Maddie's .P.O.V.

"MRS MESSENGER!" My teacher, Mrs. Hearts, said pulling out my ear plugs "Yes Mrs. Hearts?" I said pulling my shoulder length brown hair in front of my face, we were on a field trip to the Florida Science Center and aquarium in West Palm Beach and I was bored out of my mind "Since you think your so smart, mind telling the class about DNA?" She said, my mind flashed to the DNA sign "Deoxyribonucleic acid is a molecule that carries most of the genetic instructions used in the development, functioning and reproduction of all known living organisms and many viruses. DNA is a nucleic acid; alongside proteins and carbohydrates, nucleic acids compose the three major macromolecules essential for all known forms of life. Most DNA molecules consist of two biopolymer strands coiled around each other to form a double helix. According to base pairing rules, hydrogen bonds bind the nitrogenous bases of the two separate polynucleotide strands to make double-stranded DNA." I finished and the teacher went off grumbling 'Show-off' "Nice job freak" Jake, the class blockhead, said. I cringed at the word 'freak' he's just jealous that I got full college scholarship to Harvard, Yale, and some Japanese school I tell myself. Ever since the incident when I was three I could read minds, go invisble for a short time, feel emotions, see through walls, and hear incredible distances. Cool powers right? Well sometimes I just wish I was normal.

I was in my bedroom when Grady burst through the doors "Sophie, Mr. Forkle wants to talk to you" he said "Kay, coming now" I said heading downstairs to a familiar face "hello Sophie" Mr. Forkle said I recognized Fiz, Dex, Bina, Aleden, Della, and Edaline standing there "What happened?"
