Disclaimer: I do not own Familia Myth nor the characters involved. I also don't make money off this fanfiction.
Author's Note: So I absolutely love Familia Myth/Is it wrong to pick up girls in a dungeon. And it gives me an amazing world to pull multiple characters in too. As such right now I am leaning toward Naruto, Rosario + Vampire, and Fairy Tale for the character crossover. Let me know what you think of the prologue! And no flames please!
Prologue
It was a cool night in the city of Orario. Unseasonably cold for early summer season. The full moon had long since risen and most everyone was asleep in their beds. In the basement of a small crumbling church its single occupant lay awake in the darkness. She looked rather young, her deep midnight colored hair almost invisible against her pale skin that glowed in the darkness. She was a short girl, only standing 4'7" in height but looked very young, as if only a child on the cusp of womanhood. Her body belied her youth with a large bust, deep curved hips, and blue eyes that seemed to glow as tears pooled within them.
This was Hestia, a goddess who had recently come down from the heavens to the lower world as many of her fellow deities had. Her friend Hephaestus had taken her in at first but had quickly tired of Hestia's freeloading and attempt at reading through her library. Rather than simply kick her friend out though she helped Hestia find a place to live and while small it was sturdy and warm, a perfect starting place for a new Familia. But after weeks of searching she had yet to find a single member for her Familia. Now she laid awake in the middle of the night, her arms wrapped around her legs pulled tight to her chest as she cried, her tears staining sheets beneath her.
Unlike the other gods and goddesses before her she hadn't come to Orario in search of glory or amusement but for family. She loved to read and often her favorite stories were of guilds and family that worked together to overcome great obstacles and live in harmony. But that dream seemed like it was never to be as after work each day she searched for members for her Familia and each day she found none.
She refused to cry in front of anyone, she was a proud goddess after all, but here in the middle of the night when no one could see her Hestia allowed her emotions to rise to the surface and overtake her. Her heart reached out wanting to bring together those who sought family and adventure more than anything. She wanted her home, as small as it is, to be filled with laughter and voices. How she longed for those noises of life, whether they were rich or poor, being together would mean so much more.
And that's where everything changed and the lives of many were abruptly altered.
As Hestia cried herself back to sleep a primordial being stirred in its slumber and opened a half lidded eye. It saw the pain of one of its descendants and in its sleep filled mind came to half a decision before closing the eye and returning to its slumber.
However, such decisions by beings born and created before the universe itself were not to be taken lightly and this creature would probably never know what its decision had wrought as it returned to endless slumber.
