A/N: This is a poem written for the Daily Prophet in the QLFC! I typically don't write poems, so I hope this is okay. The relationship is the friendship of Dumbledore and Harry, the fire is embodied in the last verse during the battle of Hogwarts and the castle is being destroyed/burned down and Harry can see it from the forest. Enjoy!

In the End
In the end,
He was more than a teacher,
He was a friend,
It was then,
That their friendship began to transcend.
In the end.
In the beginning,
It seemed like a dream.
An old wizard grinning,
A young one learning.
It seemed like the world was spinning,
In the beginning.
At the close,
A lone, young wizard sacrificed,
Watched as the flames rose,
And met a friend for a last time.
They said, "Farewell, I suppose"
At the close.
