So this is how it would end, huh?

Pale blue eyes stared silently, a blank facade that had grown familiar on her face after all of those years of hurt, of death, of all those who lost their lives to a foolish hope.

Ah, foolish hope.

After all these years, her mind certainly had become bitter to the thought of hope and peace. Maybe during the first few days, but days turn into weeks, weeks turn into months, the months turn into lost years. In the end, there were no winners.

Just one bitter loser.

She was one bitter loser about to die like those before her in a war.

...

...

...

There was rain. Her long, dirtied, tangled, blond hair slowly plastered itself against her neck and face as she tilted her head, trying to regain her breath.

His desperate tone cut straight through her inner thoughts. "Please, don't let me do this."

She remained silent, flashes of memories flowing in her mind at the sound of the voice. Green hoodie, messy blonde hair, arrogant smirk, mirth and mischief shining in bright, bright forest green eyes.

The young teen replied, "I won't stop you."

"Stop it, Sabrina. Just, attack me, stab me, just do something before I do something to you."

Emotionless, she looked at the trembling fairy, his hand was wrapped around his right wrist tightly;the metal glinted ominuosly, reflecting her blank face.

Her breathing hitched slightly as her friend gripped the knife harder. "Damn. Stop me, Sabrina!"

She shook her head. "No."

"Why the hell not?! You co-"

She softly interrupted, "You weren't that bad you know.."

Tense silence grew swiftly, the rain was still soaking the two occupants who were facing each other, one shaking and the other trying to quirk a small grin.

"I mean, yeah, you are a stupid, arrogant, hot-headed, dirty, stinky, jerk, stink-fairy, but... honestly, you weren't bad. You were fine..."

A few stray tears came tumbling out, her mask cracking into millions of little pieces. Her hand reached up and wiped her tears away with her wrist, but no matter how much she dried them, they kept falling and falling.

"Stop, stop, stop it."

"I can't... Like I would want to cry like this in front of you. I lo-"

"Don't. Don't say it."

There was flash, her vision went dark, a new sharp pain started burning on her chest, spreading quickly throughout her body.

Red, red, red was dripping from her knife wound.

Both teens were silent, the rain dripped from the trees, silver thunder crackled across sky.

Puck's arm was wrapped around her waist, holding her up and leaning his head against her shoulder as he held her tightly.

"...you, complete idiot!"

Sabrina, in her dulled numb state, faintly noted that he was shaking again, his tears were warm against her skin, a startling difference from the cold rain that was pouring on them.

"I wasn't going to fight you. I wasn't...I couldn't harm you."

"You should've. Then this wouldn't have happen!"

She rested her head on his shoulder, "I couldn't fight you. You are so stupid sometimes."

"I am stupid?" His arm tightened around her waist again as he held Sabrina closer.

Sniffling as a warm feeling began to grow in her heart, Sabrina said, "You weren't bad. Your stupid pranks, it is all fine...because you weren't bad at all."

"I love you, Sabrina."

"Oh. Now you tell me.. I lo-."

"Sabrina? Sabrina?!"

Please don't leave me, Brina...
