The Compound is quiet when J'allah and Klaus walks in during the early sun rise, he looks away and it appears to be empty and deserted.

"Well this is easier than I thought it would be" she says and proceeds to walk further in only when she is thrown through the air and against the wall.

"Not as easy as you thought" Rebekah says now standing in front of Klaus, he hardens his face and steps forward to push her aside when he is grabbed from behind and slammed down. Kol stands over him with a wooden stake in his hand and his foot on Klaus's chest.

"Really brother? You should have more faith in us, but then again you did side with a lunatic old hag over your own family. I say your age is making you act out irrationally" Kol says tilting his head.

"Kol look out" Rebekah says, Kol turns around just as J'allah sends her hand out and he goes flying against the bar.

"Go get your son. I will handle these two" she says, Klaus gets up and makes his way upstairs just as Rebekah lunges at J'allah.

The door to his son's nursery is close, gently pushing it open with his hand; in the middle of the room is the crib. He steps forward and leans over, only to see its empty.

"Niklaus, did you really think it would be that easy" he hears and Elijah steps out of the shadows cradling his son in his arms.

"Hand me my son Elijah and let me leave" Klaus says, Elijah ignores his brother and moves to gently lie his nephew in his crib. He then steps back and unbuttons his shirt sleeves and rolls them up.

"Brother my nephew is not leaving and neither are you" Elijah says, Niklaus speds over towards the crib only for Elijah to grab him by the neck and throw him into the adjoining room.

"You do not want to make me mad brother" Klaus growls, his eyes flashing gold.

"As I said before, neither of you are leaving. And I meant it, the moment you walked up those stairs, you walked into a barrier spell. You can't leave until this is over. We can casually sit here until J'allah is defeated or would you rather fight" Elijah says hissing and changing his face.

Downstairs, Rebekah has tackled J'allah into a nearby table and raises her fist to punch her but J'allah moves her head to the side; she pushes her knees into Rebekah's stomach and pushes her off before standing up laughing maniacally.

"Do you really think, that you petty vampires can beat me. I am J'allah, I can not be defeated" she boosts putting her hands into the air.

"Oh shut up for bloody hell" Kol says before punching her, the blow comes unexpected so it makes her stumble a little bit and her bottom lip bleeds.

"That was a nice punch. But didn't your mother teach you, not to hit women" she says and brings up hands up; Kol drops to his knees as it feels like his heart is being crushed.

"Kol" Rebekah screams and kicks a chair leg, shattering it; she grabs a broken wood piece and runs at J'allah aiming for her heart when she is caught by the neck.

"You really should have stayed away because now you both will have to die" she says.

"You first bitch" she hears and turns around to see Phoenix with a metal crowbar in her hand, she hits her arm that is choking Rebekah and knocks it down before swinging the crow bar upside her head, releasing her power on Kol. Both siblings gasp for air as they watch Phoenix take on J'allah.

"Humans fighting vampires battles. How pathetic" J'allah says as Phoenix swings at her with the crowbar again; J'allah uses her speed and throws her hand out against Phoenix's chest, sending her flying on her back a few feet away. She coughs dryly as the crowbar flies out her hand, her chest feels like it's on fire and her back is throbbing.

Klaus sends a quick swift to Elijah's stomach making him bend before grabbing his head and slamming it against the wall.

"I will not ask again for my son" Klaus growls, Elijah brings his head back making Klaus release his grip on him before turning around and jabbing him in his jaw. The blow sends Klaus to his knees.

"Century after century, I have protected you and this family Niklaus. At what cost will it take you to see, all I want from you is to be redeemed" Elijah barks.

"Shut up" Klaus growls, Elijah goes to kick him but Klaus grabs his leg instead and pulls it making him lose his balance and fall on his back.

Klaus stands up and makes a run to his son's crib, when Elijah grabs his by the collar of his leather jacket and spins him around. After centuries of fighting along each other, they know how to anticipate each other's moves. Blow for blow, kick for kick; they are not able to get a hit in and locks each other's arms.

Klaus brings his head up repeatedly and hits Elijah until he releases his arms, Elijah stumbles back dazed and Klaus reaches out wrapping his hand around his waist. He hears a piercing scream and commotion come from downstairs, thus making Braiden cry and turns his head; Elijah takes that distraction and grabs Klaus's hand from around his neck and twisting it to the side before headbutting Klaus. Klaus staggers and Elijah kicks him through the wall and he lands against the staircase, he turns around gripping the railing to see Kol and Rebekah fighting J'allah but what catches his attention is the familiar face he thought he would never see again.

"Camille" he says, almost like she can hear him; Phoenix turns her head and looks up as Elijah appears behind him after calming down Braiden.

"Hello my handsome boy" she calms out to him and Klaus eyes widen, he knew instantly it wasn't Cami.

