Again i am sorry for the late update!

I work full time and i have so little free time.

But Percy Jackson and The Hero Of the Hunt is part of my heart and i will not leave it, till it's over!

Percy

I simply started at her.

I knew exactly what she meant.

And i felt it too.

I hugged her once more.

"Thank you" i said, she smiled and burst into flames.

I had to do something before i would be ready to start a new chapter in my life.

Or at least try. Or even think about it!

I walked to my father's throne, placed a hand on it, and prayed to him. Father. I need to talk to you.

What happened son, i heard his thoughts.

There is something to discuss i said and the next moment i felt a hand on my shoulder.

"I know. I feel it. I felt it the moment you returned from Tartarus. I thought it was about Annabeth."

I was left dumbfounded.

"Does she?"

"Know? No. I felt it, like Hestia, because of our connection."

"But-"

"No buts. You are Perseus Jackson, three times Hero of Olympus, slayer of numerous monsters, Titans, giants, Kronos, Gaia, Tartarus, escape the evil pit two times, Hero of the Hunt, hero of Hestia and Hades and My Son. Do not fear nothing. You have managed so much more that any human, and sometimes even gods. You made us believe and change."

I was in awe. Never before my father laid out my feats.

And i had to say something good. But my brain, worked its seaweed magic and i simply stated that Artemis had a bow.

The facepalm of my father actually created an earthquake.

"You are truly a son of mine. Live your life at its best. You earned it. And i can say, it's a life worth living with her." and he evaporated, leaving his signature mist around.

That went even better than i expected.

So with the answers i needed i flashed to the camp, to meet up with the Hunters.

And her.

The next few weeks passed by quickly.

I trained with the girls and Thalia every day, getting a bit better, with each passing failure. My falls reduced, i somehow didn't step on anything and my mark was getting better. All of the girls had warmed up and we even did pranks together to other cabins.

But they pulled some one me. Like i woke up in my roof one day. The next Thalia woke up in hers. It was hilarious! But my hair stood up for a day, just like three other hunters, alongside Anna.

But my luck changed today.

We were out in the field. And it was time i learnt to fire while walking.

The first try was quite good. The arrow didn't flew into the forest.

But in my second try, the moment i was ready to leave the arrow fly, i tripped over a root, fell head first and i managed to turn my body before hitting the ground, as my training kick in.

But that made me fire the arrow to Artemis, who had her back turned on me.

And it hit her in the back of her knee, making her buckle down and fall on top of Thalia.

And everyone around us froze and just looked at the Goddess of the Hunt, fall from my arrow.

I just layed there.

The seconds seemed to pass like an eternity each.

She turned around, slowly, eyes wide open. She stood up, helped Thalia up and then drew her bow.

"Perseus Jackson"

Shit. I am in trouble. My brain screamed RUN but my body was frozen in the spot.

"Do not dare to run. You will make it worse." she stated. She couldn't read my mind, but as it seemed, she knew me well.

"Stand" she said, same glare and tone in her voice.

I did.

She looked at me. Silence all over.

"Can you catch an arrow?" she asked.

And before i could reply she shoot me.

I almost not dodged it.

A gasp was heard from anything near us.

"I said, can you catch an arrow?" she asked again, shooting almost before she ended her sentence.

I dodged again.

I got it.

I steaded myself.

She started firing arrows.

I tried to dodge and catch.

I turned my body to the left or the right and tried to catch the arrow with the corresponding hand.

I couldn't risk anything else.

She kept firing.

Five, ten, twenty arrows.

I was panting when we reached thirty.

And she kept going.

Fire burning in her eyes with anger.

And then i did it. I caught one.

I held it in my right hand and i looked it one second more than i should.

Because she fired again.

The arrow pierced my wrist, and stayed there, making me yell in pain and letting the previous arrow fall in the sand. I used my right hand to support it.

"What are you doing!" i yelled and turned to her.

The image is burned in my head. I saw her, tears in her eyes, hand covering her mouth and her bow in the ground.

And it broke my heart. That moment i realised that i would do anything in my power not to see her cry again. For any other reason, other than happiness.

Anna and Thalia was already by my side while Artemis just flashed away.

"Are you ok?" Anna said, tears in her eyes too.

"Don't worry. I've been worse" i replied, and it was the truth. I was more amazed by catching the arrow and being caught off guard, than i was hurt.

"Let me see" said, Thalia, sounding like my mother.

"It's nothing., look" i said and i tried to will water to appear, but then i understood how much tired i was and darkness came from nowhere, enveloping me.

When i woke up i was in my tent.

It was day outside again and i heard voices from afar, and i understood that it should be lunch time

I was out cold for 2 hours!

I sat on my bed and turned my attention to my hand.

I took the bandage off and a little bit of blood stained my trousers.

