Peter nodded along to Bella, "See, Papa Bear, it's all good. Now," he turned to the wolves, "who's up first?"
The first training didn't take very long, the crowd dispersed quickly after Charlie had gotten a work call shortly after the wolves and vampires started their spars. Billy knew it would be raining soon so he left with Charlie, not wanting his wheelchair gunked up with mud. For those who stayed a little while longer they got to see that this meeting was more of a baseline evaluation to see where the wolves were at. They went one by one after Paul with Peter attacking while Char joined in at random to simulate how they would handle more than one attacker. After the second wolf where Kol was not being utilized a little Kol began muttering.
"I just said yet! They're going to be fighting our kind and, besides that, they still need to patrol. Next time, Dear Kol, you'll get to fight next time." Peter defended while a wolf was in a headlock.
Kol kept muttering about "no fun," and Bella, Jeremy and Angela didn't have superhuman vision so they weren't getting much out of the dimly lit evaluations, they too decided to leave pretty quickly after the third wolf hopped in for a turn.
"We'll be by tomorrow after school," Bella added for the pack. "Peter you have my number so if anything changes just let me know."
"Will do, Sweet Tea!" Bella rolled her eyes at Peter, turned around quickly, and grabbed Kol's arm to lead the group out of the clearing.
"I know you want to comment but don't," Bella whispered into his ear.
"Oh, but darling, I have a good one." Kol smirked and she could see the crinkling of his eyes in the dim light.
A half an hour later Angela had been dropped off at her home and the others went to the Swan house. Jeremy went up to his room to finish some homework he had forgotten about, a classmate of his had reminded him when they asked what he got for question 5c. Bella, having completed all of hers, stayed in the living room with Kol. The two curled up on the sofa and put a crime drama on.
"The classic good girl with the bad boy trope," Bella commented at the screen before poking her vampire in the stomach. And how weird was that to think again, her vampire.
"Only a trope because it work so well, darling Bella," Kol grabbed the finger which poked him and kissed the pad of it.
Bella inhaled sharply.
The kiss had ignited something within her. She knew she wanted more, but Bella also knew that they needed to actually talk about what they were feeling. It was a little hard to think this and stop though when Kol began kissing up her arm to her neck. He paid special attention to the area where her neck met her jaw before moving torturously slow to her lips. Bella needed more. A fire was burning in her like nothing she'd ever felt before.
Bella moved with a quickness that would have shocked her had she been a bit more aware of anything other than his lips. She placed herself into his lap and grabbed the sides of his face, making the kiss more urgent and deeper. Their tongues tangling together, their breaths mingling, her body moving without thought. As she ground into his lap she bit his lip and pulled. The excited inhale and hands pulling her closer into his space made sure Bella knew he liked it. When the taste of his blood hit them and she instinctively licked it up from his lips, eyes closed in pleasure while they had a minute for her to catch her breath. Well, Kol had to get a look at the pretty picture she painted. In that moment he was sure he found his own goddess. Her hair and clothes were disheveled from his hands going from her hair, to waist, to ass and back. Her lips were temptingly plump from the strength of their kisses.
"Look at me Bella," He murmured as he caressed her left cheek with his right thumb. She did as he asked, her chocolate eyes almost black from the pupils dilating with pleasure. "There's a good girl."
Bella let out a little moan and ground down a bit harder, "Kol."
"You like that don't you? Knowing you're good for me?" He'd imagine so after her last relationship, the Cullen boy barely touched her, but the added talking was clearly going to get them both off soon.
"Yes, Kol, y-yeah." Bella stuttered as his lips went back to a particularly sensitive spot on her neck.
"No one but me has made you feel like this, no?" He gently scraped his teeth on her skin.
Bella shivered. The heat burning brighter in her, "Kol," she begged, "please."
"Now, Bella, no need to beg, I'll give you what you wa—"
"Fucking get a room!" Jer interrupted. "God damn guys, I don't want to watch you get it on while coming down for a leftover cookie. For fucks sake..."
Bella flushed in embarrassment now, the burning in her simmering and quickly cooling. She could tell that Kol was debating on how much he actually liked having Jeremy as a friend, if he could get away with maiming the boy so she quickly wrapped her arms in his and smiled impishly.
"Kol, Jeremy is the one cousin I actually like. Also, maybe don't kill or seriously injure your friend?" Kol let out a long suffering sigh as Bella continued, "Besides, he said 'get a room' not stop."
A devilish smirk lit up Kol's face and Bella let out a laugh as he sped them upstairs. Jeremy was in the kitchen rooting around the fridge for some sports drink, so when he came back through the living room he heard Bella's door slam shut and a thud that sounded like a body hitting the bed heavily.
"Looks like I'm going to need to put my headphones in for a bit." Jeremy walked up the stairs and past Bella's room rolling his eyes.
Jer was happy for his cousin, but knew it was going to be complicated for them. Not only did she have a homicidal bitch wrongly after her, but Kol's family was also a snag. He knew that things were bound to go up in flames since that's what always happened when something went right.
