Just so you know (Name): The name Christina comes from "Christiana", the Latin feminine form of "Christian". This was the name of an early, possibly legendary, saint who was tormented by her pagan father. It was also borne by a 17th-century Swedish queen and patron the arts who gave up her crown in order to become a Roman Catholic.

I don't own Harry Potter, JKR does.

Their Own School

Christina Potter never thought that she would come to say it; but she wasn't all that enthused staying in Hogwarts as she had been before her first year.

When Hagrid, the Groundskeeper of Hogwarts, came to her with an acceptance letter from Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry and told her that she was a witch (which explained why she could change her appearance or why she could do inexplicable things that most of the time resulted her in getting in trouble), she had jumped right into this new world, especially since she was sure that now she could find acceptance and could have a better future to herself.

While buying her school's supplies, Christina learned that her parents hadn't died in a drunken car crash as her Aunt and Uncle liked to remind her over and over again. They had actually died to protect her from the magical version of Hitler, a Dark Lord called Voldemort. This also made her learn that she was famous and more or less worshipped for surviving that night and the Killing Curse, which no else in story had done, and for defeating Voldemort. Or so those lunatics liked to say. Christina was sure that she had done nothing to defeat the Dark Lord, who was so powerful and fearful that people even refused to say his name, and she had a few suspicions and theories that her mother had actually done something against him that lead to his so called defeat.

While at the magical shopping district – Diagon Alley –, she had stopped at the book store and brought any and all books that called her attention (She had enough money to buy all the books in the shop, but she had been told by the Goblin who took her to her vault, that she most likely had a family library full of rare books inside her family vault – which she could only access at thirteen –, so she didn't buy too much).

Christina, after hearing that Hogwarts was the best magical school of the Europe, had decided that she would excel and thrive there. She would be their best student, especially because now she didn't have to fear her Uncle or Aunt beating her because she had received higher grades than Dudley (She had started to do poorly in school after the beating she received for getting top marks in her first year in Primary School).

After she finished buying her books, she had brought a whole new wardrobe (which she had hidden in a shrunken truck. Her relatives would destroy her new clothes if they found it) and had also gotten everything else that she would need.

At the train to Hogwarts, she made three friends, who could be considered one of the few good points of Hogwarts.

The first being Ron Weasley, a boy from an old – but poor – Wizarding Family, who although he didn't share her love for knowledge or learning, he was loyal and a good strategist. He came from a big family, having five older brothers and one younger sister. He was rather lazy and hated doing his school works, but after Christina pointed out that if he wanted to get out of his brothers' shadows, he would have to study and do his best at school, he decided to make a little of effort in his school.

Her second friend was Hermione Granger, a muggleborn girl who was a little of a bookworm and a teacher pet (Though it didn't take long for Christina and Ron to destroy this horrible habit of hers). She had been happy in finding out that not all students were knowledgeable of magic before starting school. Her and Christina hadn't taken long to start a friendship while talking about the subjects that they wanted to learn the most and how they would be continuing their normal studies somehow on summer.

The last friend she made was Neville Longbottom. A shy boy from an old – and rich – Wizarding Family who was more than happy to explain about the wizarding world culture and what they (Christina and Hermione) should or shouldn't do (It won't be good for them if they ended insulting someone important on accident). He was also a genius when it came to magical plants and had been really relieved to learn that he wasn't a squib as everyone else in his family believed.

Christina wasn't too happy and frowned in disgust when Neville and Ron explained what a squib was and how they were discarded from their families and sent to the muggle world the moment it was discovered that they didn't have magic.

When they reached the castle, came the sorting. It was a magical hat that would decide to where each new student would go. The options being the four Houses. Gryffindor for the reckless and brave, Ravenclaw for the studious and bookworms, Hufflepuff for the loyal and hard workers and Slytherin for the cunning and ambitious.

The hat had wanted to send her to either Ravenclaw or Slytherin since she was a little of a bookworm and was pretty ambitious. But Christina had noticed how everyone expected her to be the perfect Gryffindor so she convinced the hat to place her there. Like this, everyone would leave her alone.

