Juvia was excited.

It was rare that the members of Team Natsu would invite her along for a mission, but because Erza came down with a rare flu and Wendy had to stay behind to heal her, Natsu had strongly insisted she come along. Lucy was thrilled too, saying how she missed fighting alongside her.

And her Gray-sama? He just grunted in response. But somehow, she knows he's happy to have her on the team too.

It was a long way to their client's home, and they just climbed the fourth hill by now. It was an unbearably hot day, and everyone was panting and drenched from their sweat. Except for Natsu, the heat didn't seem to bother him as much.

Lucy was the first to crack. "Juvia," she said, out of breath. "Since you're a water mage, do you think you can give us some water? I'm dying of thirst!"

"Of course!" she said. "Juvia would be happy to be of help!"

She directed Lucy to part her lips, and with a graceful extension of her arm, a burst of water flowed from her index finger into Lucy's mouth. By now, Natsu and Gray had stopped dead in their tracks to watch the display in amazement.

A splash of colour tinted Gray's cheeks and he quickly looked away. This seemed…a little erotic for some reason.

Eyes wide with wonder, Natsu exclaimed, "Hey give me some of that too Juvia! I wanna try!"

"Yes!" Juvia smiled, and aimed a spurt of water into Natsu's mouth.

Gray just watched with disbelief as his rival continued to blissfully chug down the water. How dare he take advantage of Juvia's powers?

The dragon slayer finally wiped his mouth with his sleeve when he was done. "Wow Juvia, that was amazing! I've never had such delicious water before!"

"Yea!" Lucy joined in, excited as well. "Somehow it tastes different from the rest. It's so refreshing and pure!"

Juvia felt her heart well up with joy from her friends' praise. It was the first time someone had said such wonderful things about her water. The same water that had been responsible for so much pain in her life. The same water that had driven people away. And now, they were saying that it tastes good.

She gratefully clasped her hands to her chest and said, "But of course! Juvia always takes good care of her water."

Gray crossed his arms with a huff. Now he wants to try it too. And it irked him to no ends that the stupid flame-brain got to drink it before he did. Shouldn't Juvia tend to his needs first? He was her Gray-sama after all, wasn't he?

"Awesome!" Natsu suddenly screamed, pumping his fist into the air. "With Juvia here, we'll never be dehydrated! Hey, can I get some more of that water actually? I'm thirsty agai—"

His sentence was cut off as Gray's fist connected with his jaw.

"You've had enough for today, flame-brain!" He yelled as a vein popped in his head.

"What did you say you fucking stripper?!" Natsu threw a punch back and before long, a full-blown fist fight ensued.

Lucy shook her head in amusement and watched as Juvia cheered on her Gray-sama from the side, oblivious to the ice mage's (one of many) jealous outbursts.
