Disclaimer: J. R. R. Tolkien owns Aragorn, his friends, and his circumstances. They just inspire me.

Aragorn's Destiny

0

In Aragorn of Elendil

The might of Númenor

Has been renewed as in the past,

In concord and in war.

A ranger in the wilderness,

Yet Gondor he will bless.

0

He rode to war in distant lands,

And none could stand his ire,

He and his kin protected Bree

And hobbits in the Shire.

A ranger in the wilderness,

Yet Gondor he will bless.

0

When Frodo with the Ring of Pow'r

Set out for Mordor black,

This Aragorn, he guided him

And kept his feet on track.

A ranger in the wilderness,

Yet Gondor he will bless.

0

With elf and dwarf he tracked his friends,

Then fought for Theoden.

He called the dead to succor him

For Minas Tirith's men.

A ranger in the wilderness,

Yet Gondor he will bless.

0

To give the Ring-bearer a chance,

He drew the Eye as bait:

He led a mere six-thousand men,

Assaulting the Black Gate.

A ranger in the wilderness,

Yet Gondor he will bless.

0

When Frodo did fulfill his quest,

Then Ar'gorn was crowned king.

He wedded Arwen Evenstar,

And joy his reign did bring.

A ranger in the wilderness,

Yet Gondor he did bless!

A/N: The above poem is a couple of years old (actually written for a school assignment) and I am not as fond of it as some of my others. I saw no reason not to post it, however, and I hope you enjoyed it anyway!

Aragorn's Prayer

0

Give me strength to face each day,

Give me joy to fill my soul,

Faith and hope for every day,

May love always be my goal.

0

Where the Sun and Moon are dark,

In far lands where stars are strange,

May I always see my mark,

May I never lose my aim.

A/N: This one is similar to my "High-elven Lullaby," short and just the thought of a moment. In keeping with Tolkien, it probably addresses Elbereth, though I like to think that the other Valar and even Eru Ilúvatar are not out of the question.
