Kuvira takes a satisfied breath as she watches Asami Sato undressing for her. She can't help but smirk as she allows her eyes to travel up Asami's 5'9 frame. The now naked heiress crawls on her hands and knees until she rests between the young captain's legs. Kuvira chuckles as she leans over and runs her fingers through Asami's raven black hair. "So you like me now, huh little kitten?"
Asami brings their lips together then bites down on Kuvira's bottom lip causing her reel back. "Not in the least. And I'm not a kitten." She says as she takes a fistful of Kuvira's hair in her hand.
The metalbender nods. "A tiger seal then."
Asami shakes her head no as she kisses her again. "A woman." She whispers as she kisses her way down Kuvira's chest. "One who knows how to please you."
Kuvira smiles. "Our beloved is more than satisfactory."
Asami smirks burying her face between the captain's legs. "Not like this, she isn't."
Kuvira moans so loudly that she wakes herself up. She blinks rapidly and looks down at her desk to see a list of people she needed to contact once she landed back in Zaofu. She shakes the sleep from her eyes and grabs a map. She'd need to make arrangements to travel right away. One of her largest financial backers lived two days from Ba Sing Se. She couldn't waste any more time. She couldn't focus on the amazing sex she'd be having with the heiress in the next few months.
The captain hears someone knocking on her door. She inhales slowly as she reads over a map. "Yes, what is it?"
A soldier salutes her. "Captain, there is large carrier barge coming up on the stern."
Kuvira runs her hand along a path on the map. "What the insignia?"
The soldier gulps. "Future Industries, sir."
Kuvira furrows her brow finally turning to the soldier. "What?"
She heads up to the control room and picks up a pair of binoculars. That was Asami's ship. Kuvira lowers her eyes. Something must have happened with Korra. Her jaw clenches. "Hail that ship. I'll take the communication in my ready room."
The sailors salute her as she leaves the control room.
Kuvira taps her fingers on the table while she waits on a radio response from Asami's ship. This had to be some kind of mistake.
"Zaofu vessel, come in. This is the Hiroshi One. We received your hail."
Kuvira picks up the microphone then flips a few switches. "This is Captain Kuvira of the Zaofu carrier. I'd like to speak to the person in command of your ship."
After about ten minutes a familiar woman's voice comes over the radio. "Zaofu carrier, this is Asami Sato of the Hiroshi One here. Do you have some kind of emergency?"
Kuvira inhales slowly. She needed to control herself. What the hell was Asami doing there? "Miss Sato, this is Captain Kuvira, are you in private quarters?"
"No, I'm not, Captain. Why did you radio my ship?" Asami asks.
Kuvira does everything she can to maintain her composure. "It would be best if we spoke on a private channel, Miss Sato."
Asami gulps then clenches her jaw. She turns to the helmsman. "Transfer the signal to my room please."
She heads back to her cabin. She stares at the radio for a few minutes before picking up the microphone. If Kuvira wanted to speak with her privately it meant there was a problem. She flips the receiver switch and clears her throat. "This is Asami Sato. The channel is secure." The line is quiet for a minute. "Kuvira?"
The captain speaks up suddenly. "Is Korra alright?"
Asami furrows her brow surprised by the question. "What?"
"Is Avatar Korra alright?" Kuvira repeats.
Asami inhales slowly. "Yes, she's fine."
"Then I need you to explain what you're doing out here. You weren't due to leave the southern water tribe until next week. Did she ask you to leave?" The captain asks.
Kuvira rolls her eyes. "No. I left on my own." She swallows roughly. "Korra and I are no longer together."
The line goes silent for a few seconds. "Why is that?" Kuvira asks.
The heiress lowers her eyes. "Because this isn't the type of relationship I want."
"Was the sex not good enough?" Kuvira asks honestly.
Asami furrows her brow and shakes her head. "That didn't have anything to do with my decision."
"You said you wanted to be with her, Miss Sato. So what's the problem? If you truly care for her as much as you say you do..." Kuvira says firmly.
