Hiya! I know this is sooooooo late! But I've had some real life stuff that's kept me away. But I'm back now and I'm hoping that I'll be able to update a lot more frequently. Anyway I hope you all enjoy this update!

It was two days later and true to their promises to one another and everything was actually going in there favor. There had been no sign of Cora. Jefferson and Regina were preparing to move into the mansion since things were silent and calm. Belongings had already been packed and now it was up to Regina to add the rooms that she wanted and then use her magic to transfer Grace and Jefferson's belongings to the mansion. She walked along the upstairs hallway, a finger brushing against the wall as she considered just what she wanted. She could faintly hear Jefferson down in the kitchen keeping the girls busy with their snack while and she couldn't help the fond smile that came to her face. She couldn't wait to finish up so she could join them down in the kitchen. But right now she needed to focus on what she was doing with their house. The house already had the master bedroom, Henry's room and then two guestrooms. Those guest rooms would be turned in Aurelia's bedroom and Grace's bedroom. But Regina wanted to add another guest room, make the playroom bigger and expand the master bedroom as well. Jefferson was coming with his own wardrobe so their closet was going to need an upgrade. With that new floorplan in mind she goes to the middle of the hallway and focuses on inner eye on the floorplan and then calls forth her magic. The spell seems to wrap around the entire house for a few seconds before it settles and it's like the house breathes a sigh of relief as it's expanded.

Before she could call out to the girls she could hear the sounds of little feet rushing up the stairs. She turned just in time to be engulfed by two little girls. "I was just about to call you guys up here to see your rooms."

Aurelia could barely contain herself as she looked up to her mother. "We felt it! I felt it! It was all tingly and it was sploosh!" the four year old let go of Regina long enough to make an exploding motion with her hands before she was taken over by giggles.

The brunette woman raises a brow at this and cast a glance towards Jefferson once he joined them upstairs and he merely shrugged his shoulders since he had no idea what was going on. One moment his daughters were sitting at the island stuffing their little faces with grapes and the next they were running up the stairs.

"The magic!" Grace exclaims with a laugh as she smiles at her mother. "I...we...we felt it when you fixed the rooms with your magic. It was like..it was like these butterflies in my stomach -"

"The tinglies!" Aurelia interjects with a laugh.

"Yes those and it was..it was really weird but cool. Does that mean we have magic? If we could feel your magic?"

Regina's eyes widened comically wide as she looks from Aurelia and then to Grace. "You felt the magic I used?" She glances towards Jefferson before she was focused back on their girls. "I figured you two had some sort of magic abilities this only confirms it." She knew that she talked to the girls about magic before but it had honestly slipped from her mind over the last few days but now it was right at the front of her thoughts. She knew she had used magic in front of them over at Jefferson's home and she wondered if they felt those smaller spells as well. She figured that would have to be an answer she found out later because she had bigger things to worry about at the moment. The girls were obviously magically inclined and it was only a matter of time before her mother figured that out.

Jefferson could read each of Regina's rapid emotions as they flashed in her eyes. He moves forward and placed a gentle hand on her lower back. "Breathe, little queen." his voice soft as he kissed the side of her head.

"Right of course." Regina took in a breath and couldn't deny the calm she felt after she wrapped in his arms. "How about we look at your rooms and then we can talk more about the magic." She had questions for her daughters and she had a few things to figure out before asked them. She stepped out of the hatter's hold and offered her hands so her daughter's could take them. As their small hands eagerly grabbed her own her smile only seemed to grow and she guides them towards the first door. It had a name plate with the name Aurelia on it in golden cursive. "This is your room, Auri."

The four year old let out a squeal as she reached up to trace the letters of her name. "Wow. My own room. I only had a blanket on the floor with the bears." She missed the pained look that her parents shared over her head since she was far more focused with pushing open the door and getting a good look at her bedroom. The walls were painted a pastel yellow, the hardwood floor a dark brown like the other bedrooms. Her dresser and nightstand were also a dark brown with golden swirls painted on them. The little girl giggles as she rushes forward to her yellow toy box and starts going through her toys. Honestly, the most important thing in her room besides her comfy looking bed with the pastel yellow and lavender comforter. The walls had painted flowers of various colors and sizes and there was also a small bookcase that had a few books already there! There was so much to explore she didn't even know where to start!

