Hey guys! Happy Holidays! This is the final chapter of Prince Wolf and Prince Vamp. Thanks for all those who stuck by me through this four-year journey. I truly didn't expect this to come this far but it did with all your support so thanks!
On with it!
Epilogue
"Your parents have been looking for you little one," the deeper twang that his voice had gotten when he finally accepted Major as a part of him was familiar to the little boy lounging on the tree.
"Uncle Jaz!" Calix lit up at the sight of the topaz eyed vampire below him.
"What are you doing up there?" Major Jasper Whitlock no longer had a different personality inside of him. He had finally assimilated the Major when Jacqueline became pregnant with their first child.
"Alaina and Amira," was all Calix had to say before Jasper was nodding his head in agreement. Despite technically being his brother-in-law, the Prince triplets called Jasper Uncle due to the age difference between them and the older Prince twins.
"Alright, come on then," Jasper beckoned to his favorite Prince child, aside from his own mate anyway. "The Volturi will be arriving soon." And in a feat of trust, the youngest of the Prince triplets showed only him and his older sister, Calix jumped down from the five-storey tree he had been perched upon knowing that the older vampire would catch him. Jasper plucked the young boy out of the air with a mere grunt before he was running off into the home he had built for his own family. He was anxious to get back to his own wife for she was pregnant with his second child. As he let the wind rush past him, going at a brisk yet still leisurely pace with Calix's face tucked into his chest, he remembered the time when he and the Major had finally become one.
"What is wrong with my wife?" Jasper growled at his father. Carlisle, despite being a lot older than Jasper, took a step back from the irate vampire. He shook his head, his own knowledge of human anatomy failing him at that particular moment due to the peculiar case of his daughter-in-law's illness.
"I'm sorry Jasper, but I am out of my depth here. All the tests came back normal, although she is a little underweight. Perhaps, you should ask Sebastian." Jasper took a deep breath before looking back at his wife. They had married just two months after her seventeenth birthday, and now four months later Jacqueline had begun displaying rather unusual traits. She was currently on the couch at the Cullen house, playing videogames with Emmett – an activity that she had adamantly refused to do before they got married. Jacqueline had also been having short bursts of magic, seemingly random though Jasper had begun to see a pattern in the last few days.
"I apologize Carlisle," he apologized to his father who put a calming hand on his shoulder.
"I may not understand what is happening to Jacqueline, son. But what I do know is that she is perfectly healthy. Perhaps, it has something to do with her magical majority." Jasper looked thoughtfully up at his coven leader as a thought struck him. Alexander and Jacqueline had spent the day before their birthday at the Prince family home, at a party with all their friends and family. Immediately afterwards, Jasper had whisked Jacqueline towards his cabin where he had laid a few surprises for her. Most of their time had been spent making love although Jasper could recall a single moment wherein both he and Jacqueline had lasted a lot longer than they usually did. He couldn't quite remember the details as he had been busy pounding into her in their newly christened living room, but if he wasn't imagining it, he could vaguely recall literal sparks running along both their bodies as they writhed together in ecstasy.
"Jasper?" the soft and weak voice of his wife broke through his walk-through memory lane and she collapsed just as he focused on her. Emmett was quick to catch her before she could fall flat on her face from her perch on the couch, but the sight of her seemingly lifeless body was what seemed to break the barriers surrounding the Major.
"Unhand my mate!" Major snarled at Emmett who quickly, but gently, laid Jacqueline on the couch before jumping over the back and keeping his distance from the angered vampire. All eyes trained on the war veteran as he stalked towards his slumbering wife. "Sweetheart?" despite the softness of his voice and the gentleness in his actions, his tone was still that of the Commanding Officer in the newborn wars. "Jacqueline," he called out again, tucking an unruly strand of her chocolate locks behind her ear as he spoke. "Jax," Major was nearly sobbing when there was still no response. Despite the soft breathing and easy rise and fall of her chest, he still didn't understand why she wouldn't wake. And then the Major was clutching his head in pain and snarling at himself.
"She is my mate!" Jasper's voice came through as he stumbled back from Jacqueline's prone body.
"Jacqueline is mine!" the Cullen family could only watch in horror as Jasper literally fought with himself. He was clawing at his own arms and beginning to tear his hair off as he argued with the baser part of his personality. Carlisle's topaz eyes widened in shock when Jasper started to break off his fingers, the sharp grinding noise of marble echoing across the room.
"Major Jasper Whitlock, cease and desist this instant!" the commanding tone broke through the inner fight of the two personalities within a single body. Jasper stood rigidly, recognizing the command as it had been given.
"Who dares~" "Stop Alex! Don't~" "My mate!" the disjointed words in between different tones of voices confused the rest of the Cullen family as Alexander stepped into the living room with Jacob behind him.
