Mount Justice

Few days have passed since the Saiyan's first mission and let's just say things haven't been so good for the League and the Team. The attack Raquel had taken has caused to be in a coma as everyone else was recovering from their injuries and grew worried for her with each passing day. But since she's been injured, Ezcar hasn't been at the base which has everyone concerned now that he doesn't have the inhibitor collar to block his power and won't be able to track him. The whole league has been trying to locate him but no luck, but since no one was able to track him everyone has been on guard if the Saiyan decided to attack again. They even checked the fighters at Kame House but they didn't know where he was at and the past few days nothing happened or no signs of activity by the Saiyan. Right now Batman, Green Arrow we're at the Base looking at the holo-computer trying to find a clue on where Ezcar is until Black Canary walked up to them.

"How Raquel?" Green Arrow asked.

"She's still in a coma and her vitals are stable, we just need to be patient until she wakes up." She said before turning her attention to the holo-computer. "Still no sign of Ezcar?"

"No." Batman simply said as he continued to search and since the Saiyan disappeared, he's been constantly trying to find him and grew irritated.

"I'm sure he'll turn up eventually." Green Arrow said place his hand and the Dark Knight's shoulder.

"Let's just hope he doesn't do anything that'll be a problem for us," Batman said as the two agreed with him. "He already caused us a problem by killing the attackers before we can question them and I'm still figuring out what their motives were."

"What if he went off world already?" Green Arrow asked.

"Impossible, his space pod is too damaged to fly, and not only we have it but we also have all his equipment." Batman said.

"You never know, for all we know he has a spare space pod or something." Green Arrow said.

"If he had a spare don't you think he would've used it when he crashed here." Black Canary said.

"Good point." He simply turned his attention back to the screen. "And you checked that place 'Kame House' right?"

"Yes, we asked some questions and they haven't seen him or know where he's at, I have League Members searching for him." Batman said.

"And what about the Team?" Green Arrow asked.

"They're still recovering but they too have been searching for the Saiyan, but like no luck yet." Black Canary said until their attention was turned to the Zeta-Tube as it turned on.

"Recognize Icon 20." The computer said as the Zeta-Tube glowed and Icon emerged from it and walked towards them.

"Hey Icon, any luck finding Ezcar?" Green Arrow asked as he sighed.

"No, I haven't. How's Raquel?" He asked.

"She's still unconscious but her vitals are stable." Black Canary said.

"At least she's recovering, I'm going to see her if you don't mind." He said walking past them.

"Poor Guy." Black Canary softly said watching him walked away before turning to Batman. "Anyway, me and Oliver are going head out if that alright with you?"

"That's fine, just keep an open eye." Batman said as they nodded and the two left through the Zeta-Tube as he then sighed in frustration and pinched the bridge of his nose before going back on his search for the young Saiyan.

-A few Hours Later-

3:42 p.m. ET

Raquel slowly opened her eyes as she examined the area to see she was in the med bay until her eyes set on her mentor, Icon who was sitting next to her reading a book. She slowly sat up as Icon looked up from his book and saw her getting up and quickly put his book down and ran up to her.

"Easy there Raquel, you need rest." He said as she flinch and gripped her lower abdomen as she slowly sat up.

"Ugh… what happened?" She groaned in pain as she sat up and leaned against the wall with the help of her mentor.

"You were hurt pretty bad from the blast you took from your mission and were knocked out in a coma for a few days." Icon said as she rubbed her head feeling a small headache.

"A-And how is everyone?" She asked.

"They're all fine, everyone's been on edge since Ezcar broke free from the inhibitor collar and ran off shortly after the mission." He said.

"Does… Does anyone know where he's at?" Raquel asked worriedly as Icon sighed.

"No, no one is able to locate him. We believe he's hiding somewhere and half the League and some of your friends are trying to find him before he could wreak havoc." He said but she hopes Ezcar is all right and hope he doesn't do anything reckless.

"Oh… Is everyone here?" She asked.

"Yes, there all relaxing. Do you want me to go get them for you?"

"That'd be nice." She said with a small smile as Icon smirked before leaving the med bay and a few minutes later all of the Team ran into the room and ran up to her.

