Hello, everyone!

There's little point in beating around the bush, so I'll say that this is unfortunately not the update most of you were probably wishing for. This is an announcement to make you all aware that, until further notice, this fanfic is discontinued or, if you prefer, on indefinite hiatus.

I cannot thank you all for the months- no, years now of support and love I've received from you lovely people, who took time out of your lives to give my writing a read. It means the world to me, and I do sincerely apologize for leaving this in limbo for so long. I've grown as a writer and a person these past few years, and it has been a genuine joy to have you all along for at least a small part of it.

I will continue to write one-shots and smaller stories, but I do concede that attempting to write something so large with where I am currently was a bit of a misstep on my part. I can assure you with some degree of certainty that I will return to Crown of Thorns - or some variation thereupon - in the future, but for now, when that will be isn't clear.
