"Class dismissed!"
Elizabeth Jones exhaled in relief as the teacher ended class with the snap of his closing binder. Her fellow classmates rustled about, packing up textbooks and notes for the day as their long day of learning finally ended.
Getting up from her desk and swinging her heavy black book bag onto her shoulders, Elizabeth sluggishly followed the crowd streaming through the door with legs that felt like lead and a bleary vision. Pausing near the doorway for a moment, she closed her eyes as her head pounded.
With a small grimace, she pressed a cool hand to her forehead before sighing in defeat.
Another stupid headache.
She's have to get some more aspirin at the store as she had ran out of painkillers yesterday, but right now all she wanted to do was curl up in her nice fluffy bed and sleep until day. If only her brain would man up already. It annoyed her how easily the pain came, but there wasn't anything she could do about it other than take medication that didn't really do anything for her anymore.
Her hand fell away when it didn't help the deep throbbing and she opened her eyes again, walking down the familiar halls to the exit as other students chattered softly around her.
Looking around the parking lot, she quickly found her car and trudged over, leaning against the side to stare up at the inky sky, spotted with tiny white sparkles. Eyes sliding shut for a brief moment of rest, she felt the cool night wind wrap around her comfortingly.
Did she need to get anything today? Like milk, bread, tomorrow's breakfast...? Oh well, she would think of something later when the best ways to perform cranial removal stopped swimming in her head. It's not like she had much of an appetite after studying the best ways to dismantle a human body anyway. Even after five years of medical study there was still a part of her that got a little queasy.
Breaking her mood, Elizabeth took her keys out of her pocket before unlocking her car and getting in, buckling herself before starting the engines.
She drove a familiar path, trying to focus on the road as drowsiness started to hit her. It was only eleven, but the week had worn her down with all the late classes-and she didn't even want to think of the homework that would be waiting for her.
Coming to a halt at a stop light, she rested her chin on the wheel, staring up at the bright red light tiredly. For a moment, her eyes became unfocused and dropped close, darkness smudging at the edge of her vision before she started at the sudden change of color.
Stepping on the gas, Elizabeth drove a couple more minutes before she accidentally passed a stop sign. Not really caring at that moment, she was in the middle of turning her head to the side to see if anyone was coming before agony hit her. The last spark of adrenaline to her brain from the image of car just inches away.
In a second, she felt more pain then she had in all her life before it ended abruptly.
Elizabeth didn't even get a chance to realize that she was dead.

Darkness. That was all there was.
Warmth, the only thing I felt.
Thoughts? I had none...I think.
The world is moving.
Why?
W-it burns!
I can't breathe-why do I need to breathe?
Cold, blinding, biting cold.
Everything becomes lighter, brighter.
My eyes opened, but all I saw was a blur of shapes. They weren't even colorful.
Someone was holding me.
A soft melody reached my ears.
And my mind sank back into sleep.

"Aki~ Come to mama~!"
Midori Hinamori cooed gently to her daughter, who looked up curiously from the toys she was playing with. "M-Mmamm" She gurgled before getting up with little difficulty and waddling over to the older woman.
The clicks of a camera went off rapidly as the father danced around them happily, taking pictures as if it was the last day of his life.
"Oh look at papa's two adorable daisies! So cute! A masterpiece!"
Unbeknownst to them, the child that was now sitting in her mother's lap was wondering what her new father had just escaped from.
When the car hit her, Elizabeth wholly believed that she was dead. Who wouldn't? So imagine her surprise when she discovered that she had been reborn as a baby named Aki. In Japan.
Well, on the bright side, at least she'll know what to do this time around...right?
Too bad 'Aki' didn't know that she was going to be an older sister. The older sister of a very special girl.
Oh look it's a new story! *Please don't kill me viewers from any of my other ones*
I'm looking forward to the next chapter! Can't wait to write it out~
Well I hope you enjoyed! Bye~