Jefferson looked around the room with wide eyes that were slowly filling with tears. He moved to her bed and picked up the stuffed rabbit with one hand while the other stroked the empty picture frame.

"I wanted to put a picture of us in it but we don't have one yet." Regina replies softly as she moves towards him. She swallowed thickly as she continues. "Well, what do you think? We still need to go shopping for more toys and books and of course clothing but I gave her a nice starting point."

Jefferson turns to his queen and offers a bright grin. "I love it, Regina. She loves it. Look at her." He nods towards their daughter who had dragged Grace to bookcase to show her the Madeline books she had. He places down the stuffed rabbit in favor of wrapping his arms around Regina and holding her close. "You did a great job, little queen."

Regina finds herself leaning back into Jefferson with a growing smile on her face. She breathed a soft sigh of relief as some of her nerves escaped her. She still had to show Grace her room so there were still nerves settled in her gut. "Thank you."

Aurelia smiled brightly at her sister as she placed down her book. "Let's see what mama did with your room Gracie."

Grace was just as excited to see her room but she was doing her best to hide it. She was the big sister so she had to seem a little bit more mature. But she eagerly stood up and held out her hand for her sister to take and once she did she guides her over to their parents. "Can we see my room now?"

"Course we can." Jefferson said with a bright smile as he picked up Aurelia and carried her out of the room. Behind him Grace and Regina grabbed hands and followed the others outside of the room, down the hall and to the door that had the name plate with Grace's named spelled out in pastel pink cursive.

Grace stepped forward and let her fingers brush against her name before she opened the door and got her first look at her room. "Oh." her voice soft. Her walls were painted a pastel pink and she had the same furniture as her sister but instead of a dark brown it was white. Her dollhouse was pushed into a corner, her bookcase and even desk had been set up too. She moved further into the room to touch the pink blanket that rested on her bed before she picked up her stuffed rabbit. "I love it." her voice soft. She turned around to look at her parents with tears in her eyes. "It's perfect."

A soft breath of relief escaped from the woman's lips nor the smile that soon came to her face. "I'm glad you like, Grace. When we go shopping you can get more clothes, toys, books and whatever else you need. That goes for the both of you." She adds as Aurelia popped her head up from behind the dollhouse. "I've also enlarged the playroom as well. The tea set and all the games are in there." She wanted to make sure everything was perfect for her girls. She owed that to them for being out of their lives for years. They seemed to love everything so far and she wanted nothing more than spoil them, to try and make up for their years apart but so she knew earning their love wouldn't be as easy as making something with magic. She learned that the hard way with Henry. She was going to do this right.

"We can we goes shopping, mama? I wanna get more dolls! And I want a dollhouse like Gracie too. Can I have a dollhouse?" Her lashes fluttering as she hops over to her parents and bounces on the balls of her feet.

"Once we get settled in we can go shopping, bunny." Jefferson promises as he ruffles her curls. "And I'll see about getting you a dollhouse." He adds as he winks at her. "Now. How about we go back downstairs and finish our snack and perhaps afterwards the queen will grace us with a story?"

"Pleaseeee!"

"Please, mom?"

Both girls focusing their attention on the woman and Regina already knew that she wouldn't have been able to deny them but them adding in those puppy dog eyes only confirmed it. She was surely going to be in trouble when the girls realized that their mother was a bit of a pushover. But right now it was fine because she owed them the world and more. "Alright. We can have a story before someone takes a nap." she tickles Aurelia's stomach as she lifts the girl into her arms and carries her out of the room.

"But I'm a big girl, mama. I don't need naps." She protests as she's carried down the stairs and into the kitchen. She assumed that being four years old meant no more naps.

