(Hey everyone how are you doing? I hope all of you who are experiencing this heatwave are doing okay and keeping cool. I'm doing my part to not gain another... well... it doesn't matter.

Anyways... Here's the final part of the Holocron trilogy, where they will finally end this chase and plot to destroy the Jedi. But what will come from this confrontation I wonder? Who will be involved in this final part?

I'm sorry for not posting last week, what with it being "Independence Day". But now I'll got the chapter done and have post it for all of you to enjoy as I have enjoyed writing this story and my others stories for you.

Sorry for sounding like this is my last chapter, but I am not stopping I promise. And I promise you all will have something that will hopefully be more exciting when you read a chapter I'm going to make in the future.

While the general and commander got out of the Shuttle talking Admiral Yularen, several clone troopers helped their injured brothers to the medical bay,

"How many made it off this time?" A clone asked his brother.

"Just us. And those who took General Ropal's body back to the ship before that frigate blew." A trooper answered, taking off his helmet, "Though it'd been much worse if the Autobots were there."

"Tell me bout it. Gotta admit they're really good in a fight. Especially the little guys." A third said taking off his helmet as he lead the injured away to receive treatment.

The second clone told his injured brother, "Denal, good job frying that bounty hunter."

Denal remained silent as he walked out of the shuttle.

"Let's get some grub. You hungry?" The second clone asked his brothers.

"I'll catch up." Hardcase answered as he noticed something on the floor. As he brought it to the attention of Rex. A clone trooper from the Torrent battalion came to check on the less than series injured before pulling out a medical device.

Ahsoka Tano approached her master, Anakin Skywalker, seeing Admiral Yularen walking off to the bridge, and asked, "So what now?"

"We get the injured to the medical bay." Anakin answered, looking back to his padawan while noticing many of the clones who made it out of there heading over to the med-bay.

"General, there's something I think you should see." Rex called, only to be pushed aside by Steeljaw as he sniffed what his general needed to see before getting himself out of the shuttle and looked around with his optics.

Anakin was perplexed by this as he asked, helping Rex up, "What's gotten Steeljaw so upset?"

"Not sure, sir. But might have something to do with what I need to show you."

Steeljaw kept searching with his optics as he thought, 'Where is he? Where is he? Where is he!?'

{Steeljaw! Whut's got you so jumpy? Finally got too much smells te remember where ye are?} The bellowing voice of Ramhorn asked, in Cybertronian, as it was hard for the two bestial Cybertronians to speak the organic language of basic.

Still searching the area, Steeljaw answered, {I detected a scent… of and enemy that's supposed to be dead…}

{An enemy? Well gotta be dat droid-drone de egghead brought wiv us. Knew I shoulda ran my horn though dat con-lover when I had de chance.} Ramhorn growled, glaring in the direction of where Rewind lead the battle droid to be held until they made it back to the Ark.

{It wasn't it. This is an organic scent.} Steeljaw answered before turning on his temperamental comrade and hissed, It's Bane! He's still functioning.

{Say wut?!} Ramhorn asked, shocked by this, but getting over exclaimed, {Why didn't ya sniff 'im out before we got back here!? Yer suppose te elite tracker!}

{There was so much fire and smoke back then I couldn't distinguished him from our allies. It wasn't until we landed that I detected his scent again. He's disguised as one of the clone.} Steeljaw answered, remaining calm, keeping his optics and olfactory peered for the task of finding the bounty hunter.

He then closed his optics, letting his olfactory sensors appear in his mind as and it appeared in his visual subconscious as he saw it exiting the ship and walking away from where the injured troopers went, going to the side towards the starfighters. He then detected another scent going after the scent of the Duros, a scent that he is familiar with.

Opening his optics, Steeljaw's fears grew as he saw Ahsoka going after the injured Denal clone. Unable to keep it in, Steeljaw breathed, Primus no…

{Is dat de one?} Ramhorn asked, optics locking on 'Denal'. Getting ready to skewer his enemy, even with Prime's directives in place.

{Commander Tano's with him… if we rush him he may take her hostage again…} Steeljaw whispered to the aggressive mini-con.

Whut'd you suggest we do den? Ramhorn asked, really wanting to attack Bane.

Looking over at his comrade he told him his plan, I will get Ahsoka's attention and try to get here away so you can subdue him.

Ramhorn groaned, wanting to get rid of the bounty hunter with his horn. Steeljaw, knowing this, whispered harshly, {Remember Prime's directives. We do not harm any indigenous species, what's the matter with you!?}

{He's de enemy and dat's all to it. Te scrap with Prime's directives, we're in a war and lives are lost.} Ramhorn stated angrily as he gets ready to do his part of the plan.

Anakin touched the substance with his gloves to feel it as Rex told him, "Its blood sir. And it isn't from any of us. Kix confirmed it."

The Clone trained in field medics nodded holding up his med scanner and showed Anakin the results.

Only for General Skywalker to come rushing out and looking around. Steeljaw knew that a general as intuitive as him figured out what the Autobot's mini-con team leader did.

Figuring how dangerous things will get the feline mini-con rushed forward, with Ramhorn following behind as Steeljaw attempted to warn Ahsoka again in Galactic Basic, "…AHSOKA! …BANE!"

Hearing that was all the Jedi knight needed to know that the person in Denal's armor was in fact Bane.

After talking with her master, Ahsoka noticed Denal walking away from where the other troopers are going as she called out to him, "Trooper, are you all right?"

"Must've been hit in the head." Ahsoka thought out loud to herself as she hurried to catch up, jogging past the two bestial mini-cons who were making sounds as though they were communicating. When she caught up to him she said, "Denal, wait! You're injured. That might be serious."

Only after seeing the wound that made it past the clone's armor, Ahsoka grew

"You're no clone." Ahsoka stated, seeing the green blood and blue skin. Denal simply stared back just as Steeljaw shouted, in a broken manner of Galactic Basic, "…AHSOKA! …BANE!"

Understanding the warning, Ahsoka looked up at the accused bounty hunter who stared back at her before kneeing her in the gut, making her blackout briefly and fall to the floor. She looked to see the disguised bounty hunter using his case to knock out a clone who was doing maintenance on one of the clone fighters and then punching another out before getting into the starfighter.

Ramhorn gave an angry shout when Bane kneed Ahsoka and activated his onboard boosters, shooting past both Anakin and Steeljaw. His horn ready to skewer the blue skin organic, ignoring Prime's directives completely now. His horn only grazed the back wing of the clone starfighter as it took off …and collided with the wall causing the entire ship to feel the force of the impact.

Once he had stabilized his footing from the resounding shaking of his assault cruiser. Anakin activated his wrist coms, urgent for the bounty hunter to not get away this time, ordering, "Admiral, lock down the hyperspace rings! Hurry!"

"What could possibly have happened since I last spoke with you?" He heard Admiral Yularen's voice from the other end of the coms. However his voice was the same as it was when he was in the hanger.

Anakin answered, practically shouting into the coms, "It's Bane! Lock those rings now!"

Outside of the Jedi Cruiser, the Autobots onboard, standing on the outer hull of the ship when it shook and tried to steady themselves as one asked, "What just happened?"

"Trouble." Blaster said, a visor lowering over his eyes, knowing what would make a large ship like this shake in space, hurrying over to the hanger doors. Warpath followed, his arm shifted into a rocket launcher and hurried to the hanger of the ship. Jetfire followed suit as he and his men transformed and flew ahead of the others.

As they arrived, the top of the cruiser opened as one of the republic Hyper Rings floated up to meet with the Clone starfighter that was heading its way. Warpath zoomed in and added, "No way that's a clone!"

Suddenly Blaster reported, "Whoa dudes! I got the 4-1-1 on that AWOL fighter. Bane's inside it!"

"Then let's BLAM! him!" Warpath exclaimed, aiming his rocket launcher at the starfighter.

Jetfire stopped him, "No! Prime's directive stands. Aim for his wings and engines only."

Warpath gave a groan, but shifted the missile projectile weapon into his basic weapons to shoot down the starfighter's propulsion engines instead, or the wings to keep the ring from locking the craft into place to enter hyperspace and escaping.

Jetfire shifted an arm to a Null Ray-class sniper rifle to get a better accurate shot on the starfire, but just as soon as he got the engines through his crosshairs, Bane escaped just as he pulled the trigger.

