I quickly moved so that he could join me. Once I was far enough out of the way, where Alice had been wading when I jumped, I watched Em step back and then fling himself off the edge. I could hear him laughing yet yelling at the same time. When he landed in the water I swam to him. "So how was it?" I asked once he surfaced and we started heading toward Alice. "That was amazing! I see why you love it." he said and Alice laughed. "Bella wasn't always like she is now. She was the first of us kids to ever jump from up there." She explained. Emmett looked at me with surprise. "It's true. But only because I was dared by someone and I didn't want to be laughed at. So I jumped, Alice jumped after me that day. From then on every nice day we would come out here and jump and scream and just let everything go.

At two forty-five we were at the courthouse and seated. By three o'clock the courtroom was full and the judge was just coming to take his seat at the front of the courtroom. "You may be seated ladies and gentlemen." We took our seats and I grabbed Casey's and Bendi's hands as they were sitting next to me. "Has the jury reached a verdict?" the judge asked. An older man stood. "We have your honor." he stated, holding a paper in his hands. Officer Voultri takes the paper from the man and hands it to the judge. "I would like to take a moment before I read the verdicts to thank our jury for their time." the judge said, looking to the jury members. He then turned his attention to Edward who stood along with his lawyer for the reading of the verdict. "Edward Anthony Masen Cullen. I have here your verdict however if you have anything to say prior to me reading this now would be your chance." the judge said. Edward turned to look at myself along with Case and Bendi. "This girls here are quite precious but very stupid. Especially Isabella." with that Edward attempted to jump at me. All that could be heard was him yelling how he was going to get me one day. Before I knew it Emmett and Charlie were in front of me, Case, and Bendi. "Mr. Cullen, I will have order in this courtroom!" The judge said loudly as officer Voultri held Edward toward the front of the courtroom. "Ms. Swan, Ms. Moss, Ms. Johnson and ladies and gentlemen of the court I do apologize for this incident. As for the verdict Mr. Cullen you are charged with breaking and entering as well as robbery of Newton's sporting goods, rson at the Swan residence, three counts of second degree assault with a deadly weapon, assault on a government official, as well as second degree murder. The jury finds you guilty on all charges. A sentencing hearing will be scheduled for next Thursday at nine A.M. Court dismissed." A sudden rush of relief filled me as I watched Edward being taken back. "We did it. We finally did it." Case said to Bendi and I as we all stood to have a group hug.

Later that night Emmett and I were curled up on the couch watching a movie. Casey and Bendi left and I promised them I would be at the sentencing and would let them know how that went. "How do you feel about today baby?" Emmett asked as the ending credits rolled across the screen. "I'm relieved that he won't be able to do anything like this again. But now it's Esme's trial coming up and no one has seen or heard from your ex-wife so what's to stop her from continuing on what Edward started with me? There's still so much going on." I said. "Well that's true about Esme and Rosalie but the biggest problem will no longer be a problem. And you as well as Case and Bendi were so brave through all of this. I just wanted to shield you from all of it." I sighed. Emmett got up to start clearing everything from our movie night. We went to bed and as Emmett's breathing evened out signaling that he had fallen asleep, it began to lule me to sleep as well.

It was a warm day for Forks. I was sitting at the desk doing some paperwork when the door opened. "How can I help you?" I asked as I went to stack the papers to the side. "You can help me by telling me that you are only mine." came a voice I never thought I'd hear again. I quickly looked up. "Edward!" I yelped looking around for an officer. Strangely the station was empty. "There's no one here to stop me this time Isabella. You are mine." Edward made a move toward me. I started screaming. "No one can hear you Bella." Edward said as he grabbed me by my hair and pulled me out of the station. There on the front steps of the building was a pile of bodies. "See what you made me do. I truly liked my father and sister but they kept getting in the way. And your father and that idiot boyfriend of yours. They weren't going to stop me from getting to you." as he said this the bodies tumbled and I could see Emmett, Charlie, Carlisle, Alice, and even Mike Newton and his parents. "Emmett! Please! Emmett!" I screamed as Edward pulled me away. "Bella, Bella, Bella."

I sat straight up in bed with Emmett looking concerned. "Bella it was just a dream you're okay." Emmett said, pulling me into his chest. "Was it the same dream?" Emmett asked and I nodded. "Do you want to talk about it?" he asked and I shook my head. "You're safe baby. He won't get to you." he said as we laid back in bed. I glanced at the clock with blurry eyes. It was only three in the morning. I snuggled back into Emmett and tried to calm myself. He was right. Edward was gone. It'd been a month since Edward's sentencing and he was put away for life without the chance of parole. But ever since the night of the trial I've had the same dream over and over again every night. Emmett and Charlie suggested that I see a therapist but I just couldn't bring myself to talk to anyone about this. I was still scared that Edward would find a way to still get to me.

After an hour Emmett was asleep once again and I was wide awake just like most nights. I slipped from the bed and walked to our kitchen. Shane's head popped up when he saw me. I walked over to the coffee maker and decided to make a fresh pot because I doubt I'll be going back to sleep anytime soon. Shane followed me and once I sat at the kitchen table he laid beside me. Shane had become even more protective since all of this started and I was thankful as was Emmett.

