This took me way longer than it should have, so here, have some bratty mischievous Raven and exasperated Robin!
"Cyborg's stronger."
"Well of course he is but-"
"Star is also stronger."
He sighed. "Star can bench an entire spaceship, Raven, that's hardly a fair comparison."
"I could probably keep up with her."
"You could not."
Raven's lips quirked up just the barest bit, unnoticeable had it not been for his hawk-like eyes. "Is that a challenge, Boy Blunder?"
"No," Robin was quick to deny, looking up at her from the built-in computer in his glove with a look that could only be described as exasperated annoyance. "I don't want a repeat of what happened last time you took something as a challenge."
Her inner demon preened at his blatant dismay. Raven wasn't really one for causing their leader headaches on purpose, that was more Beast Boy's thing, nor was she one to cause mischief in general but hey, what could she say? It was in her blood.
And occasionally, that mischievous side had to be let out.
"Then how am I supposed to take that?" She asked, hovering just the slightest bit closer, clearly a bit too close for his liking because his ears reddened and his fingers halted over the miniature keys; yet he never stepped back.
They'd been stuck down in the garage for a while now, Robin trying to figure out a malware issue with the R-cycle and Raven keeping him company, mainly out of her own personal interest because it seemed like the one way to fix it was via the Batcomputer back at Gotham.
And Robin had so promptly decided to remedy that issue by remotely hacking into that very same, highly secured computer because apparently he could do that.
The smugness had practically been coming off of him in waves after he spotted her admittedly astounded yet ever so stoic expression, something which hit her tenfold due to her empathy and their shared bond.
And somehow, mainly because she wanted to tease him, the conversation had crashed and burned into the minefield they were in now; all the things the masked man could and couldn't do.
"Just take it as anything but a challenge," he sighed. "I really don't want you and Starfire to go against each other. Ever. Friendly or not, it'd be a natural disaster."
Raven couldn't help it this time; she laughed. A sound she tried to disguise by coughing into her sleeve but again, nothing was hidden from this man. His grin was evidence enough.
"So is that another thing impossible for you to do?" Raven had floated over towards his out-of-commission vehicle by then, lowering herself onto the sleek black leather of the seat and crossing her legs over one another. She didn't miss the brief look he shot her either. "Deal with us?"
"I can 'deal' with you just fine," he stated, a bit irritably. "It's just that I know for a fact you'll be blowing the entire city up should you ever fight," he shot her another look, then, this one less subtle and more daring her to deny his next statement. "Both of you."
Raven hummed, choosing to neither confirm nor deny that statement. "Want to find out?"
"You're really in one of your worser moods, aren't you?"
"What do you mean worse?"
"Bratty."
"Like you?"
"Exactly," he leaned in just a little, would've probably tried to cage her in between himself and his motorcycle like the total rotten playboy he was had his hands not been so busy. "Only with me it's a regular occurrence."
"So you're saying I'm not allowed?"
"I'm saying it's unexpected."
"Then why-"
"Raven."
She laughed again. "Fine, fine, let's just add my 'worser moods' to the list of things you can't deal with."
Raven couldn't see his eyes behind his mask, but she just knew he was rolling them. Robin didn't reply, his fingers flying over the keys in quick succession until the holographic blue screen lit up green and a bat symbol briefly flashed across. "Aaannddd done," he grinned. "Add that to the list of things I can do."
Now Raven wouldn't lie; she was mildly impressed. Hacking into the Batcomputer of all things wasn't a small feat, she'd imagine. Hacking into NASA itself would've probably been an easier task to accomplish and yet he'd managed. Not that she would ever tell him that, of course. They'd already ventured this deep, she wasn't about to let up now.
"I mean…" she leaned back, the majority of her weight resting on her hands as she pressed them flat against the seat of his motorcycle. "I'd bet Cyborg could do that too if he tried hard enough, the man's half-machine-"
Robin never gave her the chance to finish. By the time she was halfway through her sentence he'd gotten rid of his mini computer and everything else keeping his hands occupied before pulling her into a surprise liplock without so much as a damn word. He hardly gave her the chance to gather herself, his lips practically an assault on hers as he cheekily slipped his tongue past the rim and faintly, Raven thought she could hear something behind them explode.
He pulled away, his grin much too proud and much too cocky for her tastes as he gently pressed his forehead against hers, his eyes undoubtedly searching her stunned gaze.
"Can he do that?" He whispered, his lips just barely brushing her own. "Render you absolutely dizzy with just a kiss?"
And yes, okay, maybe she was a bit flustered, but that was only because he'd caught her off guard, nothing more! Her current state had absolutely nothing to do with his stupid boyish charm.
God, she hated what he did to her.
"Don't flatter yourself," she snapped, though without as much venom as she'd have liked. "You just caught me off guard, that's all."
"Sure I did."
Raven tried pulling away with a huff, the mild teasing not as fun anymore now that it'd been directed back at her. Robin only laughed, easily pulling her back in towards him and planting another short peck on her pouting lips. "Just to be fair, you brought this on yourself."
"You are such a brat."
