I rather enjoy the show Supernatural and the fics found. For some reason I found this idea kind of funny and adorable. This is one of the few Supernatural fics planning to try to get my foot in the fandom. This most likely diverges from the season 5 or so. Other than this can be seen as friendship or slash.

What's this?

Summary: As soon as the words pass the former devil's lips, due to the fact he's grounded and for penance to keep an eye on Sam Winchester, becomes too much for the man. Confuse why his vessel would be laughing. He manages to choke out to as his brother about a movie later on.

A look of distaste settles on Lucifer's features looking at the white powder around him. It's cold and he finds it too much like when he been in Hell for his liking. Other than this is his penance to able to go back to Heaven and be on his father's good graces once more.

"What's this?" He barks out seeing Sam suddenly choke at his words.

"Snow," Sam answers knowing he has to keep the song out of his head that appear before he starts cracking up especially with the look of slight wonder appears in the icy blue eyes.

"Weird," the ground bound archangel grumbles bending down to poke at the snow. "What use does this have?"

"Snow balls, snow men, snow angels," Sam lists, biting his bottom lip.

"What's this snow balls?" Lucifer tilts his head reminding the hunter of another angel though a strange gleam to enter those eyes. "What are the other points of this snow?"

Shoulders starting to shake from suppress laughter at the innocence of the question; Sam couldn't take it anymore starts to laugh a genuine laugh bringing for a moment a hint of a true smile to form at the corner of his lips. Lucifer blinks a few times waiting patiently to have his answers.

"Snow is frozen water. Snow balls can be made when forming a ball from snow. It's for fun and games." Sam gasps in between the laughter. "When you have the chance ask Gabriel and Castiel to show you a movie, Nightmare before Christmas later!"

Lucifer shrugs muttering under his breath finding his former vessel still laughing harder, "Mortals are rather strange creatures. "
