This is my first Sherlock fanfic! I own nothing!

Please review, I do answer reviews!

So, in Sir Arthur Doyle's Sherlock Holmes, Sherlock and Mycroft have an older brother named Sherrinford Holmes. It is said that he'll appear in Season 4. Since I don't really know his character, I am going to be making up some stuff. It is said that he is the smartest of the Holmes brothers. So I'll do that.

This will be more than one chapter. Please tell me if I'm getting any of the characters wrong. As I said, first Sherlock fic.

Why's he here? Mycroft looked out the window beside his deck and narrowed his eyes. He needed to do something.

So he took his umbrella and stepped into a car on the other side of the building.

"Where will it be today, sir?" the chauffer asked. Anthea was sitting in the back seat.

"Somewhere where no one can find us."

LINE BREAK

"Thank you," Mycroft stepped out of the automobile after it stopped in front of an abandoned warehouse. Anthea made no move to get out, as she was staring at her Blackberry's screen.

"Anybody you want me to, ah, get?" the driver was highly aware that whenever Mycroft wanted to go somewhere like this, he usually wanted him to kidnap someone.

"I actually have a list of people." the Holmes brother handed him a list.

The driver chuckled. "As long as you don't expect me to get them all at once." he drove away.

Mycroft smiled to himself. He looked at a copy of the list, searching for errors.

Little Brother Dearest

John Watson

Mary Watson

Molly Hooper

Greg Lestrade

Sally Donovan

Philip Anderson

The elder Holmes brother rubbed his finger on the top line, smiling to himself.

LINE BREAK

The chauffer stopped on Baker Street before picking up his phone.

"Look outside, Mr. Holmes." the driver could see Sherlock move a curtain at 221b with an annoyed expression on his face.

"No,"

"Get in the car, Mr. Holmes, or we'll force you. Where is John? You wouldn't know if anything...happened to him, would you? Get in the car."

It appears that the driver knew how to get the youngest Holmes brother in the car. Sherlock was out of the house rather quickly and into the car.

Many miles later they stopped at the abandoned factory.

"What was that for?" Sherlock stepped out of the car.

"I shall inform you with everybody else." Mycroft smiled.

The younger Holmes brother scowled before marching up to his brother.

There were some barely noticeable scratch marks on his umbrella and some dust coating his trousers. On his hand there was a mark from a black pen, and a slightly panicked look in his eyes. The scratch marks suggest it was grabbed in a hurry. The dust suggests he stood up quickly. The mark suggests he was holding a black pen and dropped it in surprise. The panicked look is the reason.

"You left to come here quickly from your...office, I suppose that is what it is called, because someone or something startled and frightened you." Sherlock deduced. "What do you mean, others?"

"Unlike before, I am collecting many people to inform them all at once of an immediate danger."

Sherlock looked increasingly annoyed. "I was in the middle of an experiment."

"I can tell," Mycroft looked his brother up and down. He was wearing the exact same thing as when John had asked him to be his best man, only less...surprised.

LINE BREAK

"Now that everyone is here-" Mycroft was interrupted.

"Who are you, anyway?" Donovan glared at him. "Kidnapping is a criminal offense!"

"You can be arrested!" Anderson added.

"I am no one of importance right now." the elder Holmes brother grinned.

"Right," Sherlock stood up, talking in a sarcastic tone.

"Sherlock," John watched his friend, worried about what he'd do to his brother.

"What's the freak doing now?" Donovan scowled.

He marched up to his elder brother. "I could do worse, you know that, right?" and he took his umbrella.

"That's a criminal offense to, you freak!" the female yelled. "Even though he is technically a criminal, that's stealing!"

"Oh, please," Mycroft wrinkled his nose. "He does that all the time."

Sherlock looked at him pointedly.

"Well," the elder brother corrected. "He did do that for a while."

"So he has a criminal record we didn't know about." Anderson smirked.

"Freak," Donovan muttered again.

"Now, all of you have been gathered here for a reason." Mycroft continued, twitching and Donovan's and Anderson's comments.

"I'm not going to listen unless you tell us who you are." the female scowled.

"Some of you already know me well." he looked from Sherlock to John to Lestrade to Molly to Mary.

"But I don't." Donovan exclaimed.

"I already said that I was no one special. Anyway-"

"Name." Anderson demanded.

"Mycroft." he answered. "Don't recognize it? See? No one special.

"We might know who you are if you give a last name too." Donovan barraged him with sassy comments.

Sherlock shot him the look that easily said: You answer them and I'll flay you alive personally at 221b Baker Street and then experiment on your cadaver.

"Are you going to answer?" Anderson smirked. "If you don't, you could always be arrested."

"I have a small role in the British government. I am here to warn you that something is coming back." Mycroft answered.

"Please not Moriarty. Please not Moriarty. Please not Moriarty." John was whispering this under his breath.

"It is not Moriarty," the elder Holmes brother answered.

"Last name." Donovan deadpanned.

Sherlock took out a pen and a piece of paper and started scribbling furiously.

"What are you writing?" Mycroft took the piece of paper it was already almost full.

"What does it say?" John really didn't want to know.

"What I Would Do If Mycroft Answers: flay him alive, experiment on his body, never tell anyone what happened to him, boil his blood, break every bone in his body," Mycroft scowled. "I'm hurt, Sherlock, really hurt."

"You aren't acting surprised. Does this mean the freak's done it before?" Donovan looked properly disgusted at the note. "He's a psychopath anyway."

"He's a high functioning sociopath." the elder Holmes brother frowned.

"Someone's been doing their research." Sherlock grinned.

Donovan and Anderson were really getting annoyed now.

Mycroft looked from one to the other. "Can I?"

"No."

"I will."

"No."

"Okay," the elder Holmes brother looked back at the two.

"Well?" Anderson proposed.

"Holmes."

"So, you're the freak's older brother?" Donovan looked surprised and annoyed.

"One of them."

"What do you mean, one of them?" Anderson's eye twitched.

"Hold on, even I didn't know this!" John was annoyed now too.

Everyone was annoyed at the 'one of them' comment.

"So Sherlock has an older brother he didn't tell me about." the army doctor glared at his friend.

"Correct." Mycroft stated. "He's my older brother too, and he's returning."

Tell me what you think! Also, please tell me if I'm doing anything wrong!
