Gilligan and Ginger walk into a lobby of what you would think is a hotel. Their eyes bug out at the beautiful decorations then Gilligan asked, "Are you sure this is the right place?"Ginger looked in her purse and pulled out a piece of paper with an address on it then she said, "This is the address the Professor gave me."

Gilligan looked around at the lavish decor, the beautiful furniture then he said,

"This sure doesn't look like any nursing home I've ever been in, course I've only been in one; that was when I was 19. The only thing I wanted was to go see my grandfather."

Ginger's eyes melt down and she said, "Awwww..."

Gilligan then said, "He had promised to give me $200 for graduation."

Ginger hits him with her purse and he ducked but she still hit him anyway and she said, "Gilligan !"

She looked around herself then said, "This isn't a state run nursing home, it's private; it's for old movie stars, directors and producers."

Gilligan's eyes pop out and he said , "Wow !"

Gilligan pointed to the back of the hallway behind him then said, "That must be why there's a small movie theater back there, to show all the old movies that they directed or wrote. They had a little sign that said they were going to show 'King Kong', the one with Fay Wray. That was my favorite movie and the last one I saw before we were shipwrecked."

An idea popped in Ginger's head then she asked Gilligan, "Would you like to go see it again?"

His eyes popped wide and stars twinkled in his baby blues then he asked, "Can I?"

Ginger nodded her head then she said, "I don't see why not, did the sign say how much was admission?"

Gilligan looked confused then asked, "You mean I have to admit how much I like the movie?"

Ginger 's face got a little red then she said, "No, the price to get in the movie."

He smiled then said, "Oh, it said it was a free movie."

She smiled then got some money out of her purse then said, "Well, take this in case they have any snacks or drinks."

His face lit up like a child at Christmas then he said, "Gee, thanks Ginger. You're a swell gall."

He took the money and went off for the theater then she blew some air out of her mouth then said, "That was a lucky break...now, let's see, where do I go?"

She looked around then saw the nurse's desk, a long, round desk with mounted decorations. 3 nurses sit behind then she said,

"Excuse me"

Each nurse looks up at her with a question in their eyes then Ginger asked,

"Could you tell me where Harold Hecubar's room is?"

A nurse with dirty blond hair asks in a rather high pitched voice,

"WHO?"

The nurse sitting beside her leans over and said,

"I think she means H.H..."

She looked up at Ginger and smiled back then said, "That's want he wants to be called."

Ginger smiled then the fist nurse said in her squeaky little voice that grates Ginger's ears,

"He's in room 203 down that way dearie...if you can call it a room."

Ginger looked back at her with a question in her eyes then the 2nd nurse points down the hall with her pencil then said in a flat voice,

"You'll see."

Ginger quickly walked down the hall, looked around to each room then saw the numbers '203' and a little slip of paper that had his name on it. Then she took a deep breath then knocked, she then heard his voice that took her back 14, 15 years even tho you could tell it was a slightly weaker voice,, "Come in !"

She walked in the room and she couldn't believe it ! The room looked like a Hollywood producer's office with the only exception being the bed over by the window. The room has a large desk against the front wall. Plaques on the wall, awards for various movies on a shelf beside the small closet. A huge lounge chair beside the bed, a tall gold floor lamp beside it then she looked down and realized she was standing on a Persian rug ! Mister Heckubar or HH as he is known, walks over to her in 3 steps and his body is 3 quarters the size he used to be but his personality is still one big, ugly , rude mess and he said in a barking tone,

"It's about time ! I called for the secretary over ten minutes ago ! H H does not like to be kept waiting !"

She was stunned by his attitude then asked, "Is anything wrong sir?"

He gives a sarcastic laugh then said, "See the stack of papers over there? I need them typed up pronto ! That's my next play that's going to take America by storm ! It's going to be a bigger hit than that small tornado that took Dorothy back in '39 !"

Ginger walked over to the papers, thumbs through them and does see words on the papers but only like every other page then she sadly smiled then said, "I'll be sure these papers are typed up but HH..."

He looked at her and said, "Yes?"

She stood up straighter then said, "I'm not the secretary."

He huffed out, "Who are you?"

"I'm Ginger Grant sir...from the island."

He looked at her closely then he took his glasses off and reached for another pair on the desk then said, "So you are. I heard you got off."

Ginger nodded her head then she said, "Yes , I did...why didn't you come back for us?"

He walked in a semi circle in the room then said, "Well, my career took off after I left, I made play after play ...I just got so busy I forgot you. Then when I did remember, all I could think was they would think it's nothing but the ramblings of an old man."

The look on her face softened then she said, "It's okay...it seemed to work out for the best. Let's put that behind us...I'm here to ask you about something else"

He walked over to the table and thumb the stack of papers himself then asked, "What? I'm a busy man ! Let's go !"

"I'm making a movie about the island, my times on the island and others but, you see, somebody else bought the island and it's going to be private and I found out that you bought an island not far from where my island is so I was wondering if you would let me...borrow it to make my movie ."

She waits with baited breath then she sees him run his hand down his bald head then he asked, "My island huh?"

