Task: As with everything, we can always find the comparison and this comparison would be that things can end, despite the good run you've had. It could be your relationship, your job, or your diet. Incorporate an ending in your story which is focused solely on your couple and is affecting them emotionally.

After the talk with his parents, Ron had a lot of thinking.

He had a lot of time, the summer hols was still going, though, soon it would be time for classes to start again.

Severus had gone back home and Ron found himself staying with his sister in Romania, avoiding his parents and Severus at all costs.

But he has a choice now, one that he has to make.

"Stop wallowing," Ginny's sharp voice commanded, pulling Ron out of his thoughts.

"'M not wallowing," Ron grumbled, refusing to look at his sister. He needed this, this time for himself. He's been stuck in some kind of honeymoon phase with Severus and he needs this time to push past it.

"You put this upon yourself," Ginny told him, throwing a towel at his head.

"Now go take a shower, you stink." She didn't leave any room for Ron to argue. With a grumble and a sigh, Ron found himself in the shower, hiis mind moving onto what he would be doing come next semester.

Technically, he and Severus were still dating, the man never said that they were breaking up, but, did he really deserve to be with the man?

These thoughts swirled through his mind like the water into the drain, and with that, he knew what he had to do.

With a sigh, he left the shower with a new, sad determination.

Severus was waiting in the sitting room while Ron gathered his things. He never knew what this felt like, loving someone and letting them leave like this. He knew it was for the better, they rushed into things, Ron was young, he shouldn't have allowed the relationship in the first place.

Ron had come to the castle with hunched shoulders and sat him down, explaining to him why he thought it was best that they broke it off.

The silver ring in his chest was well hidden. He should have known.

It was for the best, letting Ron go.

With one last half smile, Ron left their once shared chambers, and everything was final.

Maybe it could have been avoided, maybe they didn't have to be so drastic, but the light feeling in his chest as he closed the door told him that it was the best option. And the way they parted made an opening for a future, and they wouldn't rush into it next time, if there is a next time.

With a freeing sigh, Severus let him go.

So, this is just to finish the story.

I plan on fixing it up and reposting sometime in April maybe. Who knows. It's a bit, off, but I think it gets my point across, and now it's done so, there's that.

Looking forward to finishing up my works. Fingers crossed!