Despite being fired on by the Autobots and chased after by three Aerialbots Bane was able to get the starfighter docked onto the hyperspace ring and entered hyperspace. Once he escaped, Bane admitted, "That was very close, even for my liking…"

Seeing Bane had escaping through hyperspace Anakin looked through the ray shield that kept the internal atmosphere in the ship contained as Ahsoka, being helped up by Steeljaw, approached her master.

Turning to them, Anakin said, "We'll have to inform the Council. Personally."

After making their report back in the Jedi council chamber, Obi-wan Kenobi, Master Yoda, and Mace Windu sat there listening to everything. While several seats of the council seats were empty, the only ones who were there via holograms were Master Pol and Master Fisto.

"It is most unfortunate Bane was allowed to escape again. " Obi-wan stated, unable to believe a bounty hunter got away from them.

Windu then added, "With access to the names and locations of the most force-sensitive children in the Republic."

"Inflict devastating damage on the Jedi Order he could." Yoda added.

However Kup's hologram appeared in one of the empty seats, "More than your order, actually."

"General Kup?" Obi-wan Kenobi asked surprised. Since his introduction they found that Kup was only the commander of the mission while he was in charge of the Autobot forces that came with him onboard the Ark, making him the highest ranking officer to the minds of the Republic, even though his rank is… undecipherable from the Cybertronian language so they just went with general for sake of simplicity.

Mace Windu, however got up and said, feeling insulted but this intrusion, "This is a private meeting of the available Jedi high council. You overstep your boundaries."

"I was invited by Master Yoda. He believed you might need my insight into this dilemma given how long I've been online." The eldest Autobot stated as he smiled his thanks to Yoda who smiled back. He then said, holding his cane, "As I said before you seemed to have forgotten how it's not just your order that is going to be devastated, it's also the lives of the organic sparklings you seem to have forgotten."

"We've forgotten nothing, general. But the fact of the matter is that in order for the Jedi to continue as it has, we need more Jedi to keep the peace once this war has ended." Mace Windu stated as he calmed down, a bit as he sat back down on his chair.

"But when the war is over? Will you really still be seen as a peacekeeper?" Kup asked, as Windu's expression hardened again.

Anakin, realizing a conflict between their groups may occur, stated to keep things under control, "We've discovered Bane's working with the separatists."

"And the Decepticons?" Obi-wan asked, wanting to know if the Decepticons are in this plot to steal children and trying destroy the Jedi order.

Kup shook his head, "Jetfire reported as soon as he returned from the previous mission. No decepticon presence found at all when they all went to try and retrieve your data cube."

"Holocron." Master Kit Fisto corrected. Kup waved it off as he would when someone corrects someone of his age on terminology.

Obi-wan Kenobi however let out a sigh of relief. It would be dangerous if the Decepticons tried to do anything involving the babies or even if they tried to use the midi-chlorians to give the abilities to some of their soldiers.

Master Plo Koon said through the hologram, "There are thousands of children on that list. Which will he go after first?"

"Small chance there is, through the force, the Council may detect them." Yoda theorized looking at those here.

"My men, Perceptor and Jetfire will assist you in anyway." Kup stated, before looking to Skywalker and his padawan, "As well as Blaster's mini-con team. They really want to make sure that Bane fella doesn't get away again."

Obi-wan Kenobi said, with respect, "Thank you, general. But this is a—"

"Ep, Ep, Ep. I'm old son. I have every right to help you younglings as best as I can." Kup interrupted while some of the jedi were perplexed to be called youngling by this old Autobot, "After all Autobots are supposed to be there for their allies through thick and thin."

He then let out a little laugh as his hologram disappeared. Some of the Jedi in the room thought at once, 'He acts almost like Master Yoda.'

Soon the door to the council chamber opened and a female Neti in Jedi robes walked in, Mace Windu recognized her at once, "Greetings, Master Saa. What do we owe this visit for?"

The female Neti smiled and said, "It is good to see you Master Windu. I came as soon as I heard of the theft and wish to offer my assistance to help you locate either the stolen holocron or for the children that this bounty hunter wishes to whisk away as a bird of prey does its prize."

"Your help welcoming, it is Master Saa. Centuries of experience, you have." Master Yoda agreed as the five Jedi present proceeded to walk their way to a room for them to meditate and began their search through the force.

Meanwhile, onboard the Ark's medical bay, Springer stood as he looked out from a window of the Ark. Turning to face the other Autobot in the room, Hot Rod laid on the medical berth and said, "So... let me see if I got it straight: while I was in Stasis-Lock. This Cod Barn or whatever his name is, went into the Jedi temple, one of the most secure buildings on Coruscant, sneaked in took a Holo-cube our friends, the Jedi, use to learn something. Then took a memory crystal that has the information of… what did you call them again?"

"The next generation of Jedi." Springer told him.

"Right the next gen Jedi, who are what? Just emerged into life? While their… 'families'? Keep them safe until they develop enough for the Jedi to come and take them into the temple to be trained as Jedi?" Hot Rod asked again, making sure the new words he learned from what Kup told him about the way the people of the republic, if not all organic beings. Life differently from Cybertronians.

Springer nodded, "That's what I was told on how the Jedi seemed to have continued on as they did."

"Who knew organic life began so much differently than us." Hot Rod commented still confused how life worked with them as for Cybertronians one emerged from the Allspark, go through an educational program based on what caste they were born in and then get to work. But it seems that organic life began smaller than a mini-con, stays with two older organics that seemed to share their genetic sequence with each other to make such a thing, then stay with it after it emerged to life until it was old enough to make its own decisions.

Springer then said, "And when they are no more than 3 or 5 stellar cycles old, the Jedi then come to the ones who passed a medical trial or sensed them through the force to teach them the ways of the Jedi."

Hot Rod's smile faded before asking, "But isn't that similar to stealing the younger organic away from the older ones?"

Springer sighed as he stated, "I asked the same question to General Windu, but he answered that they need this separation so early in their lives to keep them from forming an form of emotional attachments or bonds that would make them fall to the dark side of the Force."

Even with his back to him, Hot Rod could tell Springer's clenching his dentures with how the Jedi, the supposed keepers of peace, would endure such a thing that brought up bad memories for the older Autobot.

"Well that's just dumb." Hot Rod answered as he tried to turn to stand, but his internal repairs were still incomplete. Springer, hearing the groaning from the younger Autobot pushed him back down, even as Hot Rod said, "Attachment and bonds aren't something that should be feared. It's why the Autobots remained fighting the Decepti-creeps for so long."

"You weren't online by the time of the Quintesson occupation…" Springer said before telling the younger bot, "They forced the citizens into a social apathy. As if we were simple machines and not living beings… They believed that emotions are a weakness and we were just to do as ordered due to how we were brought into existence."

"Forgot you lived through the occupation before you became an Elite Guard…" Hot Rod said, laying back down on his berth.

Springer then revealed, "Everything was fuzzy early on after my emergence, but that was the reason why I applied to be an Elite Guard, to help bring back the Cybertron that weren't afraid to feel emotions. To be the peace keeper that would not alienate the people we were trying to protect."

Sighing, the green Triple Changer then confessed, "I fear if the Jedi continue down this path then they'll end up becoming the enemy…"

"Like scrap that'll happen." Hot Rod said, having faith in his friends. Springer was uncertain. Why was this young bot unwilling to see the evidence. He saw the evidence of corruption as soon as he became an Elite Guard by the time of Sentinel "Zeta" Prime's regime. And he can see how it's beginning to show in a civilization as advanced as the Galactic Republic.

The Jedi Council members on Coruscant, and Anakin, would sit in a circle as they began to meditate, reaching out to the Force to search for the children. The only Autobots present was Perceptor and Jetfire in their holo-forms.

"A jungle world. Dome cities I see. Rodia it is." Master Yoda stated as he saw the vision. At this Perceptor's holographic eyes lit up and projected a hologram of the galaxy while a red light blinked into existence where Rodia was located.

"A house in Kay Tap Square. I see it too." Obi-wan added, receiving the same vision as the aged grandmaster.

"There's an ocean planet, home to Nautolans, Glee Anselm?" Mace Windu asked, after receiving the vision, even as Perceptor's holo-map blinked in the coordinates for the planet.

T'ra Saa searched for a vision about the planet, before stating, sadly, "I am afraid that I do not see Glee Anselm."

"I sense… A place I've been to before. Waterfalls. Naboo." Anakin stated, as seeing the location in his vision.