He opened a drawer on the desk , rummaged through it then took out a picture then handed it to her then said, "Here , that's a picture of MY island."

She looked at the picture then said, "Why , it looks just like mine !"

He barked out an answer, "Of coarse it does ! I had it made to look that way ! C.P. was going to use it but, well, he never did. His health got too bad."

She ignored his words, just handed the picture back to him and he put the picture back in the drawer then she asked, "Well, can I use it?"

He thought about it then said , "I don't see why not, nothing is being done on it now...yeah, go ahead and use it."

She squealed with delight then ran over and kissed him on the cheek then said, "Oh, thank you HH !"

He smiled for only a minute then he said, "Go on ! Get out of here ! And get my secretary now !"

She nodded her head then quickly left the room on cloud nine.

When Ginger came out of the room, she was as giddy as a schoolgirl ! She actually clapped her hands and did a little twist in the hallway then she looked up and down the hall then she said to herself,

"Oh, Gilligan is still at the movie..."

She looked at her watch on her right wrist then she said again to herself,

"I got another hour and a half to kill..."

She looked around then said, "I might as well explore...hmmm, I wonder if it's true what the Professor told me? That this place has its own movie studio. Well, if they do, I bet it can't be very large."

She goes to the end of the hall then sees a small sign that says 'Movie Studio' in red letters and a arrow pointing to the right. She follows it then comes to a glass door, opens it then she sees another building, the outside of it looks just like a Hollywood studio building so she goes to the door and when she opens it, her mouth falls open ! EVERYTHING is there that you would expect ! Lights ! Camera ! Action !

She sees people walking back and forth in a hurry, boom mikes , directors sitting in chairs, at least 3 movie cameras then she sees a tall, elderly red headed woman. The woman has on clothes too tight for a woman her age and she has on big, junky jewels. Her hair is on top o her head with a yellow tie around the bun, she turns and saw Ginger. She smiled then said, "Come on honey, I don't bite...well, I would if you were a man."

They both laugh and Ginger walked over then said, "Wait a minute, I know you !"

The woman beamed then said, "Of coarse you do honey, I'm what they had in the 30's and left in the 60's...I'm between Mae West and Marilyn Monroe, I'm..."

Ginger said the woman's name before she could ,

"Dizzy Dormae !"

Dizzy laughed then said, "That's what they called me because I made all the boys dizzy but please, just call me Daisy."

Ginger smiled then said, "Daisy."

Daisy laughed then said, "I was about the only woman in Hollywood in the 30's who didn't change her name so when the press started calling me "Dizzy" and it stuck, it made my manager happy."

They both laugh at that then Ginger started to say, "I'm..."

Daisy interrupted her by saying, "You're Ginger Grant, I recongnized you right off honey."

Ginger looks at her curiously then asked, "You did?"

Daisy shrugged her shoulders then said, "We get t.v. here too you know, in old folks land."

Ginger looked at her then said,

"Then you know I'm from the island."

Daisy spoke up and said,

"Honey, from your movies before that! Give yourself a pat on your pretty little back; you did some good stuff back in the day."

Ginger smiled then said, "I was a pretty good actress wasn't I? But i'm not an actress anymore...nobody will hire an actress that's been living on a deserted island for 15 years."

Daisy looks at her and winks then says:

"I got an idea."

She bent down to pull something out of her backpack on the floor and Ginger asked, "What?"

Daisy smiled then said, "Just look."

Ginger looked at a picture of a young girl who looked very much like a young Ginger then she asked,

"Where did you get this? I never posed for a picture like...It's you ! Why, we look like twins from different times!"

Daisy claps her hands then said,

"Listen, we're making a movie of my life...that's what we old folks do to keep ourselves busy in this 'home'. We can't pay much, in fact, it may be nothing at all but..."

Ginger gets so excited that she jumps up and down then said, "I'll do it !"

Daisy grabbed her hand then said, "Come on !"

Sometime way later, Ginger comes out and she is happily walking down the same hallway she was earlier then Gilligan comes walking to her and he started beating on his chest like a gorilla does !

"That was a good movie Ginger, thanks for giving me money for snacks! You'll never believe what the boy behind the snack stand said,

he said I was the first non-residentual person to come see it. I didn't know I was non-residentual ; I thought you had to vote to be that."

Ginger said, "He meant you were the first person who didn't belong at the home Gilligan. But listen, I got some exciting news!"

Ginger starts telling him but he really isn't listening, he notices something that catches his eye and he walked away from Ginger and closer to a room . Ginger stares after him then asked, "Gilligan, what is it?"

Gilligan turned to her then asked, "Ginger, where's Mr. Howell?"

Ginger looked around then she said,

"In Beverly Hills the last I saw him."

Gilligan looked back into a room then he pointed to a person laying in a bed with tubes attached to him then said, "Well, who's that?"

Ginger walked over, looked in the room and gasped ! It was a man who looked exactly like Mister Howell ! Ginger and Gilligan both looked at each other.

I know nursing homes don't have movie studios but this is Gilligan's Island where most anything happens. In one episode, Mister Howell had an evil twin, he swam offshore, let's see what happened to the imposter.
