Days turned into weeks as time passed. After his first session with Fon, Tsuna continued to work with the other and found himself able to breathe easier. He wasn't sure if it was cause' he was training his flames, or if it was the fact that Fon was mixing his with his own. Either way, he was glad that he was able to keep his flame on longer, even if he did grow restless from holding it for too long. Over the course of three weeks his relationship between Fon and Reborn grew, even though the Hitman was still a bit tense at times, the other liked to tease him over trivial things to rile him up. With the other Arcobalenos' it was… a bit odd if he could say. Lal was somewhat softer towards him even if she didn't admit it, talking to him once n' awhile before their missions started. Verde and Viper were neutral towards him, not really paying attention but made remarks or at least spoke bluntly to him if he was concerned over something.

The relationship he felt strained the most with was Skull, the stuntman had avoided him like a plague ever since the incident and refused to speak to him if it wasn't important. Tsuna didn't want to really show it but it hurt to be ignored. He knew clouds were aloof beings and stayed to themselves but even then he knew this was too much.

So, when he walked into the convenience store and felt familiar flames, he knew he needed to stop this avoidance-thing before it was too late. Call him selfish but he didn't want a strained relationship with any of his soon-to-be elements, the thought of any of them hating him and disliking him left a bitter taste in his mouth.

The small bell tied to the door ringed as Tsuna walked in, he smiled towards the cashier's direction when he heard a soft welcome. He had recently felt the urge to buy snacks—which were rarely in his home— and decided that he'd let himself indulge in his home with food until the next mission happened. He knew if Fon found out he'd be scolded but decided it was worth the risk. Letting out a soft breath, he walked through the aisles only to paused for a brief moment as he felt familiar flames, the same ones that seemed to recoil against his presence whenever he was near. He let his flames guide him towards the other and stopped as he was in-front of it.

"Skull?"

He spoke softly as to not frighten him but tensed when he felt the others aura recoil and cocoon itself. He heard shuffling and could faintly see the outline of the others figure, his body tense as if he was about to run.

"Wait, please- "

When he felt the cloud move, he reached out and held onto his arm, his grip was light but loose enough to where if the Skull truly wanted to run away from him, he could. He heard a deep sigh before a gloved hand engulfed his, "Tsuna- "the other started, hesitant onto what to say.

"I- "Skull cut himself off with a sharp breath, his hand tightening around Tsuna's. Tsuna was about what was wrong before he felt it, hostile auras. Before he could ask what was happening, Skull grabbed his hand and quickly pulled him along.

"We can't stay here," was all he said in a hushed-determined tone. The small sky could only let himself be dragged along and run with the cloud to guide them to safety. When they heard distant shouts the older couldn't help but curse, quickly he maneuvered them both between the alleys, avoiding bumping into dumpsters and other things that clogged their way. Tsuna took a deep breath and let his senses pinpoint on the people chasing them, they weren't flame active which was great, but with him being a sky even those without abilities were still able to sense him. Biting his lip, he knew it would be harder for them to avoid enemies with him there but he would do his best to help avoid any bloodshed that would happen today.

After running a few more blocks, Skull tugged him into another more compact alley and sighed in relief when he saw a small crevice that would fit both of them. Tsuna yelped softly as he was pushed back against the wall, his face burning slightly when he felt Skull fully press against him. They waited with baited breath as Skull let his flames cover over the sky's, hiding his flames from others who might walk by. As they stayed there for a moment, they both somewhat relaxed but immediately tensed when they heard rushed footsteps, "Where the fuck did they go?!" was all Tsuna heard before the shouts faded away.

"I can't sense them anymore," Tsuna whispered, his breath warmed back from being pressed into leather. He flinched slightly when he felt something resting on his head but sighed as an arm pulled him closer. The two stood there for a moment basking in each-others warmth, Skull looked at the wall before him blankly, his eyes flickering in contemplation.

"I'm" his voice started, hushed against soft brown hair. "I never meant to say those things to you, ya' know." His breath felt warm against his head, Tsuna just bit his lip and nuzzled himself closer.

"I know that doesn't excuse what I've done, what I said wasn't right and I don't know what came over me to say those things to you. Maybe I'm just so used to just dismissing everyone so I ended up doing it to you."

