The Reconciliation Colloquium is a story in mixed form - the first and last will be a set of drabbles (100-words each; in my mind, free-form poetry), and the middle section prose. The first drabbles will set the scene; the latter ones close and give an inference toward what might happen afterwards.
This story presumes you are either spoiled for 9x10, or have watched it already. I am spoiled through 9x11, and it is on my heart that the events that unfold here must precede 9x11. I cannot imagine a significant discussion of some sort did not happen in those three weeks between (if we go by 9x10 occurring soon after Thanksgiving, and 9x11 on December 17th).
No ownership of these characters is either expressed or implied.
Chamomile tea… check, Amy thought.
Baked hot dog spaghetti in oven… check.
Amy surveyed the room... anything out of place? Nothing.
Nothing except the fear inside…
Last night, everything was right.
His arms holding me! So tight…
Barely able to breathe… not wanting to anymore!
His kisses… my mouth… my neck…
Sheldon… don't stop!
But then, I did.
"Please… let's talk."
Sheldon concurred, head downcast.
"Tomorrow?" Amy asked, palm caressing his face. "I'll make dinner."
Sheldon's hope-filled eyes. "6:00?"
Amy nodded.
Front door handle turned… Sheldon looked back: "I love you."
"I love you, too," Amy whispered to her memory.
5:58:00 pm.
Sheldon's fist raised, ready to knock…
Last night… Just on the other side…
I told Amy everything… And she wants me!
Her soft body melted to mine…
Her mouth… her kisses… warm… inviting…
I stopped. I was interrupting their evening.
Amy pulled me back… wanted more….
Oh, Dear Lord, I had almost forgotten…
How this feels… how she feels…
Is this heaven?
Then she stopped…
"Please… let's talk."
My heart stopped…
We need to… but I'm really scared.
5:59:57…
I'm ready now… to fight for her.
5:59:58
For us.
5:59:59
I love her.
6:00:00
[Knock. Knock. Knock.]
"Amy?"