Yoda saw it as well as he answered, "Jan-Gwa. A village, southern sector. Sense it strongly, I do."

"The Gungan child was screaming." Anakin said, his voice sounding

Coming out of her vision, T'ra Saa assured the near panicking knight, "That was the future that you saw, young Skywalker. Do not worry. You still have time to prevent that outcome."

Anakin calmed down hearing the calming words of the order's eldest Jedi master, other than Master Yoda, of course. Master Saa has not been around since the early battles of the war, but her experience and motherly like nature that helped ease the concern of younger Jedi has made her invaluable to the order as an individual.

Yoda nodded at T'ra Saa's words before telling Anakin, "To Naboo you must go. Cad Bane you will find. With you, take your Padawan."

Anakin bowed, accepting his mission as he left to tell Ahsoka where they need to be while Hot Rod was still in recovery.

Once he left, Mace Windu asked his master, "You are certain there is no child on Glee Anselm?"

"Into the shadow of the dark side taken the child was. Shrouded is his fate from us." Yoda explained before noticing T'ra Saa's sorrowful expression, as he stated, "Great the loss is. But more children in danger there are."

Obi-wan soon stood up, "I shall leave for Rodia immediately."

"Find more younglings we will." Yoda told the Jedi master.

"This mission should go easily." He then looked over and asked, "That is if you do not mind assisting me again Jetfire."

"I would be happy to General Kenobi." The Aerialbot scientist stated, before his holo-form disappeared. getting himself to the Jedi hanger for the two to make their way to the planet Rodia.

After making the trip on his flagship, Anakin Skywalker, Ahsoka Tano, and the Mini-con team boarded the LAAT Gunship and was flown down to the Royal Nabooian Hanger of the palace. As he and those accompanying him, exited the craft he saw Captain Typho waiting to greet him with a Gungan dressed in military uniform.

"General Skywalker, they told us you were coming." Captain Typho stated as he saw the Jedi walking out of the Republic gunship. Though he was surprised to see the very advanced looking droids with them. The moment he saw the Autobot symbols, Gregar Typho realized his mistake and greeted the Autobot mini-cons with a brief salute.

When he got close Anakin asked, "Has the Gungan family been notified?"

"Captain Lunker here is in charge of the operation." Typho said, introducing the Gungan with him who nodded in greeting while Typho continued, "He will take you to Jan-Gwa city."

"Let me take the lead, Master. I've got a score to settle." Ahsoka requested, which earned an agreeable nods, snort, and growl from the mini-cons with her.

Anakin looked at Ahsoka and known she wants to settle the score with the bounty hunter, saying, "All right, go with the Gungan. I'll be there shortly."

Ahsoka nodded, accepting her mission as she and the mini-cons followed the Gungan. Once they were out of earshot, the Naboo security officer asked, "Not that I doubt you or your decisions, but are you certain that your padawan and the Autobots with her are able to capture the bounty hunter?"

"Ahsoka has my full confidence. And the Autobots with her are not a force to be trifled with despite their smaller size." Anakin assured the captain.

Gregar Typho nodded as he remembered how he went through the report of the battle involving the Separatist trying to bring that dead plague back. How the Autobots willing put their lives on the line to ensure that not one of the Decepticons broke in, or the droids broke out to keep all of the inhabitance of the planet safe from infection of the virus.

Night has fallen and Cad Bane, after escaping from Obi-wan Kenobi and the Autobot flyer Jetfire, delivered the Rodian baby to his employer and came to Naboo for his next target. The Gungan child of Naboo who has been listed as a potential Jedi. He landed his Rogue-class starfighter, wiping the navigational logs the moment he landed, exited and sneaked his way into the Gungan city of Jan-Gwa. Using his years of experience as a bounty hunter and all the skills of stealth he gained from his decade before reaching the house.

From there he peaked in from the top of the window and saw the female Gungan put her baby to sleep in its crib. After the mother left the room Bane opened the skylight and jumped down effortlessly and without making a sound. As soon as he reached in and pulled out what felt like the child. Bane pulled it out of the blanket and found it to be a toy. Bane narrowed his eyes, seeing as he has been tricked.

The closet door opened, Bane looked over his shoulder to see the padawan he had defeated days ago there, "Don't move, sleemo."

"You weren't the child I was expecting to find." Bane said, in an attempt to mock her, before seeing two of the Autobots from the ship coming into the room to back her up.

"Obviously." Ahsoka, answered, anger rising by how Bane had defeated and took the padawan braid from her when they last met.

Seeing as he was outnumbered, Bane stated, "You're quite clever, but naive."

He then took out his blaster and fired at the two mini-cons. They had to move to avoid being hit. Bane then used one of his wrist coms' functions to shoot out a cord and wrapped around the padawan's hand that held the lightsaber, pulling on it for the weapon to fly out of her hands and onto the ground. Steeljaw got himself in position to fire back, providing cover fire for Ramhorn who charged forward, hoping to get the bounty hunter once and for all. Bane activated his foot rockets and moved out of the way just in the nick of time. This resulted in the bruiser of the team to run through the opposite wall.

Ahsoka expertly dodge the next volley of blaster bolts as Bane used both of his blasters to fire on both Autobot and Padawan. Ramhorn came back through the hole he made in his charge.

Seeing Ahsoka without her lightsaber, Ramhorn noticed Cad Bane about to fire his blaster at the Torguta. Not needing to think twice about what needed to be done the Autobot mini-con turned and rushed to Ahsoka's aid. Bane fired and Ramhorn gave a cry of pain. The aggressive beast mini-con had used himself as a shield to protect the Padawan. Unfortunately the blaster bolt hit between the armor plating and hit the interior of his body.

"Ramhorn!" Ahsoka cried as she went to check on the Autobot. Steeljaw stared before growling and firing more at the Duros.

Bane sneered before turning in mid-air and fly out the house only for Anakin to jump the bounty hunter. Soon both Eject and Rewind came out of their hiding places and joined in the mid-air brawl. The extra weight of the Jedi and mini-cons caused Bane's rockets to give out, leaving the four to fall till they hit the roof of the Gungan's house and fought as they slid to the edge. The two fell, one a couple feet from the other. Eject and Rewind, used to missions similar to this on Cybertron, had been able to land on their feet before their arms shifted into their basic armaments.

Cad was about to make his escape when he saw himself at the end of one light saber, two humanoid mini-cons with blasters, and one snarling mechanical feline.

"Looks like we win." Ahsoka told the defeated bounty hunter, his teeth gritting as he knew she was right.

Rewind and Eject forced the Duros on his feet as Ahsoka got the cuffs on him and retrieved her Padawan braid, "I think I've earned the right to wear this again."

She reattached it to her headdress, while the two Autobots began to lead Bane away with a rough push. Ahsoka and Steeljaw noticed the baby Gungan cooing and giggling as both approached.

Steeljaw was curious as the baby girl reached for him but he kept his distance, knowing how the girl's mother, if not all the Gungans, reacted around him. Ahsoka gently caressed the baby's chin as she said to the baby's mother, "Your daughter is safe again."

"Do you really believe that!?" The Duros bounty hunter asked instilling fear in everyone. Steeljaw snarled at his words, but Eject forced Bane to keep walking with a hard shove. Ahsoka turned and reassured the Gungan mother. The baby turned and kept reaching for the beast like Autobot.

Getting an idea, Ahsoka turned and called, "Steeljaw, can you come over here please?"

Steeljaw and the Gungan mother looked at the Padawan in shock. Steeljaw wasn't sure if this was a good idea. The mother held tighter on her daughter, afraid of what might happen. The Togruta Padawan gave the mother assurance that the baby will be safe as she took the baby Gungan in her arms and motioned for the feline Minicon to approach. Steeljaw was not sure if this was a good idea, but seeing as the baby was going to start, what was it that the organics call it…? 'Cry'? If he did not comply. So keeping his professional demeanor, the feline Autobot slowly approached and sniffed the baby. She giggled as she was continued to being sniffed by the mechanical lifeform before her.

Ahsoka found it adorable, the baby Gungan bean reaching more as if she wanted to touch and ride the Autobot, "I think she wants to ride you."

Steeljaw's optics widen at thought, especially with his team in the area. But seeing as Rewind was busy with Ramhorn and Eject was escorting the prisoner onto the ship, the apparent leader of the Autobot Minicons laid down indicating for Ahsoka to place the baby on his back for a short time, "..This… Okay?.."