"Raquel! Are you okay?" Megan asked worriedly as she chuckled seeing them worried for her.

"Yes, I'm fine. Thanks for worrying about me." She said smiling a bit.

"You're our friend, of course, we're going to worry." Megan said.

"We're just glad that you weren't severely hurt." Zatanna said as Raquel was having a conversation with everyone catching up these past few days before asking the serious question.

"So… there's no sign on Ezcar?" She asked as some of them sighed in frustration.

"No, he took off the moment he finished off the robot or whatever they were. Kara was supposed to follow him," Wally began before getting elbowed by Artemis and was getting glared from the Kryptonian.

"He bolted out of there, I couldn't keep up with him and I'm pretty he noticed me following him and evaded me." Kara said glaring at the speedster.

"Sorry, my bad." He said laughing nervously before looking back at Raquel. "But since then we've been searching for him."

"Have you checked with those group of people at that Kame House place?" She asked.

"Yes but even they don't know where he's at." Artemis said as Wally and Robin chuckled. "What's so funny?"

"Oh, it's just it was hilarious seeing Black Canary sucker punching the old man for touching her ass." He said before he and Robin burst in laughter before getting pulled by the ear, shutting them up. This brought some laughter in the room seeing the two boys getting dragged around by their girlfriends so easily. "Ow! Okay, I'll shut up now!"

"Yeah me too!" Robin shouted as the two girls let go of their boyfriend's ears who pouted and rubbed them.

"But I don't think Canary is going back to that island anytime soon though." Megan said as they all chuckled a bit.

"I don't think anyone is going back there now," Raquel added laughing before toning down a bit and looked slightly down. "Though, now that Ezcar is free from the inhibitor there's no telling what he'll do." She said.

"No kidding." Conner grumbled still showing his hatred towards the Saiyan.

"Anyway, we'll let you rest up I think we should head out to let you rest." Artemis said.

"Actually I think I should rest at home, my family must be worried for me." Raquel said getting off the bed and stood up holding her hip in pain.

"You don't need to worry, I informed them that you're on a school trip and won't return for a week." Icon said behind the group of young heroes and was watching them.

"I could just say that the trip ended early." She said.

"That could work, though I escort you home since you are still injured." He said as she nodded and he started to walk out the med bay. "I'll meet you by the Zeta-Tube." He said before walking out.

"Guess we should leave then." Robin said.

"Indeed, though I believe we should continue our search for Ezcar." Kaldur said making some of the Team groan as he stared at them sternly. "We need to find him before he can do any harm to anyone."

"I know he's dangerous but we spent the last few days searching for him, can't we take like today off," Wally complained as some of them agreed as Kaldur sighed in frustration. "Fine you all can take today off but if any of you wish to join me meet by the hanger." He said before walking out the med bay.

"Finally a day off." Robin and Wally cheered.

"Any of you going to help Kaldur?" Megan asked.

"Me and Tula will help him since he is our friend and we don't want Ezcar to do anything harmful to anyone before it's too late." Garth said before he and Tula walked out.

"I'll go with him since I have a score to settle with that bastard." Conner said angrily.

"I got nothing to do today so I'll help him." Megan said before she grabbed his hand and walked out.

"Well, I guess it's just us," Wally said turning to the remaining teens in the room. "Since Raquel is heading home do any of you want to watch a movie with me and Artemis?"

"I'm down." Robin said as he and Zatanna agreed to watch a movie with them.

"I'm actually going to find Ezcar. I believe I found a place he could be hiding but I'm not entirely sure." Kara said.

"You going with the others?" Raquel asked.

"No, I'm just going to check the area real quick and I don't want to waste their time since there's a low chance he'd be there. Besides, we would cover more ground if we split up." She said as they see the logic but before they can ask where she's going she quickly left.

"Well If that's everyone let's head get comfortable then." Robin said before Zatanna and Artemis looked at Raquel.

"Do you need help walking?" Artemis asked.

"No I should be good but thanks, you guys enjoy the movie." She said as they all shared their goodbyes before making her way to the Zeta-Tube to see her mentor Icon waiting.