Asami averts her eyes. "It's not that simple."
"It is for me. It seems my original assessment of you was correct." Kuvira says.
Asami furrows her brow. "Excuse me? So just because I want to be monogamous you think I'm weak?"
"No. My assessment has nothing to do with your relationship preference. What I have a problem with is your character, Miss Sato. Korra will never give up on what she wants. That's why I chose her. She's strong. I thought that was why she chose you." The line goes silent for a moment. "I don't appreciate having my time wasted Miss Sato. Was she wrong about you?"
Asami swallows hard and rolls her eyes. Kuvira was right about her needing to be honest. "No, we just have a different type of strength." Neither of them speaks. Asami takes a deep breath and closes her eyes for a moment. "Kuvira…if you really care about her…"
The Captain of the guard speaks up. "That's no longer any of your concern." Kuvira says as she turns off the microphone.
She picks up the list of financial benefactors and clenches her jaw. On her present course, she'd reach Zaofu in a week. She was already 2 days from the Southern Water Tribe. If she turned around now it would throw off her entire schedule. She grits her teeth as she stares at the radio thinking of Asami. She wouldn't have left early if she knew the heiress was leaving too. She agreed to their relationship because she assumed Korra would be cared for during her absence.
The ship's counselor knocks on her door. "Captain Kuvira? Counselor Joma here. Might I have a word with you?"
Kuvira continues to look over the map in her hand. "What is it?"
The man swallows softly. "Would you like us to change course?"
"What?" Kuvira furrows her brow finally giving the man some eye contact.
"You instructed me to assist you with the Earth Kingdom reformation. I saw the Future Industries vessel. It appears Asami Sato has left the Avatar earlier than expected. We are still within the two-week time frame of your visit." He says.
"And?" The Captain almost growls.
The counselor clears his throat. "Seeing the Avatar again would increase the strength of the bonds you've created with her." He says. "Even if you can only spare a day, I believe it would solidify her loyalty to you, sir. "
Kuvira inhales slowly. "No. Maintain course. Korra…will be fine. She's aware of my feelings toward her." The young metalbender lowers her eyes. "I'll inform her of my progress next month."
The wise counselor takes a deep breath. "Permission to speak freely captain?"
Kuvira turns back to the table and makes a few notes. "Granted."
"You asked me to accompany you as an advisor. So my advice is that you turn this ship around and give the Avatar two days of your time." He says quickly. Kuvira clenches her jaw. "You told me she was a vital part of your future plans to unite the Earth Kingdom." The young Captain turns to him. "Things may not have gone well with Asami Sato. The Avatar is strong but she is also an emotional person. This is an ideal time for action. Giving her your attention now could…"
Kuvira stands to her feet. Her stern green-eyed gaze is locked on the counselor. "Korra doesn't need to be coddled. Now maintain…course."
Joma gulps and nods apprehensively. "Yes, Captain."
Kuvira turns back to her desk. She couldn't get the heiress off her mind. Was this Korra's mistake or hers?
The radio on the captain's desk begins to crackle. Asami apprehensively speaks up. "Uhh, Kuvira, can we talk? Face to face? I want you to understand what happened. I really think…"
Kuvira scowls as the heiress continues to speak. She picks up the microphone. "Prepare to be boarded."
She stops the ship's counselor on her way out. "Joma, bring the ship around to the west side of the bow. Have Mikel begin observation."
The counselor furrows his brow. "Yes, captain."
20 minutes later…
There is a knock on Asami's cabin door. The CEO clears her throat then moves to stand in front of her desk. "Come in."
Kuvira's eyes are the first thing she notices. There was something different about her. Something sinister. The door closes. The loud clank of the door seemed to be some kind of signal because Kuvira began walking towards her. Asami furrows her brow when the captain places her hands on her waist. "Kuvira? What are you d-…" Their lips meet. Asami attempts to push her away but Kuvira only tightens the grip on her waist.