Ahsoka nodded while the baby Gungan was giggling a storm by how much she enjoyed being with the Autobot.

Rewind came out of the hut with Ramhorn over his shoulder. Concerned Ahsoka approached and asked, "Is he gonna be all right?"

"He'll be fine. Just need First-Aid's treatment and needing to link up with Blaster for a time being. Ramhorn took worse than this back on Cybertron." Rewind assured the Padawan. After returning the baby to her mother, Steeljaw approached and indicated for the slate grey armored mini-con to place the injured Ramhorn onto the feline's back.

"You certain, old friend? He is heavier than he looks you know…" Rewind asked, but getting a particular look from the feline, the humanoid Cybertronian sighed, "If you're absolutely certain…"

With Ramhorn on his back Steeljaw walked to the ship with Ahsoka and Rewind behind him. Ahsoka was taken aback by the determination that Steeljaw had to ensure his teammate's safety.

When their shuttle returned to the cruiser, Ramhorn remained on the shuttle with Rewind as he went to of the shuttle while contacting the Ark to ask for repairs from First-Aid when the Protectobots arrive to help rescue the children taken by Cad Bane. Steeljaw remained behind to speak to Ramhorn in Cybertronian, to give the temperamental bot orders to behave when First-Aid comes to repair him.

Rewind had gone to help Ahsoka and Anakin in the investigation of the starfighter that was found near Jan-Gwa city. Eject remained outside of the prisoner's cell as he looked in to see both Obi-wan Kenobi and Mace Windu interrogate the Duros bounty hunter. And it is not going in the Jedi's favor.

"We know you've taken at least two children." Obi-wan said to the bounty hunter before asking, angrily, "Where are they?"

Bane looked at the human before him and responded, curtly, "Beyond your reach."

"Who are you working for?" Mace Windu asked, glaring at the bounty hunter before him.

Bane looked at the bald human and answered, not cooperating at all, "I work alone."

"It is only a matter of time before we locate the holocron." Obi-wan continued what some troopers called 'good cop' routine as he suggested, "Make it easier on yourself."

"What are you going to do, Jedi, torture me?" Bane retorted, inwardly grinning, knowing that Jedi do not torture their prisoners.

Mace Windu then walked calmly closer to the bars, his back to them as he said, "You are indeed a strong willed individual, bounty hunter. However, I believe the fear of whoever you work for outweighs your fear of us."

Bane's face became hardened into a glare, knowing the Jedi would sense his fear about the sith lord who hired him, and what would happen if he gave out any intel. So as an honorable bounty hunter loyal to his client, Bane spat, "This conversation is over."

The two Jedi masters exited the cell as they saw Rewind and Steeljaw followed Ahsoka and Anakin, the looks on the two humans' faces show that their interrogation of the Duros failed.

"We tore the ship apart and we found nothing." Anakin said.

Eject looked over to his partner and asked, "He was that thorough?"

"Indubitably. The ship's computer was wiped clean even before he landed on Naboo. This Bounty Hunter is indeed a professional." Rewind told Eject, making the blue armored Autobot clench his fists.

"Not even the Decepti-creeps would steal Proto-forms… would they?" He asked looking at his oldest friend.

"Energon, definitely. Information, possibly. Other life-forms, uncertain." Rewind said looking the jock of the team.

Anakin's face became sterner as he suggested, "I think we'll have to use the force to make him talk."

"Is this going to be one of those Mind Trick things?" Eject asked, curiously. Rewind, as a scientist, was looking expectantly at the Jedi.

Obi-wan answered the mini-con, "Possible, but I don't think Bane is that weak."

"Maybe if we all concentrated on his mind together." Ahsoka suggested, looking at the four masters before her.

"Using the force to compel a strong mind to cooperate is risky. There is a danger that his mind could be destroyed in the process."

"Do we have another choice?" Anakin asked, looking around for a better option.

{We could use the Cortical Psychic Patch on him} They all heard a growl as they all turned to see Steeljaw approaching, glaring at Bane with the greatest amount of hatred ever.

"What?" Eject asked, able to understand his native language and added, "But you know that's outlawed by Autobot command since that freak show made the tech."

"Besides you do not know if it would even work on an organic mind like Bane." Rewind pointed out making the Jedi confused by the conversation.

{That was Ramhorn's suggestion.} Steeljaw told his teammates as he stood before the ray shield and commented, {I actually want to have some time alone with this piece of slag…}

That last comment made the two bipedal mini-cons look at their leader concerned as Ahsoka asked "What did just he say?"

"You don't want to know…" Both Rewind and Eject told her as they knew Steeljaw would never regress himself into using the most offensive word in the Cybertronian language unless he was very, very, angry.

While Steeljaw glared at Bane Obi-wan asked, "But what did he say before when he came in?"

"Oh… well, the cap told us that our raging red wanted to use a piece of Decepticon tech on Bane, but it's banned by Autobot command." Eject stated.

Windu crossed his arms as he asked, "And why would that be?"

Rewind then answered, "It is because the mind of the user and the mind of the person the patch connects them to could not only allow them to revisit memories one has. However, there is also risk for the mind of the target to enter the body of our compatriot, no matter how slim the chances are."

"That is an intrusion of privacy. I cannot believe someone from Cybertron would dare make such a horrible device." Obi-wan stated, though disappointed was on his face.

Eject stated, arms crossed, insulted by the insinuation that all Cybertronians like to enter some else's mind, "When you have a real sleemo sicko like Shockwave, morals are the least of your worries when he makes some kind of weapon."

Rewind then commented in Cybertronian, {He does have a point, Eject. Don't forget what the high castes did to those that they deemed 'Criminal offences'. Especially when someone spoke out against the Caste system.}

Hearing that made Eject shake himself at the memories of the punishments before the war. Seeing the mini-cons were talking in their language. The Jedi returned to Bane's cell as the three older Jedi stood before the table. Reaching out to the Force as they began their sync up plan. Ahsoka and Steeljaw stood at the far ends of them, and out of the way.

Rewind then said to counterpart, {This is a mistake, Prime would not agree to this…}

{Prime's not here. We need to make sure that what the Seps plan to do with the younglings do not go through.} Eject retorted, arms crossed. He doesn't like this either, but what choice do they have when lives of younglings are on the line.

Bane noticed and was wondering what the Jedi were thinking of doing this time.

"You will take us to the holocron." Anakin began, raising arm as he attempted the mind trick.

Bane smirked, apparently they thought he was like any other weak minded youngster in the galaxy, "Jedi mind tricks don't work on me."

"You will take us to the holocron." Obi-wan Kenobi echoed as Anakin spoke at the same time as the Jedi master.

This time Bane felt something in his mind as he snapped, resisting the power of the Jedi, "Forget it!"

"You will take us to the holocron." This time all three Jedi were synced up, focusing on the aged Duros' mind as to triplicate the strength of the influence of their mind trick attempt.

"I… I won't!" Bane shouted, the strength of the Jedi grown against his mind.

"And you will take us… NOW!" At the last word, all three Jedi shouted simultaneously as they pushed for more of the force to influence the bounty hunter's mind.

"I will take you…" Bane said, as if being under the power of the mind trick, he then came back to his senses and shouted, in pain, "No! Get out of my head!"

Soon the power of the three Jedi on his mind was causing him enough pain to writhe. that Ahsoka and Steeljaw began to worry that it might indeed break Bane's mind before he could lead them. He growled as he fought with all his being to not submit to this. His suffering did not last long as the Jedi lowered their arms, and Bane's pain ceased.

"Perhaps we should try again." Anakin suggested, finishing the sentence with clear hostility to the bounty hunter.

Bane held up a hand, telling them, "I… I've had enough of that."

Looking up at them, Bane told them what they wanted to hear, "I'll take you to the holocron. You'll get your children back."

Though in the back of his mind, he will get the Jedi back for this…

Outside the cell, Eject and Rewind glanced at each other while the intelligent Autobot went to the bridge to make his report to Kup.

When the aged Autobot heard this, he immediately gave the Protectobots clearance and the location of the ship the mini-cons were on. The ship they were given was a proto-type vessel that would allow them to reach their coordinates fast due to a Hyperdrive that the engineer Bluestreak, Build team, and the two scientists, Perceptor and Jetfire, put together to give it hyper speed capabilities.