He turned on the Zeta-Tube and help Raquel walked towards through it before disappearing from the Base before they reappeared in an alley in Paris Island, Dakota City. The two flew off the ground with Icon helping her and the two flew into the air towards Raquel's house and on the way there, Icon told her what she needs to know about this 'trip' she went on, just in case her family asks. After a few more minutes of flying, they reached her house, and the two said their goodbyes before Raquel entered her home. Upon entering home no one was home she noticed no one home as she then softly sighed before walking to her room to rest for the day. Closing her room's door, she walked straight to her bed and jumped on it and getting comfortable but was thinking of one thing. Where is Ezcar?

Rocky Mountains, Colorado

5:48 p.m. MT

The young Saiyan was sitting down in a cave that was all too familiar with him as he sat in front of a fire, waiting for his deer meat to cook. He sat patiently staring into the fire, but he sat there silently looking like he hasn't slept in days with bags under his eyes. He sighed softly before noticing the meat was about done and ripped a piece off and began to eat it slowly.

"I finally found you." He heard behind him and jumped up to see Supergirl standing there with a small smirk.

"How did you find me?" Ezcar asked glaring at her as she simply chuckled and walked up to him.

"Well, I did try to follow you after the mission but you flew pretty fast and lost track of you. So doing some research of my one and talking to some of the Team where they first met you they mentioned you stayed in a cave while holding Raquel hostage. And if you were hiding I assumed that you'd hide somewhere no one would suspect you to return to the scene of the crime." She explained as she saw the deer meat and grabbed a bit and ate it. "Huh, not bad." She said before eating more.

"So I'm guessing the rest are just outside of here then." He said still glaring at her as she continues to eat his food.

"No I'm the only one here, some of us stayed at the Base while the others went to look for you. I just went to search for you on my own so we can cover mow ground before you do anything reckless, I just so happen to be the only one to find you." She said playfully tapping his chest with a small smirk.

"Then you are a fool to come alone." Ezcar said sternly as she chuckled a bit.

"Maybe, but I know you won't hurt me because it would tarnish your relationship with Raquel.~" Supergirl said as his eyes widen and a smug smirk appeared on her face. "Yeah, I know."

"H-How?"

"You do know I have super hearing right? I can hear you and her making out or whatever you two were doing in your room. I'm surprised no one can hear you two especially Conner since he too has super hearing. Then again he and Megan are too busy making out with each other." She explained. "So tell me, how did you two get together?"

"S-Shut up! Stop trying to small talk me! I'm sure you didn't track me down to just talk to me!" He shouted angrily and was a bit embarrassed. "But if that's what you came here for its best for you to leave me alone!" He shouted turning away from her.

"It's not your fault you know." Supergirl said softly placing a hand on his shoulder but he quickly shook it off and took a few steps away from her.

"It was my fault. I was to busy arguing with the fish boy to realize I failed to defeat the machine before it was too late and Raquel suffered." He said sadly surprising Supergirl a bit. "H-How is she?" He asked turning around looking at her.

"She's fine, she was unconscious for a few days with a few minor injuries but she making a good recovery." She said as Ezcar sighed in relief and a small smile appeared on his face, which didn't go unnoticed.

"Wow! Didn't know you could actually smile!" She said giggling as he grumbled and quickly turned around to hide it.

"Shut up!" He shouted which only made her laugh.

"I'm just messing with you."

"Is she recovering at the Base?" Ezcar asked.

"No, she woke up earlier today and went home to recover instead." Supergirl answered as the Saiyan briefly smiled. "Anyway, now that you know about your girl's condition it's time to head home." She said walking towards and grabbing his wrist and began to drag him, only for the Saiyan to break free from her grip.

"I'm not going back." He said sternly as she the sighed in frustration.

"Look I know you don't like it there and I know you don't like anyone besides Raquel but you need to understand that everyone is not going to stop looking for you since you are a danger to us." Supergirl explained.

"I know that but I'm not going because I couldn't go anywhere, I couldn't control my powers making me feel pathetic, and it basically forced me to do whatever you all wanted if I don't want to feel immense pain." Ezcar said sternly. "So I think I'll just stay here but now that you know I'm here, I need to find somewhere else."

