Hullo, here is the next instalment!
Now a few things before you read;

1) I've decided who the love interest is, and I can't wait to fit Thea into this. I ship it hard guys, but it means that somethings will have to change slightly- meaning we might veer from cannon slightly.

2) I'm not sure how quickly I will be updating, but hopefully it will be on a semi-regular basis! I'm so excited for you all to get to know Thea and follow her journey- see how she entwines with the other characters.

3) I've been bitten by the plot bunny and have another piece in the works; my question is would you guys want me to post it as well as Losing Faith or finish season 1 Losing Faith and post after? I also have some ideas for one-shot pieces which are way off our current timeline in Losing Faith, would you guys want me to post them also or save them until we reach that point in the LF-Thea saga?

Lemme know?

As always, read and if you have any thoughts, questions drop me a message! And if you just wanna chat about Thea or the questions I've asked- drop in my inbox!

Love

Charlie :)

Chapter 7; The Tell.

The disbelief coursing through Thea that morning- nearly took her breath away. Yanking on a pair of jeans and a random top that Thea hoped Lydia would approve of- though not caring all that much, she continued to let her mind wander as she piled her hair on top of her head in a messy bun; Scott was a werewolf.

Werewolves existed in Beacon Hills.

Stiles knew about it all.

Neither of the boys had told her.

She had been completely in the dark. Who else knew about werewolves? Allison's family were hunters… Did that mean that Allison knew too?

Thea sighed as she looked at her tired eyes face in the mirror above her dresser; no amount of makeup would make her look semi-decent, she could not be bothered to stab the contacts into her aching eyes and instead shoved her glasses onto her face. Combing back the stray hairs around her forehead and breathing slowly- she stood from the stool and made her way through the empty and echoing apartment. Forcing herself to eat something and take her tablets- she contemplated taking an extra or two to see if that would help her regain her grip on reality. She shook her head and took the tablets a prescribed- before making her way down to the parking garage, she came to an abrupt halt in front of her empty parking bay. Groaning and fisting her hands by her side as she remembered the previous nights events- she had been given a ride by Stiles throughout the lycanthrope debacle. Forcing her body back towards the elevator- watching the doors slide closed in front of her drawn face. Stepping backwards until her back rested on the cool metal of the walls enclosing her inside the moving elevator; tilting her head to also rest there, her eyes catching sight of something out the corner of her eye. She focused her gaze and tried desperately to catch sight of it again- unluckily though this was to no avail. Frustration seeped deep into her bones; she was just so tired of everything. She was losing her mind- she was sure of it.

Just as she had come to the realisation that maybe she was exhausted and needed a few emotional and mental health days- the elevator halted in it's smooth movements. The metal box came to a juddering halt; Thea stood up straight- her whole body tensing. She could really do without being stuck in this tin box today of all days. She could feel an unsettled feeling ooze through her body- grappling or her phone from her bag; she hoped to find some service present, it was a long shot, but someone out there really had it in for her- she was without cell service.

Whining like a puppy- she stepped cautiously over to the buttons- pressing the emergency call one, hoping someone would help her out. Biting at the tip of her tongue as all that sounded from the small speaker was a static; sounding like white noise, making goose-bumps raise all over her body. Thea felt a familiar tingling behind her eyes- and she admonished herself not to cry. She pressed the call button again- in hopes someone would respond if she annoyed them enough. Her breathing picked up as she could have sworn the temperature in the small enclosed space began to rise- though it was probably all her imagination. Trying to calm her erratic heart rate and breathing- Thea held the bridge of her nose between her fingers and thumb, squeezing. Her eyes dropping closed as she counted in her head from one- to- twenty. Opening them again to see her reflection in the scratched doors of the elevator- she started when the small speaker crackled again. A hiss of white noise followed by a core shaking voice; one she remembered vividly, one she hoped she would forget as time wore on.

