"Good morning, Ponch," Jon said walking into the break room.

Ponch was getting some ding dongs from the vending machine. "Hi, Jon," he said happily, as he grabbed his package of ding dongs. He opened it up. "You want one?" he asked holding out one of them.

"No thank you, I prefer not to each such garbage," Jon replied.

"Garbage? Jon I was offering you the ding dong not the empty wrapper," Ponch said.

"I know, and I told you I refuse to eat such garbage."

"Jon, a ding dong is not garbage; it's the best thing in the world that you can eat. It tastes really good, and it's chocolate. How can you say its garbage? You've never even ate one before," Ponch said.

"Ok I'm sorry maybe to some people it's not trash," Jon replied.

"Jon I don't just go around insulting your favorite snack if I've never even tried it. So why should you go around insulting my favorite snack when you yourself haven't even tried it? What if you actually like it?"

"I highly doubt that could happen, Ponch. If you like it so much I'm not sure I should try it. I mean you're the guy who likes to eat tuna and beans together," Jon said.

Ponch rolled his eyes,"Ok that's different, now as I was gonna say…."

"No, I know where you are going with this. I will not eat that ding dong, Ponch. There is no way you could make me do it."

"Really, not even if I offered to do all the reports for a week?"

"Nope."

"How about a month? And just for you I'll buy your coffee and your lunch today."

"Oh Ponch, you are really good at getting me to do things I don't want to do. How could I pass up an offer like that?"

"You'd have to be dumb to pass up an offer like that, Baker. By the way I learned how to get you to do stuff from Grossie last year," Ponch said with a smile.

"Ok well, I guess I'll try that ding dong. But if I don't like it I'm never gonna eat one again," Jon said.

"Ok, and if you do like it, then you need to apologize for making me feel bad about eating them," Ponch said.

"Ok deal, now hand it over," Jon said.

Ponch handed him the ding dong.

Jon closed his eyes and slowly began to take a bite.

"Jon open your eyes it isn't that bad," Ponch said.

Jon opened his eyes and took a bite. Then he took another bite, soon he finished it. "That really wasn't that bad," he said.

"Really? You liked it?" Ponch asked excitedly.

"I said it wasn't that bad, I wouldn't eat them all the time like you do, but I guess I could have one on special occasions or something," Jon said. Ponch just stared at Jon waiting for him to apologize.

"Oh yeah, Ponch I'm sorry for insulting the ding dong and making you feel bad. I hope I never do that again."

"Ok, I forgive you, now let's get to work."

"Hey what about the coffee you said you'd buy me?"

"Oh you want that now?" Ponch asked nervously.

"Yeah, is something wrong?"

"I don't have any money with me right now. I need to go to the bank," Ponch said kinda quietly.

Jon smiled, "Wow Ponch, and I was just starting to think you actually were gonna buy my coffee this morning," he teased.

"I will, it just might be from McDonald's or something," Ponch replied.

"Ok, well I guess you never said where you were gonna buy my coffee," Jon said. Then they left to go to the bank.