I cursed the Minotaur's horns and saw two water bottles in my nightstand. I used the first on to pour in my hand and heal it, while i drank the other one like there was no tomorrow. I folded the bandage and as i was ready to stand up, i heard a knock on the door.

"Yes?"

Artemis

That idiot, calls himself a Hunter. He can't even walk and shoot.

He doesn't even know how to stop himself from shooting arrows left and right when he falls with a loaded weapon.

And he was ready to flee.

Coward.

He is the Hero of Olympus?

Three times my brain remind me but i will it shut.

All these thoughts were raging inside while i was shooting arrow at him, making him to try to catch one. And they were not blunt like the one he shot me with.

Unbelievable.

He shot me.

In the leg.

Idiot.

At least he has a good technique to try to catch one. But i fire them too quickly for him to catch. And if he does, i hope he lets it quickly and understand i can't possibly stop my speed.

But he is an idiot and he probably won't.

After the next i will decrease my tempo.

Lets hope he-...

Oh shit.

I am in trouble.

He caught it.

And he already paid the price.

I stay still, bow in the ground.

What did i do?

How could i get lost in my rage.

I was ready to burst into tears.

It's like when i shot his clone, Tartarus had done. I used my hand to hold back my sobb. I was back in the battleground of the last battle.

I hurt him. Again.

The moment he snapped, it was too much for me.

So i flashed away.

I couldn't see him hurt by me again. Whenever he is close to me in combat, he is hurt.

I appeared in my palace.

I was sad and angry with myself.

Why do i always to this?

I started shooting arrows in godly speed in it wall.

I was so lost in my thoughts that didn't understand Hestia knocking on my door, till she came in and stood in next to me.

"Artemis. Focus!" she said and brought me back.

I stopped.

From her look i already knew that she knew.

"You left so quickly and you weren't there for what came next" she said, with a motherly but strict tone.

"Is he?"

"He fainted from exhaustion. It was quite the show you put up! Ares lost a bet again"

A big breath escaped, that i didn't knew i held back.

Wait. What bet?

"He said he would not catch one?"

"No, he said that he would use his powers!"

I didn't thought about it. He could, but didn't. He isn't a coward after all. He held his ground and dealt with his punishment.

After your aggressive and threatening tone, my mind reminded me.

He could have fled.

But he knew he would end up worse if he did.

Ok ok. But let's give him the fact he didn't complain.

My answer remains the same though.

"Artemis. Stop daydreaming already!" Hestia almost shouted yet again.

I looked at her. I whispered a sorry and waved it off.

"He is in his cabin. It's best you are the first he sees." she stated and left me alone.

She was right. I used my connection to feel when he woke up, and ten minutes later he was up.

I flashed myself to Camp Half Blood and knocked on his door.

"Yes?" he answered and i stepped in.

He was almost up, hand healed and bandage on the other hand.

I looked at him. In his sea green eyes.

"Hey" i said, in a weak voice.

He stood up, took a bow and smiled at me.

"Milady. I learned to catch arrows!" he said proudly.

My chin fell on the floor.

I had put him through torture, not many people could withstand, pulled it through and i shoot him and he was in rage the last time i saw him and yet he was happy he managed to do as i instructed?

If that the case, lets test him limits.

"Where did you learn to do that?" i asked.

"I saw you do it once."

He actually paid attention. Ow.

"And did you find your error?"

"I shoot you in the knee?" he said innocently.

"About catching the arrows, coral brain!" i countered and he looked me with open eyes.

OMG. YOU CALLED HIM A CUTE NICKNAME my brain screamed!

PLAY IT COOL it continued.

I narrowed my eyes, challenging him to say something.

"When you catch one, be ready for moreee..." he said, prolonging his last word and came towards me, passed me and stood by the door.

I look at him suspiciously, making my bow materialize.

I knew what he would do.

"Moon Girl" he almost shouted and run toward the pavilion, hand flying in the air.

Idiot.

I was tempted to shot him, but instantly i figured a better idea!

Thalia

"He will be ok"

"But he fainted"

"Is it the first time?"

"He had an arrow on his hand!"

"The other time he has one in his back"

"But-"

"We left him water"

"But-"

"Why don't you ask him yourself" i cut Anna for the second time, seeing my idiot cousin running to us, hand on the air for a reason.

"Percyyy" the little girl flew to his hug.

"Don't worry. All is good! See!" he said and showed his hand , as if it was a reward.

"Whatever! You are late for lunch!" i said.

"Sorry mom!"

That earned him a good zap.

"And don't forget! We have training in soon, so eat light!" i instructed as i saw his usual blue lunch, but he didn't seem to pay attention on what i said.

The rest of the meal went by smoothly.