When they were far enough away to do it properly, Streewise looked at the resident flyer and asked, "You sure you can fly this ship, Blades?"

"Come on! You saw how the republic, how hard can it be?" Blades asked, looking at the controls to do what he was told by one of the flight instructors did when they used him to test flight the Hyperdrive in his alt. mode after he scanned that N1-Starfighter from Naboo.

As he looked. First-Aid got his medical equipment ready, while Streetwise made sure to secure himself from anything. Groove joined him, normally he's the cherry kind of guy but with how Blades flown aircrafts before, even he had to worry. Seeing what was happening, Rook asked, feeling a little concerned, "Should I be worried about our possible demise?"

Hotspot however said, "No need to go crazy, Blades. Just be careful, we don't know what'll happen when the Hyperdrive gets a taste of Energon."

"Yeah, yeah. Don't distract me…" Blades said, waving his hand non-chalantly. He then punched in the coordinates into the ship's computer as he then held onto the accelerator and said, grimely, "Hold on to your rear bumpers."

And pulled the lever. Immediately they felt the sensations and saw how the stars were before entering hyperspace. Even as Streetwise and Rook held onto each other in fright and screamed, "WE'RE GONNA DIE!"

The fear of them blowing up, or worse, was fresh in their minds.

Back onboard the Jedi cruiser, an arm guard were leading Bane to the hanger as Anakin asked, "Where are the Protectobots? I thought they'd be here by now?"

"I'm not certain, but I'm afraid we cannot wait for them…" Obi-wan stated leading the guard and the still cuffed Bane to Jetfire who was awaiting them.

They heard Jetfire mutter, "I told Kup that the ship wasn't ready… I just knew Blades was going to do something to make it fail… Besides there is still no assurance that the combinations of our two techonologies would actually work."

"Master Kenobi is correct." Mace Windu stated, looking over to Jetfire and the mini-cons nearby and said, "I am certain that the four of you will be necessary for this. Should the unforeseen happen."

The moment they got closer to Jetfire, Master Windu brought up, "Speaking of which, the chancellor wants a report on our progress."

"Tell him this is not Republic business. It's an internal Jedi affair." Obi-wan stated, to which Eject nodded with a comment, "Can say that again. Why's he so interested in this anyway? Doesn't he have a galaxy to run?"

"I'm sorry to disagree," Anakin said to his masters, "but as long as the Jedi are acting as a military, we should report to the chancellor, even on internal matters such as this."

His words made a bemused Obi-wan to share a look with Mace before he told his former padawan, a hand on his shoulder, "Well, then, I guess you just volunteered to go."

"Give the chancellor my regards." Obi-wan told him patting his shoulder as he went to board Jetfire's alt. mode.

"Wait a minute." Anakin began to protest, cannot believe his former master took his words as a volunteer notice.

"I agree." Mace added, before telling the younger Jedi Knight, "Report back here when you are finished."

"This could be a trap, Generals." Rewind pointed out, being cautious, "Are you certain you do not require more backup?"

"Of course it's a trap." Obi-wan said, looking back at Anakin as Eject, Rewind, and Steeljaw walked up the ramp into Jetfire's alt. mode. He then assured Anakin by saying, "I will contact you when we find the children."

After he entered the ship, Jetfire closed the ramp and took off into space, as the lower hanger doors opened.

Once they were clear of the cruiser, the two Jedi were getting Jetfire ready to travel through Hyperspace. But, the only thing they needed now was…

"The coordinates." Mace Windu demanded from Bane.

"The coordinates are 673117 cross 7RB71." Bane told them as it confused the two Jedi.

"That will take us into the far reaches of the Outer Rim, neutral space." Obi-wan said, not making sense of why the location of both Holocron and kidnapped children would be there.

Eject got close and told the bounty hunter, "You better stick to the truth, Steeljaw's olfactory sensors are second to none in either Cybertron or this galaxy. He can even sniff out if you're lying."

Hearing Steeljaw growing at him from behind, Bane asked, "Do you want your holocron and your kids or not, Jedi? Besides I doubt I would lie since your fourlegged friend's sitting right behind me…"

Cody, Mace Windu, Obi-wan looked to each other before the dark skinned jedi pulled the lever and away they went into Hyperspace to the coordinates.

The two approached the Chancellor's office, the door opened and Chancellor Palpatine walked through the threshold to greet his young friend, "Anakin, it is good to see you."

"Your Excellency." Anakin lowered his head in respect to the supreme chancellor of the republic.

Palpatine turned to Anakin's apprentice who smiled, nervously to someone of Palpatine's importance in the republic. The chancellor however stated, "Excuse us, child."

His comment made Ahsoka feel a little disappointed, but understood as her master was a general and she was a commander. The two went into the chancellor's office to discuss the current situation with the Jedi and the bounty hunter. Palpatine was the first to speak, "I understand you made an important arrest in the plot to destroy the Jedi."

The two reached the large windows of his office that overlooked the grand metropoles that was the heart of the government he was elected to serve.

"Do you think a simple bounty hunter could create such a plan? Or was it the Decepticons who conceived this plan?" Palpatine asked looking at the Jedi whom he had gotten close to during the beginning of his term as Supreme Chancellor of the Republic.

Anakin shook his head and gave his own theory of the matter, "I believe someone else, someone much more powerful, was behind this. I don't think it was Dooku. And I do not believe that someone like the Decepticon general would be a part of something that is not a benefit to the Separatist."

"Oh?" Palpatine asked, before looking to the young general and asked, interested for reasons that Anakin cannot fathom, "And have you any clues as to who it may be?"

"Not yet, chancellor." Anakin answered, curious.

Palpatine then placed his hand on the young Jedi's shoulder and pat it granfatherly, "Have patience, my boy."

He then asked, "I understand that the Protectobots had taken one of their ships with the first hyperdrive that they had constructed themselves. In order to coordinates the rescue effort of the poor children that were taken by said bounty hunter. Correct?"

"Yes…" Anakin stated, still confused on where they went.

Palpatine chuckled grandfatherly and said, keeping his hand on the young Jedi's shoulder, "Do not worry on the how or when, just focus on the moment that they do arrive to assist you. After all many of our troops and planets would have suffered greatly had the Autobots not come. I'm sure we can be lenient on them to understand how to pilot through hyperspace for the first time and not hold on the hulls of the ships as they do."

Anakin then remembered his first time traveling through hyperspace when he was a boy of eight when Quigon Jin found him on Tatooine.

"I know… thank you, your Excellency." Anakin said, grateful for the wisdom from the politician.

Patting his shoulder a third time, Palpatine stated, "Any time, my boy."

Meanwhile on volcanic world of Mustafar, in a secret facility that was empty of much except for the cries of two babies.

"There, there, child." The voice of Darth Sidious assured the infant before him, "Soon you will cry no more."

Instead of appearing in person, he was using an astromech droid to project him into the facility's room via hologram as he looked over everything involving this project.

One of the droids programmed to serve him approached, "Master, subjects of this age rarely survive the slave conditioning procedure."

"And I'm afraid the risk is necessary." Sidious told the droid in a matter of fact voice. He then began to explain the details about his plan to the droid, "The natural talent these children possess is too great to be wasted by the Jedi. I foresee an army of force-talented spies in my service, trained in the dark side to peer into every corner of the galaxy from afar. And my enemies would be helpless against such vision."

After calming down from the greatness of his vision, he stated, not worried at all about the lives of the babies he took, "If the surgery fails, I will have lost nothing."

"And we will be ready for anyone should the bounty hunter betray you, my lord." The sith lord and the two droids turned to see twin human males with scars, one over the left eye of one of the twins, the other had the scars over the right eye.

Sidious went to greet them, "Ah, Karoc and Vinoc. I am pleased you joined us here on this momentous day."

The twins bowed in respect to the Sith lord as Vinoc stated, "When Lord Tyranus told us that you requested extra security."

"We were willing to show our combined strength will be of use to you for your mission, Master Sidious." Karoc finished as the two knelt before the hologram of their Sith master.

"After all. How can one Jedi fight against the two of us?" Vinoc asked knowing how he and his twin brother never failed a mission when together. However the council had begun to doubt the strong bond of attachment between the twins would be set right within the code. In order to ensure they remained together and at full strength the twins left the order. If they couldn't be together on missions as Jedi then they will remain at each other's side away from the order.

Sidious smiled evilly at the twins, if it wasn't for this war then the two would have been forced to be separated which cut their strength in half and had their strength squandered on missions instead of being together.