"Sorry, my heart. But even big girls need naps." Regina replies as she places the girl down on the booster seat she had gotten for her and then pushed the plate off fruit back in front of her. She grins as Grace settles beside her and Jefferson sits across from them beside Aurelia. "But after naptime I think I'm going to need two certain someones to help me with dinner. I was thinking pizza."

Grace and Aurelia share a look between them before Aurelia is squealing with her mouth full of grapes. "Me!"

"Careful." Jefferson chuckles as he rubs her back not wanting her to choke.

"We can help, mama. Can we make the pizza from scratch!" The ten year old is eager to please and even more eager to spend time with her mother.

"Is there any other way to make pizza? You two can create your own pizza while your papa and I make one for us to share. How does that sound?"

"Great!" "Awesome." Is the chorus of replies that is received at the idea. The family then spent time together eating their snack and speaking with each other. Gentle teasing amongst the adults and the girls eagerly chatting about the pizza they were going to make together. Soon enough their plates were cleared and Regina was guiding the girls to the bathroom to clean their hands and then up to the master bedroom so she could read them a chapter from Mary Poppins book that Aurelia tugged off her bookshelf.

Regina found herself being cuddled with both her girls on either side of her as she started her reading. She hadn't gotten very far into the book before she realized that Aurelia had fallen asleep. She marked the page since she knew the girl hated being behind and then continued reading the rest of the chapter to Grace. By time she finished the second she realized that Grace had also fallen asleep. She wasn't entirely sure how long she spent just staring at the two of them but she didn't move until Jefferson made a soft noise to get her attention and then motioned for her to follow him. She raises a brow but she untangles herself from their daughters before she follows him out into the hallway. "What is it?"

"I was thinking we could spend a bit of time together while the house is quiet." He offered his queen his hand and couldn't help the bright smile that came to his face when she took it.

"Of course." With that being said he guided her down to the living room where he had set up two glasses filled with sparkling apple cider. She raises a brow once more but she picked up the glass and got herself comfortable on the couch. "What's going on, Jefferson?"

"What? I can't do something nice for my favorite queen?" He responds as he sits down beside her and gets comfortable. "I just wanted to spend some time with you, alone time I should say. Before the children are back up and requesting all the time with their mama." The little smile that comes to Regina's face makes his heart flutter in his chest and he moves in close to her and wraps his arm about her shoulder so he could bring her in close. "I'm sure we have a lot more serious things to discuss such as the girls and their magic, your insufferable mother, the bears situation." his eyes narrowing as he thinks back to the comment their youngest had made about the people that had cared, or lack thereof, during the curse. "But right now I want to bask in this moment. All of us together in our home. It's what we wanted since we before Grace was born and here we are."

Tears welled in Regina's eyes as she listened to him because he was right. She could remember laying beside him in their little hideaway. His hand on her growing bump and their whispered conversations of having a family together and being away from all of their troubles. And here they were years, and years, later with two daughters in a realm far more advanced than either had experienced and though they had the issues that had already been mentioned they were together and happy and at the moment it's all that mattered to Regina. "And here we are." She agrees with a soft smile, sniffling as she wipes at her eyes.

Jefferson wraps his arms around his queen and hugs her tight as he presses the softest of kisses to her head. "Indeed. The drama and trouble can wait for another day because right now everything is fine and that's all that matters."

The queen curls into him and merely nods her head because today she would push her troubles aside. She will hug and kiss her girls when they wake up, listen to 80s music as they work on dinner together, establish a bath and bed routine and then spend the night curled in the arms of her lover. All of this is the only thing that matter to the queen right at this moment. Tomorrow her mother could arrive with the force of ten dark ones but that would an issue for tomorrow because the only thing that mattered today was the way it felt to be wrapped in Jefferson's arms and the love that seemed to radiate from him and their girls.

A.N: I know last chapter I said that there was gonna be some angst and some regal believer stuff but I'm going in another direction. Nothing too radically different but the drama has been pushed back a couple of chapters. Anyways hope you all enjoyed it! Review and tell me what you think!