Skull let out a tired laugh, shifting so his hands cradled Tsuna's head, tilting it up. Cool leather pressed against his skin, his breath hitched as the smell of mint filled his senses, warm breath covering his own.

"You're supposed to be my sky, but how can I let you if I keep pushing you away. I'll admit I was selfish, wanting to ignore you to enjoy my freedom longer. I've… I've heard some sky's tie down their elements by force, especially clouds, I didn't want that for me. But it was wrong of me to judge you before I met you, I thought you'd be the same as the rest. I thought you'd hurt us, hurt me, but even now I see you struggling- hurting- trying to come into terms with your own flames."

He looked up at the lined silhouette, wishing he could see the others expression wanting to know how troubled he looked so he could help. But sometimes actions speak louder than words, so Tsuna reached up and took Skull's hands into his own. The cloud user hummed lightly when he felt a thumb rub against his knuckles.

"I… don't know if you'll ever forgive me and I understand if you don't but I just want to say I'm sorry for making you feel less than what you are. Tsuna, I don't exactly know your whole back story- "he laughed lightly "- but just know you're doing fine even if you doubt yourself, I can see you trying and that's okay."

His eyes burned with forming tears as he bit his lip. When Skull saw this he panicked "Ah- uh shit, um I'm sorry fuck- "arms cut off his panicked state as Tsuna wrapped himself around the cloud. His arms curled around the others neck and sighed when he felt arms hold his waist. His body trembled as he continued to cry and Skull just rubbed his back soothingly.

"Ya' know-" he tittered "- I half expected you to slap me at some point." Tsuna's shoulders shook and slightly shook his head. "I- I would never." His voice was hoarse and clogged, his laugh coming in slight pops from crying.

"I-I'm just so glad you don't hate me; I wouldn't know what I'd do I- "

Skull frowned and pressed against Tsuna tighter, "I'm sorry, I never wanted you to feel this way. I… I wish I could make it up to you somehow."

"You can," he mumbled into the others jacket, sniffling as he pressed his cheek onto the others skin. How, he whispered back, his breath warm against the crook of Tsuna's neck leaving a tingling sensation. Slowly he moved back from the other and looked up through his tear soaked lashes, the lines all blurry from crying.

"You can buy me cake," Tsuna's watery but heartfelt smile broke through Skull and he found himself hugging the small sky again. "Of course," he repeated over and over, lifting Tsuna up slightly to just feel the warmth he once rejected.

Tsuna laughed lightly and felt warm, his body tingling slightly from the cloud flames hovering over him.

After awhile they pulled away, Tsuna giggled before speaking again "I'm uh, sorry I got snot and drool over your jacket."

"It's fine, I'll clean it later ah! Here- " he fumbled with the pocket of his jacket, taking out a handkerchief and handing it to Tsuna. "For your eyes, just um don't rub em', your contacts- "

A smiled curled his lips and Tsuna just laughed as he dabbed his eyes, shoulders shaking slightly as he cleaned the rest of his face. He felt the others doting comforting.

"Thank you, Skull."

"No problem."

A/N: Hey! It's been awhile since I last updated, I didn't really know if I would ever update again since I fell out of writing. But I randomly felt tempted to revise this whole story and make a new chapter so I did! (reading back on y'alls comments also helped!) If there are a few grammar errors whoops, It's uh been awhile but hey I tried. Also, since Arco27 won everyone will get equal screen time w/ Tsuna. Thanks for reading and until next time!

Side note: For those who don't want to re-read the revised chaps there's not much of a difference... I think. The only changes I've made are toning down the Arcobaleno conversations in CH 2/4 I sorta ended up re-writing CH 4 technically since it was bothering me. Another thing I changed is Tsuna's headphones, it's not -well- headphones anymore, it's now a small earpiece he uses in his right ear but it functions all the same with showing him outlines/grid versions of things and light silhouettes. I also changed Tsuna's occupation, instead of being a hacker I made him an informant, sorta- kinda the same thing with getting information but since Tsuna's a sky it's easier to draw people in to get information, he still does assassinations if he really needs to but doesn't do it often.
