The Chair

Lightning was slowly going insane. She should never have agreed to let Tifa do this. Handcuffed to a chair, she could only watch as Tifa moved in time to the music that drifted through the empty bar. It was a slow, meandering rhythm, the musical equivalent of a stream winding its way through the hills and gullies of a lonely landscape to carve valleys in its wake.

It might take a million years, but the stream would eventually grind its way through the rock and soil, delving ever deeper, leaving strata full of memories behind. The music was the same, only Tifa was the river and Lightning was the rock.

Oh, Lightning might not go mad immediately, but each moment she watched Tifa move to the music only pushed her closer to the edge. The chair creaked, and the handcuffs went taut as she fought for control. She had promised not to move or speak, and the effort of keeping herself still and silent was more exhausting than any fight she'd ever been in.

Perfect.

As cliche as it sounded, that was how Tifa looked to her. There was not a single thing about the other woman she would change. From the deep burgundy of her eyes, to the generous swell of her chest, and the captivating curve of her hips, Tifa entranced her. The soft lighting of the bar only added to Tifa's allure as the faint shimmer of sweat caught the light on the dark-haired woman's long, toned limbs.

But it was Tifa's eyes that were undoing Lightning.

Not once had Tifa looked away from her. Instead, Tifa had held Lightning's gaze the entire time. Her gaze burned, and each time Tifa moved, each time she shifted to draw attention to another part of her body, her gaze was there, watching, waiting, knowing that Lightning couldn't look away.

Tifa knew exactly what she was doing to Lightning, and she revelled in it.

With a small, secretive smile that promised so much, Tifa walked forward until she was just shy of touching Lightning. She didn't say a word. She didn't have to. The look in her eyes was enough. Instead, she leaned forward, so close that Lightning could feel Tifa's breath on her lips, and then, for the very first time, she broke eye contact and turned to walk away.

The growl that left Lightning's throat might not have sounded entirely human although it was doubtful that Tifa heard it over the chair breaking and the handcuffs clattering into the counter. Lightning knew exactly how handcuffs worked, and she knew the exact combination of skill and brute strength needed to break out of them.

Tifa turned, and Lightning all but tackled her. The pair of them tumbled to the floor, and Lightning ended up on top, chest heaving, looking down at the other woman. Tifa's lips curled up into an impish smile.

"What happened to staying in the chair?" Tifa asked.

"Fuck the chair," Lightning hissed.

"Fuck the chair?" Tifa's smiled widened, and she tugged Lightning down and dragged her into a kiss that had Lightning moaning and tugging at her clothes. When they finally parted, Lightning's cheeks were flushed, and her eyes were dark with desire. "How about fucking me?"

Aerith tilted her head to one side. "So… uh… what happened in here last night? Was there a brawl?"

It did not escape her notice that while Tifa was all but glowing, Lightning was doing her very best to look at anything except the devastated bar room. One of the tables had been smashed to kindling, two chairs had been broken, and there appeared to be bits of clothing hanging from one of the ceiling fans.

"Not exactly," Tifa said. "Although someone did lose their temper."

Aerith nodded sagely. "Ah, so you basically got Lightning hot and bothered enough to go fully sexy psycho mode, right?"

Lightning made a choking sound.

"Yes," Tifa said. Her gaze caught and held Lightning's, and the pink-haired woman suddenly found it very hard to breathe. "And I plan on doing it again soon."

Author's Notes

As always, I do not own Final Fantasy. I am not making any money off of this either.

Yay! More Lightning x Tifa stuff. I'm going to be totally upfront here. This entire snippet was an excuse to work in the lines involving the chair and Tifa. Honestly, I can totally see Tifa trolling Lightning like this until she loses control. Despite the damage, I think Tifa would agree that it was more than worth it. It might not be the most popular ship in the Lightning navy, but I'll continue to crew the Lightning x Tifa frigate, all while captaining the Lightning x Fang aircraft carrier.