All too soon it was seven in the morning and I started making breakfast for Emmett and I before we headed to work. This had become the normal routine. I was never left at home alone either, if Emmett and Charlie were working nights Alice was here with me all night. "Something smells amazing." Emmett said coming into the kitchen in his uniform. I smiled a very tired smile. "You weren't in bed when I woke up." he commented as he wrapped his arms around my waist. "I couldn't sleep after the nightmare. Here sit I'll make your coffee and breakfast is almost done." I said pushing him to the table. I set his favorite mug in front of him after I added the coffee and sugar for him. I placed a plate of eggs, sausage, and a biscuit in front of him before going to the fridge and pulling out the apple butter. I sat with my own plate and ate with him making small conversation about the visit from his family in a couple of weeks.

After breakfast Emmett cleaned up the kitchen while I got ready to head to work with him. This had also become the new thing. I would go to work and do my schoolwork when I had down time. Once I was dressed I grabbed my work bag as well as my school backpack and headed to the living room. Emmett stood there waiting for me. We climbed into the jeep, Emmett had already taken the doors and top off seeing as it was a rare sunny and warm day, Emmett started down the drive headed for the police station. We rode and sang along to the radio like we've done since our first date. It helped ease the stress of life.

When we arrived at the station Emmett quickly jumped out and came around to help me out. "Charlie isn't here yet." I noted as we made our way inside. I smiled at Bree, the night receptionist. "Everything is all caught up Bella. You should be good for the day. I'll see you tonight." she said as she packed her things and walked out the door. Emmett headed to his desk to start his day as I settled into my desk. I sent Charlie a quick text to see where he was at before signing into the computer to start my day.

An hour had passed and Charlie still hadn't shown up for work. I decided to see if Emmett had heard anything from him. "Hey Em have you heard from Charlie? He still hasn't gotten here and he hasn't answered any of my texts." I said coming up to Emmett and Aro talking. "I haven't, have you tried calling him or Sue?" Em asked and I could tell he was a little worried as was Aro. I pulled my cell out and quickly dialed his number. "It went straight to voicemail." I said hanging up and trying Sue. When her phone also went to voicemail I started to get scared. "Can you keep trying them? I'm going to try Leah or Seth or hell Billy or Quil senor." I said starting to call Leah. No answer. Calling Seth had the same result. I called Billy Black. "Bells is everything okay?" Billy answered on the second ring. "Have you heard from my dad? He hasn't shown up to work and he's not answering his phone. I tried Sue, Seth, and even Leah. No one is answering their phones" I said quickly, hoping that my godfather had heard something. "I haven't Bella. But if I do I'll get him to call you. I'll also call around the res and see if anyone's heard anything." Billy said and I sighed. "I'm sending Aro out to their house. I'll call if I hear anything you do the same please Billy this isn't like dad at all." I said before hanging up. I looked to Aro who was already getting his things together to leave. "Call if you find him please." I pleaded as Aro walked out the door. "Bella maybe he forgot to set his alarm and his phone died in the night." Emmett said, pulling me into him. "No that's not like him at all." I said as I felt tears starting to drain from my eyes.

Thirty minutes had passed when Aro finally radioed in. "Bella you and Emmett need to get down here. I've already called and Bree is on her way back to cover you." Aro's voice came loud over the base radio at my desk. By the time he was finished I was racing toward the extra patrol car with Emmett hot on my heels. Emmett flipped the lights on and sounded the siren as he took off toward the reservation. "Em what happened I can't lose my dad. I've already lost so much I can't lose him." I started to cry. My body was shaking and the road was blurry as Emmett pushed the car faster. "It'll be okay Bella. Call Billy to see if he and the elder's will meet us there" he said, never taking his eyes off the road. I pulled my phone out and shakely called Billy. "Bells did you find him?" Billy asked and I started shaking even more. "No. Can you meet me at Sue's? Aro called and said we need to get down there quickly. And can you possibly call the elder's to meet there as well?" I said and I heard him yell from Quill Sr. "We'll be there soon Bella." the line went dead.

I clutched my phone in my hands as we took the last turn that would lead us onto the reservation. I saw many heads turn toward the car in confusion. Typically Forks PD doesn't enter the Quileute reservation unless called to by the elder's of the tribe. We pulled behind old Quil's truck as we made our way toward Sue's house. I couldn't help but feel the dread deep in my soul as we made the final turn onto the street that the house sat on.

When we pulled in I saw Aro outside talking with some of the elders. I quickly jumped out and ran up to him. "What's happened?" I asked. He hung his head. I could hear more sirens heading toward us. "I'm sorry Bella." was all he said. I pushed past him and into the house. Inside I saw five bodies on the floor of the living room. Charlie, Sue, Leah, Seth, and last but not least Esme. There was blood pooled around each lifeless body. "No. No no no no!" I screamed falling to my knees next to my father. It was as if the world had stopped turning. I could hear everyone that was there but everything was moving in slow motion. Emmett pulling me away was slow. Watching the corner take the bodies was slow. Emmett was talking with the elders of the tribe and all I could do was hold onto him. I couldn't talk. I couldn't move if I wanted to. I was there in body but my mind was a million miles away. I was truly alone in the world now. I was the last Swan alive.

A/N: So that is it for this story. I will continue on with this however that will be a new story in it's self. I'm going away from telling my diary and the last couple of chapter's have done so in small ways but the next will have very little to do with events in my life.