"Stand down soldier." There was an inflection in Alexander's tone that he had previously used on Jasper almost a year and a half ago. It was a tone of one who held more power than either Jasper or Major had, and one that they couldn't disobey due to their military training.
"Wolf?!" the major snarled as he caught sight of Jacob hovering just behind Alexander, but the smaller vampire stood his ground and glared back at the war veteran.
"I said, stand down soldier!" Alexander seemed to have lost his patience and he whipped out his wand and pointed it directly towards Jasper. Esme gasped from her place beside Carlisle, gripping her husband's arm and hoping that nobody would get hurt.
"You dare~" but the Major couldn't finish his words as Jasper began to struggle inside of him. "He's family!" came Jasper's voice. If one could look closely, they would find that the red and topaz of his eyes were growing smaller and larger as it responded to Jasper's inner struggle.
"I grow tired of this," Alexander waved his wand dismissively and suddenly both personalities were silenced. Major made to lunge at him, but Jasper held himself back making his body freeze in place somewhere in between a pounce and being pulled back. It would have been quite a comical sight if not for the seriousness of the situation. "Now listen here Major," Alexander ignored the way Esme was sobbing on the sidelines and trained his wand in the middle of Jasper's forehead. "You are a part of Jasper's personality created by his need to shield himself from Maria. Now Maria's gone and Jasper has a whole family to protect him should he ever need it. Jasper has no need of you anymore and I am sick and tired of having to heal my sister's bruises after you had gotten your way with her. Jax may like it while it is happening, but it is taking a toll on her physically and mentally just to keep up with you." Alexander growled out. Jacob's hand on his hip and his strong chest against Alexander's back had the younger vampire breathing deeply to calm himself before he destroyed his twin's husband. "That right there," Alexander gestured towards his sleeping sister. "Is the result of my sister being essentially married to two different men. She may have accepted you as you are, but her body cannot, and should not have to, keep up with your dual personalities. If this continues Jacqueline will either fade away or lose her mind if she fails to properly become your submissive partner." Silently, he took off the silencing charm he had placed on Jasper's body and waited for the man to speak.
"Oh darlin'," that was definitely Jasper though the way his body was still frozen showed that he was still somewhat struggling with the other part of him. "Mine!" Alexander rolled his eyes skyward at the possessive snarl.
"Nobody's contesting your claim," Alexander said though he was already running out of patience. "But Jacqueline will die if you don't stop taking over Jasper whenever you feel like it!" he glared at Jasper's body who returned the gaze evenly. "Now you have two choices here," Alexander offered. "You and Jasper can merge together and become one. That way both parts of your personality are free to love and care for Jacqueline. Or, you can fight me on this, and I will destroy you. Not Jasper, just Major thus leaving your mate unprotected for the rest of your life."
"Why can't I be the dominant personality?" Major asked as he overcame Jasper's control momentarily. He finally straightened his body, completely in control of the shared body, crossed his arms across his chest and glared defiantly at the wizard-vampire.
"Because you are not the person my sister fell in love with." Alexander shrugged carelessly making the Major sneer angrily. "Jacqueline loves you because you are part of Jasper, not the other way around. She can live without the Major but not without Jasper." Major's hands curled into fists at the thought. "Now make your choice because I refuse to allow my niece or nephew to become confused as to who their father is." That particular news made Major lose his hold on their shared body and Jasper was able to finally take control. He shook out his hands from the way they were curled into fists and walked slowly towards his slumbering wife, Alexander's wand still trained on his back. He knelt in front of Jacqueline, lifted her shirt and leaned his ear on her stomach, straining to hear the sound of life that his brother-in-law alluded to.
"How did you know?" Jasper looked up questioningly at Alexander who had a small smile on his face as he answered.
"Jax and I found out yesterday. You were not the only one worried about the changes she seemed to be undergoing. The potion turned the lightest shade of pink which indicated that she is just recently pregnant. She couldn't be more than a few weeks gone judging by the color of the potion. She didn't want to tell you because she wasn't really sure yet, but our twin-bond became much stronger after she came into her majority. I just knew."
"I~"
"My mate!" Alexander's wand was once more trained on Jasper, a spell on his lips but there was no need.
"No!" Jasper growled strongly even as his eyes changed color from the normal topaz towards the deep rubies that signified the Major. "She is my mate, and this is my child!" though everyone knew he was talking to himself they couldn't quite fight off their smiles at his claim. "You have no power over me!" Jasper grit his teeth as his eyes closed and his hands once more raised towards his head. Everyone tensed as they watched the inner struggle, Alexander itching to help but knowing it would be better for everyone for Jasper to succeed on his own.
"Jaz?" the whole family waited with bated breath as Jasper's body began to relax at the sound of Jacqueline's voice. "Jasper?" she called again, and slowly his eyelids opened as his stance straightened. Jasper dropped his arms to his sides before turning his attention to Jacqueline.