The moment classes started, Christina started to get disappointed. Aside from Herbology, Charms and Trasfiguration, all the classes were useless and there was no class for the muggleborn and the muggle-raised students to take so they could learn about the laws and culture of the Wizarding World (Which lead her to ask Neville to continue teaching her about the Wizarding World).

History was taught by a ghost and all you learned there was about the same Goblin rebellions, Astronomy was impossible to pay attention when all students were too tired to learn something, Flying classes was dangerous and potions? The Potions Professor, Severus Snape, hated her for no apparent reason and he took points and gave detentions even for breathing. Anyone who wasn't a Slytherin was on the man shitting list. The man also didn't know how to teach, he would only write the instructions of the potion on the board and tell them to follow it. He never explained why this potion was created, what were its effects and how to counter it. He also never explained the basics of potion making nor did the book he asked in the supply list offered such explanation.

All classes were taught by a single Professor and they had too much to do and ended doing almost nothing. And there was also others sour points when it came to the classes and teachers at Hogwarts, but for now, let's ignore it and focus on other things.

The Headmaster didn't care about the safety of his students or the bulling. He had hidden an object like the Philosopher's Stone in the school, which Christina deduced that it would be used to test her somehow (She had been sure of it by the end of the year, especially when he did everything to gain her favor, as if he wanted her to look up on him. Which was impossible), he had placed a Cerberus inside the school grounds in a place that any curious student could enter and the best of all! He hired a possessed Professor to teach Defense Against the Dark Art.

The Professor in question was being possessed by the Dark Lord who heard about the Philosopher's Stone and wanted to steal it. He wanted the stone to get his body back since the night he attacked Christina's family, he was reduced to nothing more than a spirit.

None of the teachers believed them when Christina and her friends tried to tell them that someone wanted to steal the Stone and for some reason, which was too convenient, the Headmaster wasn't in Hogwarts. So in the end, she and her friends had gone through all of the easy traps (Difficult for eleven years old maybe, but it was really really easy to a full grown wizard) to try and get the stone before the thief.

In the end, Christina was forced to fight against the Dark Lord Voldemort all on her own. The Dark Lord had his ways with words and she could see how he got his title and position. But Christina was smarter and refused all of his offers. The Dark Lord tried to attack her, but the moment her hands touched him, he burned away.

When she woke up later on, the Headmaster Dumbledore explained that the Dark Lord wasn't gone for good and that the reason she could do what she did, was because of the protections left by her mother. Christina had just nodded her head in agreement and listened as he told her that the Stone was destroyed.

After the end of the school year, she had gone back to the Dursleys – her relatives –, who were as happy as she was for having her back there. Christina ignored them and did all her chores while studying about different ways to make magic work on technology and doing her school work. She didn't have notices of her friends till she learned that the reason she wasn't getting their letters was because a house-elf (a magical creature that served as a servant for wizards) had taken her mail in an attempt of stopping her from going to Hogwarts.

Exasperated and in a bad mood, Christina gathered her things, kicked the elf unconscious (he had tried to stop her from walking away. It had been an accident) and took her things and walked out of her room. After telling her relatives that she would be staying with her kind for the rest of the summer, she called the Knight Buss and decided to stay at the Leaky Cauldron.

There, she answered her friends' letters and explained what happened and had gone shopping (Buying her school supplies for the year and more reading material for her self-study). Three days later, she encountered Ron's family and met the new Defense Against the Dark Art's Professor, a fraud called Gilderoy Lockhart (Hermione had been fascinated with him till Christina pointed out all errors in his books). The moment she learned that he would take the position as Defense Against the Dark Art's Professor, Christina counted it as one more negative point to Hogwarts.

If things continued like this, she would be getting away from the school.

Aside from making new friends on the train ride (Someone, who she was sure to be the house-elf who had been stealing from her, tried to stop her from passing though the entrance but an old wizard saw what happened and tool care of it for them) with Ron's little sister, Ginny, a girl called Luna Lovegood, some Slytherins and the Weasleys Twins, nothing good happened that year.

