Chapter 17: Epilogue

This is it guys. Thanks for sticking with me through this story. I've learned a lot so I hope my future works will be better. In the future, I may edit the mistakes or possibly even rewrite it. Without further ado, the final chapter.

Third person POV

It had been three days since Freakshow was sent back to prison and Slade delivered to Argus. Valerie was packing a few gifts the Titans had given her and what she had bought for her journey back to Amity. The only thing left for her to do was say her goodbyes.

Starfire was due back from Tamaran today, and Danny had departed for the Ghost Zone a few hours ago. Raven had already hidden her gem in a dimension that was a wasteland. No one would find it buried in the remains of her home.

Starfire had decided just hiding it was a bad idea. So she placed it in the royal vault on Tamaran, telling her bumgorf that it was something precious that required the vault's protection and security.

Danny had taken his to the Far Frozen. Frostbite and his clan already protected the infi map, they could protect one of the gems as well.

"Thanks, Frostbite," Danny thanked him after they placed it in a separate room from the infi map.

"It is no problem, Great One. If there is anything you need, all you have to do is ask."

Danny nodded and flew off, back towards the portal he had added to the Titans lab.

When Danny walked into the ops room, Valerie was saying goodbye to everyone.

"Just in time, Danny," she smiled, enveloping him in a hug.

"Leaving so soon, Val?" he asked.

Valerie nodded, "Now's the time. It'll give me a week with my dad and then I can start college."

"Sounds like a good plan," Robin told her, gently shaking her hand.

"Thanks for your help," Raven told her.

"Be safe, friend Valerie! Please come back and visit," Starfire said.

"For sure, Star," Valerie told her.

"I'll miss you," Dani said.

"I'll miss you too, kiddo. But I'm just a phone call away. Or, who knows, maybe you'll get your cousin's teleportation and see me whenever," she winked.

Dani beamed at her.

"Safe travels," Beast Boy said, hugging her.

Valerie hugged him back.

"Ready?" Raven asked.

Valerie nodded.

Raven opened a portal and Valerie walked forward, before turning.

"Seriously, guys. If you ever need help, the Red Huntress isn't going anywhere."

Everyone nodded their heads in understanding, thanks, and goodbye. Then Valerie stepped into the black and disappeared.

With that done, the Titans split apart. Beast Boy and Cyborg to the couch to play games, Raven to her room to meditate, Robin and Starfire to get ready for their first official date, Dani and Danny went to their respective rooms, trying to get the 'new' feeling out.

It would be the first time Dani had a stable place to stay and Danny's first time settling down since the accident.

So, while life was great for everyone in the tower, there was still one issue to solve. Unfortunately, the only answer to it was time.

The media still viewed Danny Phantom as a menace and criticized the Titans for their decision despite the fact he had helped bring in their biggest villain.

However, that view would change very soon...

Raven heard a soft knock on her door, interrupting her reading.

"Beast Boy, if this is—" she started, opening the door, only to see Danny Fenton.

"Not Beast Boy," he smiled.

"I see," Raven quipped back.

"You busy?" he asked.

"Not really."

"Think you can use your ring again? I know a place I think you'll like and it would be nice to go incognito."

"Give me five..."

A few minutes later, the two were strolling out of the tower.

"Going to tell me what this place is?" Raven asked.

"Well, its kinda two places," Danny said, sheepishly, "ones a café with decent food and herbal tea. The other is a bookstore that kinda specializes in the supernatural."

"You know me so well," Raven said, giving him a small smile.

They had just ordered at the café, when their communicators went off.

Danny groaned before Raven answered.

"Raven, is Danny with you? We have a situation," Robin's voice came from the other end.

"Yes," Raven told him, clearly irritated.

"Control Freak is out and... he's got a friend."

Before anyone could ask who, a nasally voice came through the line, "I, Technus, will use your technology to take over the world!"

"Ugh," Danny groaned, facepalming.

"It's the thought that counts," Raven told him, standing up and going to the bathroom to deactivate the holo-ring and meet the other Titans.

Danny threw down some bills and left, meeting Raven in the alley next to the café.

"Ready?" She asked him.

Two blue-white rings split at his waist in answer. Within seconds, Phantom stood before her.

"Titans, GO!" Danny mocked, grabbing Raven's hand.

Raven smirked and the two vanished in a flash of green.