A few seconds later the metalbender stops completely. She smiles when she feels a platinum hairpin against her throat, but doesn't remove her hands from Asami's waist. "Mmm, you're learning." She moves her lips in closer.
Asami pushes the pin in enough to make the captain wince. "Stop."
"Make me." Kuvira says as she steals another kiss. She sucks Asami's bottom lip into her mouth while firmly grasping the young CEO's ass, pulling her in even closer.
To this day Asami still can't figure out what made her succumb to Kuvira's wiles. Maybe it was the fact that they were in her office. She'd never considered bringing anyone there before. Or maybe it was the sway of the ocean that turned her on.
She grabs the collar of the captain's suit, turns her around, and slams the woman down on her desk. To her surprise, Kuvira unbuttons her pants and spreads her legs. Asami smirks before slipping her hand beneath the captain's underwear. Kuvira returns the sentiment by furiously rolling her hips driving Asami's fingers deeper into her sex.
The heiress trembles as she watches Kuvira come for her. After a long strangely sweet kiss, Kuvira switches their positions placing Asami's arms around her neck. Asami is already beyond wet. Kuvira's fingers slip all too easily between the CEO's slick folds.
"You want it?" Kuvira whispers.
"Take it." Asami says while biting the captain's earlobe. Her breath hitches a few seconds later as Kuvira's fingers vibrate within her. "Mmm, fuck…yes."
It doesn't take long but Kuvira enjoys every second of it. She gently kisses the heiress before removing her fingers. "Did you like that?" Kuvira asks. Asami averts her eyes and zips up her skirt. "Is there a problem?"
Asami moves to sit behind her desk choosing to ignore the captain's questions. "I just wanted to talk to you about Korra. If you care about her you should go back to the water tribe."
Kuvira straightens her collar. "You'll be staying away from her from now on."
"Excuse me?" Asami says.
"I can't imagine how she would feel knowing you dumped her just to be with me." The metalbender says.
Asami furrows her brow. "What?"
Kuvira walks around the back of Asami's desk to the window. "Have you ever heard of a mover?"
Asami swallows hard. "Yes. It's one of Varrick's inventions."
"It's a unique technology. It can record events and replay them as moving pictures. We use it for training in Zaofu for espionage mostly." Kuvira says while continuing to look out the window.
"Okay and?" The heiress says.
Kuvira turns to her and holds out her hand. Asami takes it. Kuvira moves her in front of the window. "Can you see that flash of light on the stern of my ship?"
Asami's eyes widen. She quickly moves away from the sly captain. "No. That's not possible."
"If you ever make a pass at Korra again I'll show her the recording." Kuvira says. Asami shakes her head no. Kuvira roughly grasps Asami's jaw forcing her to make eye contact. "You understand why this is happening, don't you? You fucked her, made her fall in love with you, then you abandoned her. Unfortunately for you, I'm committed to Korra. And when someone fucks her over, they're fucking me over too."
Asami tries to pull her face away. "You can't. She won't..."
Kuvira tightens her grip to keep Asami still. "Wrong. Korra knows me. She knows my past. She'll understand that you invited me on board your ship for one last romp and I obliged you. If you don't want to lose whatever is left of your friendship with her you'll do as you're told."
The heiress finally escapes Kuvira's vice-like grip. She rubs her now sore jaw.
Kuvira watches her. "It must hurt to want someone you despise."
Asami lowers tear welled eyes. "You're right. It does."
Kuvira feels a small tinge of regret. She takes Asami's hand. "If you turn your ship around and go back to the southern water tribe we can forget this ever happened."
Their eyes lock. Asami shakes her head no. "I hate that I'm attracted to you, but now more than ever I understand why it never would have worked between the three of us. Please leave my ship."
Back on board the Zaofu vessel…
"Your orders captain." One of the crew members asks.
Kuvira inhales deeply taking one last look at Asami's ship. "Maintain course to Zaofu. We have work to do."