Lockhart was an incompetent teacher, more concerned with personal celebrity than teaching and on Halloween, Mrs. Norris, the cat of the school caretaker – Mr. Filch – was found petrified and on a wall nearby was possible to see the message: "The Chamber of Secrets has been opened. Enemies of the heir, beware" written in blood. Filch, of course, blamed her but nothing could be proven.

Christina and her friends then found out that Salazar Slytherin had secretly built the Chamber of Secrets, which is rumored to contain a monster that only Slytherin's heir could directly control. Since Slytherin hated muggleborns the Chamber was said to have been built so that one day his heir could purge the school of them.

During a game of Quidditch, Christina's arm was broken by a rogue Bludger and Lockhart tried to heal it against her protests and ended removing all of her bones. In the hospital bed, as she muttered in angrer about all of the things that she hated about Hogwarts, the house elf thief – who was named Dobby – appeared and admitted being responsible for the platform incident and the rogue Bludger. He explained that he did all that to stop Christina from going to Hogwarts. She had been rather tempted to tell him that if things continued like they were, she would be more than happy to leave Hogwarts, but she stayed in silence.

Lockhart started a dueling club along Snape and they made Christina duel against Draco, who summons a snake that tried to attack another student. Christina ordered it to stop by using Parseltongue, which was the ability to talk to snakes and it then made everyone believe that she was the Heir of Slytherin (Which was a rather stupid thought, since the written on the wall talked about an Heir, not an Heiress. These people other than ignorant were stupid too).

After being bullied and ignored by everyone aside from her friends, Christina decided to find out who was the real Heir before she snapped and left the school for good. After a long search and after Hermione was also petrified, Christina and her friends finally got the information from a portrait of the niece of Salazar Slytherin. She told them with a great amount of difference where they could find the entrance of the Chamber and how to enter in it.

While her friends went after the teachers and the Headmaster to tell them about the Chamber, Christina had entered into the Chamber. Inside the chamber, Christina was really surprised to find the unconscious body of Ginny, as well as the almost physical form of a boy called Tom Riddle who revealed that Ginny had been communicating with him by writing on a magical diary, allowing him to possess her and that he had her set the Basilisk on the Muggleborns. He also revealed that his name was actually an anagram for I am Lord Voldemort and that he was Voldemort's past self.

Riddle then summoned the Basilisk and ordered it to attack Christina. In the end she was successful in killing it and just when it looked like she will die because of the bite given to her by the Basilisk, Christina was healed by Fawkes, Dumbledore's pet phoenix (which made her believe that the old man could have done something about the Basilisk but he waited for her to do it instated). After she was healed Christina stabbed the diary with a Basilisk fang, defeating Riddle and saving Ginny.

Nothing else happened aside from Christina freeing Dobby from his master, who was actually Draco's father, and her getting rather bitter with the fact that people started to act like nothing had ever happened.

Sheep! All of them!

Now… At her third year…

Well, in her third year, she finally snapped after the Dementors attacked her in the middle of her Quiddicht match with the Huplepuffs and we can't forget the mass murder who is trying to kill her (Nothing new here...).

Honestly, she had enough of the Wizarding World and of this School.

"Why?" Christina jumped and hugged the book in her hands against her chest. Slowly, she turned around and stared at Weasley twins and their brother Ron, they who were looking at her with wide eyes and confused expressions. The three boys were tall for their ages and had red hair and blue eyes.

"Did I say it out loud?"

The three redheads nodded.

With a heavy sigh, Christina sat down and mentioned for them to do the same. "I am tired of this place. First there are incompetent teachers and useless classes, a Cerberus, a Troll and then Voldemort. Then in second year there is a Basilisk, everyone hating me without proof and Voldemort again. Now, although the new DADA teacher is pretty good, I have to deal with soul-sucking monsters and a mass murder hunting me down and more incompetent teachers and useless classes!" She snarled, throwing the book on the floor.