"We also have brought an ally with us who wished to work alongside against his general's command." Vinoc said, reaching into his robe's sleeve to reveal a medical scanner. Placing it onto the floor the three watched as it shifted, grew, and transformed into an arachnid legged Cybertronian with big optics and what appears to be glassed over its optics. Looking around until it saw the hologram and said, "Meine Lord."

Sidious stared at the decepticon that was once a handheld medical scanner had grew into half the height of Master Yoda even though its legs compensated for its diminutive body like an arachnid species found in the galaxy.

"What is this!? I thought the Decepticons where not interested in something unrelated to their mission or the war!" Sidious demanded seeing the decepticon before him. Still upset that their leader had rebuffed the request for their support on Bane's mission.

"I am Scalpel! Zee General vas a fool for not considering zee repercussions of vis act against zee alliance vith your order. However, I am not so shortsighted! I vish to examine vis "Force Abilities" fount in zese protoforms and continue meine research in scrapping zee Autobot infidels!" The mini-con Decepticon explained himself loudly for them to hear him before it crawled up to one of the babies and looked at it interested the fact something so underdeveloped could contain as great as a power as he heard the Sith lord state earlier.

"But first ve must ensure zee survival of zee subjects for zee experiment! Chop chop!" and began to work on making sure that the children would survive the experiment. It them went on a very fast pace to examine the children before jumping and moving over the controls for the device in Sidious' slave conditioning device. As well as rudely push the droid on the console away before using his legs to type on the keyboard to adjust the setting so it would work without risking the potential subjects.

Sidious was at first enraged at the micro sized mini-con worked its way on the computers before the droid approached, "Master, that miniature droid has made the calculations giving the subjects of this age. This type of equation is on a level that I cannot calculate."

Sidious stared as the decepticon medic turned and announced, "Vith zese adjustments your experiment vill succeed vithout any complications, except for a minor pain to zere processorz!"

As Scalpel worked, they were not, however, aware of something small, about the size of a Kouhun, remained hidden and still, opening its optics the drone waited patiently until the three darkside users were not paying attention as it slithered over and inserted a tiny syringe into the arm of the Nautoloan child. Feeling the pain made the child crying. However, it had already taken was required and made its' way over to its master, the decepticon doctor Scalpel. Once his back was away from the Sith and his followers, the drone merged with its master to give it the sample of the organic baby's blood. Before slithering away to the Rodian baby. While the nurse droids were tending to the babies, Scalpel's assistant then open it's vocal port and two fly sized micro-drones flew out and took blood samples from the more experienced force wielders.

As he worked Scalpel grinned to himself, unable to contain the excitement of buying the trust of these organics and do his own experiment to further the Decepticon cause for Obsidian.

The team of Obi-wan, Mace Windu, the mini-cons, and Jetfire, arrived at the deep reaches of the Outer Rim, which happened to be in a thick asteroid field. With giant asteroids that not even the Autobots or Decepticons would not survive if hit by them. Even those who have stronger physical strength like Ironhide, Lugnut, or even one of the Horrorcons.

After maneuvering through they arrive at a space station, completely undamaged by the field.

"We'll be fine, Cody." Obi-wan assured his regimental commander, before ordering, "Stay here and watch the ship."

"Yes, sir. I'll keep the ship running." Cody stated. Rewind picked up on the tone in the clone's voice and was concerned.

Eject noticed his friend not following and asked, "Yo! Rewind, you coming?"

"Mmm… I believe I should remain behind. After all someone has to make sure that Jetfire does not sustain damage from the giant asteroids out there." Rewind stated before Eject saw the concern that his best friend had for Cody and said, "Stay in the dugout then."

Rewind then replied in Cybertronian, placing his hand on Eject's shoulder, {Thank you, my brother.}

{Anytime, my friend.} Eject assured Rewind, mirroring his friend's actions before the two separated.

When he caught up, Eject joined the others at the center of the room as the middle of the floor began to rise up. All the while hoping that nothing else ends with a hitch…

Back on the Resolute, Anakin had returned, but with Master Saa, as he and Ahsoka went through the ship Bane had used again. While waiting Master Saa approached, attracted to the pain of the Autobot awaiting for the medic to arrive and placed her hand close to his wound. Ramhorn growled, but Master Saa calmed him down and used the Force to heal him. Everyone present was shocked to see the damage undoing itself and the metal skin regrowing in place as it looked good as new. This shocked both Autobot and everyone who saw, alike.

Ahsoka noticed and asked, "That's amazing… How did you do that?"

"I simply applied the same technique of Force Healing to help this brave warrior from his wound." Master Saa stated while Ramhorn stood up and shook his body a bit before staring back at Master Saa.

Anakin then commented, "I thought that technique only works on organic beings."

"The living force resides within all beings no matter if they are organic or metallic. And though our friends are from another galaxy, they are as attuned to the force as we are due to the lifeblood within them. As a river helped a tree from a different planet to grow again." Master T'ra Saa stated before she stood and approached the turbo-lift to the bridge, "Now let us see if I can help our wayward friends back to us."

Once the older Jedi had left, the two Jedi began looking ovr everything involving Bane's ship. Anakin sat in the cockpit and looked through one of the more likely systems, "Well, the piloting systems are clean."

He then asked, "You check the landing gear?"

"Double-checked it." Ahsoka answered from underneath on a hover _.

"I have the feeling Master Windu and Obi-Wan could've used our help." Ahsoka commented.

"I don't like being out of the action either, but somebody's got to do this job. Especially with Rewind helping us with finding more about the ship."

"And it always ends up being us." Ahsoka dryly commented, before noticing ash on her fingers and pointed out, "Bane picked up a lot of volcanic ash on his travels."

R2-D2 began to beep as Ahsoka asked, get up from where she was to the starfighter's bridge, "What have you got, Artoo?"

R2-D2 beeped his answer as the little droid pulled up a holo-screen in front of Anakin.

"Looks like Bane erased his navigation records, but not his fuel computer." Anakin said as he looked at the number of planets this starfighter has been to that was registered in the fuel computer.

Ahsoka joined her master by sitting on the side of the cockpit and asked, confused, "So?"

"If we cross the list of planets we know he visited with the distance he traveled-" Anakin began, to which his padawan finished, getting where her master was going with this, "We may be able to calculate where else he went. That's a new one."

"It's an old Jedi trick we use to track down smugglers." Anakin told her as he looked through the planets and begun to read through the list, "Okay, let's see. Glee Anselm, Rodia, Mustafar, Naboo –"

"Wait, Mustafar?" Ahsoka asked, looking at the planet listed in the fuel computer. And commented, "There were no children on Mustafar."

"It's a mining world, very remote." Anakin told her before suggested, "Probably stopped there to refuel."

"That explains the ash, but it was six systems out of his way." Ahsoka told him before theorizing, "Maybe he met up with whoever he's working for."

Seeing the gears turning in her master's mind, Ahsoka asked, "It's worth a look, isn't it?"

"Anything to get out of this hangar." Anakin stated, as he got out of the cockpit and walked over to tell Master Saa what they found.

The doors leading to the hanger opened and Master Saa approached, "We have made contact with the Protectobots and are helping them through Hyperspace to our coordinates. They will be here in matter of seconds."

"What happened to them anyway, Master Saa?" Ahsoka asked, curious.

Saa let out a gentle smiled and stated, "They had found themselves near the outter Rim territories and have been trying to find their way back since."

She let out a soft laugh and added, "Speaking to Wedge has enlighten us that it is most likely the cause of Energon entering the Hyperdrive's power relays and sent them farther than intended at a faster time."

Anakin sighed at this even as they felt the arrival of the Autobot ship approaching. And sending a dropship their direction. Where Blades, First-Aid, and Streetwise were awaiting them to enter their ship. But was surprised the three of them, especially the medic of the team, was that the wounded Minicon warrior wasn't as wounded anymore. And waiting for them as Streetwise asked, "What the scrap happened while we were fixing Blades' mistake?"

"Hey! How many apologizes do I haveta give ya!" Blades snapped before asking, "So we're going find the stolen protoforms right?"