"Hi darlin'," Alexander breathed a sigh of relief at the sound of Jasper's voice but none of them could've expected the way Jacqueline reacted as she suddenly burst into tears upon meeting Jasper's deep amber eyes.
"I'm sorry Jaz," Jacqueline covered her face with her hands. "If only I had been stronger." She sobbed and Jasper was quick to take her into his arms, burying his face into her messy locks before looking up and meeting Alexander's jade orbs. The wizard nodded minutely and then the pair was gone. Alexander's shoulder's sagged as he dropped his wand arm once the pair was out of sight, unknown to the rest of the family though, Jacqueline and Jasper were still in the room under a disillusionment and two-way silencing charm.
"Darlin'," Jasper soothed his mate as she sobbed into his chest. "You have nothin' to apologize for."
"But…"
"No," the hard edge to his voice had her meeting his deep amber eyes. "I have been struggling with the Major since we bonded last year, and that fight has worsened since we got married."
"Why didn't you tell me?"
"Because it was inevitable. I knew, and so did he, that it was only a matter of time before one of us eventually won." Jasper's hand drifted towards her stomach and she blushed at the intimacy of the moment despite being hidden from view. "This little one just gave me the strength to finally fight him off."
"Oh." Jacqueline bit her lip and looked down, unable to meet the intense gaze he bestowed upon her.
"Can you apparate us out of here darlin'?" Jasper asked, his breath drifting across her ear making Jacqueline shiver in response. "I do believe I owe you more than a few massages." Jasper smirked as he felt the tell-tale being-sucked-in-a-tube feeling of apparation and then they were landing on their bed in the same position as they had been on the couch at the Cullen home. Back at his former coven's home, Alexander was left to explain to the rest of the family exactly what happened to the Whitlock couple.
"There you are!" Jasper couldn't have stopped the soft smile that graced his face at the sight of his wife and daughter waiting for them on the veranda of what used to be his cabin. With all the expansions he and his brothers had added to it, what used to be a small cabin in the woods had been transformed into a house fit for a family. "Sabrina just mirror-called me and told me that we are the only ones they are waiting for."
"Papa!" the little girl with the same deep jade eyes as his wife held both arms toward him as he approached the landing with Calix still tucked into his chest.
"Emmy!" Calix greeted his niece who waved wildly at the pair. Emerald, named after the color of her eyes, was three years old and yet she stood as tall as her five-year-old uncle Calix. The growth spurt was attributed to both her magic and her vampire heritage making her smarter than the average three-year-old.
"Alright, come on you two," Jacqueline beckoned towards the pair. "We'll apparate to the other house."
"Aww," Calix pouted even as he grasped his older sister's arm as it was held out to him. Jasper did the same as they walked towards the apparation point. "I hate apparating."

Jacob looked suspiciously at his husband and best friend. The elder Prince twins had been huddled together since the Whitlock family arrived to celebrate his birthday together. Jacob was turning twenty-one and as such, it was a big day for the Pack even though he already had his own family. His five-year-old twins, Jace and Caden were off playing with Alaina and Amira somewhere being watched over by their grandparents. He could see Calix with Emerald in one corner of the house reading a book together. Rosalie and Emmett were on the couch with their two-month-old daughter Lily and the couple were talking to Aro and Sulpicia Volturi, the latter caressing her well-rounded belly for she was carrying their third child. The rest of the family were scattered in and around the Prince house, speaking to each other while watching over the next generation of the Prince-Cullen-Black clan.
"Jace, Cade!" Jacob was startled out of his thoughts as he heard his husband call out to their children. "Come inside! It's time to give your Dad his presents." And just like that, all the attention was on him. He would've shrunk at the expectant gazes, but being a part of the large family, as they were, everyone was used to being in the spotlight once or twice a year. There was a pounding of feet and then his boys came rushing in followed by the rest of their cousins. Right behind his own twins were Alice's children, four-year-old Charlotte and three-year old Connor and their twin aunts Amira and Alaina. In a few minutes, the whole family was inside waiting patiently for the boys to start giving their father, the presents. "Go get your gifts." Alexander told his sons after hitting them with a quick scourgify.
"Happy Birthday Daddy!" the twins presented him with a messily wrapped box.
"Thank you!" he smiled at his sons as he reached for the present. Slowly, he began to open it and he could do nothing but laugh at the wooden wolf. His twins had been studying sculpting with some of the pack, one of which included Paul, and their skills had grown since they had begun. The wolf was his own form when he phased and despite the rawness of the work, he was proud of the outcome of his sons' project. "This is beautiful, Jace, Cade," he opened his arms for a hug to which both of his sons obliged him.