I was ready to set the girls free for me to start the lesson with Percy, when Artemis asked me to see her in the tent, alone.

So after some instructions, some whining by an almighty Hero of Olympus, and some zap for his brain to start functioning again, i arrived at the cabin.

"Yes milady"

"Thalia, i want to give a lesson to Percy and i want you to help me with it."

What did he do now? I mentally face palmed myself.

"Didn't you punish him enough already?"

"Did i say something about punishment?"

"Nooo...but-"

"No buts. Just a lesson."

"For?"

"To learn to keep his mouth shut!" she said, ending the discussion with her tone.

"So, how can i help?" i said. Well, if i couldn't stop his "lesson", i could try to lessen it!

"Well, let's say tomorrow in your class in the woods, he will get lost and find a pack of wolfs."

"And you want me to?"

"Take his pen and give him only blunt arrows"

"And let's say these wolves, what will they do?"

"Let's say what their leader will "instruct" them."

"And leader as we say Alpha? Or you?"

"Who knows?" she said and flashed away. Great!

Now he is in big trouble. I must find out what happened.

I left to find him.

I saw him by the lake, with Anna, doing water tricks and stuff.

It a very nice sight, seeing Percy in moments like this.

Carefree and relaxed. With people he calls and feels like family.

But i feel a change. Last time i saw him like that, i felt his sadness over Annabeth and everything that happened.

Now i feel that it has been replaced. That he close this chapter in his life.

And how he has a void inside that can only be filled with one thing. Love.

And i truly hope he finds it again.

I reached them.

"Percy? Ready?" i asked.

"Can i come too?" Anna asked.

"No. Artemis asked for a specific lesson today. Sorry!" i said.

Percy looked he knew that this would come. So he did something.

Anna hugged him and left us.

"What?" he said.

"What did you do?"

"I may have called her Moon girl"

My eyes were ready to pop out.

"Why?"

"She called me Coral Brain?" he continued, and i must have looked like a cartoon.

Could it be? They started developing feelings.

Oh my gods.

"You are! Lets go!"

Well...he had it coming.

We reached the verge of the forest.

"Give me your sword. Only bow today" i instructed and he looked at me puzzled.

"Artemi's orders!" i explained.

He didn't say anything. I think he started seeing it coming.

He gave me his pen and i provided him with the quiver.

"Ready?" i asked.

"Here goes nothing, yet again!" he whispered and we were off.

The first ten minutes went by quietly.

He didn't wake the whole forest up and was quite stealthy. i was a bit impressed.

When we almost reached the middle of the forest, Artemis contacted me.

ETA 1 minute. 11 o clock. A wolf will ambush you and take your bow. Follow him.

Great. I will lose the fun.

You won't. The moment i say you return and find a good spot.

Even though i pity Percy, i love seeing him getting his ass handled, especially from a huntress.

We walked a bit more and as she said it all happened quickly.

I started sprinting in the forest. I heard Percy calling for me but soon his voice died down.

You can come. All is ready.

I turned around, climbed a tree and flew like the wind.

I found them pretty easily.

10 wolves, Alpha, Artemis and Percy in the middle.

"Ow...hey guys!" Percy tried talking to the wolves.

I saw Artemis smirking.

"How are you? Good boys and girls. Good wolves!" he continued.

Artemis didn't do a thing.

Alpha started walking towards him.

I saw Percy holding his breath.

But suddenly he changed his behavior.

He calmed and looked at the wolf dead in the eyes.

And they were like communicating.

He is. He uses his skills, lupa trained him to. Artemis spoke to me.

And then something amazing happened.

Alpha let out a howl and each wolf in the pack put their heads between their front legs and lowered themselves, like doing a bow, all apart from Artemis.

They respect him for what he has done in general and that time in the camp with the manticore. Artemis explained yet again.

But Percy was locked in Artemis/wolf, who didn't do a thing.

She growled.

Alpha turned at her and snarled.

Artemis took a step towards Percy.

"There is no use!" he continued. "Your pack and leader, recognized me as an ally. Your next move will let you out of it!" he said with a dead serious tone.

"Reveal yourself!" he finally said.

Artemis simply transformed.

"Very good Perseus!" she said.

"Come on! Again with your testing?" he whined like a baby!

"Stop crying already! You dealt with efficiency with one of the most fierce wolf in the world.

"Who? You?" he asked, incocnelty, almost cracking with laughter.

She narrowed her eyes but i quickly came down to them, to not let the situation escalate, since Artemis would take it as challenge, not a joke.

Percy let it pass and turned to me.

"And of course you were in on this schema!" he exclaimed.

"Ow! You are a clever seal!" i said and Artemis and I burst out laughing, like the wolves.

"Whatever pikachu!" he said and started running!

His nerves!

So! That's it!