"Rahshesh melnine arabain, Belac Durh…" Thea felt herself stop breathing- her body tensing up as she stared around the small space for an escape. She could feel her body tremble, slowly backing away from the panel on the wall before her. Huddling herself into the corner- trying to make herself as small as possible, hoping to avoid the situation all together. The lift began shaking- like an earth quake was happening- the walls shivering violently, loud screeching noises sounded as suddenly Thea was being dropped from the level the lift was stuck on. The shrill scream, that fell from her lips, did nothing to cover the booming of the chanting coming from the speakers. "Rahshesh melnine arabain, Belac Durh…" it was like a broken record- pummelling her ears- lifting her hands hoping to quell the cacophony. Thea felt the quaking stop- she heard the chanting continue, the air around her began to cool until she could see the mist of her breath puff out in front of her. The doors slid open silently; the widening gap like a yawning giant. The parking garage was empty save a few cars. Thea lifted her head cautiously from where it lay cradled on her arms, peeking out into the barely lit garage. Steeling herself she shuffled over to her dropped bag and began to slowly- make her way from her previous prison and towards the stair well. Just as her hand made contact with the cool push panel on the door- she could feel a sense of foreboding settle within her core. Her nervous gaze stuttered around the empty area; trying to catch a glimpse pf why she was so uneasy.

"Hello darling…" was whispered in to her ear; eyes wide, goose-bumps covering her skin and frozen in sheer panic. Thea was sure she had stopped breathing. The presence behind her slipping away; the footfalls almost silent. Thea couldn't move- she didn't dare to. The presence no longer pressed up against her back. Thea let out a shaking breath, turning her head at an agonisingly slow rate- she checked all around her and began to push against the heavy door- but they wouldn't budge. Thea tried to quell the panic rising inside her as she tried to use more force against the doors- they stayed stuck. Leaving Thea with one option, to make her way back to the elevator. Turning and scanning her surroundings- she thought she was alone. But as soon as her feet began moving her swiftly to the elevator. She could hear it… a deep menacing growl- and a tittering laugh. Thea hurried her steps willing herself further forwards; she was nearly there. When something snagged at her foot- the misstep sent her sprawling to the floor; hands thrown out in front of her desperate to stop her head making contact with the smooth asphalt.

Tears leaking from her eyes as the skin on her palms burst open- spots of blood oozing from the grazes there. Sniffling Thea dragged herself up onto her burning hands and knees- forcing herself forwards, she was so close; so nearly there. That's when she felt it- a thick and heavy feeling gripping around her ankle. Not daring to look back- she scrabbled at the floor, trying to dig her nails into the ground, much like the nails biting into her exposed ankle… no not nails; claws. Thea could feel the tips of her nails split and break off- as she was dragged away from the only solace she hoped to have. She couldn't even scream- her throat felt like it was closing up- the thick feeling of tears clogging up her windpipe. The tittering laughter echoed around the deathly silent garage.

"We've got you now Thea…" it whispered tauntingly. Thea sobbed. She could feel a pressure building inside her; unsure what to do she laid still, hoping this ordeal would end swiftly. Then all of a sudden the pressure inside her and the claws were no more. Still, she lay silently sobbing on the floor. After what felt like hours- but could have only been a minute at most- Thea composed herself enough to check her surroundings. The garage was still black- the lights flickering menacingly against the walls; causing a strobing effect, she shielded her eyes and gripped the strap of her bag- yanking it towards her, she slowly pushed up onto her hands and knees again before forcing her aching body up fully; she stood slightly crouched, almost preparing for another attack of some sort. She span slowly- taking in all areas of the darkened garage as well as she could. The growl sounded again- forcing her to freeze.

Breath held within her lungs.

