Roxy opened her eyes to the sounds of faint clattering. She sighed and blinked sleepily.

"Eggsy?" she mumbled, stretching her sore limbs. There was no answer. She huffed a breath and looked at her boyfriend's side of the bed.

The sheets were rumpled, still warm, and JB was snoring peacefully on the pillow. Roxy gave the pug an affectionate rub behind the ears and climbed out of bed.

Yawning, she headed for the bathroom to brush her teeth and comb down her epic case of bed head.

Roxy prodded gently at the bruise that was yellowing against her jaw. It didn't hurt much anymore; it just looked bad. With a sigh, she tugged on a thin cardigan. It was early spring and there was still a nip in the air.

It didn't help that their new home was incredibly drafty.

An involuntary smile made its way onto Roxy's face.

*Their* home.

Both of their names were on the paperwork and they both paid down the mortgage.

Roxy felt like a right proper adult. What with her job, her boyfriend, and her new home.

"Ow," she muttered, whacking her hip into the stack of boxes piled in the hallway.

Well, okay, maybe not a *complete* grown up yet.

"Eggsy?" Roxy called out as she trotted down the stairs.

"In 'ere, love," he shouted back.

Roxy followed the sound of his voice and the scent of coffee to the kitchen.

Eggsy's back was to her, sweatpants hung low on his hips, as he rummaged through a cardboard box.

"What're you doing?" she asked, stepping into the kitchen and resting her hands against Eggsy's bare lower back.

"Lookin' for mugs," he replied, using one hand to reach back and caress Roxy's wrist.

"Mmm," Roxy hummed, "Did you check the box marked 'kitchen'?"

She pushed off of Eggsy's back and started her own search for the mugs.

Eggsy scoffed, "'Course I did. No mugs. It's a mess in 'ere, innit?"

"Yeah, it really is," Roxy looked around, yawning a little.

She continued, "We probably should've been a little more organized in our packing."

"Ta be fair," Eggsy lifted a frying pan from the box he was looking through, "Packin' 'appened between missions. Kinda busy, weren't we?"

Roxy shrugged, "Still."

"Ah, jus' keep lookin'," Eggsy grinned, sidestepping Roxy to get to another box.

Roxy and Eggsy poked through the boxes for a few more minutes, until the coffee machine beeped, breaking the comfortable silence and signaling that their brew was ready.

"Any luck?" Roxy looked up, bits of hair falling in front of her eyes.

"Nope," Eggsy shrugged, but held up a creamer jug and an individual sized ramekin, "Think these'll do?"

"In a pinch," Roxy said, happily grabbing the coffee pot and pouring. She accepted the ramekin and leaned against the counter, sipping contentedly at the hot brew.

Eggsy looked at her over the rim of the creamer jug, "Wonder where the mugs went."

Roxy shrugged, "Doesn't matter," she reached down at scratched at Athena's ears, "This is much funnier."

Snorting into his coffee, Eggsy pushed off from the counter and looped his free arm around Roxy's waist, "We're gonna 'ave to find the mugs sooner or later. Merlin'll have a fit if he 'as to drink tea outta a bowl."

"We can start right now," Roxy grinned, knowing that the next thing out of Eggsy's mouth would be a suggestion to ignore the boxes and christen the kitchen counters instead.

They christened the living room floor as well.

A/N: Hi guys! This one is short, but I wanted to post something, since I haven't written anything in a long time. I've been going through some personal things, so writing has been the last thing only mind. But this one was fun to write since it was so light and fluffy.

Side note: it's Fanfic Writer's Appreciation Day on Tumblr, so I'd love it if you guys dropped me a few reviews or prompts. Either here or at my Tumblr (thewintersoldierdisaster) would be lovely!

Thanks!
