Hello, I have recently finished reading Twilight: Life or Death and could not put it down, the only disappointing thing was knowing that there would be no continuation, so I decided to try and rectify that in my own little way. This story follows what would have happened if the ending had been as it was in the original novel, to the best of my ability. I do not own any of these characters all rights to their respective owners, do not sue me... and lastly enjoy.

I ask no more than to live a hundred years longer, that I may have more time to dwell the longer on your memory.

Jules Verne, Twenty Thousand Leagues Under the Sea

Preface

Have you ever had a dream where you're running, either away or to something but you can't quite make your legs move fast enough? I was currently living out the reality of this dream, only at this moment it was more like a nightmare; the worst nightmare imaginable.

My legs wouldn't move fast enough, each step bringing me closer to my goal, but too slowly as the seconds ticked agonisingly by.

I had to reach in time, there was no other option, success or oblivion that was what I was facing as I hurled myself through the static crowd, trying to dodge as many people as I could and barging the ones I couldn't out of the way.

If only it had been a cloudy day and Archie had been here in my place, we would have nothing to worry about. As it was he was trapped by the merciless sun beating down on the square; I took a quick glance at the clock tower as more seconds passed by.

I was unconcerned about the fact that we were surrounded by deadly enemies, because at that second the clock tower began to chime and my heart plummeted. I had failed and having something deadly to take away this pain seemed like a good thing to me. The only sound I could hear was the last chime bellowing from the tower. Time was up.

A quick start I know, I'll update more as quickly as possible.