The boys shared a look. They could understand what she meant. Christina had been very frustrated when it came to Hogwarts. They were actually surprised that it took Dementors and Sirius Black to make her snap. But honestly, there was nothing she could do about it.

"Hm… Er… I don't know what to say to you, Chris…" Ron looked a little uncomfortable. He really didn't know how to comfort others. "But, you will have to bear with it. The Minister placed the Dementors on the school ground so they could catch Sirius Black and the Headmaster won't be doing anything about the teachers."

Fred nodded. "Take a look at Snape, he has been teaching here for years and nothing can make Dumbledore fire the man. We have tried."

"Frankly, my dear green eyed friend, if you want something different you will have to make your own school."

Christina sighed in defeat till her mind registered what was just said.

Her head snapped forward and she stared at George. "What did you say?" She asked with wide eyes.

He raised an eyebrow. "If you want something different you will have to make your own school?" Slowly, a feral smirk formed in her face and the three boys backed away in fear of the look in her eyes.

"George, you're a genius."

With all honestly, the three brothers thought that they saw lighting flashing on the background when she started to laugh manically.

Maybe she was finally being affected by the Dementors and the lack of a good teacher?

Christina Potter stood in front of all of her friends with a big smile in her face. Like always, she was wearing her uniform, her favorite cowboy boots that she had gotten from Luna last Christmas and her black hair was tied in a bun. They were all sitting in the Room of Requirement (which was more or less their headquarters after the house-elves that worked at Hogwarts kicked them out of the kitchen in her First year).

She grinned. "Aside from Ron and the twins, I am sure that all of you must be wondering why I called you here!"

Hermione raised an eyebrow. She had bushy brown hair which was tied in a ponytail at the moment and chocolate brown eyes.

"And why did you call us here?"

"She has gone mental that's why." Ron yelled from the back of the room. At this, he was rewarded with a book thrown in his head by an angry Christina. "Ow – Chris, come on!"

She ignored him and cleared her throat. "So… I called you here because I wanted to announce something."

"You are finally admitting that you have a harem of male magical creatures?" Susan Bones, a red haired girl with blues eyes, asked with a giggle.

"You found out that Dumbledore is planning your early demise?" Daphne Greengrass asked as her sister, Astoria, nodded her head beside her. Both girls were really pretty with blonde hair and green eyes, but while Astoria held her hair in a long braid, Daphne's hair was held in a low ponytail.

"Draco Malfoy is a Veela and you're his mate?" Tracey Davies asked; wiggling her eyebrow and laughing at Christina disgusted face. She had short and spiky dyed purple hair and hazel eyes.

"You have an army of house-elves and you are planning to take over the world?" Terry Boot asked. He was tall boy with dirty blonde hair and mismatched eyes, one being brown and the other blue.

Christina stared at them, wondering where all those rumors came from before she shook her head. And seriously? A harem of male magical creatures and a Male Veela? Were those kind of things even possible?

"No." There were some disappointed groans. "I will run away from Hogwarts and create my own magical school. Who is with me?"

...

...

...

...

There was thirty seconds of pure silence as the members of the room stared at her, waiting for her to start laughing and say that it was just a joke before she announced what she truly wanted to say.

...

...

...

...

More ten seconds passed before Christina's friends finally decided that no; she wasn't joking around. In fact, she was pretty serious about this decision if her truck on the corner of the room was any indication.

"Ron is right. She has gone mental." Terry said.

"Do you even know what it takes to create a magical school?" Susan yelled in disbelief.

Christina folded her arms as they all started to yell and scream at her, calling her crazy or things similar. She didn't say anything, waiting for them to get tired of it or till she lost her patience and decided to silence them. The last option though, wasn't necessary when just a small and dreamy voice was necessary to make them stop.

"I am in." They all stopped and stared at Luna Lovegood who had lowered her newest edition of the Quibbler to raise her hand in agreement. Luna was pretty small for her age and had a dreamy look in her pale face; she also had long and wavy blonde hair and silvery-blue eyes.

"What?" Susan, Terry, Hermione, Ron and Tracey yelled.

