Truth

Rangiku is looking at him and he can't help but shift uncomfortably under her gaze. It's intense but the knowing smile that graced her lips has him frowning in confusion.

"Was it something I said?" He doesn't know if he wants her to answer.

She shakes her head and slings her arm over his shoulder, "It's so obvious you don't want her to leave." She teases, her eyes filled with mirth, "You really do love her, don't you?"

He stays silent for a long while, his gaze returning to where Karin once stood. "Yes." He says, voice quiet and raw, "I do."

"For what it's worth," She continued, voice sincere, "I hope this time around you're finally content with your decision."
