"Hey, you can't take that!" Alaska yelled at California, some of her hair sliding over to her eyes as she jumped up and down trying to get her prized possession. It was no use anyways, California was taller, faster, and more fit. California tossed her matryoshka doll hand to hand, smirking.

"So, did you get this from your communist dad?And only babies play with these stupid dolls."Cali got a devious look in her eyes,"What if this broke?Of course, on accident."

Alaska's eyes widened in horror,"Nyet! Please,no!" her slight Russian accent came out really thick as it always did when she was scared or nervous.

Tears welled up in Alaska's eyes as she thought of losing the last thing her father gave California had struck a nerve with "babies", even though Alaska had been with America for a long time, she had the appearance of an eight years old.

"Nyet, nyet,"California mimicked, laughing at Alaska's accent,"What the heck does that even mean?" Alaska noticed how close California was to the window, and then her sister grinned,"Oops!" and it fell.

"Noooo!"Alaska cried out as she dove forward in a last attempt to save her beloved doll.

But what surprised her most was a hard sounding 'bonk' noise that followed.

"What? Alaska why is this out here?!" America's loud, boisterous voice rang out from below. Of course America would come home at that very moment from the World Summit, it was just Alaska's luck.
