"Ohhh..." She moaned as she savored the sweet and tangy taste. "You have to try this." She smiled blissfully.
His mouth twitched into a smirk and he shook his head slightly.
"You don't understand. This is like biting into heaven. You have to try! Just one little bite."
He raised one eyebrow in response.
"None of you fancy eyebrow magic. Why can't I ever do that?" Steph tried, but only ended up doing an impersonation of a rabbit twitching it's nose.
He laughed softly, and brought his fork up to her lips. Looking down at what appeared to be grass clippings, and she shook her head repeatedly and leaned away from the offensive food. He chuckled and tried to go back to eating his lunch.
"Oh, wait! Put some of this on it first!" Steph picked a small piece of her pineapple upside down cake off with her fingers, and tried to place it on his fork. Now, it was Ranger's turn to back away.
"What? Batman's afraid of sweets? It has fruit in it?" She smirked.
Ranger gave her his blank face, but Steph knew better. She stood up, and walked over to where he sat at their small kitchen table. Trailing her hand lightly across his broad shoulders as she went. Then, pushed his chair back from the table, allowing her the room she needed. Ranger remained still, as Steph swung one leg over and straddled him. She lifted her fork which held a big piece of the sugary dessert, up to his lips.
"You know you want some." She wiggled a bit on his lap, and giggled. "I promise you will love it. Taste it. Please?" She whispered.
Steph knew she had him now, and was shocked when he smiled and once again shook his head no. She squirmed in his lapped again, hoping to entice him. He laughed, and stood them both up.
Stunned, she asked, "You've turning me down?"
"No, babe. I just wanted more than just a taste."
Steph stared in disbelief as she watch him take a big bite of her piece of cake. When he took a second huge bite and smiled, it occurred to her that there wasn't much left. It was after the third bite, she decided to jump into action. She grabbed for the plate, but he laughed and held it above her reach.
"That's not fair." She whined jumping for it. "There is only one bite left!"
Ranger looked at the remaining morsel for a moment, before backing up into the living room. Steph recognized the mischievous look in his eyes, and began chasing him around the couch. "Be careful you don't drop it!" She crawled over the couch, and grabbed his shirt. "Ha! I win! Hand it over!"
He popped the last bite into his mouth, and moaned, "You were right, babe. This is good."
"You little..." The plate then clattered to the ground as Steph tackled him.

Just a little funny short.