"Yeah, come on, we'll explain on the way to your shuttle." Anakin said as the three Jedi hurried into the Cargo-ship, the Twilight, and dropped into the lower hatch into space before going to land in the Autobot ship's small hanger as Blades, with the help of Master Saa went to punch in the coordinates for Hyperspace travel, and how much power needed to get there to prevent a repeat of what happened before. As Anakin reported what they found to Hotspot. While this was going on First-Aid ran a full diagnostics on Ramhorn to make sure that what he saw was truly possible when the Jedi master explained her ability to use the force to heal wounds.

Within minutes they arrived of the mining world of Mustafar and immediately Master Saa felt lightheaded.

"You alright, general?" Rook asked, using a hand to catch the master who assured him, "Yes… I just…"

Looking down at the planet she stated, "I sense a great darkness there…"

Taking her words into consideration, and knowing how dangerous a planet like Mustafar is to Autobots, Hotspot ordered, "Alright, bots, listen up. We are going in

Sidious stood, waiting as the miniature Decepticon worked with the devices necessary to transmit the slave conditioning protocols to use. Just as the droid was about to place the device on the infant's face the other nurse droid approached his hologram and the fallen twins, with a report, "Master, two starships are approaching this facility. It is not the bounty hunter."

Sidious grimaced as he stated, "This was unexpected."

Turning to the twins, he ordered, "Evacuate the children to my secondary facility. I'm afraid this installation is lost. We must destroy all the evidence. Turn off the gravity supports and let the building sink into the lava. And destroy the two droids."

"I beg your pardon, sir." One of the nurse droid asked, shocked by this order.

Both Karoc and Vinoc bowed, "As you command, Lord Sidious."

Soon the hologram of Sidious disappeared as the twins stood up facing each other before turning to both droids and activated their lightsabers simultaneously.

Fearing the prospect of battle between laser swords, Scalpel grabbed his assistant drone and screamed as he ran, "I VILL BE VAITINK IN ZEE SCHIP!"

The two nurse droids attempted to escape by retreating. Even as the twins picked up the two children and approached menacingly to the droids.

The Autobot dropship landed on the roof of the facility while the twilight landed on the only spare landing port. When the three jedi made got out, Ahsoka asked, "You sure this is the right place?"

"We're gonna find out." Anakin told her as the three approached the facility.

However Ahsoka felt with the force and told her master, "I sense something, Masters, and I don't like it."

"What you feel is the dark side, Padawan Tano. It permeates with this planet…" Master T'ra Saa told the young Torguta padawan, her expression became serious.

"That means this is the right place, right?" Streetwise asked, looking to the Jedi, Anakin nodded.

The Jedi began to make their way into the building but Hotspot asked, "What if you need help' in the case you're in need of assistance?"

"Don't worry Hotspot, we will be fine." Anakin assured him before stating, "But in any case, please remain out here in case the perpetrator of this crime comes out to their own ship."

"Gotcha." Hotspot stated, giving a thumbs up as he and his teammates wait outside while the three jedi went inside. They continued walking until they heard the sound of a baby's cry.

"Did you hear that?"

"Yeah, I heard it."

"The question is, where are they?" Master Saa asked, reaching out to the force for the answer.

Ahsoka focused until she found what they were looking for, "This way."

Immediately the three Jedi, and R2 hurried off to where the padawan sensed the children. They soon arrived at a door, where both Anakin and T'ra Saa ignited their light sabers and began to cut through the door to make a hole through the locked door.

The twins were about to slash at the nurse droids before Vinoc stopped him, "Do you sense that?"

"Yes. They are close." Karoc answered, as the two lowered their weapons and deactivated them.

The two looked at each other before nodding and said to the droids, and Vinoc proposed a compromise to the droids, "If you wish to remain functional, you will deactivate the gravity supports now and we will tell our master of your involvement."

"Understood…" The first of the nurse droids said as it went to the console announcing, "All gravity supports off."

"Quick, the Jedi are coming." The other droid told them.

Soon the four inside heard and saw two lightsabers cutting into the door to make a hole, while the twins could felt a strong presence with the other two Jedi.

Vinoc ordered, "Turn out the lights."

While he and his twin used the darkness to hide themselves while the droids turned it off and they too hid themselves. The hole was completed and the twins could see Anakin Skywalker, his Torguta padawan, and someone the two had not seen since before the war. The Neti Jedi Master, T'ra Saa as they entered the lab and looked in the cribs.

"We're too late." Ahsoka stated, grieving the loss of not reaching the children in time.

T'ra Saa placed her hand on the padawan's shoulder, comfortingly as she assured, "Do not despair, I can sense they're still here."

"You would be correct, Master Saa." A male voice said, making the three ignite their lightsabers.

The three Jedi turned and saw that standing there in black tunic was a human man with pale skin, black hair and short beard, a scar across his right eye, going from the hair line close to his beard. T'ra Saa focused on his face and asked, "Karoc?"

They heard footsteps and saw a man identical to Karoc standing behind them, his scar was across his left eye and Anakin asked, "Vinoc?"

The left eye scarred twin smirked, "Been awhile Skywalker."

"We have been waiting for you." Karoc told them as he and his brother pulled out their respective lightsabers.

"So we can kill you three for our master." Vinoc finished as the two ignited their lightsabers and T'ra Saa closed her eyes saddened by this realized what the red blades of their lightsabers meant to her.

"You betrayed the Jedi order." Anakin accused anger building.

Karoc handed the baby Nautholean to the nurse droid while Vinoc did the same with the Rodian baby as the eldest twin said, "No. The order betrayed us. The council feared that our united power would lead us down to the darkside instead of leaving us into the light."

"They tried to separate us in an attempt to make us more submissive to their heartless doctrine. Not knowing that by separating the two of us, we could not be as efficient as Jedi and therefore leading to our deaths and fall." The younger twin added as the two got into their stances and said together, "It was Count Dooku who saw our potential together and recruited us both after we left the order. Showing us the way to be strong and together."

"And for his kindness of allowing us to remain together, we owe him our undying loyalty." Karoc finished as the two begun their attack. Both Anakin and Master T'ra blocked while struggling to lock their enemies sabers in place as Anakin ordered, "Ahsoka, get the younglings back from the droids."

"On it master." Ahsoka yelled as she went and cut the two droids off from escaping. Soon the twins begun their assault. T'ra and Anakin were using as much of their training to block their attacks, but the twins attacked in a way that was precise and deadly that Anakin can see why that being together would be important for the two. But why would the council try to separate them, unless… they suspected the twins being attached to each other more so than Masters Tiplee and Tiplar.

T'ra stuck with her blade but was blocked by Karoc who defended his brother while Vinoc moved around his brother's blade and attacked, only for Anakin to block that attack.

Ahsoka was having cut the droids off from escaping, began to fight them, making sure to not hurt the younglings.

"Be careful of the younglings." Anakin told his padawan as he and Master Saa kept fighting against the twins.

"I know!" Ahsoka shot back as she fought the droids.

As the twins fought the Jedi, they were wondering why the facility hasn't fallen into the lava yet when the gravity supports were deactivated. Remembering their training from both their years in the Jedi Order as well as their training as part of the Dark Acolyte training to fight someone of T'ra Saa's skill and Skywalker's strength.

As he fought them, Anakin couldn't believe how coordinated and precise Karoc and Vinoc were in a lightsaber fight as he had to use the force to match their speed. He also had to trust Master Saa in watching his back as the two fought the most skilled twins in the history of the order. According to what he heard about and read from the younglings and other Jedi by the time he was seventeen that together they had never failed a mission together. He even heard a rumor that when one of the Jedi Masters wanted to choose Karoc to be his padawan, he respectfully refused to not be separated from Vinoc. These two definitely earned their reputation as the greatest pair of fighters that the Jedi had trained.

But hopefully the two would be too focused on him and Master Saa while Ahsoka gets the younglings back unbeknownst to everyone, Scalpel had returned and was waiting for the right moment and struck. Soon, one after the other, Ahsoka, T'ra Saa, and Anakin Skywalker all gave a cry of pain as they saw the eight legged mini-con with the decepticon symbol on its chest standing on five of its lefts and each one it held had blood samples of the three jedi as he chuckled darkly.

"Scalpel!" Karoc yelled.

Vinoc then demanded, "You dare intrude on our battle, Decepticon?"

"I vas only assistink you! Un for meine research!" the medic of the decepticon screamed before scurrying off, made sure to secure the samples he got out of there. Even though the Jedi were there, the twins were annoyed that the miniature decepticon had interrupted their battle and chased after him. Before they could pursue, the building began to break apart and the younglings were about to fall through the developing cracks on the floor. Underneath, the Jedi and Dark Acolytes noticed the glowing blue eyes of the giant Autobot combiner underneath as the Jedi could see how he was focusing on saving their lives, no matter affiliation.

