To Planet Ourobos! Heart and Mind

Previously on Jen 10...

For those of you who are reading this, then let me congratulate you for coming this far. Hi, I'm Jen Tennyson, an ordinary teenage school girl, who just happens to own the galaxy's most powerful watch. With the help of my alien powers, I became the Champion of Justice, known as Jen 10!

Wanna meet my friends? There's my brainiac cousin Glen, a redhead and the smartest person I know. He wields the power of the Anodite, a race of aliens who can manipulate the mana or life energy. Using his powers, he can make shields, barriers, shoot lasers, and maybe even more! I can always count on him to get me out of a jam or with my homework.

Then there's Kylie, whom I consider to be my sister! She and I weren't always friends, we used to be enemies when we were kids. But after I saved her life one time, we reconciled and became a great team. She has a really bad temper, but she's cool. Her powers comes from her Osmosian mother, so she can absorb any matter in the galaxy! I think that's super cool!

Last but not least is my frenemy Albeda. She has a cold personality and a vendetta against me ever since I defeated her. Her eyes are so dark and deep, like you could be sucked in. It's like she knows everything in the universe! Sometimes she'll help out, but only if it benefits her.

My story so far is that I lost the Omnitrix! Just when all hope seemed to be lost, my counterpart from another universe shows up with his team to help out. I have to say, he looks so fine and nice in his jacket of his! Ben is such a sweet and caring guy. Too bad Albeda and I have the same crush on him!

Last time, me and the others found the location of the Omnitrix! Turns out it's on Planet Ourobos, on the outskirts of the galaxy! Can we get there before Vilora figures that out?

"Space...the final frontier. These are the many adventures of the-"

"Jen I swear if you don't cut it out with the Star Trek references...!"

The team was flying through space in Kylie's new ship that she had "borrowed" from a local smuggler friend of hers. Kevin sat next to her as her co-pilot, navigating the galaxy around this new area. Glen sat in the back, focusing on his magic books while Gwen was reading along with him too. Ben was going through the database tablet that Albeda had made to learn more about this alternate universe.

"Hey Ben," Jen scooted closer towards him, placing her head on his shoulder. "What'cha reading about?"

"I'm trying to learn more about this planet we're going to. Apparently, this planet isn't even part of the Milky Way Galaxy system." His eyes lit up with happiness. "So this is new to me since I only know about my solar system and the planets beyond, but your universe seems to have more things to discover."

Jen blushed at how cute Ben was acting right now. "It's always fun to learn about the new planets and lifeforms that inhabit them." She smiled softly. "Being the aliens in the Omnitrix is fun and all, but seeing their environments and interacting with them is the best feeling in all the universe."

Albeda scowled at the way Jen and Ben were getting all lovey-dovey. "Oh please, what does she have that I don't?" She asked Gwen and Glen who were just chatting.

Glen shrugged. "Who knows? Maybe you should just consider that an alternative Jen Tennyson will always love the man who is just like her in every way."

"I find it fascinating that Ben would fall for a female version of himself. After all his failed relationships, the one that seems the most plausible is one from another dimension." Gwen put in, putting her books away. "Perhaps you should try to understand him from her eyes. Both of them, if that is possible, had people hurt that have hurt them before. So be careful what you say around him. Otherwise..." Her eyes started glowing menacingly, making Albeda shrink from her.

"Dully noted." Albeda said, shivering at the sight of an angry Anodite. The Galvan human hybrid watched the two Tennysons talk things out. A feeling boiled deep inside her heart as she watched them laugh and joke around. Was this the human emotion they called jealousy? How revolting! How dare her heart make her feel this way! Must be part of being these disgusting creatures!

Kylie gazed back at the conflicted face of Albeda and snickered. "Poor alien, doesn't know how to sort out her own emotions."

"Can't blame her though. Albedo only wanted to kill Ben in our universe." Kevin said, adjusting the ship's position. "Seeing this one act like such a high school girl with a crush is hilarious."

This was just a small break chapter that will lead up to the next arc! Hope to see you guys around.
