Chapter 18

Shizio's POV

The next day I was at the shopping district getting things for the girls and for myself. Thankfully I had a list of what the girls wanted otherwise I'd be totally lost. Rikkun offered to join me but I reassured him that I'd be okay.

I told him that for two reasons:

1. Because it was the truth.

And 2. Because I'd get a lot of eyeballs of me walking around with a wolf that has white fur and yellow eyes, which is a pretty unusual genetic trait for a wolf to have.

Thankfully I was able to help Rikkun get the picture and decided that he'd spend the time training while I was gone.

After an hour or two, I got everything that was on the list and paid for it all, which cost a lot but thankfully I had enough.

"Alright that's everything, now to head back to the girls and Rikkun and-." I stopped mid-sentence when I heard the sound of some girls bickering.

"We don't have enough yen girls so we have to spend it wisely." A voice said. "Ohh ohh let's spend them on sprouts. You can never go wrong with sprouts." Another voice said. "Do you ever get tired of eating sprouts?" A third voice asked. "Sprouts aren't really that bad when you get use to the taste." A fourth and monotone voice said. "Well I'm sick and tired of sprouts! I wanna eat something else, like pizza!" A fifth and child-like voice said.

I grew more and more curious and followed the voices to find five girls.

One of them had a tan complexion, green eyes, long black hair in a ponytail, wore a white shirt, had blue jeans, and black sneakers.

Another one had blonde hair, greenish eyes similar to the tanned girl, wore a full green tracksuit and track shoes to match.

The third girl had brown hair with a pink bow on top and curls at the ends of her hair, green eyes as well, a yellow sweater and a pink skirt with stockings and high heels to go with them.

The fourth girl was the shortest of them all with short black hair, wearing a pink tank-top, a blue skirt, white stockings, and pink sneakers.

The fifth girl had short green eyes, yellow eyes similar to a snake, a red sweater, short black stockings and brown boots. She looked bored and emotionless even when she talked. I didn't consider her to be suffering from depression, just has no emotion.

I watched as the group of girls kept bickering and since it wasn't really my business I decided to start my head back to the girls when I heard a voice behind me.

"Excuse me dear but where do you think you're going?" One of the girls who were bickering said.

I looked and saw that it was the girl with the bow as she walked over to me.

"Judging from that uniform I take it you're from Hanzo Academy. That said, is there a reason you're out shopping and not in school?" The bow girl asked curiously. "Oh. Well if you must know, I was getting my friends some things and now that I have what I need I'm gonna head back." I replied. "Is that so? Well you must have some yen on you so if you don't mind, would you mind getting me and my friends something too? Please~." The girl said, being seductive on the last part as she got close to me, her chest making contact with mine.

I blushed a bit but set her down easy.

"Y'know, I may be a guy, but you don't have to get all seductive on me for a favor. All you have to do is ask." I said. "Oh. Well can you buy me and my friends some things?" The girl asked. "Sure." I simply replied. "Great! What's your name by the way?" The girl then asked. "Shizio Kunada. And you?" I asked back. "Haruka. Come on and meet my friends I'm sure they're curious to meet you." Haruka said and grabbed my wrist and led me over to her friends.

"Haruka, who is this guy?" The tan girl asked. "Girls, this is my new friend Shizio, and he's gonna buy us food." Haruka said with a smile. "Really? Well that's surprising." The blonde girl said. "He's probably just doing it so we can probably done something dirty with him." The short girl said with a hint of anger. "I doubt that, given that he didn't look all that interested in Haruka's little seduction tactic." The green-haired girl said. "Well whatever. If he's gonna pay for our food then I won't complain. Come on let's go." The tan girl said and started walking with me and the other girls following after her.

If I'm being completely honest, Haruka and her friends...remind me of Asuka and my friends back at Hanzo in a way.
