This is because my friend hasn't gotten off of her 3DS in 15 days. We miss you. R.I.P.
AN: So, as I was playing Yo-kai Watch the other day, I noticed that the daylight cycle wasn't part of the gameplay until after you get Tattletell. So basically, as I was with crazy friends at the time, this wondrous work came into being. This is a crack fic with no plot and no structure, it's just my crazy re-telling of part of the storyline of the game.
First of all, this was not my plan. I certainly did not want time to continue. I was rather happy running around like a maniac with my bug net waving through the air to my heart's content. But oh no, all the Pokémon-I mean Yo-kai-just had to ruin my careless days.
It all started when my long-lost-twin-brother/best friend/maybe-alternate-universe-self(I dunno, this isn't a fanfic or anything) Nate got into a fight with his afro friend Casey. We were supposed to hang out that day, but he seemed so moody and depressed that my better conscience, (despite how tiny it is) actually got the better of me. I hassled the guy-that-looks-freakishly-like-me to man up and muster the courage to apologize to his friend. He slinked away, purple anime sadness swirls still his close companion, and headed toward the river.
My own "close companion" Whisper, (who never whispers, by the way) convinced me to violently shove my way into my friends personal affairs and mend his own issue for him. I argued that Nate should fix this on his own, but Whisper is really hard to say no to. So I agreed to sashay my way over to the riverbed to help my friend, but not before going a completely separate route to catch some bugs, beat up Yo-kai, and occasionally steal gum and used candy from under cars and in alleys. Yum. I mean, that is the objective of this game, right? Bug catching?
When I got to the riverside, I spotted Nate standing far to the side like a wimp. I made a triple flip in the air over him and army crawled over to the other benches to eavesdrop on a high schooler Passionately proclaiming his love to his schoolmate. Passionately with a capital P. Rune Factory 4 Porcoline Bucket Challenge Event kind of Passionately. After loafing around as long as my patience would allow me to, I cartwheeled back to my nonbrother. The high schooler from before was still being extremely loud, though, and Whisper proclaimed extremely loudly that this MUST BE THE WORK OF A YO-KAI! Gee, he could've told me before I did all that army-crawling work...
Anyway, I searched the area and sure enough, I found a...shrunken grandma thing...? That can only say one thing? Wait, why can I understand her? She didn't fight me, but I'm not sure I wanted her too...
Once she gave me her Medallion, we all decided that it would be a fabulous idea to try and use the exact same inspiriting method that got Nate in trouble in the first place to try and get the children to patch things up. Brilliant! A whole buncha other stuff happened, but then evening came, and then I realized that the daytime cycle had finally started to tick forward again for the first time since I'd been "gifted" this "special" watch.
The next day, it rained.
To be continued...?