"Uncle Paul helped us with the small parts," Jace pointed towards the small elevations that depicted his russet fur and Jacob looked towards his Pack mate and nodded in thanks. Paul was currently sitting on the floor, by Evangeline's feet. The witch's feet were resting upon his lap while she leaned back and rested her back onto Edward's chest. As it turned out, Evangeline was both Edward's true mate and Paul's imprint. It had been a never before seen phenomenon that had the Tribal Elders in uproar. Unfortunately, none could deny the claim as Evangeline had almost died when Edward had left for the Denali's after he saved her from one of Maria's newborns. It took Paul, Jacob and Alexander three months to convince Edward of the bizarre event and even then, he had had to see Evangeline by himself before he truly believed them.
"Dad! Look!" Caden took his attention from the way he was reminiscing about their past and showed him a secret compartment on the wolf's belly. He pulled open the tiny doorknob and out fell a pair of keys.
"What's this for?" he looked up in confusion at the three silver keys on a single golden snitch keychain.
"That is the keys to your new office and garage." Alexander spoke up. "It was a joint gift from Dad, Papa, Esme and Carlisle." Jacob's jaw dropped at the extravagant gift. It was true that he had studied automotive engineering in college, fully intending on opening his own garage when he had the money for it, but he had never expected his family to just give it to him. "Your Dad gave us the land where it's built, and the rest of the family helped to set it up just like they did with our house." Jacob blinked stupidly at his husband who was standing right beside his boys by then, still uncomprehending of the gift he had just received.
"But…"
"It's your birthday gift from us Jacob." Orion smiled kindly at his son-in-law. "Besides, it's just for the beginning of the garage. You will have to run the place by yourself, though I'm sure you wouldn't have a shortage of assistants when you do open the shop." Jacob shook his head wryly knowing that neither of them would accept his refusal. He couldn't help but wonder exactly how much money they had but at the same time, he didn't really care. They were family to him, one way or another.
"Alright! It's my turn!" Jacqueline bounced towards them and held out another key as she stood next to Alexander.
"Another key?" he looked questioningly at his best friend who smiled at him in the way that always had shivers running up and down his spine.
"Yep!" she said cheerfully, popping the 'p' as she spoke. "I'm giving you back the key to my room at your house. The boys are gonna need it soon because you need your nursery once again."
"What?" there was a collective gasp around the room as her words sunk in, but Jacob was still confused.
"Jace and Caden are going to be moved to my room. You're going to need the room next to yours for someone else." Jacqueline repeated hoping her best friend would catch on.
"I don't understand," there were multiple face palms going around the room as Jacob continued to look back and forth from one twin to another. "Who's going to need the room next to ours?" he met his husband's laughing jade eyes this time, but Alexander just continued to smile mischievously at him. "Alex?"
"Go on Jace, tell Daddy who's going to use your old room."
"Daddy, Cade and I will move to Aunt Jax's old room then we're gonna turn our old room pink with a crib and everything!"
"A crib?"
"Duh, Daddy!" Caden rolled his eyes at his father. "Where else is the baby going to sleep?"
"Baby?" and finally, it dawned on him. Alexander saw at the exact moment when Jacob finally understood what they were trying to tell him. His deep chocolate eyes shone with excitement and then it was looking straight at his stomach as if that could confirm what he had just recently gotten. "Really?"
"Yeah," Alexander smiled at his husband as Jacob held his hand out to beckon him closer. "Jax and I confirmed it yesterday with Carlisle. We're only a few weeks apart this time so we'll have our babies right around the same time."
"You're pregnant too?" Jacob looked at Jacqueline asking for confirmation. Jasper was the one to answer his query with a nod and a proud smile.
"I thought you were taking a potion?" Jacob whispered quietly as Alexander stood in front of him. He leaned his head sideways so he could lean his ear over his husband's stomach.
"Remember your graduation?" Alexander asked as he ran his hand through his husband's shaggy hair. Jacob was hard-pressed to contain his moan at the reminder of the heated night they had spent together the day of his graduation.
"This is the best birthday ever." Jacob said as he pulled his husband down so that Alexander was left sitting on his lap. "Thank you, Baby," he kissed his husband straight on the lips, ignoring the catcalls from his Pack, the polite coughing from their parents and the gagging protests from his sons. He had been married to Alexander for five years, a wizard-vampire and his supposed mortal enemy and yet they were happy together. Of course, their relationship was never perfect, they had their arguments as all couples do, but he couldn't think of his future without his husband by his side. Jacob couldn't quite see a future without his best friend either. While Alexander embraced his inner wolf to be with Jacob, Jacqueline fully intended to be turned soon to live with her own mate and husband Jasper. Twins they may be, but their choices were so different from each other. Though they had branched out from the Prince family, their lives were still intertwined as they bring a new generation of witches, wizards, vampires and wolf-shifters into the world.