"No" he screams as J'allah uses magic to snap Kol and Rebekah's neck, Phoenix looks at Elijah who nods; Klaus sees this and rushes to jump over the stairs but the barrier spell won't let him.

Phoenix pulls out a dark object she found in Marcel's condo, supposedly he used it to save Hope the day she was born; it brings one thousand cuts to whoever gets hit with it.

She grabs J'allah from around the shoulder and spins her around before thrusting the object into her chest right under her sternum, J'allah back hands Phoenix who flies across the air before hitting her head on the side of the concrete wall and dropping into a pile of broken glass and wood.

J'allah gasps as she feels cuts appear all across her body, she hisses as blood pulls in her mouth before she pulls the object out of her and tosses it on the ground.

"Was that supposed to kill me" she asks Phoenix, Phoenix exhales and blood spatters out her mouth; she is holding the side of her stomach where a large piece of glass is sticking out and her head is bleeding.

"No just distract you" Phoenix says and holds her hand up to see her amulet wrapped around her fist, J'allah eyes widen as she pats her neck when her neck is snapped. Freya and Vincent appear and Freya looks up at Elijah and Klaus and waves her hand, twisting her wrist she drops the barrier spell.

Klaus immediately jumps over the balcony and rushes over to Phoenix's side; he gently turns her on her side making her cry out in pain. The glass appears to hit a deep artery and she doesn't have much longer.

"Phoenix. I thought I killed you" he says, she laughs but it makes her chest hurt and the glass go deeper so she stops.

"When has that ever stopped me. Klaus we need to finish this, you have to kill her" she says.

"Then your body will be forever lost" Klaus says pulling her into his lap, Phoenix reaches up and touches his cheek.

"Trust me" she whispers, Klaus looks at her before digging in his pocket and grabbing the athame and sliding it to Kol's feet.

"Well back to hell you go" Kol says and grabs the athame about to jam it in her chest but Freya stops him.

"Not yet Kol. You have to wait a few more seconds" Freya says.

"Why? We want her dead. Here is the weapon to kill her. So let me kill her" Kol says, Elijah comes downstairs with Braiden in his arms and looks at Klaus.

"Brother, Freya is right" he says; Vincent is sitting in between the empty space between Phoenix's body and Cami's; one hand out facing either of them with an sideways hourglass in front of him. One half is drawn from the blood of Phoenix and the other half is drawn from the blood of Cami.

"I love you Niklaus. See you on the other side" Phoenix says gripping his arm firmly before her eyes close and her head drops.

"Now Kol! Now" Freya yells and Kol stabs J'allah right in the heart, they watch as her eyes fly open and are pure back and her upper body jerks upwards as she gasps for air.

Black smoke evaporates from her body and Freya raises her hands in front of her and chants, Vincent hands shake as he continues to shake and the compound rumbles around them.

"The amulet. We need the amulet" Vincent says and Rebekah rushes over to Klaus who has tears in his eyes, she grabs the amulet out of Cami's hands and rushes over placing it on to Phoenix's body.

The black smoke forms into a ball before Freya sends her hands out and it combusts, Freya arms drop and her shoulders sag as her breathing is heavier. The hourglass in front of Vincent sets on fire before disappearing.

"Is it done" Rebekah asks after a moment of silence.

"Yes the shadow is finally defeated once and for all. Thank you" Vincent says.

"But at what cost" Klaus says, his voice wavering as he looks down at Camille's bruised and bloodied body.

"Brother" Elijah says when Phoenix body gasps and she sits up from off the ground, Klaus gently lies down Camille's body before walking over to her.

"Phoenix" he asks gently?

"Hello my love. I told you I'd see you on the other side" she says, everyone chuckles when Klaus wraps his arms around her and pushes his nose against her neck.

"Can someone tell me what bloodied happen just now" Kol asks confused.

"The athame killed J'allah and released a lot of magic in the air, I was able to channel that magic into a ball" Freya says.

"That's when I channeled the magic from to put Phoenix back in her body, the amulet was needed so her body would still have active magic flowing through it or she would have been dead" Vincent finishes.

"Good then we can leave this city. I hate it here" Kol says.

"I couldn't agree with you more" Rebekah says.

"Niklaus would you like to hold your son" Elijah asks stepping forward, Klaus hesitates as he looks at the small baby in Elijah's arms.

"What if I break him" Klaus asks?

"You haven't broke Hope. Nik you are an great father to Hope and you will be to Braiden also" Rebekah says.

"Who's bloody idea was it to name him Braiden" Klaus asks slightly repulse?

"I did and seeing as I carried and died giving birth to him. I have a say so in his name" Phoenix says, Klaus flinches as she speaks about his birth and her death before looking back at his son.

Elijah gently places him in Klaus's arms and almost like he senses his father, his nephew lets out a small mewling that makes everyone aw and coo.

"Spencer. Spencer Braiden Mikaelson. My tiniest wolf, you are safe" Klaus says before leaning down pressing a kiss against his head.