"Then I guess I have to force you then." She said determinedly, ready to fight but the Saiyan simply sighed.

"As much as we Saiyans love to fight, I don't feel like wasting my time on you." He said.

"Then come with me back." She ordered sternly.

"I would but I know that the Batman is going to put that damn collar on and I don't really want that. Why would I go back to only to be in house arrest while I'm free to explore this planet and go all out on training." He said as Supergirl straighten herself and sighed while pinching the bridge of her nose in frustration.

"Okay, how about this, even though I'm still new I'll try talking with seeing what we can do. Does that sound good?"

"Hmm, guess that's the best I'm going to get. But when you do go back don't tell them where I'm at, I don't really want to deal with anybody else since I just want to enjoy some peace and quiet." He said. "And you all won't put much of a fight so it would be very boring for me." He said making her eyebrow twitch a bit.

"All right, I'll let you stay here and I'll come back here to let you know." She said turning around and started to walk away but stopped when Ezcar places his hand on her shoulder.

"And one more thing, don't tell them about me and Raquel. If the others find out I'm afraid that they will start to shun her since they all don't like me." He begged softly which caught her by surprise as she stared into his eyes to see he was worried.

"S-Sure, no problem." She stuttered and looked away to hide her faint blush before pushing his hand off of her and walked out the cave.

As soon as he left the cave, Ezcar sighed in relief now that he can go back and eat his meal though he is questioning if he made the right move to let her go. But his thought was replaced with a certain someone and wondered if she's all right. Deciding it's been a while and wanted to see if she was all right, he decided to visit her. So he waited a few more hours just so he won't run into anyone that would be an annoyance to him and also used his Ki sense to maneuver around them. After waiting and eating his food he flew off and made his easy to Raquel.

Paris Island

July 27, 2011

10:22 p.m. ET

Raquel was laying her bed wearing her sleepwear which consists of black shorts and a great shirt. She had headphones on listening to music with her eyes closed trying to get some rest as she's been trying to her mind off of Ezcar but no matter what she was still worrying for him. But as she rested on her side facing the wall and listen to her music, he was snapped back to reality when she felt a tap on her shoulder. Turning around she immediately jumped up and covered her mouth to prevent her from screaming to see the man she was worrying about in front of her.

"E-Ezcar! What are you doing here?!" She shouted in a whisper tone as she took off her headphones to hear the Saiyan chuckle.

"I wanted to see how you doing." He said smirking but it quickly turned to a small frown a she looked at her worriedly. "Are you all right?"

"Yes, I'm fine, just a little beat up. Give me a couple days and I'll be fine." She said smiling a bit as Ezcar sat on the bed next to her looking down.

"I'm… sorry." He said softly. "If I didn't argue with Kaldur then you wouldn't have gotten hurt." He said as Raquel place a hand in his cheek and lifted his head up so the two were making eye contact.

"Ezcar, it wasn't your fault. I wasn't paying attention and it's our job as heroes to put our lives on the line to save others." Raquel said.

"But I'm no hero, I'm not even close to a hero. After everything I did in my life and everything I did on this planet, I am beyond redemption." He said softly. "The only good thing that I'm willing to stay for is.. you."

"Ezcar…" She said softly as she felt his hand touch her cheek.

"Seeing you take the blast and on the ground unconscious, I thought I was going to lose the one person that has ever made me happy, the only person that made my life more enjoyable. Raquel… I… I love you." He said passionately before leaning his head closer.

"I love you too." She said softly before their lips connected.

The soft kiss turned into a deep passionate kiss as Raquel wrapped her arms around his neck as she felt his strong arms wrapped around her waist. The two continued to kiss for a few more minutes before Raquel pulled him onto the bed and forced him down before sitting on top of him. She pulled away from the kiss as Ezcar saw she had a seductive smile before she pulled her shirt over her head to reveal her to be wearing a blush bra and tossed her shirt on the ground. Seeing this the young Saiyans face turned red as she leaned closer to him.

"Let's see if fighting is the best you Saiyans can do.~" Raquel said seductively before connecting her lips to his again as the two then had a long passionate night together.