"I am in too." Blaise Zabini also raised his hand, being followed by the Weasley Twins, Daphne and Astoria. Blaise was the tallest of all of them. He had mocha colored skin, shoulder length black hair and sharp golden eyes.

"What?"

"I-It isn't a bad idea." Neville Longbottom muttered from his place beside Luna. Neville was the last member of the group. He had short dirty blonde hair and dark blue eyes and looked really shy.

"What?!"

Terry was the first of the group to take courage and look at Christina to make the winning question. Terry could only be considered Christina friend since the end of their second year so he knew that he didn't know her as much as the Weasleys or Granger or Lovegood or the Slytherins, but what he knew of her made him think that she was serious about this and that she wasn't going to back away no matter what, especially because she had made sure to always say how disappointed she was with Hogwarts.

"Why?" He asked.

She grinned. "I am happy you asked, Terry! Simple, I am tired of this place." She narrowed her eyes and all the others turned their attention toward her. "Education is classified as one of the worst in all Europe; most of the teachers are horrible and biased –"

"Snape!" Ron coughed, receiving a smack on the head from Hermione at the interruption.

"– this place isn't safe as they like to say, the Headmaster may be strong but he doesn't know how to take care of a school properly and the Wizarding World from Britain leaves too much to be desired. Think Terry, what good point you can give me when it comes to Hogwarts and the Britsh Wizrding World?" He stayed in silence. "Prejudice, laws that shouldn't exist, laws that only help purebloods, medieval thinking, women has no rights, muggleborns and magical creatures have even less…"

She stopped for a moment, letting they think about it.

"So if there is nothing that we can do to change Hogwarts and the Wizarding World. Why not go to another country and create our own school? Why not create a place where the students can truly learn and a place where anyone will be accepted and not discriminated? We can do whatever we want in this school. Fencing lessons, language lessons, alchemy, enchanting, muggle subjects… It doesn't matter what…"

"It is an interesting idea and all… But how we would make a school?" Hermione asked. "Chris, we would need a staff, a certain number of students, we need teachers, healers on the hospital wing, we need a library, we need school grounds… Chris there is so much that we need to stop to think about before going and making our own school, including money…"

"I have money." Christina said, shrugging a little nonchalantly.

"I can help pay for everything too." Blaise said. "My mother gave me a few vaults that she inherited from her deceased husbands. That and I am sure that she will be more than happy to help, she hates Hogwarts and only sent me here because I will be getting my magical inheritance in two years and Dumbledore is one of the only Headmasters that accept magical creatures in his school."

"I can help too… I have my trust vault." Daphne said, thinking about her trust vault and how she could sell some of her old jewelry to get more money.

"Maybe we could copy some of the books of the Hogwarts' library for our own library." One of the twins suggested.

"How can we copy all of those books?" Terry asked. "It will take years!"

The twin from the right shook his head. "Not if we ask the elves to do it for us. They have their own type of magic and I am sure that if asked, they will be more than happy to copy the books."

The other twin nodded his head. "They won't copy all of them because the magic from some of the books won't allow such thing, but they can still do it."

Susan hummed. "Speaking of elves… It would be a good idea for us to get a few House-Elves for ourselves so they can help with the school." She sent a pointed look toward Hermione and stopped her from complaining. "And we will have to ask for the Goblins' help."

"I can ask Gran to help us organize everything; she is good at this type of thing." Neville said.

"I could make the uniforms." Luna said with a smile as she thought about all types of uniforms that she could create and even at what type of mascot the school could have.

"We could make the school ground in a propriety that belongs to one of us." Tracey suggested.

"And we can even visit other magical schools around the world and see how they work before we think of how our school will work." Astoria said with a grin.

There were mutters of agreement at this.

"Why don't we run away tomorrow?" Everyone looked at Ron. He blushed and shrugged. "I mean, everyone will be going to Hogsmeade, it will be a good opportunity to run away. We can start our journey around the world to see how others schools works… We will have to make a map of all the countries we will visit, but it will have to be after we contact Gringotts…" He blinked his eyes when he noticed the looks he was receiving. "What?"

The others shook their heads.

