Hey y'all! Good news! I understand it's been a EXTREMELY long time since I've updated, or even shown any interest in this story, but I come bearing good news! In lieu of the new and final movie in the trilogy, I've decided to try and rewrite/redo this story. It'll be up on AO3 (the first chapter is even up right now!), and it's being rebranded as "The Cleansing", after the song by Nothing More. Many of you really enjoyed this story, and I enjoyed writing it, so I hope you'll love the new version of it! Some things have been changed, and parts of Kai's backstory has been changed, but I'm really enjoying the new direction this story is going to take. As always, this is definitely Rey/Kai.

I hope you all will read it, as I've been asked to update frequently.
