So I've always liked the idea of Hiccup and Hiro being together because the first time I saw Big Hero 6, I had it in my mind that they'd be cute and also that Hiro is pretty much a future version of Hiccup... And although Hijack is pretty much my otp, I'm going to attempt this. My first fanfic that's not mainly hijack.

ALSO: Hiccup and Hiro are both older and the same age in this (I guess 16 or 17 y/o maybe?)...

Chapter 1- the Funeral

Hiccup's POV

To be honest, I didn't know the guy that well. And I feel really out of place at his funeral. But I guess it's the right thing to do at the moment. I mean, he came to Jack's.

I don't exactly remember the first time I met this guy... He dated Jack's older sister and was somewhat close with Jack. The first time I really talked to him was at Jack's funeral. Of course, I don't remember what we talked about, I was a mess. But we talked for a long time. And now here I am. At this guy's funeral.

I walk along the hallway in the front of the church and turn the corner to see someone sitting alone. Right. I forgot, Tadashi had a brother. I should have remembered, he goes to my school... But I had never really talked to him. Now's a better time than ever.

"Hey, um, Hiro, right?"

He looks up, "um... Yeah..."

He doesn't know me. Maybe he does, I don't know. "I'm Hiccup... We go to the same school?"

"Oh, yeah, hi. Did you... Did you know Tadashi?" He asks.

"Well, not really. My boyfriend- well... ex boyfriend now... did. Jack?"

"Oh. Yeah. I heard about Jack. I'm sorry."

"No, no, don't be. So, how are you doing... With all of this?"

"Everyone's saying he's not really gone, as long as we remember him, but-" he starts to cry. "But he's just gone."

"I know how you feel. Everyone kept saying that about Jack too. I never believed it. Remembering someone doesn't make them... here... You know?"

"Yeah. I think it's starting soon. We should- we should go in."

"Yeah. Yeah, okay."

Later, after the service ended, Hiro walked up to me.

"Hey, I know we just sort of met and all, but can we like, get out of here? I don't know how much more of this I can take."

"Yeah, sure." I said, with a small smile.

OKAY END OF CHAPTER! Sorry it's so short, it's only the first one. And I wrote it late at night when I had the idea and then I didn't know how to end it… don't worry, it'll get much more interesting... Hopefully.
