Hi, and welcome to my story: Not the Same! This is my first fanfiction, so suggestions on how to become better are greatly appreciated. Anyway, on to the story!
Disclaimer: I do NOT own Lab Rats.
Leo tossed and turned on the couch that he called his bed. He so desperately wanted to sleep, but he couldn't. He was just too uncomfortable.
Leo took off his arm capsule and placed it on the floor, careful to not wake his siblings up. The boy yawned, missing his old bed in the Davenport mansion.
Ah, how Leo was so happy when his whole family had lived in the mansion. It held all the memories that he had shared with his family, and it actually felt like a home.
At the Bionic Academy, he had never experienced something that made him truly happy. Sure, he had some good moments here and there, like the time he first explored the whole academy and saw hope well-built it was, but it wasn't like how he had felt in the mansion.
He never even really spent time with his family anymore. Adam, Bree, and Chase are always busy with their mentor duties to notice him. BigD and Douglas are either at the mainland or to busy training students to do the things that they used to do with Leo. And his mom never even came to the academy. It's like they all forgot about him.
Another thing he hates about the Academy is the students. Even though Leo knows that most of the students never did anything wrong on their own will, it just annoys him that his siblings are so busy with them that they don't notice him. And, a lot of the students are always mean to Leo and tease him, just because he's the odd one out of all the students. Just like he always is.
Leo also hates that he's just a beginner at the Academy. Nothing but a useless beginner, he thought. Sure, BigD was right about him being not ready to become a mentor, but still. He's done a lot with his bionics ever since he got them. The worst part is that BigD said he was gonna upgrade him, but he never did. I guess I'm just stuck as a bionic bumblebee for the rest of my life, he thought sadly.
He would give anything to just go back home, where he was happy. He would even go through Trent's bullying again just to get things how they used to be.
Leo sighed and then put his arm capsule back on. Maybe tomorrow things well get better, he thought. Don't get your hopes up. You don't deserve better considering all you do is make mistakes that your siblings have to fix, a voice in his head told him.
With that last thought, Leo covered himself with his blanket and tried to go to sleep. But one thing stayed in his mind as he drifted to sleep.
Nothing was the same.
That's it for this one-shot. Hope you enjoyed! And I basically thought of this when watching First Day of Bionic Academy. I hated how Leo was treated in that episode, so I decided to make a fanfiction. That's all for now, so bye!