"Until next time, Skywalker." Vinoc bided before he and his brother hurried to leave with their lives, back to their ship.

After getting the younglings back, the three Jedi went to the door, only to find, "The panel's fried."

"Where's Artoo?" Anakin asked. As if hearing the question, the door opened to reveal R2-D2 on the other side beeping to them. The three Jedi hurried to the Twilight in order to escape the facility.

While he was starting the takeoff cycle, Anakin spoke into his coms, "Protectobots!-"

The five members of the Protectobots remained where they were as they waited for anything. Blades sitting on the roof the building felt it shaking as some of the building began leaning down as if the gravity supports for the facility were turned off.

"Umm, guys." Blades said, catching the attention of the other Protectobots.

Groove's optics widened shouting, "Building sinking. Building Sinking!"

Hotspot looked to his teammates and ordered, "We must give our friends inside time to save the younglings! Protectobots, form Defensor!"

All at once the five Autobots jumped into the air, transformed into their vehicle modes before combining into their giant mode.

The Autobot giant then fell past the hideout. The Protectobot combiner activated his onboard rockets and pushed himself to keep the building steady for the Jedi to complete their mission.

While keeping the building from falling, Defensor felt something hit his torso area and found a droid of some kind on it. The other one, which hit its head unit on his leg, fell to the lava below. The other was holding onto the giant Autobot as it seemed it did not want to be destroyed.

"Protectobots! We have the kids, get yourselves back to the ship, we're leaving!" The Protectobots heard Anakin say over the comms. Relieved to hear that the children were safe, the Protectobot gestalt pushed the section of the building it was holding upwards, speaking through the coms, "On our way."

Defensor then grabbed hold of the droid in his left hand. Then using his rockets into the push himself off, away from the sinking building before flying to their dropship.

When they got close to the dropship, Defensor separated into his five components. Blades and Streetwise hurried to the flight controls while First Aid held the droid down in before making it go into a powered down mode to repair and question it later when they return to the Ark. After returning to the ship where Rook and a ticked off Ramhorn were waiting, Hotspot grabbed his chair and ordered, "Get us back to the republic cruiser! We'll follow them through Hyperspace."

Blades pushed controls forward to make the ship fly with the Twilight before they entered into Hyperspace and left the planet. Unaware that a Separatist shuttle had also left Mustafar.

When they returned to the ship, Ahsoka, Anakin, and T'ra Saa had taken the cruiser back to the Republic capitol world, while using the journey through hyperspace to give the kidnapped children a physical to make sure they were not harmed nor there was anything added to them while they were captive by the bounty hunter's employer. Fortunately both the medical droid and First-Aid, who used his holo-form while in the hanger of the cruiser, came to make sure nothing Cybertronian was added. The two children had passed and listed clean of anything added to them. They soon made their exit from hyperspace over Coruscant as the Jedi away on this particular mission had returned to give their account of what happened. Anakin and Ahsoka were relieved to see that Obi-wan and master Windu had come back safe from their mission to retrieve the holocron.

The council members that were there sat as both Anakin and master Saa gave their report on what happened after they were able to locate the true location of the kidnapped children. How they were confronted by the twins Karoc and Vinoc who had joined Dooku, falling to the darkside. How they had to fight while keeping the twins distracted long enough for Ahsoka to save the children from a pair of nurse droids. How it was the protectobots who had combined and kept the facility they were in from coming apart with the gravity support systems off. Anakin finished the report when the battle ended abruptly by the fact that a Decepticon alligned Mini-con named "Scalpel" had attacked taking samples of their blood in his metal claws as he ran away were the twins had chased after him. upon hearing the name of the decepticon medic, Kup face hardened.

"The base was completely destroyed, Master, and so was any clue who's behind this." Anakin said, ending his report to the Jedi Council.

Kup grimaced when he heard how that decepticon medic was involved. Sensing the concern in the aged Autobot's thoughts Obi-wan asked, "I take it that you know of this miniature Decepticon?"

"Unfortunately I do." Kup said as he stated, "Despite being a one of the mini-con subspecies on Cybertron, he is as deadly as he is helpful as a medic to the Decepticon army. Many bots fell to either his deviousness or his vicious methods of medicine on Cybertron. Especially when he partners up with the Biological Warfare specialist, Oil Slick."

"That is… disconcerting…" Obi-wan admitted, even Ahsoka felt afraid of the decepticon that she previously though she could handle.

Yoda took all of this into account before stating, especially the fall of the order's two most prominent members, "Most unfortunate, this is."

"But, we still have Bane." Anakin stated, looking to his master and Master Windu who shared a glance.

Ahsoka sighed as she asked, almost rhetorically, "He got away again?

"The important thing is that the children are safe and we've recovered the holocron." Obi-wan assured them of the primary concerns of these events.

Mace Windu then added, "The list is intact, and there is no evidence it was copied."

"Still, the future of all Jedi uncertain is. Move forward cautiously we must." Yoda consulted, as he found how the Decepticon medic took blood samples of three of their order as well as the signs of someone took blood samples from the younglings as well… in his eight hundred years, Yoda begun to wonder what the Decepticons are planning with these blood samples?

"I got a question, What're ya young fellas gonna do about the kids taken?" Kup asked turning to the Jedi.

they were silent before Mace Windu answered, "We will be needing to take the children into the temple in order to keep this from happening again."

Kup narrowed his optics and spat, "Spoken like the tyrants that those twins accused you of being."

Mace Windu's eyes and the eyes of some of the council assembled there had widened. While Mace Windu heard how his former friend, Master Prosset Dibs, had called them that involving themselves in the war, when the Miraluka Jedi stood trial on the grounds of having to try and kill him on the planet Hissrich. Anakin however hardened his face as he spoke, "You have no right to speak that way about the Jedi, General Kup."

"Then prove me wrong lad. Bring the kids kidnapped back to their families and see they feel it safer with them until it's the proper time to bring them to the temple." Kup challenged, "I will even have two of my best cloaker agents to make sure that they are safe from any threat."

The Titan floated above capital planet of the Confederacy of Independent Systems, Raxus Secundus, as it remained in this idle state, this was the most logical location for the ship as it would take less Energon to start the ship near the planet's moon than have them blast off from the planet's surface. They even made the planet's moon a colony for them renaming it, "New Kaon". He remembered how he named it after the gladiatorial city in honor of his master who had worked his way up to become the champion of the pits before stepping into the political world. He explained to the confederacy how it was named that for the two of them to work their way up in their alliance to defeat their enemy and bring peace to their galaxy until they had finished their mission.

Obsidian stood on the hull of his ship before his auditory sensors picked up a familiar foot step and inquired, through a private coms channel between himself and the doctor of doom, "Did you retrieve what was needed?"

"All zat and more, Herr general!" Scalpel answered showing the decepticon flyer his success with not just the two blood samples from the organic protoforms but also the samples more developed Jedi who happened to have been there when he bought the favor of the Sith master.

Obsidian smiled seeing the samples and stated, "Excellent. We shall begin with the project immediately with the Constructicons."

Scalpel chuckled as he rested on the air general's shoulder as they returned inside the ship. He even handed the small samples to his assistant drone to hold as it snaked its way to his personal med bay. Scalpel's euphoria of research was cut short when he heard Obsidian stated, "Of course, after you complete the design specs of the device you will need to suffer the consequences for our alliance."

Shock was evident in the mini-con's face as Obsidian explained his logic, "We cannot let Sith or Confederacy know that we would not punish any of our own for getting in the way of the mission."

With his organic blood samples already being delivered to the computer, he had nothing to protect himself from this show of cooperation, Scalpel breathed, "Slaggink schrap!"

( And done! I can't believe how large this chapter became just because I wanted to add some detail to the fighting as well as additions of characters. Specaking of which; I know i probably had forgotten to ask this in the last chapter but can anyone guess which quartet of characters I had used to help bring the personalities of the four autobot aligned mini-cons out? If you guess all correctly you will gain bragging rights.

By the way what did you think about how Scalpel had taken blood samples from both the babies and the more developed Force-users? What could the Decepticons be planning with this need for blood samples of those Force sensitive beings i wonder? let me know what you all think of this chapter in the review.
