"For The Hot Rod"

Disclaimer: I do not own anything associated with World Wrestling Entertainment and it's wrestlers. The World Wrestling Entertainment, the wrestlers and their likeliness are owned by the chairman, Vince McMahon. Anyway, this is my poem dedicated to the late great "Rowdy" Roddy Piper, may he rest in peace.

"Rowdy" Roddy Piper

Greatest Scot of all time

No matter if he was treated like a hero

Or a villainous form of slime

He was crazy and nutty like a squirrel

Always willing to get down

Hot Rod was always the real deal

He wasn't no pitiful clown

Piper's Pit was his possession

It's more than some honorable mentions

Just when they think they have all the answers

The Hot Rod changes the questions

From hitting Jimmy Snuka with a coconut

To shaving a midget's hair like Mr. T

No other man could escape Piper's wrath

Just like Adrian Adonis's hair at WrestleMania III.

He proved he was all business

In both the ring and the big screen

Whether with a gun or his bare fists

He always knew how to get 'em in the spleen

Piper was painted half-black at WrestleMania VI

He knew he ain't no joke

Much funny when at WrestleMania V

He blew Morton Downey Jr. with a lot of smoke

Although he never captured the brass ring

It didn't bother him that much there

He became IC Champ in his career

As well as being Tag champs with Ric Flair

Roddy was awesome in They Live

Where he fought disgusting alien scum

Where his main motto in life

Is to kick ass and chew bubblegum

Even though he'd be out of gum

His fighting attitude remained the same

Which was why the cool things he did in his life

Put him in the WWE Hall of Fame

Now he's long gone from us

We really shouldn't whine and cry

It's a time of celebration and memory

Of a legend playing his bagpipes in the sky

He's a villain and hero all in one

He will never be some ordinary fool

If there's one thing we'll always learn from the Hot Rod

It's that he was rowdy before rowdy was cool!

I gotta admit, I had a brave and heavy heart writing this. No one will ever match what Hot Rod's done. It's like they say, "Often imitated, never duplicated". We should all remember that.

Anyway, feedbacks are welcome! Until next time, this is UltimateWarriorFan4Ever signing off! And one more, R.I.P. Hot Rod! You will be missed!
