Justin walked into his old office, his laptop in hand, and a notebook in the other. Scooting the seat back, and dusting off the old table, he opened his laptop, and sat down.

With a small sigh, the room began to shift and change. Old business books began to fade from existence, as books of literature began to take their place.

A small notebook labeled "Story Ideas" appeared on a shelf. Papers filled the book to the brim, a small lock keeping it all together.

As the room began to finish transforming, a smile began to form on Justin's face.

For the first time, in a long time, Justin felt truly happy. No longer lost, excitement filled his heart once more.

With nothing left to stall, Justin began to type.

So, it's been quite some time, hasn't it? I bet no one was expecting to see this update, and I'm sure many are disappointed by the fact that this is just another author's note. But I felt like it was necessary.

So it's been nearly a year since I actually updated to the story itself, and that time span will only continue to grow.

But who said that's the end for me? For the past year, I've been... lost, I believe is the best way to describe it. I wasn't happy, and I knew it. Business and Marketing was never for me. It doesn't interest me and it certainly doesn't entertain me, and the military would have been way too brutal for me. At least as I am now.

So I started to think. About what made me happy. About what always brought a smile to my face. And then I realized, it was my stories. All my life, I've been creating plots. From simple childhood games with my brother and sister, to creating an entire world with my imagination.

Writing the Ultimate Betrayal Series, seeing people enjoy my story. It brought me joy. Sure, the story was -incredibly- flawed, but it was my first taste to actually posting stories. And so, here we are, once more.

I love creating characters, and I liked where I was going with the Ultimate Betrayal. So, with a fully fleshed out plot, and characters, I have a new story, focusing entirely on Original Character heroes; Micheal, Caleb, Aubree, and Abel! Their personalities are overall the same, and the events that will take place revolve around the same plot as well. If you enjoyed what I was doing towards the end, as well as the prospect of making well fleshed characters, then I highly encourage you to check out 'The Star of Genzu'.

It's been some time since I actually wrote, so I'm a little rusty, but I'm doing my best to pay heavy attention to detail. I truly hope you enjoy, and in the mean time, be on the look out for some shorter 'One shot' stories of such.

A small smirk escaped Justin's lips, his eyes giddy with mischief.

Oh, did I also mention that this story is officially being revived? Yep. Updates will be slow, but each time I do upload, chapters will be long and fleshed out in their entirety.

I may have failed at the beginning, but the story is a testament to my growth over the years. And I know you guys did enjoy the story, and it wracks me with pain the more I think about it.

Justin laughed, hoping that the surprise would be enough to startle some readers.

What? I said the time span would grow before an update came, but I didn't say it would never happen, now did I?

With a sparkle, Justin's small room began to expand, creating a full living space for him to enjoy.

I've finally realized how much I love Writing. I love writing Essays. I love Literature, I love the Fine Arts, but I've always been afraid. Well, I'm afraid no longer. This is but the start of my career. Expect to see small one shots revolving new and interesting characters in this world. And I intend to expand my writings to original stories as well.

I have so many ideas, and I'm so very excited to show them to the world. By the time I'm done, I'll have a portfolio so large, I'll look like a veteran! For now though, I'll stick to only fanfiction, until I can safely secure my works online without risk of thievery.

Don't forget to stay in touch, friends, as I've finally found my purpose in this world; to make people smile.

Stay Awesome, you beautiful beautiful people.

With that, Justin hit Publish, and then went right back to his Word Documents.

He had a lot he wanted to do.
