THAT LOSER: a Nancy Bobofit story.
This is my second year at Goode High School. I've went through more schools than pairs of shoes, and that's saying something. Goode was a last resort kind of thing, and after I was expelled from my last school, I was sent here.
I came to the averge everyday public school after winter break last year, and everyone was going on about this 'nemo' kid and how he went missing. They even put up a fundraiser for the guy.
It was difficult, but with a little pursasion and getting my hands dirty, I became the most popular, feared girl in the school, because being popular is the same as being feared.
This was the first day of school for the new year, and I was officaily a Senior. Though my grand entrance was ruined, because this loser came in with me, not that it matters that he came in with me, but who he was did matter.
He was wearing a hoodie over his face and he slouched a bit, looking as loser like as ever. I couldn't see his face, but it probably had a bunch of achne all over it.
I walked in, expecting everyone to stare envious at me, whisper about ow amazing I look, and crowd around me. That's not what happened. I walk in and of course everyone looks at me, but then they look at the loser as he straightens up and pulls down his hood. Then, cause he's weird, flips his hair out of his eyes in slow motion, like some kind of rom-com.
"NEMO!" Everyone, even the teachers, yelled at the kid.
"Missed me?" He smirked. He had mischevious green eyes and unrully raven back hair. I swear he looks so familiar.
"What the hell happened?" A loser girl asked. "We saw on the news that you had gone home, just like that, nobody finding you. Who 'napped you? What did they do to you? Why did they 'napp you?"
"Sammy, sammy, sammy. Always the questions with you, but seriously, I don't know anything. One minute I was at my girlfriends, the next I was waking eightmonths later with a bunch of other people across the world." He shrugged.
"We thought you had died." Alex, the best swimmer, besides the legandary 'Nemo', said.
" 'Napped, sure. Die, never." Nemo said it so confedently that it was like he would never die, ever.
"Who are you?" I asked, irratated that I was being ignored. He turned around and a flash of recognition went through his face.
"Nancy?" He tilited his head, like the dork in sixth grade did.
"Percy?" I glared at the loser. "You're Nemo? No way, your to much of a loser to be Nemo." I scoffed.
"Sorry, girf, Imma Nemo." He smirked and turned around.
Finally my friends come to my side. and we start talking, I try to forget that Percy was going to my school, but of course the my luck sucks.
"How do you know Percy?" Kayla asked.
"He used to go to my school in sixth grade, he was such a loser." I growled.
"Oh, well, he's not now. He's the most awesome guy here." Amy said giddily.
"No way." I scoffed again.
"Yeah, but something changed, he wasn't so mellow before he was 'napped." Kayla said sollumly.
"He seems like the same loser as before." I growled, leaving my friends. They didn't know what they were saying, no one changed, they only grew more what they were. And Percy was just more of a loser and punching bag as ever. This school year was going to be ruled by me, and no loser fish guy was going to change that.
