Summary: The Killing Game AU. How things ended between Katrine and Captain Miller?

The Killing Game

"Promise me you will come back here when the war is over?" Katrine asked, giving him a crooked smile, but inside her heart clenched at the thought that he would go to the US and not return. "St. Claire is quite sunny in the summer."

"I promise Katrine." Captain Miller answered her after dressing himself in his uniform, giving a nod with his hat, looking fondly at the beautiful woman before him, with slightly tousled wavy hair, wrapped only in a sheet, her body stained from the activities that they had done a just moments ago, in that room above her bar.

The woman appeared unconvinced, after all, it was just another soldier passing by the city that was involved in the war, even if it was a gentle, affectionate and gorgeous golden skinned captain, with black and bright hair and eyes with a strong body, that had helped her with the last night's mission.

But for a woman, for her, that night they had spent together, first in an alley, while trying to cross the city and then there, in her bedroom, had been special and warmed her heart.

Miller then made a decision, seeing the disbelief in her blue eyes. He opened the drawer that was there and took a pair of scissors. Approaching Katrine, who looked at him curiously, he held a strand of her reddish-brown hair and cut a piece of it, leaving her gaping.

"HEY!"

"You know my descendants are Indians, right?" She nodded, still annoyed, as he tied a leather strap to hold the strands of hair together. "My people believed that, having something from the person who loved them and caring it in the war, especially a lock of hair, would bring them back home."

"So... It means you're going to return to give me back my lock of hair?" She asked amused, and at the same time touched.

"Yes." He said opening a beautiful smile, showing his dimples and contrast of his golden skin with white teeth.

"Oh, Miller..." She stood up, regardless of her nakedness while letting the sheet fall and with a beautiful smile, she wrapped her arms around his neck and legs around his waist and Miller slid one of his hand to her bare buttocks, sustaining her body to his while they kissed passionately.

"You... are a very special woman Katrine, and I plan to come back here, not for the sun, but for you." He said, after breaking the kiss, both panting. And it was true, he had never met anyone like Katrine, so passionate and strong, seeing her sneaking with him last night, dressed in black during the mission.

"Okay." She nodded, shaking her head, also catching her breath. "And when you return, I hope you don't mind sharing a room with me again, for the entire stay."

"Not at all." And to show that he was telling her the true, he led them to the nearest wall, keeping one hand holding her while with the other he opened his zipper and within seconds, both had their eyes closed as they loosed themselves in their love.

"So beautiful, your body reminds me of whipped cream." He murmured.

Miller's lips, hot and full of passion, roamed over her face, neck, and then captured a rosy nipple between his teeth and in response, Katrine buried her teeth into his shoulder biting him and then she raised her red lips to his ear, whispering words of love and encouraging him while the rhythm of the thrusts increased.

Minutes later, recomposed, Katrine dressed herself in a sweater and skirt while Miller straightened his crumpled clothes and, hand in hand, they walked to the entrance of Katrine's bar, which was empty at morning. They stared at each other for a while and then Katrine touched the strip with her hair that was around his neck and smiled.

Miller brushed a sweaty strand of hair away from her forehead, and then, the couple exchanged a passionate kiss before he left and she went back to her bar.