Thea looked dead ahead of her and caught sight of the straggled stranger; knotted, lank black hair dangling in her face. Laughter echoing constantly. The figure next to her was a hulking grey beast; its body covered in a leathery looking skin, no blade would penetrate, it was covered in sprouts of course grey fur- almost as gnarled as the woman's hair. Together they began a slow pace towards her- Thea stood, paralysing fear coursing through her trembling body. The smaller of the figures- stalking towards her, lifted her arm, something glinting in the sparse light; causing the fear in her body to spike. The closer they came- the more panic overwhelmed Thea. For every one step back she took- the gruesome pair took at least two towards her; her escape wouldn't happen. No one would save her. And as that realization sank- so did the painfully pumping heart, heavy like lead within her chest. She felt like her body was almost vibrating; almost like an electrical current was coursing through her veins. Her hands lifted of their own accord- as if to ward of her attackers as they prowled ever closer, her hands trembled and once they were chest height- the pair sprang at her. Thea managed to dodge the sharp edge of the blade being thrust towards her- by leaping backwards. As the woman prepared for another attack- the beast hung back, growling and salivating; as if watching the grudge match and waiting for it's turn to play. Thea set her shoulders and kept her hands raised- hoping they could catch any damage the blade would do to her delicate skin.

As the woman twisted the blade in her hands- tossing it carelessly between them as she taunted Thea- she laughed; a cold, hard laugh. It was cruel and was meant to cause pain. The woman struck like a viper, quick and it caught Thea off guard. The blade slicing into her hip- making her gasp as the skin split and blood gently oozed out. The woman let out a maniacal laugh- it was shrill and bordered on hysterical. Then Thea felt it. A soothing calm take over her- the foreign feeling edged the panic and terror out of her system, her eyes taking on a familiar ache; her palms became clammy and felt like they were buzzing all at the same time. The woman bent over double as she continued her raucous laughter- the hulking beast let out snuffles of air which could have been mistaken for an attempt at laughter. Once the bubbling and buzzing had settled within Thea- she flashed open her eyes, raising her head and her hands. She took in a deep breath, then splayed her fingers in front of her; palms screaming as the movement caused the raw, grazed skin on her palms to flex. Once her lungs felt as if they would burst from the pressure- she let out a forceful scream. As the air and shrill noise was expelled from her body- the figures were tossed backwards as if nothing more than ragdolls. The beast flailing trying to grasp and scrabble at the floor to gain grip; much like Thea had moments prior. The woman on the other hand, flew through the air; limbs and hair tangling as her body flipped and flailed before crashing into one of the cement columns supporting the garage.

Thea felt her eyes widen- as the bodies were flung from her, the remaining cars in the garage all began blaring their horns and alarms. Windows splintered, crackling pieces of glass showering onto the floor surrounding them. Thea dropped her hands quickly- stumbling back until she landed on her butt. The thud juddering her back to reality; she looked at the carnage littering around her. Pushing her self backwards on her hands and feet; shuffling like a crab away from the scene- hoping the more distance she put between it and herself the less likely it had even happened to begin with. She felt her eyes scan to the two crumpled bodies- she felt her breath hitch as she spotted neither were where they had been moments ago. A sinking feeling settled within her stomach; her confused eyes flickering around before catching sight of the bloody knife a few feet in front of her- as she slowly came to her own senses she could feel the throbbing in her hip, letting her fingers graze against the wound- she lifted her fingers to see as well as feel the hot sticky liquid now coating them. Letting her eyes wander around the destroyed cars and pillars; Thea was becoming more and more sure that she hadn't imagined any of what had just happened- she had been attacked. And she had evidence now. She scuttled forwards cautiously and let her fingers dance over the cool and slick blade- gripping it fearfully in her hand before making a mad dash; with it and her bag back to stairwell. This time when she tried the doors- she was able to shove them open with ease; one of them barely hanging onto its hinges as it whined at the movement. Thea peeked through the glass at face height, her reflection barely visible in the cracked pane. Biting her lip she fled up the stairs and back to the apartment.

Thea flung herself through the cavernous abode; giving herself the appropriate first aid- or as much as she thought would be necessary, she wasn't a Dr or trained nurse after all. She then tried to think of an appropriate place to stash the blade- her mind coming up blank. Where the hell does one hide a weapon used against them; a weapon she wasn't going to give to the police, one she wasn't quite sure whether to tell anyone about, one she wasn't sure whether to keep or not. She sighed, gripping her hands tightly into her wrecked hair. Finally deciding to stash the bloodied blade into plastic bag- hidden within a box underneath her bed- it was the best she could do at this point, she then resolved to try and shove the events of the past couple of days far from her mind, as she looked into the mirror to examine herself. She was a mess. Plain and simple. She closed her eyes and tried not to whimper as she looked at the bloodied outfit she would now have to change; ripping the clothes of and replacing them with a 'fashionable' dress and combat boots combo. She looked desperately at the clock glaring the time at her. She was cutting it close- if she didn't dash now, and sprint to the bus stop down the street, she was going to be late as hell. She had no car of her own, and no ride from a friend; she wasn't sure she wanted to be in an enclosed space with Scott or Stiles just yet- thinking of them and how they had kept things secret from her recently, her stomach churned uncomfortably, and her heart sink. Nodding her head resolutely- Thea had one choice, the bus. And so she ran.

She ran like her life depended on it- she ran like she was back in the parking garage; skidding to a stop in front of the yellow transportation just as the doors began to slide shut. Thea smiled sheepishly as the driver grumbled as she passed. She made her way through the aisle looking for a seat that was either empty or occupied by someone she wouldn't hate. Thea felt as if all of her prayers had been answered as she spied the frizzy but familiar head of hair belonging to one Erica Reyes. Smiling as she made her way over- she plopped down on the bench seat next to her usually chirpy friend. But the welcome she received made her freeze- it was frosty to say the least. Erica glared at the brunette- barely keeping her eyes from rolling form their sockets as she scoffed.

"What no posse or royal carriage today m'lady? Decided to slum it with us peasants?" Erica snarked. Her blue eyes holding nothing but resentment towards Thea. Thea forced herself to not physically recoil at the malice lacing the blondes words. Thea had no words to respond- baring an apology, that Erica did deserve; Thea had practically ignored her blonde friend since her birthday. The guilt wrenched within her gut as she sent a side-long glance at the Reyes girl. When she was met with a stony glare, Thea let her eyes slip downwards, landing on the dangling charm bracelet swinging from her bruising wrist. A soft gasp sounded from beside her; causing Thea to raise her eyes, Erica was staring at the harsh bruising and angry grazes on her wrist. Thea tugged the denim sleeve of her jacket down slightly- feeling her face heat up and flush.

"Care to share?" Erica asked- her voice not quite as hostile as before, her eyes had softened towards Thea exponentially. Thea tried not to smile, before shaking her head slowly.

"I fell…" was all she said, Erica rolled her eyes and chuckled slightly. Thea couldn't hold back the grin at hearing the slightly wheezy, but familiar sound. "And I'm sorry for not being around recently… It's been pretty rough. And Allison and Lydia are pretty full on… I didn't mean to neglect you. I'm so sorry Erica.." Thea stated softly, playing with the dangling charms on her bracelet. She could feel Erica stiffen slightly next to her, before a clammy hand gently gripped her own. Erica ended up handing Thea an earbud and the two listened to the latest Supernatural podcast in an amicable silence as they journeyed to school. When they had arrived- Thea could feel a ball of nerves tighten in her stomach as she followed Erica through the crowds- which parted like the red sea for them both. Thea went through the motions; collecting her books from her locker and trying to dodge the questioning gazes of the general populace of Beacon Hills High, she tried to blend into the crowds like she had done before a certain strawberry blonde had bounded into her life- but that was harder than she first assumed it would be; eyes followed her every move, setting her nerves on high alert. The brunette tried to keep her gaze locked in front of her as she sought out her frizzy friend- she had agreed to join Erica all day to make up for the recent neglect- as she trudged her way through the halls, she couldn't help but notice some familiar eyes were missing. A striking pair of green eyes, a comforting dark gaze, harsh blue and a comforting puppy focus were all missing. Thea felt herself frown as she noticed that; Lydia, Allison, Scott and Jackson were all missing in action. As she stumbled upon this realisation, her eyes caught on the familiar caramel gaze of Stiles. Before she looked away abruptly and practically ran to her class for the beginning of the school day.

To say Thea was avoiding the Stilinski boy- would have been an understatement. And it was harder than she would have first imagined; she had never noticed just how many classes, and how much time the spent together until she was adamant she wanted nothing to do with the twitchy boy for now. She only had a few hours left of it all and then she would be free- at least for the evening. She shrugged her bag higher onto her shoulder as she tried to creep through the crowded hallways- though this was much easier before her anonymity was torn from her. Thea was doing well at avoiding the twitchy boy- until Erica bumped shoulder with her as the two walked towards the doors from the school, she had nearly managed it, she was so close- but alas as she had assumed earlier- someone, somewhere in power hated her. Stiles had spotted her in the crowd easily enough- as most were staring at her like she was an animal in the zoo- and began to make his way to her. He elbowed and shouldered people out of his way; he needed to talk to her, he needed to explain. Plus he wanted to know if Scott had contacted her at all.

Thea held her breath and tried to move faster through the crowd- hoping to make it out the doors quickly enough to not allow Stiles to catch up to her.

"Hey, did you hear about Lydia and Jackson?" Erica asked, her hand gently gripping Thea's elbow to gain her attention- when Thea shook her head Erica continued. "Apparently they were attacked last night by the mountain lion that's prowling Beacon like a personal zoo…" Erica kept her tone neutral, and her voice soft so as not to startle Thea with the gossip. It then made sense to her why the pair had not been in school today- hell Thea thought about taking a mental health day for herself after this morning. She felt a hand grip her shoulder, and she sighed. She had been so close.

"Thea.. Hey, can we talk?" Stiles asked, his chocolate eyes pleading- and Thea had a hard time not tapping her fingers in her nerves. At seeing her uncomfortable friend Erica took it upon herself to get over her own nerves at the object pf her affection/ obsession being so close to her- and sucked in a breath before coughing obnoxiously to gain his attention. She hated to admit to herself just how much it stung her, that Stiles hadn't even spotted her with Thea. At the cough Stiles felt his eyes widen- he had been so focused on getting to Thea, he knew she was avoiding him- and he tried not to let his blood simmer at the thought, that he hadn't spotted Erica Reyes standing close to Thea- hand resting on the crook of her elbow. He could feel his cheeks and neck warming up.

"Hey Erica, how ya doing?" Stiles asked, letting his hand trail up and rub the back of his neck. Thea held her breath and thought over her options; run to the doors and hope like hell Stiles couldn't follow her. Or she could bite the bullet, metaphorically of course- she wasn't about to re-enact last night's adventure with hunter bullets. Instead of answering, she just nodded her head. Glancing to the side to look for support from Erica, whom just shrugged her shoulders.

"I'm okay… Haven't had a seizure in almost a week now… so that's a bonus. Plus I think my mom's in the parking lot waiting for me cause of the parent-teacher conferences.. so another bonus.. I guess.. How about you?" Erica stated quietly, rambling as a blush rose from her feet to cover her entire body. Stiles nodded along, following everything she said quickly.

"Wow, congrats… on the seizure thing, that's uhhh… Parent-teacher conferences, wait they're tonight?!" Stiles rambled as his brain caught up with what she had just stated. Erica nodded, a faint smile on her lips- Thea could see the delicate blush frosting her cheeks and fought a smile off herself; this was one of the longest and most successful conversations the frizzy haired teen had, had with the twitchy teen. She watched as Stiles brushed his hand over his buzzed hair and his eyes widened. Stiles nodded resolutely and grabbed Thea's arm before dragging her away. Thea managed a wave over he shoulder towards Erica- who was frowning but copied her friends motions, as she watched her be dragged away as usual by the guy she was crushing hard on.

Stiles dragged Thea all the way to his jeep- the pair got in and he started her up, he drove on auto-pilot and let his body take over as his mind focused on the fact that his dad was gonna kick his skinny, sarcastic little ass after the conferences tonight. It wasn't until he heard a car door slamming did he re-focus on what he was doing, he took note of his surroundings and realized they were at Toby's. he followed Thea's lead and the pair walked into the diner finding a booth and ordering curly fries and shakes.

"So…" Stiles began, trying to break the tension; he didn't actually know where to start. He waited, watching the brunette in front of him as she dipped her fries into her shake- Thea was doing so to try and win some time before having to deal with this.

"So…" She repeated, eyeing her chocolate milkshake as if it were the most interesting thing on the planet. Her mind was a buzz; she knew Stiles wanted to talk to her about the werewolf situation, and Thea wondered if she should let him in on the crazy she was experiencing. As her mind raced her lips had a different plan. "Were you guys going to ever tell me, like if you didn't have to?" her voice didn't sound like her, it wasn't the deep voice when she was calm- but it sounded like something she wished to never let others hear; it was small and broken. Almost like her mind- the cracks beginning to show in her wavering voice now. Stiles sighed, he knew she would be hurt- but he hadn't expected her to look or sound the way she did.

"It's complicated Thea. We didn't even know what was happening, not really- plus it's Scott's secret, you know? It's not really my place to talk about all of.. this!" Stiles spoke in a soft voice- which surprised Thea, she didn't know he could control his volume that well and a faint smile danced on her lips at the thought. Stiles frowned as he watched her smile- he thought she was going to blow up at him.

"I get that… So what happened?" Thea asked, biting into more fries and watching Stiles do the same- she felt her phone vibrate in her pocket, she took it out to see it full of notifications. Some from Lydia; which made sense now Thea knew what was happened to her the night before. She could see a couple of texts from Alison, Sties and Scott. The newest message was from her dad; saying he would meet her at the school later. As she read the screen, another message came through from Lydia, Thea rolled her eyes as she spotted that all of the notifications from her were pictures and video clips- she didn't bother to play it yet. Ignoring it and wating for Stiles to answer; and so he did, he told her about how when they all got separated Scott thought he was bitten by a wolf, but wolves hadn't lived in California for years, then weird stuff began happening with him, he was fast, good at lacrosse all of a sudden, being drawn into a pack with Derek, who they weren't entirely sure if he was the one who bit Scott in the first place. Stiles decided to leave out the weirdness which Thea herself was involved in- wondering if she was even aware of it herself or not.

Thea sat in stunned silence. It was a lot. They were right, but she couldn't help feeling slightly betrayed by the fact that neither boy had bothered to let her in on the issues at hand- but then a little voice from the back of her mind brutally reminded her that she wasn't exactly being entirely honest with either of them. She sighed and let her fingers tap on the table in a familiar pattern. Her mind focusing on the information and trying to process it. Stiles' eyes were drawn to the tapping. He felt his lips settle into a grimace. Balling up a napkin and tossing it at her head, he waited for her to react. Thea visibly shook herself from thinking.

"Wanna talk about that?" Stiles said, pointing emphatically at her incessant tapping. Thea stopped as he made a point of it. The girl's eyes widened- she was taken aback that Stiles had spotted some of her previous behaviours occurring, especially when there was obviously other things happening currently. And as Thea looked into his inquisitive chocolate eyes- she could feel her resolve breaking, she could feel the walls crack more and she was close to letting the dam flood. Stiles nudged her foot with his own; he knew there was something going on, hell even Scott had figured something was wrong. And he felt a little less guilty with the knowledge that she was hiding something from them also- though he hoped that she would open up and maybe the three of them could face whatever was coming at them together- like they faced and dealt with everything else, each of their traumatic pasts. Thea breathed in deeply, mentally weighing whether she should involve Stiles- and Scott as extension, in all of her crazy; the pair already had very full plates as it seemed. Thea looked to the table top- before then looking back at Stiles and she made her decision resolutely, she could do this.

"Something has been happening… since that night. Well my birthday really, but it seems like a pretty focal point…" she muttered, finding the cutlery on the table to be extremely interesting. "It started with dreams… and then hallucinations I guess, cause I'm not asleep anymore when I can see things. People." Thea could feel her hands shaking as she spoke, she fisted them on the table top to try and hide the fact. And once she began speaking to Stiles, it was as if she couldn't stop- and she hoped to god and hell alike that she would never be tortured at any point in her life, cause she'd crumble like a paper ball. Stiles stayed silent throughout her monologue, something which looking back- was impressive, the boy couldn't even stay quiet when he was asleep. When she had finished, Thea felt herself breath deeply- the weight had been resting on her shoulders, dragging her down with its heaviness. Stiles blinked a few times, lifting his hand to rest over his mouth, eyebrows drawn down.

"Well shit.." he cursed, slightly muffled by his hand. "So the exploding garage.. you screamed and things blew up? And you think your mother is haunting you?" he asked watching Thea nod, Stiles in return bobbed his own head.

"Okay… I have some other information for you to process in this convoluted mess that our lives have turned out to be.. When you 'lose time' your eyes, they go black and Scott acts like you're his human owner and he's a puppy or something.. and it kinda happened with Derek too last night- so I guess you have some weird connection to werewolves?" Stiles muttered, still frowning. "And your mom isn't haunting you… she's stalking you. She never died and has been locked up in Eichen for years.. and apparently she's busted out.. And the big creature, I guess that could be another werewolf.. or even Derek.." Stiles was letting his lips run of their own accord as he unlocked his phone and typed out a very passive aggressive text to the absent were-teen- letting him know what he knew. As this happened, Thea jut sat frozen. Her worst fear was coming true- she felt like the walls were closing in on her, she suddenly felt far too warm and was struggling to focus on anything. Her breaths beginning to come in short gasps. Stiles looked up when he heard her breathing hitch in an irregular rhythm- not wanting the girl to pass out, and not being quiet in the right mindset to support her in a panic attack- he did the only thing he could think of in the moment. And that was how Thea ended up drenched with icy water. She gasped and puffed catching her breath as the icy water trickled from the tip of her nose.

"Look I know- I've dropped a bomb on you, and you have every right to freak out.. but yeah… Sorry about the water.." Stiles stated his eyes wide as if not quite processing what he had done. They both looked at the wet patch growing on her top- Stiles struggled not to laugh, while Thea fumed. Stiles flailed as his and Thea's phones both vibrated on the table between them- they glanced at the screens and saw not only a short message from Scott; telling them to meet him at the school, but also a video clip from Lydia. Stiles moved on autopilot and pressed the notification; the pair were horrified to see a short video, one focusing on the recognisable but hideous beast that had attacked Thea that morning, they watched with wide eyes as the beast hurled itself out of the video store window and began to prowl towards the camera, before turning and galloping away. Thea looked to Stiles and her bottom lip trembled slightly.

"That thing attacked me this morning…" she whispered, her voice not strong enough. Stiles rubbed a hand over his buzzed hair before grabbing her hand and dragging her to the jeep.

"We gotta talk to Scotty about this.." Stiles yelped as they got in and he sped away to the school. No words were exchanged during the ride to the school, neither party really knowing what to say- Thea in her own mind prison; her mother was alive, she could feel her blood simmering in her veins- everyone she cared about and thought card about her had lied to her- lied to her face for years. Her hands shook with the venomous anger coursing through her- she didn't know who to aim it at first; Scott and Stiles her 'supposed' best friends, or her absent father. As she clenched her hand into a tight ball; the car parked next to them at a traffic light began blaring its alarm- the driver of the car looking bewildered, Stiles glanced to the car startled by the sudden noise- he then looked to Thea, his eyes narrowing slightly as he took in the dark expression on her face and clenched, shaking fists in her lap. He puffed out a breath before taking off when the light showed green. They arrived at the school- the parking lot was filled, Stiles struggling to find a parking spot, when they finally had one they each dropped from the vehicle before trying to spot Scott through all of the cars and people dawdling to their own vehicles.

"There!" Stiles pointed out, holding Thea's wrist and pulling her behind him as they made their way towards the teen-wolf. The once peaceful parking lot suddenly became a rush of terror as a scream pierced the air. People who were once wandering carelessly, were now running full speed away from something. Stiles could hear his name being called out by his dad. Thea, could hear her name being yelled in panicked tones by two voices. Stiles stopped, still holding Thea's wrist as people dashed around them- choosing to wait for Scott to make his way to them instead. It was as Stiles looked to see exactly where his dad was that his grip on Thea loosened and she was pulled from his grasp, and dragged into the masses. Scott had been making his was to his friends, holding Alison's hand and trying not to smile too much- his face felt like it would split in to two, he'd spent the day with the Argent girl and his mind hadn't once wandered to Thea, until he got Stiles' messaged him, a fact he had let slip his mind until hie eyes found her figure in the crowd. And that was when everything came rushing back; his heart skipped slightly as he took in her appearance, she looked lost, her hair and clothes wet for some reason, her eyes looking haunted. He felt his chest tighten at the sight of her- he let got of Alison's hand and began making his way over to her- to Thea. When that blood curdling scream was let out, Scott felt his heart stop momentarily. When the crowds began to panic- his body worked of its own accord, propelling him to Thea quicker. Alison was forgotten and left behind his retreating figure.

Scott pushed and forced himself through the crowds as Thea was swept up in them. He was making progress, almost there- until he heard it, his enhanced hearing picking up on the squealing of the car taring towards them. It felt like time slowed, as he grabbed for the Montgomery girl. The speeding car rapidly making its way to mow Thea down. Scott finally reached his prize- one of his arms wrapping around her the other wrapping to cradle her head as he threw them both to the floor, rolling to the grass surrounding the parking lot- out of danger's path. The pair rolled until Scott was situated uncomfortably on the slightly damp grass- Thea cradled to his chest. A gasp slipped past her lips as she realised what had happened. Scott let out a puff of air in relief. He could feel his heart take on an unfamiliar rhythm as Thea laid atop him. Her- wide doe-like eyes focused down at him and her bottom lip slipped between her teeth and a pretty pink blush dusted her cheeks- making Scott's lips pull up at one corner slightly.

"You okay?" He asked softly, as the hand cradling her head moved to stroke hair away from her face- moving down slowly to rest gently on her cheek, thumb sliding across her cheek until it rested on the corner of her plump lips- he delicately pulled and watched mesmerised as he bottom lip was tugged from her worrying teeth. All Thea could do was nod- she was barely breathing, she was sure of it. Her heart thumping at an alarming rate- she was surprised Scott couldn't feel it; and if he did she was grateful for the fact he chose not to bring it up- both of her hands were resting on his chest, and she felt comforted by the steady rhythm. As the pair were in their own world, cradled in each others arms- Alison's hazel eyes filled with unshed tears; something was wrong with her and Scott, and now it all made sense, at least to her- Scott cared about Alison, but it appeared that he cared more deeply for Thea, and as much as she tried, Alison couldn't bring herself to dislike either of them- they didn't seem to know their feelings for each other just yet. And all to suddenly their world was crumbled around them as a booming gunshot rang out. The panic ceased- a thud followed the shot and it was as if the crowd all inhaled sharply as the body of a mountain lion dropped to the floor. It was over- or so the general masses believed.