"Nothing." They said slowly.

"So!" Christina clapped her hands together with a grin. "Everyone in agreement of running away from Hogwarts and making our own school?"

Eleven hands rose as the teens said 'Aye'. Christina, who also had her hand raised, blinked her eyes and looked at Hermione who was biting her lip nervously. The others also looked at the bushy haired girl who had been the only one to not raise her head.

"Hermione?"

Hermione looked at them before focusing her attention on Christina. She frowned in thought and stayed in silence for a few minutes before sighing in defeat.

"Aye…" She raised her head and everyone cheered; the Twins and Christina being the loudest.

"Perfect!" Christina nodded. "Now… Next topic… Name of the school? I vote for Christina' Amazing Academy of Magic!"

Her friends looked at her and another discussing followed, this time, it was full of horrible names being thrown here and there and this time however, they didn't come to an agreement.

00

Christina took one last look at the map in her hands. It was a world map charmed by the Goblins that showed different magical locations that she and the others should definitely visit and there was information about what country they should visit first and how to get there. Her account manager had been more than happy to send it to her along with a list of spells that could be useful on their travel (like the Translation charm that made it possible for them to speak and read in seven different languages).

The Goblin who took care of her accounts had been really amused when he heard about her desire to make her own school and along the money that she asked and the charms, he also sent a list of her proprieties (For the school grounds), a book that explained what she would need to legalize her school and a small note saying that if she was successful, then he would even send his children to her school (along with an older Goblin of course. His children would need to keep up with their studies that they could only learn from another Goblin).

Since she knew that there would be a big list of people looking for her and the others, she had asked her Account Manager – called Silverclaw – to create passports with pseudonymous for them. The only ones that she knew that won't be looking for them (or her) were her friends' family (Aside from the Weasleys, she didn't think that the Twins and Ron told their family where they were going and why) and the Dursleys. Her relatives didn't care where they were going and the others asked her friends to contact them every day or a searching party would be sent after them.

She honestly didn't know what argument they used for their family to not question their sanity when they said that they would be going to make their School along her. Though, the fact that all of them already could sit down on the OWLs (and some of the NEWTs in the twins' case) because of self-study could be a good reason for that.

"I am so excited! We are going to France!" Tracey squealed beside her.

"Imagine everything that we will see!" Astoria also squealed.

"All the shopping!" Daphne sighed dreamily making the other girls laugh and the boys roll their eyes.

The train they would be taking to France was actually pretty similar to the Hogwarts Express, but it was located in the muggle subway system. She had been pretty fascinated with it, hadn't Silverclaw told her about it, she would have never believed it. There was even a magical airport inside the normal muggle airport... This was something she had yet to see, but she was looking forward to it.

Susan looked around. "Can anyone see the entrance?"

"There!" Terry exclaimed as he pointed to a wall between two benches where two men dressed as tourists were sitting. "Just like how Silverclaw explained on his note."

The others nodded and they walked to the place he had pointed out, nodding their head and greeting the two men who smiled kindly at them and passing through the wall. After that, they faced a big station with different trains. One to France, another to Italia, other to Russia and etc. As they followed the crowed to the train to France, Christina grinned in anticipation.

This was the first step to having her own school. She couldn't wait!

Although…

Why did it feel like she was forgetting something?

Meanwhile, one Ginny Weasley entered in the Room of Requirement for the weekly reunion of her and her friends but found it empty ("Guys? Hello? Anyone?"). Ginny would be the first member of Hogwarts to notice that the group was missing and only chaos would reign when Dumbledore finally noticed the absence of the Girl-Who-Lived and almost all members of her group of misfits.

Their Own School

It has been a long time I have been waiting to write a fic where Harry or FemHarry ends as Headmaster/Headmistress of Hogwarts or another school. And I finally did it!

The school itself won't appear from a while, Christina and her friends have too much to do and even if they are more advanced than others students from Hogwarts, they still have much more to learn. Creating a school won't be easy, but they will do it eventually.

Anyway! I hope you liked this chapter and please, don't forget to:
