I do not own Bleach or any other references that someone might see in this fic. What IS mine will probably been seen as someone else's anyway, and I'm not exactly hurt by that.

Chapter 7: Friendly Rivalry?
"She's pretty strong. She'd make a good companion. I think we'll take her." Stark said casually before putting her on his naked shoulder. All those who didn't know Stark stared at him, shocked that Halibel a renowned Vasto Lorde that most hollows knew never to cross because it would mean their end, was defeated in seconds. It didn't look like he had hit her that hard, it did look like he had move much and it was humiliating to think that after all that had happened when she fought Ulquiorra that she would be beaten so easily.
Not caring or perhaps not noticing their shock at his form, with his other arm Stark casually weaved raw reisatsu in his palm, blue and white energy that gathered together and compacted around his grip before it solidified and made the brown rags he had been wearing before. With a quick swing across his body the rags wrapped around his body just as they had been before, hiding his naked body.
Lilynette stared bored and sighed. "Come on Stark." Lilynette said being the one to break the silent as if it wasn't shocking. All the hollows looked to her as the blade she had created faded in a light-green glow and disappeared. She pointed a Stark with authority. "That's no way to treat a woman!" She said with the attitude of a mother.
Stark squinted at her before shrugging with Halibel on his shoulder. "She started it. Besides she's not hurt. Just asleep." Stark countered.
Lilynette crossed her arms and rolled her eyes at Stark's answer. "We'll be lucky if she doesn't wake in a cold sweat years after." Lilynette mumbled before noting Ulquiorra's approach.
"Stark. Why did you interfere?" Ulquiorra said as his lance dematerialised. "I was fighting her."
Stark shrugged. "One of you would have ended up dead and I can't just let strong hollow's that don't die in my presence disappear. Me and lilynette would get lonely." He answered without pause selfishly. "Plus, I'm certain that having people like you, White and Halibel here can suppress me and lilynette's reiatsu." He said in way that completely disregarded the wants of the hollows he and lilynette needed of themselves.
"We wouldn't have to if you controlled you reiatsu." Ulquiorra responded
"It is not that easy." Stark countered
"Yer, it is a hard life Stark." White muttered darkly.
"I know." Stark quickly agreed.
"I was being sarcastic." White snarled.
"I know." Stark said dully.
Appachi watched and listened, torn apart by what was happening. What was going on? Ulquiorra and Halibel were going to starting fighting again, both more than willing to kill each other. Halibel was convinced by Ulquiorra's reasoning and Ulquiorra speech was deceit, if a bit overbearing. But none the less, the two were going to fight again. They were equals.
But Stark had simply taken an interest, and there was absolutely nothing she could do to stop him. She was powerless to stop Ulquiorra and Halibel from fighting, so what did that mean compared to Stark. Halibel was going to be taken and she couldn't do anything. So shocked and torn apart on the inside over everything that happen since that damn red sun, she couldn't change anything.
No, she was apacchi. She wouldn't stand for it even if it was pointless.
"H-Ha-Halibel!" Apacchi shouted in anger yet hesitant and scared. "What do you think you're doing?!" She continued with panicked voice, glaring at Stark who just stared back. He hardly reacted or was intimated which triggered Apacchi.
"Cuerno Cero!" She screamed as a cero howled, charging on the tip of the horn coming from her forehead. She disappeared as she charged at him to gore him with her horn that held the cero.
BANG
She didn't reach him before Stark exerted a small force of reiatsu directly at her, smacking her hard enough to overpower her, dissipate the cuerno cero to nothing and blasting her body away like a rag doll. Stark raised his eyebrows yet having not moved a muscle. "You've got a lot of reiatsu. But if you stay around me long enough, you'll slowly burn on the outside and inside at the same time. You're not strong enough." He said crushing her will.
She groaned rolling in the sand, feeling her legs broken again, her body in pain and grimacing at the gap between her and these hollows. Behind her Mila-rose grimaced herself, tense and was preparing to attack too.
"If you're taking her, you'll have to take us!" Sun-Sun said interrupting the tension that Stark wasn't acknowledging, still staying behind the dune though and peering at everyone below. Mila-rose's eyes quickly looked to her.
"What do you mean Sun-Sun? They're the enemy!" Mila-rose said in anger making Sun-Sun roll her eyes.
"Mila-rose, relax. Everything's going to be ok." She said happily as she slithered over and down the sand dune to join her.
"Everything is going to be ok? Are you kidding me?" Mila-rose questioned not believing this confident snake mostly because she didn't trust these strangers. On the other hand though, deep in Mila-roses heart, she really didn't want Sun-Sun to be right.
Sun-sun nodded to Mila-rose as she slither past her moving towards the group keeping a stronger shroud of reiatsu around the surface of her body. She could sense Stark and Lilynette's reiatsu and was like a fire had surrounded her, trying to burn her away.
"This is all a misunderstanding on my friends and Lady Halibel's part. So can we please do this in a more human why?" She suggested calmly and a smiling, shine in her eyes. "Can you all please introduce yourselves?" She asked politely.
Everyone took a moment and relaxed hearing her words. She was convincing with her honesty and soft words making it clear that she wanted to talk.
"Lilynette Gingerback."
"Ulquiorra Cifer."
"Coyote Stark."
"My name is White."
Sun-Sun took a breath of pleasure in knowing that she could get what she wanted. "I'm Cyan Sun-Sun. The lioness is Mila-rose Franceska and the sweet deer is Emilou Apacchi." Sun-Sun said pointing at herself then her friends while making Apacchi glare at her from the sand.
"You're a bitch. And they will learn it." Apacchi groaned still laying in the ground in some pain but needing an outlet to her pain pinned it on the pink serpent.
"All of my love Apacchi." Sun-Sun mumbled before turning her attention back to the group of 4 trying to become 5. "So, what do you want? Why are you here?" Sun-Sun asked.
They all looked at each other, some unsure of where to start. But Ulquiorra didn't hesitate to answer. "We were trying to avoid those 6 hollows. We determined that it would unfair for the 4 of us to fight them and instead ignored them against our better judgement." Ulquiorra said making Sun-Sun nod. "Before that however, White here destroyed my home. Stark and Lilyette are so lonely and powerful that I couldn't stop them from following me." Ulquiorra continued making his comrades look at him. "You can't stop them from doing as they wish, as your master will learn when she awakens."
"I said I was sorry about your home. Let it go." White angerily responded glaring at Ulquiorra.
Lilynette's eyes twinkled. "Aweee, you just don't want to admit you like having us around." Lilynette said sweetly with a blush.
"I don't know." Stark said scratching his chin looking at the black sky. "He's got a point about the fact he has no real power over us." Stark pointed out, shrugging before looking at Lilynette who just responded with a shrug not sure how to feel about it.
Sun-Sun gulped and sweated knowing they were right. If they wanted to, they could them on a whim or do nothing on a whim. "Then why are you taking Halibel?" Sun-Sun asked wondering what Halibel had to do with them.
"Woah, woah now!" White said stopping the others from saying anything. "Stark and Lilynette are the ones who want Halibel. Ulquiorra just wants to kill her and I have about as much interest in her as the dirt under my feet." White stated.
"Yer right. If the dirt had boobs maybe." Lilynette mumbled not believing White in the slightest.
"Shut your hole Lilynette." White responded quickly looking back at the female hollows. "Personally, I am seeking powerful hollows to aid me in killing a prick that deserves to be tortured for the rest of his life. But to do this I need a force, strong enough to invade soul society." He said confirming his wish and making all the hollows take in the word he just said with little belief.
Hollows invading soul society was impossible. Sure hollows loved killing and eating shinigami flesh because of the high spiritual energy but that came with a risk. Fighting beings that train and learn new skills and abilities, and who can make their skills increase beyond the normal was foolish. The newer ones they could fight because they were inexperienced and fearful. But the experienced ones took the name death god efficiently.
"Are you for real?" Mila-rose said staring at him with disbelief. "Shinigami have 2 purposes in existing. Transporting the dead to soul society or hell, and hunting hollows. They exist to kill us. And you want revenge. Do you know how many hollows claim they will get revenge only be destroyed?" Mila-rose said not believing this guy.
"I have to agree with my friend. That seems like a foolish plan. Hollows may out number shinigami but the strongest of shinigami are worth at least a million newborns each. And on top of this hollows don't get along as it is." Sun-Sun pointed out.
"That is th-gah! Could someone try and help me please?" Apacchi pleaded in anger and pain still in shock as her body sunk a little into the sand, retaining some small amount of Stark's reiatsu on her being.
Resistance from them was what White was expecting, but he hadn't expected it from those he had been walking with. "Hey, I haven't agreed to anything. Don't turn into Stark and try to sell me of for whatever job you want." Lilynette cried with a pout before Stark turned to her.
"I don't know Lilynette. I like idea of meeting these stronger beings. We've never really met the reapers before other than running from them." Stark said continuing to scratch his chin.
"Alright it sounds exciting and I know that one time we encountered them was a mind-trip in itself, but I don't like it when you and others just decide what I want to do!" She cried again hating how everyone treated her child. If she could find a cure to her child-like appearance she would take it.
"I have to agree with Lilynette." Ulquiorra said stepping in, looking at White. "I refuse to do what you want just because you want it." He said not liking it.
"Ulquiorra we have already established that you hate not being the one on top. But what do you want Ulquiorra?" White pointed out. "Wondering around, sleeping casually and occasionally killing hollows who annoy you?" White continued pointing out the ulquiorra pointless.
"I haven't killed a single hollow since I woke up." Ulquiorra answered quickly. "And I've only fought two hollows since waking up."
"Two hollows? What are you talking about?" Mila-rose quickly interjected. "You fought the three of us, Ggio and Halibel not that long ago." She confirmed seeing Ulquiorra forget about there earlier confrontations.
Ulquiorra's eyes looked to Mila-rose. "I didn't count you three or Ggio as fights." He explained. "A real fight means there is risks. It may have been a fight to you, but to me...you were just annoyances." Ulquiorra finished angering the hollows he had beaten.
Mila-rose growled. "We destroyed your arm!"
Ulquiorra turned to her. "And you think that is an achievement?" He asked.
"Go to he-!"
Mila-rose didn't finished as a wave of black reiatsu blasted towards her, smashing the sand in front of her, throwing her into the air and tearing the sand apart. The eye's of all those watching, save Stark and Ulquiorra, widened have not expected the attack.
The lioness collapsed in the sand stunned and confused before being able to focus on the black feet standing front of her and looked up to an enraged, White staring at her. His glowing, yellows weren't present as she looked and could see the mask bending for a furious, face as black reiatsu flicker out of his eyes instead.
"Shut up!" White roared as he unleashed more dark, malicious reiatsu than what was necessary, as it was already smothering his armour like black flames, terrifying the lioness. "I was talking! Interrupt me again, and you opinion won't mean anything! Because you will be dead!" He said pointing one of the blades that his arm Mila-rose, putting her in her place. He turned away from her and pointed at Ulquiorra with his other arm. "Why are you here with us Ulquiorra? And don't pin it on her home being destroyed. You would have left use by now if so. Answer me now!?" White said.
The question wasn't unreasonable but the attitude and time of the question was strange. But no one questioned why, either because they didn't want to get in White's way or because they didn't care about the answer.
Conveniently, Ulquiorra had finally come to an answer. He had thought about it ever since joining the 3 weird hollows around him and had come to answer after fighting Halibel. What was the reason? "Curiosity." Ulquiorra answered only receiving a glare from White.
"Curiosity?" White snapped. "What's so fucking curious?" He asked becoming more furious with the answer than first thought. In White's mind though, the answer sounded too much like...too much like...Azien.
"You." Ulquiorra said nodded to White. "and them." He said looking at Stark and Lilynette. "And those others." He said as his eyes looked to Halibel on Stark's shoulder, to Apacchi in the sand, to Mila-rose and Sun-sun watching and listening, and even to the 3 watching from the sand wall and the 3 far away watching.
Abirama noticed Ulquiorra look at them. "Oh shit the emo one is looking at us." Abirama said next to Niggre. "You think they're talking about us?" He asked the building sized mammoth only getting a shrug.
"I am not emo." Ulquiorra said off-handily confusing those closest to him.
"I didn't say you were." White growled.
Ulquiorra pointed at Niggre and Abirama. "The bird did." He said as both Niggre and Abirama sweated and stared wide eyed that Ulquiorra was pointing at them.
That second White spiritual pressure awoke in a rumbling, thunder that distorted and burdened all that could not stand it. Like a weight had been dropped on them, those who couldn't resist jerked were they stood.
"Niggre! Bring the crab and the bird HERE NOW!" White ordered in shout, shaking the sand with a dark wind that blew from his body.
Hearing White Niggre grimanced. "Shit." Niggre grunted feeling the weight of White's power in his bones and blood. He looked at Abirama who looked back in an accusing look, as if he thought he was a traitor. "It is too late to run. I got Findorr, best we don't run." He grumbled as he wrapped his trunk around the giant crab as Abriama sweated in despair and confusion as Niggre complied with White's orders.
"Why shouldn't we run?" The 4-winged bird asked. "And why are you being so compliant?"
"We run and he'll definitely kill us. But I made a deal that could help us greatly." Niggre answered as he lifted the giant crab on to his back, still wrapped in trunk that stretched. "I know I'm not strong enough to fight him and you know it. We can't win with force." He grunted as he walked forward. Unable to deny Niggre, Abriama followed suit as he flew into the air to follow.
Curiously, Ulquiorra watched couldn't help but notice the mammoth was using mass shifting too with his trunk. Even though the crab wasn't nearly as big as the mammoth is was still an impressive show of mass shifting. The Mammoth with his trunk, Ggio with his tail, Sun-sun with her body and himself with his wings. They could all use mass shifting. It really was a common ability amongst hollows.
Curiosity wasn't on the 3 thorns thoughts though as the lion, the snake and the doe watched and wondered if the Vasto Lorde was going to kill Barragan's lackeys, or if there was another reason why he had called them.
Lilynette was just wondering how Ulquiorra heard Abirama say emo without ears.
"What is it White?" Niggre asked as he stopped within a far distance of White. He was willing to come over to the group but wasn't about to stand right next to him. Abirama landed next to him, listening and full of thought.
"The both of you will shut up." White ordered pointing at them. "Nothing will come out of your mouths. We had a deal Niggre, but I only need 1 elite guard alive. Sparing you is a generosity, not a given." He continued making it clear how much he cared about them, more so to the mammoth as White's eyes never left Niggre's.
Turning back to Ulquiorra, White pointed at him again. "Back to our talk, be specific about your curiosity." He told Ulquiorra.
Clearly threatening him but not affecting Ulquiorra, the green-eyed hollow answered wanting White and everyone to understand what he wanted. "Family..." He started looking at Stark and Lilynette. "Loyalty..." He continued looking at Abriama and Niggre. "Friendship..." He said looking at Appachi still lying in the dirt hurt. "and revenge." He finished looking to White. "Each of you have a something that drives you? Why? For the power to survive? For an escape from loneliness? For the satisfaction of hate? For a sense of purpose? Simple things with useless meaning in the grand scheme of things. I want to understand why, so watching and learning about you all is why I'm here." Ulquiorra answered.
"You're a fucking emo." White whispered in annoyance, feeling uneasy with the answer.
Ulquiorra stared at him. "I don't think any of you even know what they word means at this point." He said not entirely sure of what the insult was suppose to mean after hearing so my opinions of the word.
"Oh please you empty headed asshole." White grunted denying Ulquiorra response. "If you took any interest in anything, even you would eventually agree with the opinion that all of us have of you. And that is, that you are an emo. Most of us have been to the human world, most of us have fought Shinigami and most of us have had conversation with others for a greater period of time than you have had in your life. In terms of experience we all have you beat so don't go thinking you know shit about anything!" White roared more than prepared to prove this with the hundred memories of humans, pulses, hollows and shinigami in his head.
"I know enough." Ulquiorra answered very quickly. He was so quickly that it caught White off guard along with everyone else who couldn't believe how quick Ulquiorra had responded.
"Your ego is ridiculous!" White snapped causing his own reiastu to flare in blue energy fragments. Breathing heavily White took quick and heavy steps towards Ulquiorra who did nothing. "Despite admitting you know nothing, you still think you're better than me!" White roared as he continued to walk to Ulquiorra, gaining momentum. "If I hadn't destroyed you home, nothing would have happened to you!" He continued jumping into the air and landing in a massive thud in front of Ulquiorra who hadn't moved and wasn't fazed.
Leaning in close to Ulquiorra's face, gritting his teeth and growling at Ulquiorra angrily, White glared at white hollow. "Until I showed up, you were nothing." He whispered to his opposite.
"As I said to Halibel all that really matters is the fight to survive." Ulquiorra whispered back. "Existence isn't a choice and can't be blamed. And I am something that you're not strong enough to fight." Ulquiorra countered causing White's yellow eyes to widen and appear from the black reiatsu blocking them with anger.
...There were needle everywhere piercing his body, chains wrapped around his body completely. 'Try as you might, plan, train, seek help, and deceive me. It means nothing. Because I am something stronger than you.' Azien whispered to White as he brought a glowing red orb from his palm up to White's face. 'And that makes your life, mine...
BANG
'Fast! Very Fast!' Ulquiorra thought unable to react to White's kick. It was straight and strong, smashing into Ulquiorra gut before Ulquiorra knew what White was intending. Ulquiorra hadn't thought White would attack. Ulquiorra's entire body seemed to snap and fold on itself as he was a metal pipe that had been bent in half. The shell of his body cracked and echoed of him breaking the sound barrier blasting the sand around him into the air.
Violently, he smashed into the sands around him before stopping some distance from White who keep his out-stretched leg out indicating where Ulquiorra had been standing previously.
"What the hell?" Abriama said as the shockwave blasted around him, Niggre, and Findorr. "I thought they were on the same side." He continued as he held his wings in front of himself block a lot of the sand and residual reiastu waves.
"They are, but that Ulquiorra pissed him off." Niggre said doing his best not to be blown away. "He clearly can't see when someone is anger, or doesn't care. Either way them two fighting isn't our concern." He said thinking only of how the 2 killing each other would help them and the God-king. He's eyes looked away for just a second and spotted Ggio watching from the sand walls. "The others know too." Niggre said confident that they were aware of what was going on and how they should approach it.
"That's a bit much isn't it?" Mila-rose commented having not thought White would attack with such intent. "We say we're better than each other all the time, but we never try to kill each other like that."
"Maybe he wasn't." Sun-Sun answered. "Or maybe there is more to the conversation then we know. But them fighting is good for us." She whispered happily willing to let the 2 of them figure it out themselves.
"Oh shi—ackk my neck!" Apacchi shouted impressed but still lying in the dirt from Stark's earlier attack. The residual reiastu was messing with her recovery leaving her to lie on the ground.
From the sand, a distinct crack and snapping of bones and shell could be heard coming from Ulquiorra. As the dust settle, Ulquiorra stood up with his snapped and bent body that violently and cringe worthily snapped itself back together. His limbs and neck were fine but the spine and stomach had been ruined as it snapped its way back together.
"What is going on with his body? It shouldn't be healing so easily. What type of healing is it?" White muttered to himself becoming frustrated. Sure he was aware that many hollows had high-speed regeneration abilities but it did make him feel better about it. Under his mask White gave a frustrated and annoyed smile. "Say you're better than me will you?" White continued muttering to himself before pointing his head towards Ulquiorra.
A red glow built at his horns that everyone saw and recognised. Ulquiorra spied the glow and with one final snap putting his body back in place, he vanished going on the offensive. "Cero." White whispered but widened his eyes as the energy ruptured to nothing at his horns. "Why? What is—"
"Cielo Nocturno." (Night Sky)."
A dark wind crashed into White's side like a wall flighting into him, sending him flying and continuing through him as it didn't stop within the first seconds of the attack. It continued to blast and blow him away, eventually dragging him up into the air with large amount sand too. The waves of wind blinded, bided and tried to push everyone in different directions but failed as the wind's target was not them. On and on White was dragged into the sky, higher and higher. A constant pressure of wild wind restricted him from breaking free, before the wind became more wild, crossing paths of newly generated tunnels of wind that broke and collided in each other in the sky. Soon enough the winds crossing each other were frequent enough that identifying where White was, was becoming difficult.
Mila-rose watched fascinated seeing the familiar, twisted winds. "This is same technique he used on Halibel." She muttered seeing the sky cross and twist within and into itself dangerously, yet was so high in the air that all she could feel was the strong breeze of wind. Not the torrent of wild, crashing pressure that was overpowering an enemy she wouldn't stand a chance against. Within the sky, far away from the torrent that was battering and playing with White, Mila-rose could see Ulquiorra floating in the air. He was still as his black wings did all the work flowing through the air, thin and quick creating small waves of wind that twisted, crossed and expanded at a ridiculous rate as they left him toward White.
"It is like his wings are sewing and weaving the sky itself, leading it like it was an orchestra." Sun-Sun continued with Mila-rose's sentiment towards the impressive and frightening abilities Ulquiorra had.
From the crater he had been thrown into, the plant-hollow Charlottle had retaken to his human form and watched the sky seeing the same as the rest of them. "Ulquiorra Cifer, a Vasto Lorde with high calibre element controls over the wind. This has to be near Runuganga's and Battikaroa's elemental sand manipulation level." He muttered to himself thinking of the Guardians of White and Grey Sand.
"Charlottle, don't worry." Poww said next to the plant-human as the whales massive body shifted into a better position. "This hollow can command the sky as he likes, but it is still just the ceiling of our God-kings palace." The Messager said fully confident that his lord and God could defeat the foes currently fighting one another.
White couldn't stand these shadowy winds, battering and smashing and restricting him within its playground. He couldn't tell up from down, let alone where Ulquiorra was currently generating this rampaging cyclone from, or where the hell the other hollows were. If they had been caught in it he wouldn't have been able to tell. It was lasting to long as it was beginning to hurt now and he wouldn't just let this happen.
Growling animalisticaly his mask leaked dark reiastu, leaking from his mouth, from the sockets of his eyes, and from the masks edges. His bladed-arms did the same as they had done before, leaking this dark energy. His reiatsu wasn't always the natural blue that it took with almost any spiritual being, as it had been made very clear on several occasions. But he would pride himself in the fact that he could at least control it like a valve. And he had twisted that valve open immediately to escape this onslaught.
"..."Ulquiorra, Stark and Lilynette felt the valve release.
Darkest erupted from the storming, aggressive winds in sky, thick and heavy polluting and taking the strength and force of the winds. A muck of muddy darkness clogged and stuck itself to winds and sky. Quickly, Ulquiorra could feel his pull and push of the wind meet a heavy resistance to his actions. As powerful as his wind could become, it was still a gas trying to overpower a liquidified solid.
"Oscuras (Dark)!" White said holding his bladed-arms in the air as his eyes found Ulquiorra, free of the wild winds as more muddy darkness erupted from him into a muck wall of black behind him. Then he threw his hands forwards and the darkness behind him enveloped him like a landslide. It rushed mostly towards Ulquiorra but much of it still erupted towards the other who starred in shock, amazement and panic.
Ulquiorra wasted no time with the landslide flying to him, sliding off the sky. He backed off easily dodging the Osuras waves that collapsed on the space he had occupied, slamming into each other. Creating more waves from the slamming collapse, the Oscuras broke apart and rushed for Ulquiorra again chasing him. The calibre of reiastu was high and dense with malicious intent and a long reach that stretched long across the area, but it was slow and sluggish struggling to react and keep up as its own density slow it down. Ulquiorra could tell the moment it moved for him. It was the slowest attack he had come across so far but would be impossible to resist if it hit him.
Below though, the Oscuras dripped and dropped pieces of itself across the other hollows. "Come on!" Niggre shouted in annoyance as a large, black, murky droplet of White's Oscuras fell towards him making him jump backward on his 4 legs still holding Findorr to avoid it. It splashed heavily on the ground, thick and emitting a powerful energy from it. He wasn't risking anything with his strange reiastu.
The same thought came over Sun-Sun. "Look out!" Sun-sun said as the same happened to her and Mila-rose forcing them to move out of its' way as it splashed across the ground, very slowly and almost not sinking into the sand. Despite its' muddy texture, it still had the raising flow of flames emitting from its surface making all the more threatening.
"Hmm..." Stark hummed to himself as the thick, large drop of reiastu rushed towards him. Instead of moving he breathed out and jerked his neck in the direction of the reiastu causing it to explode into rain that fell around him, but remained outside of a very clear circle that was Stark's Spiritual pressure. It was no threat to him.
"Oh no! Hey, someone help!" Apacchi said shouted at the same time as the rest of them as a massive droplet rushed to her. Still unable to move because of Stark's earlier Spiritual pressure attack, she poorly tried to crawl out of the splash zone. It continued to rush to her, and yet no one came. "Hey, Hel—ackk!" She cried out in pain again having pushed herself too far and fallen on her face, right before the droplet crashed into the ground.
Apacchi breathed heavily having just gotten out of the way of the droplet as she stared at the muck that had fallen only metres from her. Her eyes glared murderously and betrayed. "...HEY! WHAT THE HELL!?" She shouted as went back to lying on the ground looking in the directions of her friends.
"What? You're fine." Sun-sun said smugly with an innocent gleam in her eyes. "We knew you'd be fine." She continued pointing to herself and Mila-rose with her tail as lioness hadn't taken her eyes of the sky watching for more droplets.
"One of you could have helped! Any of you assholes could have helped!" She said looking around at everyone who had completely focused on themselves and nothing else. In the distance away from them the Osuras erupted up chasing Ulquiorra who easily out flew it.
Curious to the muddy, on-fire, darkness, Lilynette approached one of the puddles kneeing to take a closer look. "Hey Stark, isn't this the stuff that rained down on us in the form of cyclones?" She said she sniffing it and looked at her hand, then her finger with a thought.
"Lilynette. No." Stark said shaking his head watching her looking at her finger, then looking at the puddle of darkness. With a sheepish grin, she slowly reached out. "Nooo. Lilynette. Don't touch the dark, muddy, fire." He continued as she innocently retracted her hand back to her chest. Right before she slowly reached back towards the puddle with her other hand. "Lily-nette. Don't! Touch! No! Go stand over there!" Stark continued lecturing with the girl who responded with a pout and slowly nodded.
Abirama watched astonished at how casually these 2 were treating the situation. White and Ulquiorra were trying to murder each other and could end up destroying them by accident through it. But these 2, all they cared about was entertaining their own curiosity.
Lilynette grinned again remaining kneeing and slowly reached for the darkness again.
"No, Lilynette." Stark said getting annoyed with her antics. With a daring grin she dipped her finger in the darkness. The other hollows gasped surprised she was willing to touch that stuff. Stark sighed. "Fine. You ok?" He asked looking at the girl who was entertained while mixing the black muck in between her fingers. Staring at it she got another idea before her eyes moved to Stark. Slowly she brought the darkness to her mouth.
Stark frowned. "No. Don't. Lilynette. Don't eat it." He said shaking his head as she stopped, nodded but slowly reached her tongue towards her fingers. Greedily she quickly shoved her fingers in her throat and licked the darkness.
"Fine. You ok?" Stark asked.
"GAHH!" Lilynette gagged and vomited on the spot. All the other hollows freaked and wondered what she thought was going to happen. It was literal darkness and she just shoved it down her throat like a treat. They all came to same conclusion without saying a thing. She was dead on the spot. Poisoned or corrupted or burned or something that was going to lead to her with her face in the sand and the light in her eyes gone.
Stark had another idea. "You idiot." Stark said having an idea of what had happened.
"GAH, I poked that dangly thing at the back of my throat. Did you know that made you vomit?" Lilynette questioned with a bit of vomit dripping down her chin looking at him. With a blank and almost betrayed look on her face she left the other hollows with their mouths open and sweating.
"She just made herself vomit? It wasn't the darkness?" Mila-rose mused to herself getting a baffled nodded from Sun-Sun.
"What'd the darkness taste like?" Stark said ignoring the baffled looks of all but his idiot other half.
"BURP!" Lilynette burped wiping away the vomit from her lips and chin. "The darkness? Like really fresh hollow meat. Like high quality too!" She said gesturing to Stark with a cheeky grin. "Although, why would ask that? Did you forget we can share our senses?" She asked Stark smiling.
"No. I didn't forget. I just like to remember that we're different people. Even if we can share senses, emotions and thought." Stark said lowly and so casually that no one really took in the information he was giving.
Curiously Abirama looked to the darkness with Lilynette's thought of the taste in mind. "Like hollow meat?" He whispered peering at it wondering what it could mean. What was this stuff that was bursting from the sky? What did White just do?
"Well, don't eat it again." Stark said with bored look before his eyes shifted to Mila-rose approaching him. "Yes?" He asked wondering what she wanted.
"What are you two?" She asked wanting to know and Sun-Sun observed behind her silently. "You have the body of a man. But bits of hollow mask around your neck. And she's the same. She's a girl under those cloths?" She said looking to Lilynette who stared back.
But being Lilynette she gave Mila-rose a slight grin. "Here. See for yourself." She said as Lilynette quickly pulled her rags up shocking Mila-rose and the hollows who weren't expecting her to do so.
BANG
"Little fool. I told you not to do that." Stark said with his fist in the back of Lilynette's head, which was buried under the sand as she gave a muffled groan.
"She's human." Mila-rose said confused with the image she had seen. The soft, small flesh under the rags was definitely human. But at the same time Mila-rose, all the hollows watching had seen the hole in her chest. The hollow hole straight through to the brown rags on her back. And the hollow mask on her face. "But you have a hollow hole? And mask." Mila-rose said questioningly confused with Lilynette's and Starks appearance.
"Yes and No." Stark said mysteriously to Mila-rose giving no information or clues as to what he and Lilynette were. He had no clue so could not answer. Pulse talking took thought which was tiring and troublesome to Stark. Explaining stuff wasn't too much work.
Sun-Sun remained quite feeling a cold, creeping sensation go up the pink scales on her tail making her shutter. Her previous thought about everything was gone now. Disregarding White and Ulquiorra's presence, she thought now, if they stayed with these two, everything would not be alright. The who or what never concerned her, Sun-Sun's mind was beyond such petty things. But the why and how? Those had longer effects and drew more attention than anything. Those types of things were harder to control and predict making it dangerous.
"Cero." Ulquiorra whispered in the distance as he fired a howling, green cero into the Oscuras breaking it apart and overpowering it. But only a portion was forced away in its wake as the rest swirled and twisted around the cero towards Ulquiorra. As soon as it ended the Oscuras reformed and went back to chasing the elusive, white bat.
Below Niggre peered at Lilynette and Stark thinking more about what and who they were. Were they Vasto Lordes? They had the shape and power but still looked even more human than anything he had ever seen. Even the parts that hollows never had. "You have human forms. Does this me-"
"AACCKCKCKKHHH! IT BURNS!"
Niggre turned away from strange creatures Stark and Lilynette along with everyone else, to look at the screams coming from Abirama. The giant bird had fallen on his back, thrashing around while one of his talons gripped the other's wrist in pain. One of the talon's claws was covered in the Oscuras reiastu, burning and smoking.
Niggre grimanced that Abirama had been dumb enough to copy what Lilynette did. "You fool." He grumbled.
"IT BURNS! AHH! ITS TIGHTENING!" Abirama shouted as he rolled on his side and smashed his claw into the sand and quickly dragged it across the surface. Trying to get the Oscuras off him. Rapidly doing so to no effect, the giant, red bird continued to shout and give a hollow's roar into the air. "IT'S CRUSHING MY CLAW! GET IT OFF!" He shouted as he tried again.
Sun-Sun squinted and shook her head with a dark and uncaring look. "Why would you do it? Stupid." She muttered lightly hardly heard by another.
"Oh so that's what happens." Stark said looking with his fist still in the back of Lilynette's head. As if on cue, the little girl's head popped out from the sand and looked at Abirama.
"HA! Can't get it off? Your reiastu isn't near strong enough to shield you from the effects of that stuff." She said before jumping into the air and waltzing over to Abirama. "Hey! Abirama!" She said getting his attention while he trembled and bit his lips in pain. "You're alright for a weakling. You want me get it off you?" She asked making Abirama jump to her.
"YES! DO IT!"
"Say me, Stark, Ulquiorra and White are better than you and your friends." She said slyly.
He hesitated at first as Niggre gave him a disapproving stared. "AHH! DAMN YOU!" He shouted before howling into the sky again in pain. Mila-rose, Appachi and Sun-Sun watched and were actually wondering if he would do it.
In the skies above, White's Oscuras had managed to surround Ulquiorra trying to in entrap him. White resurfaced half his body from the mucky, Oscuras that second, pointing his horns at him. "Die. Cero!" White shouted as the red energy built between his horns before once more dispersing. "No. Why isn't it working?" He growled as Ulquiorra took note and pointed a finger at White. "Cero." Ulquiorra whispered firing another green cero.
"You." White grimaced before quickly sinking back into the darkness of the Oscuras, disappearing as the cero blasted straight through it into the sand. Ulquiorra frowned before disappearing himself from the entrapment and re-appearing outside of the domed, tsunami of darkness.
"Missed again?" Ulquiorra noted to himself not sounding impressed but was in fact very cautious and very surprised with the Oscuras's capabilities against him.
Below White and Ulquiorra fight, Abirama gave in. "YOUR BETTER THAN ME AND MY FRIENDS!" Abirama shouted causing all the other elite guard glare at him in disgust and the 3 thorns of Halibel to smile in content.
"He said it." Charolottle said more in thought than anger. "You think this darkness is really that painful?" He asked Pow and Ggio who both just shrugged and returned to watching Ulquiorra and White trying to kill each other above.
Sun-Sun sneered seeing an opportunity. "He didn't say it right Lilynette." She said slyly herself getting Lilynette's attention as she slither closer. "He didn't say your names or his friend's name. Don't you think he should say it properly?" She questioned only making Lilynette shrug.
"Maybe. But I'm beginning to think that would be too difficult for him." She answered wondering for a second why the snake slithering closer to her. But she didn't care and looked back at Abriama. "Hey Abirama, I'll get rid of it but when we're done you have to say it properly. OK?" She confirmed seeing as she thought it would take too long to say. Abirama at this rate would scream and howl in pain while trying to do so. And that would just take the value of it away.
"AHH! FINE! HURRY!"
"Nice, now stand on your other leg and hold your claw out." She said as the red, bird obeyed and did so. "And you have to say please." She said quickly.
"RRAHHH! STOP SCREWING AROUND, DO IT!"
"Say please."
"PLEASE." Abriama said giving up quite quickly holding his claw out for Lilynette to do what she was going to get this black stuff off of him.
POP!
"Huh?" Niggre grunted with wide eyes.
"Hmm, that works too." Stark said having thought that would happen.
The 3 thorns stared surprised that THAT was how she going to do it. "How does it even fit?" Appachi said still on the ground and puzzled.
"...You?" Abirama said shocked. He couldn't feel any pain coming from his claw anymore. Only a sticky wetness.
"Bmnehmh nmw? (Better now?)". Lilynette garbled with a bland and content face and Abirama claw in her mouth while she sucked the darkness of it. How she managed to do so with the giant bird claw was impossible considering he was bigger than a bus, but she did. Stranger still was that the darkness that was further up Abirama finger originally was being sucked down towards Lilynette's mouth like vacuum. "Shhhm smmhmh. Hummh Hmmah mme mhwihm. (Stop staring. You're making it weird.)" She gargled as Abirama stared her in the eyes.
"I don't know what you said." He responded with an innocent shrug.
BITE!
"OOOWE! Stop! Why are you biting me?" Abirama said as he jumped in surprise not expecting her to bite or for her bite to hurt so much. Shaking his claw and talon's he tried to get her off to no effect as she held on with her teeth, being thrown about like a rag.
"MHMM MHH! MUHN NMW! (Bull, shit! You now!)" She said as she continued to suck the darkness of Abirama and bite him at the same time. In no time at all Abirama had jumped into the air flying, trying to force Lilynette of his finger.
"Stop you little shit! You're going to bite my finger off!" Abirama shouted into the air and Lilynette grinned evilly with a shine in her eyes like a smart idiot enjoying his pain, anger and misery wickedly. But then she stopped grab Abirama claws making Abirama stop think she had listened. Unfortunately, or fortunately, for him with far too much ease, she grabbed hold off his finger in the air and quickly threw him into the sand below shouting.
Above her the Oscuras had grown bigger and almost reached for Abirama and herself. Quickly she retreated from the great mass of darkness back to Stark and the rest of them. "Hey! White! What was that?!" She shouted into the sky.
Next to her Stark stared into the sky having sensed White's hostility and intention to attack Abirama and Lilynette when they got closer than they should have. Whether it was a conscious or unconscious thought he couldn't tell but never the less it was a concerning thought. White was becoming more frustrated and angered by Ulquiorra constantly dodging his attack. That and the fact that for whatever reason he couldn't fire a cero.
"Lilynette." Stark started pulling the young girls attention to him. "Don't go near White and Ulquiorra right now. You could get hurt." He said watching the two continue to try to kill each other. Although it was starting to get out of hand and one of them could actually die, Stark was confident he could interfere before anything happened.
"I could get hurt? Who do you think I am?" She lectured to her other half. A silent pulse came of Stark's body, enough to draw the attention of all the hollows, including both White and Ulquiorra who both looked for just second in Stark direction. Lilynette on the other hand felt a warmth-ness overcome her. An authority or statement thatshe never really saw from Stark.
The arrancar male looked down at her, a shine of sweat across his face and a wet slickness in his hair like he had been in a suna for hours made him look in control. "If you get hurt, I don't know what I'll do. I don't want to find out and they won't either." He whispered to her but heard by all. His presence seemed to stretch and reach them all, his words and intent clear.
"Like a bright flame's light. I can't resist his reiastu." Sun-Sun growled at the uselessness of resisting his power, feeling the pressure and power gap once more between those 2 and the rest of them. Her eyes looked to Halibel still unconscious on Stark's shoulder. She had to get Halibel away from that man, his reiastu was probably hurting her and he wouldn't be aware of it until it was too late. No control, no purpose and unpredictable. He was more dangerous Barragan...maybe even the Shinigami.
Lilynette lightly blushed a light-pink. "Fine. Stark. Thanks." She muttered lowly trying to avoid eye contact with her other half. His reiastu was always warm to her while a burning presence to everyone else. If he could just take things seriously and actually try to control his power he...then everyone else would see what she saw.
Despite it though, she suddenly felt a cold breeze move by her. They all felt it and it was coming from the Oscuras. Soon that cold breeze became a wet mist that clouded the air. Soon followed by black, heavy clouds forming high in the sky. There was no thunder or lightning though. But as most clouds do, it begun to rain right there and then. Despite the clouds, it wasn't dark around them. With the tinted rain a dim light bounce through and around them off all the millions of drops.
"This again?" Lilynette said having experienced this before after the cyclones that had attacked her and Stark. Although it wasn't nearly as aggressive as the last storm that moved over her.
"What is this?" Poww said as he stared up with massive eyes, the wet falling on him. No rain fell in the Hueco Mundo. This was unnatural. Not a normal power. Not impossible, but very improbable. The Oscuras was still present, stuck in the air and becoming even muddier as it slipped and splat off the sky, but ultimately it was unaffected by the rain. Not only that but the size of the oscuras was enough to collect water and soon, at least a dozen waterfalls begun to rush of the edges. It was an ominous, dark sight.
"This feels like reiatsu." Sun-Sun noted looking at the water drops building on her pink, scaled tail. "But it is not malicious like the darkness." She continued feeling no pain from the water. It had been a long time since she had seen water or even felt it. Honestly it was refreshing as the rain made her scales shine.
"Is this White's doing?" Niggre pondered before looking and feeling his wet green, fur. "Tsk, this sucks. I hate getting my fur wet." He grumbled as he felt himself become heavier. He had gone to the human before and had rain fall on him. His fur absorbed it to well and made him heavy and soaked to the core. Under his heavy feet the sand became muddy, thick and dark worming onto his skin and fur.
"Todo Pero La Lluvia." (Everything but the rain.)" White said glaring with his upper body having emerged from the thick, oscuras that looked like a very, small island stuck in the sky. The darkness was under White and collecting rain. Before long the water overflowed and rushed to the ground in the form of waterfalls. White glared above at Ulquiorra who stared back down. The rain was light but they were both drenched and shining.
"I hate the rain. So dark and full of despair. Despair of the unknown. Despair of the gap the rain shows, making it so evident between me and the heavens. I hate this particular ability of mine." White said remembering when he first created the rain. Being trapped under the very water he created.
"Cero." Ulquiorra whispered not caring in the slightest to White words as the cero blasted and exploded on contact with the oscuras, where White was. All these powers may have been amazing to the hollows below but meant nothing to Ulquiorra if that they didn't hurt him.
"At least it grants me this ability." White growled standing behind a wide eyed Ulquiorra.
Bewildered, Ulquiorra made his move to attack but was far too late as White swing one of this blades down on him. He wings took most of the damage, being torn and ripped to shreds, but within the instant Ulquiorra crash in a massive explosion of water, that had built on the surface of the Oscuras muck.
White was too fast. Faster than Ulquiorra thought he could achieve. A lot faster than his Oscuras technique. He didn't see him and didn't react until after he had finished speaking. He needed to watch and see White. See his speed himself.
But Ulquiorra was hardly in a position to fight or move. He was surrounded with Oscuras darkness, sticking and shifting around the surface of his armour. He could already feel the constriction and tightening of the darkness. The toxicating, heavy and contracting force of it was like rubber. If he moved it would tighten further, if he didn't it would continue to tighten anyway.
White could sense it but could sense something else. Ulquiorra wasn't panicked or worried. Despite being caught and trapped the prick wasn't fazed. "You'll give up. I'm the better. I have plans. I see the peace the world needs. I see vengeance being mine. And a throne for me." White growled lowly practically unheard. "You? You're just a random hollow from nowhere. No vision. No goals. No connection. Not even a friend. What do you have that makes you so much better?" White growled more to himself than to Ulquiorra.
Ulquiorra wasn't worried. Because he had an extreme stupid, and very ironic, fix to get out of the Oscuras.
"Luz. (Light)"
BANG
The sickeningly, green light that was the signature of Ulquiorra's reiatsu exploded in a bright and burning force from the inside of the Oscuras and completely stripped and eroded the dark reiastu from Ulquiorra's armour. The oscuras erupted in every direction forced away by the Luz causing the hollows below to scream and cursed at the dangerous sludge falling towards them again. Before the haunting light disappeared, with a great swing of his wings, Ulquiorra dashed away from the Oscuras in a blur up into the sky stopping in front of White who glared murderously at Ulquiorra.
"How-" White questioned before the answer become clear. His glared died down before he chuckled behind his mask. Looking and examining Ulquiorra's body was automatic being that Ulquiorra was infront of him. So he could see the clear, black hole on the right side of his stomach, bleeding, burnt black and with shattered white armour around the hole's edge. But that wasn't all. Ulquiorra's right arm had been destroyed to the nub just as it had against the girls. "An explosion from your hand? You sacrificed your body to escape? But your body is more durable than I thought being able to take it." White sneered.
"I am here." Ulquiorra answered to White who faltered that Ulquiorra answered his question. "Being here is all it take to be better than you." Ulquiorra continued angering White. "Now, show me how fast you are." Ulquiorra finished as he brought his wing out to defend against White's attack.
White in his annoyance didn't hesitate to please Ulquiorra's curiosity. Ulquiorra wanted speed? He had no clue who White was. And that speed was his weight in battle. He disappeared and ended up everywhere before Ulquiorra was ready. Up, down, behind, in front, below, left, right, diagonal, close, distance, away, moving, rushing, dashing, gliding, skating, flying, shifting, blurring, re-appearing. DOUBLING! TRIPLING? OVERLAPPING?! MORE?! Whatever speed Ulquiorra had faced against Halibel was a sad, pathetic joke right now as Ulquiorra was surrounded by Whites practically teleporting around him. A speed that shouldn't be tracked by human eyes, but was moving so fast that it would trick the eye into believing that something was there.
"Cielo Nocturno!" Ulquiorra growled as his wings shifted the air around him into heavy torrents of wind and blades that carried the rain the White had created with it. A storm appeared around Ulquiorra, thrashing and whipping at White's images that gracefully bounced and slipped by the streams of wind like nothing.
"I got speed that makes your breaking the sound barrier look weak." One of the White sneered as a whip of wind stretched for him only for the black, hollow to shift, turning easily while glare confidently as he watched the wind miss him.
"Control the air around you, around me. It doesn't matter." Another continued for White, appearing a distance behind and below Ulquiorra. A twister plummeted from above him nowhere near Ulquiorra but forming by his will none the less. With a confident stride, White dodged again barely moving but shifting his body smoothly out of its way never the less.
"You can't beat me." White finished as he charged from Ulquiorra left side bring his blade forward to strike before hesitantly shifting under a black, thin whip. "Uh?" White coughed surprised an attack had gotten so close to him before said whipped edges of wind and wings appeared like lines drawn across Ulquiorra's surface. No, they were merely floating in front of the space between the two of them. Slowly by White perception, Ulquiorra's head had turned slightly enough to reveal the large, green, slitted eyes of Ulquiorra gazing at White.
'He, can see me?' White thought in his mind examining Ulquiorra body language. It was clear Ulquiorra was moving his body to face White and his wings had become thinner and sharper, taking the form of a scribbled line moving fast enough to appear like many lines. All to defend the point of attack. Despite it all, White could see the after-image clones above him, surround Ulquiorra but Ulquiorra didn't focus on them. There was only one moving after all.
"Dios Vista. (God's View)." Ulquiorra whispered as the world around him slowed. The rain became clear first, slowing down enough to practically stop. Next was the wind as it lines and streams became clearer and clearer, shifting and chasing the many images of White. He still couldn't keep up with White's speed as multiple copies remained around him. He needed to slow his perception slower. Time stretched for Ulquiorra as seconds felt like minutes and longer. White hadn't attacked yet dodging and moving around and away. White stood confidently, dodging easily and appearing unfazed by Ulquiorra's attacks.
He needed it slower, even if it made him appear slower to himself. He needed to track White and form a defence somehow. Soon enough the light of copies disappeared and lead straight to White's position. White was on his left, he needed to turn and move his wings. His wings were one of his fastest weapon. They needed to strike and defend.
'He can see me. But his body can't react fast enough to my movements.' White realised as the whip of black, wings rushed him followed by raging winds. Just barely able to see Ulquiorra's arm, White noted that it was already healing with his fresh taking the form of a black mould growing. He had so much time, he could retreat but he needed to make statement right now.
White stopped and brought his bladed-arms up.
SLASHSLASHSLASHSLASHSLASHSLAH
Ulquiorra could see it. What appeared like fluid motion to Ulquiorra appear like invisible, blurs of black that slashed, hacked and battered Ulquiorra's wings and winds way, no matter the number, angle or force. White could react, move, block and batter all of Ulquiorra's actions, again like it were nothing. White's threat level in Ulquiorra's mind was jumping more and more. White could be stronger than Habilel, if not for one thing that Ulquiorra had to confirm.
Ulquiorra eye twitched and in his remaining hand his green lance manifested faster than any of his movements. So fast that White couldn't believe it had already formed before he finished battering the other attacks of wings and wind. With a slow effort, Ulquiorra threw the lance at White who watched as invisible barriers broke slowly and long after the lance had gone through. It was actually moving fast enough to catch him. But White worried not. The lance was still too slow. With a confident gleam in his eyes he swung his blade up and sharply deflected the lance leaving it spinning for that fraction.
"Luz." Ulquiorra whispered as the lance glowed an intense and burning bright green. White's yellow eyes widened as the light of the explosion had already covered him before he could move. The burning explosion shook and eroded White armour and he disappear from Ulquiorra view covered in the light.
"Bastard." White whispered in a rage appearing in front of Ulquiorra, scorched and smoked from the explosion but overall fine enough to bring one of his bladed-arms back and slash across from a very awkward angle. The defences were easy to get by. White had had enough toying around.
SLAM!
The cut wasn't clean nor straight as it broke against its target like stone to stone. But the weakness of the target was clear and had been taken advantage of.
Stark's eye twitched below and he walked over to Lilynette. He placed Halibel down on the wet sand and placed his hand on Lilynette's head making the girl look at him with concern.
"Stark?" She questioned quite sure of what he was doing. But did he really need it?
"Don't worry. I'm just being certain." Stark said as a glow reiastu flicker in between the 2. If anyone was able to focus on them, they would have noticed the flow of energy moving from Lilynette to Stark. "Look after her." Stark said turning back to the Ulquiorra and White's efforts.
"Ah.." Ulquiorra gasped having not expected such as response or that he would be 1 eye less. His mask had taken the brunt of the slamming slash but as his eyes were his weakest link, the blade's edge sought out the path of less resistance. A destroy, black mould was all that was left of Ulquiorra's left eye, bleeding and ruined in the socket.
The impact forced Ulquiorra complete off balance as he stumble through the air taking poor and disorientated steps. It took a good second to long for Ulquiorra to get his bearings and by then it was too late. A pair of scissors was across his neck, ready to snap shut.
"I will not have you freely acting." White said in distrust standing very close to Ulquiorra to position his bladed-arms across Ulquiorra's neck. "Your attitude disgusts me but your strong enough to be useful to me. So give up. Submit to me. Pledge yourself to me for them all to hear. " White said obviously pissed and in no mood for jokes. And despite how much Ulquiorra reminded him of Aizen, he needed someone as strong as Ulquiorra's on his side.
With his eye bleeding and smashed and two blades crossed against his throat Ulquiorra knew he was beat. But he would never submit to force. Particularly from one who hates him because of his choices. Instead he wouldn't go down without leaving some damage.
Ulquiorra made a deadly and defiant glare with his remaining eye, forcing White attention to it. Their eye contact was established and they stared at one another angrily. "When you're so close to someone..." Ulquiorra started making White frowned before his eye yellow exploded with pain. "...you shouldn't focus on their face." Ulquiorra noted finally as his hand had stretched across into the upper chest area of White, above his fellow hollow's hollow hole. Funny enough, it was where Ulquiorra's hollow hole was.
White cringed in pain as his armour cracked causing a blue energy to emit and glow from the penetration cracks. The impact didn't end with the strike piercing White's upper throat though as White's back cracked from the force behind Ulquiorra's attack. "Gah?" White coughed as he started to bleed from the glowing cracks and mouth before he roared in rage.
"ARRRHHH!" He roared spitting blood and not sounding at all like the howl of a hollow but instead of an enraged demon. He's arms clenched White went to cross them and behead Ulquiorra.
"Ok, that is enough of that." Stark said in bored tone standing behind Ulquiorra, his hand firmly grasping White's bladed-arms which struggled to the move and do at their master demanded. Despite his bored look, Stark wasn't relaxed at all. His reiastu was brimming and tempered, ever present in the space that he occupied, and that space of those within his space. Ulquiorra could feel he was standing in Starks space and so could White. They were in his reach and territory as his spiritual energy was thick and vaporising the water to steam with just his mere presence.
Effortlessly, Stark lifted White up into the air breaking White's strength to resist, lifting the scissors over Ulquiorra head. "You two need to be separated." Stark continued soaked from the hair to his feet because of the rain.
"Yo—AHH!" White went to yell and resist before Stark tossed him into the sand below with a massive throw making him crash into, erupt and shake the wet sand's surface.
With a bored look, Stark turned to Ulquiorra and within a moment, unseen by Ulquiorra, grasped him in the palm of his hand by Ulquiorra's mask and with what looked like little effort, pushed him by his face in the opposite direction of White into the wet sand, crashing the same as White in stip stream.
In White's direction the rain was blow up back to the sky and the mud was blow of the desert. "Slob! Don't underestimate me!" White roared with wet sand stuck to his armour that quickly dispersed from White's erupting spiritual pressure, looking like black and white flares of energy. He pointed his bladed-arms focusing on his new target. "Osuras!" White roared at the island muck of darkness rushed towards Stark.
Stark turned to the landslide wall of shifting darkness, raised his hand in its direction and just before it reached him he acted. "Descorrer." He whispered snapping his fingers and causing a massive rift between time and space to open in the form of sliding floors boards, making it appear like the sky was ripping symmetrically. It did not stop opening for that a good moment ripping longer, higher and lower as the Oscuras entered in a landslide down its throat being completely swallowed by the Descorrer.
"A rift?" White growled having not expected it before trying to pull back the Oscuras from the all too familiar, flickering pitch that was the Garganta dimension. It may have been a rift between dimensions but there was no vacuum to suck in the Oscuras. More than likely Stark could control it to a point that the automatic vacuum of a rift didn't trigger.
But it mattered not. "No." Stark whispered as he snapped his fingers again the rift snapped shut, slicing the Oscuras mass that had attacked him in half. White grimaced before flinching as Stark vanished from his sight before he realised it.
"This stuff is getting annoying." Stark said aloud appearing right within reach of the point in which the Oscuras had been generated. A grand wall of shifting, malicious darkness that towered over and ensnared it prey, wrapped it in it black before swallowing it. Stark looked like a fly on a wall in comparison but he couldn't help but think it was just mirage in his shadow. White spied him quickly enough as Stark reach hand out to touch the mass of shifting darkness.
"Quemar (Burn)." Stark said as he lightly touched the surface of the Oscuras with the tips of two fingers. In that moment, the darkness exploded into eroded strips that vanished to nothing like the pop of a balloon, right in front of Stark by what everyone else thought was nothing. It was like it had just exploded itself uninfluenced by anything else. There was no inferno, no wildfire, no flames. They could hardly even feel a shift in heat or temperature but could feel a slight breeze overcome them. The Oscuras had turned to strips that blew directly into the air, blown into ashes that just as quickly turned to nothing along with the rest of the mass.
The rain and water that had built around it turned to steam and just as quickly vanished too. Leaving Stark standing there with his hand stretched out like he had tried to touch something so lightly but was not there. It took a good and whole second for the act to be complete, which surprised Stark.
"It-it burned. I saw it burn. But how? How? But there, there weren't flames. W-Were they invisible flames?" White stuttered finding it hard to believe one of his cards could be so easily destroyed. Invisible flames that stripped darkness from the world. It was a freighting thought made White hesitate for a second before it turned into an unyielding rage. "RAHH! Stop interfering!" White roared.
He was gone again, blurring faster than any of them could see and was upon Stark within a metre of him to attack. Instead facing him, Stark ignored him and turned away from the charging White.
"Ah?" White grasped as Stark grabbed him by his one of his ankles as the after-image that was charging Stark disappeared.
"I'll teach you like I teach Lilynette." Stark said simply as he grabbed White's other ankle and begun to spin in the air like White were a ragdoll to the point that the air begun to twist and follow Starks actions. "But so you know, I have no idea what I'm doing." Stark muttered as they continued to gain speed.
"Stop. Stop spinning me!" White pleaded getting dizzy and confused with which way was up and down. This alone was already worse than Ulquiorra's Cielo Nocturno as he felt completely helpless to Starks actions. How it was possible didn't make sense but Stark was far stronger than he let on if he could effortlessly overpower him of all hollows.
"Alright." Stark said he stopped and let go of White causing him to fly and crash into the sand a good kilometre away from the group of hollows watching, all the while screaming in terror. Whatever mental willpower White had against Ulquiorra was laughably vanished within those few seconds flying through the air. Because White knew that he asked for Stark to stop, which he did.
Stark frowned though as he spied Ulquiorra flying off after White below who left a long trench for the Vasto Lorde to follow. But Ulquiorra didn't get far as again Stark had Ulquiorra's face in his palm, staring boredly at him before Ulquiorra could react.
Stark cringed a very little as a bit of Ulquiorra blood bled onto his palm from Ulquiorra's wrecked, black, eye socket. "Ulquiorra. Where you going in a hurry?" Stark said getting bore with their fight. Sure he was taking it slightly serious but they weren't a threat. Pulse at this point everybody else was sweating and yelling about how strong these two were which was really getting annoying to Stark. "I beat Halibel with a punch. All I've done is thrown you two about. I could put you to sleep if I wanted."
"He started it." Ulquiorra responded as Stark continued to hold him by his mask. "I will finish it. Don't stop me." Ulquiorra said reached for Stark's hand with a newly grown hand. Stark took in it and marvelled at how quickly Ulquiorra could regenerate with hum.
But Ulquiorra was still missing an eye, while the remaining eye looked beyond Stark and at the same time Stark's pupils sought the corners of his eyes sensing it also.
"RAHH! Move it!" White roared charging through the sand on foot, sprinting as mud erupted in trails, growing larger and larger behind him. At that moment, Ulquiorra backhanded Stark hand on his mask and went to fly past him to attack the rushing White.
Stark shook his head and blurred on the spot although not vanishing from anyone's view. Turning in time with Ulquiorra's counter attack Stark grabbed Ulquiorra by his long, black hair escaping the back of his mask. Gripping his hair hard enough, Ulquiorra was pulled of his feet and wings in the air, surprised that he was thrown of balance. But also because of what he could see happening to White.
CRASH
White's mask meet the sand as Stark quickly appeared, grabbed him by the horn and pulled him downwards changing his direction, let go and disappeared again. With his own momentum, White rolled across the sand before stopping and landing on his chest. Wasting no time Stark was upon White and quickly placed his foot on White's back pinning him to the ground with his strength.
"Bastard! You-huh?" White said as looked up to see Stark throw Ulquiorra over his shoulder by Ulquiorra's hair, splattering across the mud before Stark quickly stepped his foot on Ulquiorra's chest pinning him to the mud as well. He was pinned by Stark, but Stark was holding Ulquiorra down? "You? Clones? The HELL are you?" White said shocked that Stark could do so.
The Stark standing on him shrugged looked down at him. "Not clones. Speed." Stark answered with a matter-a-fact tone.
"Speed? Impossible. After-images I can imagine. By you can't be into places at once through speed alone." White objected.
Ulquiorra stared up at the Stark standing over him and could spy the second Stark pinning White a distance away. "Dios Vista." Ulquiorra whispered at he slowed his perception to the extreme and saw something truly new. The space between the 2 Starks was bending and twisting as light struggled to penetrate clearly between them like shadows stemming from nothing. Despite itself, it was definitely transparent, phasing through whatever matter was between the two Starks. Invisible to all but Ulquiorra's Dios Vista. "You can occupy 2 spaces at once just by moving across both spaces and slightly slowing yourself at the two desired locations. Incredible." Ulquiorra said sounding very impressed to Stark who hadn't expected such praise.
Stark number 2, looking at White smiled. "Well I am. You can't prove it otherwise when I'm doing it." Stark said crossing his arms in his wet rags. "You're definitely fast White. So fast that I would struggle alone to match it as I am." He continued mysteriously. "As it is, this right now is the fastest I can move." He said.
The Stark number 1, pinning Ulquiorra smiled too. "That's probably the nicest thing you've said to me. Thanks. Although I'd say I'm impressed too. The amount of spiritual pressure I'm giving off would really hurt those hollows stand over there, while you two who are smothered in my energy and completely unaffected by it, I'd say you two are everything I and Lilynette need." Stark said before frowning at Ulquiorra.
Ulquiorra wasn't easy to read but Stark could tell he wasn't impressed by the words. "I stopped you against Halibel. I stopped you against White too." Stark pointed out being serious with Ulquiorra.
"Why?" Ulquiorra asked.
"Selfish reason." Stark answered. "You, White and Halibel provide a perfect insulation against my and Lilynette's spiritual pressure. And with this, you already know you can't overpower me. You and White could try together but would still fail as evidence." He said loud enough for White to hear making the black armoured hollow growl lowly.
"Ulquiorra's an impulsive jerk! He deserves a beating." White shouted not caring about what Stark wants. "You're stopping me for that reason?!" He asked shouting.
"And you're not impulsive?" Ulquiorra countered back to White, not moving at all from under Starks foot.
Whtie's reiastu flared. "What was that?!" White shouted only to cause Stark 1 and 2 to step harder on the two of them making them sink in the wet sand.
"Look, whatever reason you 2 have to kill each other, I don't care." The Stark's said crossing their arms. "In fact, despite all you two just did to one another, I'm sensing a friendly rivalry between you two." He said as carefree as ever. "Like a Yin-Yang type of thing."
"Rivalry?" Ulquiorra said confused as White simple gave a dirty glare at the idea.
"Yes." Stark started. "Two people trying to prove who is better by constantly fighting one another without killing each other." He explained.
"I can only prove that I am better by killing him." Ulquiorra said objecting him.
"Same here!" White shouted agreeing.
"That's what you said about Halibel." Stark said to Ulquiorra. "But when you were with Halibel you also said that the fight was all that mattered. Getting strong to fight and survive. With White and Halibel around you can fight, not kill each other, and learn from it to get better." Stark said as experience was good tool to getting stronger. At least he thought so. He had no proof since he was already really strong but Stark liked the way it sounded.
"White, you said you wanted to kill that Shinigami, what's his name? Adin, Izee?" Stark said trying to remember the details by drawing short straws instead.
"His name's-"
"Whatever it is, I don't really care." Stark said scratching the back of his head brushing it aside. "But if you really want to get ready, wouldn't it help to practice and train? With Ulquiorra, who can provide a challenge to you, you can learn of new ways to fight. I think." Stark said although not to confident about his own words. Honestly, he was starting to think he was talking out of his ass since he never trained himself or remotely could relate this to his own experience. But if it got them to calm down, he'd preach to the choir.
"..."White went silent thinking about it but wanting to curse at the Stark for brushing Aizen aside. But the prospect of attaining more power was tempting. Very tempting actually.
"You've already said you need me, Lilynette and Ulquiorra's help. Is that no longer true?" Stark asked wondering what White's plan actually was. It couldn't be just to get a gang of strong hollows together to attack the Shinigami.
"Your reasoning makes sense." Ulquiorra said getting both Stark 1 and 2, and White's attention. "But it is only secondary to the three of us being your insulation." Ulquuiorra pointed out.
Stark nodded denying nothing. "Well of course that comes first. What you want comes second." He said not caring in the least about what they wanted. What could they really do to stop him? "Remember the first rule of Reiastu." Stark repeated knowing that the two knew the 1st rule.
"The strong decide all." Ulquiorra answered lightly before following with a less than happy nod. "Fine. I will tolerate your will." Ulquiorra answered making Stark smile before he looked at White waiting for his answer.
"Tsk, whatever slob. But we are still doing what I want since you, him and the brat don't have any prior engagements." White said since he had no plans of cancelling his meeting with Barragan.
"I don't mind doing what you want and Ulquiorra, you get what you want by getting to watch and observe us hollows and potentially understand. It is a win, win situation for all of us." Stark said smiling with the conclusion since forcing them to his will would take way too much manual labour that Stark just wanted to avoid. "Are we good you two?" Stark asked wondering.
They were silent a second.
White glared at Ulquiorra. No, he didn't care what this asshole said. Ulquiorra was a prick and needed to learn his place. There was no way that asshole wouldn't question Stark and at that moment, White was going to wreck him. Fuck understanding, and rivalry, or competition. He was the stronger being and he wasn't going to take orders from a slob, a loli and an emo.
"I agree with you Stark." Ulquiorra answered submitting to the terms.
"Wait, what?" White said not expecting so.
"I have no interest in fighting. I merely fought because White attacked." Ulquiorra answered. Fighting to Ulquiorra had long lost whatever thrill there was in it and now was just a reason to defend himself or prove he was better. He had not exactly been looking for a fight in any of the fights he had gone through the last few days. Expect for maybe when he had first met White.
"What?" White growled not believing Ulquiorra.
"I did notice that." Stark commented having observed the notion beforehand.
"Killing is easy." Ulquiorra said focusing on Stark how responded to the statement. "I've done it a many times and am very good at it. But I don't relish fighting or killing. I do not mean for others to attack me." Ulquiorra said making Stark relate to his words. Killing was a very easy act and relatively didn't take much though for hollows in general. But as you got stronger, slaughter and death of the vastly weak became dull and disheartening.
"Bullshit!" White shouted not believing Ulquiorra could be so thick. "You said those things trying to start a fight!" White continued remember how he wouldn't shut up about how he knew something he didn't.
"No." Ulquiorra objected. "I said those things to make a point because I am not wrong. You allow something as fickle and invisible as emotion to influence you. You're weakness and inability to argue against my point is why you attacked." Ulquiorra stated making Stark sweat at his bluntness and consider how he would control Ulquiorra blatant personality.
White's reiastu flared once more. "You!" He shouted.
"But you were right about one thing." Ulquiorra said staring at the sky. "I didn't know why I was still here with you all. But now I know what I want. I want to understand. Understand why you all continue." He said becoming slightly fascinated with the moon and night sky above more so because it helped him think. It helped a lot of lost hollows thinking about random nonsense too.
"Yer, well. Of course." White said not sure how else to respond but was somewhat satisfied that Ulquiorra could answer his question now.
"Do not misunderstand." Ulquiorra quickly said though. "Despite it, I am here ultimately because you brought me here accidentally, when you destroyed my home. If you have a problem with me being here, blame yourself. Not me." He finished impassive as stone.
White glared in Ulquiorra's direction, fruitlessly since Ulquiorra couldn't see it but still did so. "I, you. You won't let it go will you?" He said as Ulquiorra seemed to bring it up all the time. Having a label like home-wrecker being said by someone who was stubborn mixed with a slight drop of narcissism was going to be impossible to remove. Ok, maybe it was more than a drop of narcissism with Ulquirroa.
"Yes, I will not." Ulquiorra confirmed only confirming White's thoughts. "But from this point, I will observe your actions, see if they can satisfy my curiosity and take no action to kill you again, even when defending myself. My curiosity will not harm you or anyone else if you do not challenge me. " Ulquiorra stated.
White sweated, as did Stark to the statement. He was still Ulquiorra. "Even when you're being passive, your ego just ruins it." White muttered rolling his eyes.
"You know what, good enough." Stark said wiping the sweat of his forehead. "That's close enough to a promise to no fighting if I ever heard it. So White, you going to join us on the high ground or continue to moan from below." He asked with his foot still on White's back.
Having the hollow of sloth and the hollow of emo on the high ground in morals was distasteful to White. Pretty much peer pressure at this point. "Rah! I hate you both. But I do want you both to help me." He admitted. He couldn't do this alone. Maybe it was his fault Ulquiorra was here. But it was for a reason. Aizen was probably waiting for him in Soul Society. He needed support, he needed allies. "I won't fight either of you again. Unless I want to train." White said submitting to Stark's idea, an idea he thought Stark incapable of too.
"Great." The Starks said as the Starks disappeared from atop the two Vasto Lordes and reappeared in between the two of them as one whole Stark. "Come on, we'll update the others and make our way." He said walking to the group of spectators hidden behind the dunes.
Ulquiorra floated up onto his feet followed by White who quickly walked with them. Although still keeping his distance from Ulquiorra. Without even looking at Stark or White, Ulquiorra quickly said. "I am still the leader though."
"Of course." Stark said without looking at him making White's jaw drop.
"What?! But I thought we were doing what I wanted?" He questioned not understanding why Ulquiorra got to be the leader.
"Yes. We are." Ulquiorra confirmed without a reaction. "Because I as the leader wish to see it. Not because you want it." Ulquiorra said as he continued to walk with Stark.
White's stopped and stared at the two of them. "Great." He said lifting his hands into the air sarcastically. "I thought that was it." He muttered at his arms dropped back the sides and quickly walked up next to them.
As they approached the others though as Ulquiorra and White frowned seeing only Lilynette and Apacchi waiting out in the open for them. Lilynette who was seated with her hands resting under her chin keeping her leg neatly together to rest her elbows on. She looked less than impressed watching them approach. Apacchi on the other hand was still lying in the ground unable to move because of Stark's earlier actions and looked quite impassive and pissed.
"Everything sorted?" Lilynette asked Stark as they approached making her other half nod.
"All sorted." Stark said before looking around where Lilynette was. "Lilynette, where's Halibel?" Stark asked since he had asked her to look after the Vasto Lorde and insulation for himself and Lilynette.
Without a word, Lilynette took one of her hands of her chin and pointed directly below her with a creeping grin on her face.
The three looked down and only saw sand.
Stark deadpanned. "You're sitting on her, aren't you?"
"She may have short, blonde hair, but it's so smooth and soft on my ass." Lilynette answered slyly grinning before lifting up her rags to show Halibel blond hair, her face in the sand and everything else Lilynette had below the waste.
"WHY? WHY must you FLASH yourself?" White shouted flinching while stepping back. Stark frowned and shook his head about ready to bury Lilynette's head a few inches underground. Ulquiorra stared not reacting just wonder why Lilynette was human before leaning to the side to spy the rest of Halibel's body behind Lilynette.
Lilynette glared at White. "You were staring at Halibel's chest only moments ago. Yet you can't even look at my vagina?" Lilynette deadpanned not understanding White. "It's pathetically adorable."
"Why do you and Stark have genitals?" Ulquiorra questioned more curious with that information than Halibel unconscious under Lilynette. Hollows don't breed, excrete or defecate making Stark and Lilynette's body a far more interesting conversation than White's interest in Halibel's chest.
"GET OFF HER NOW!"
Being interrupted but not salty about it, Lilynette leaned her head back to look behind her with sweet eyes, dropping her rags back down covering Halibel's head. At the same time Stark, White and Ulquiorra leaded to the side spying pass Lilynette to the yelling culprit.
Pecking over the sand Mila-rose glared at Lilynette mercilessly trying to cause death by glance. Lilynette, unfazed, made a thoughtful look at the lioness before sweating with a sorrowful look on her face. "I'm, sorry. I forgot you're women. You're mane threw me off again."
"YOU LITTLE TURD!"
"Ha..HAHA..HAHAHAHAHA!" Apacchi laughed like a high hyena that was having pains in its stomach from laughing so hard. "HAHAHAHAH...HAHAHA...HAAHAHA... I was angry being left here to die as my friends hid behind a sand dune..." Apacchi started relaxing in the sand to get her strength back . "...But I love this girl. It's Lilynette right?" Apacchi questioned said little girl.
"Lilynette Gingerback, the cheeky hollow. At your service." Lilynette said with a childish bow from her seat.
"She's SITTING on Lady HALIBEL!" Mila-rose roared defensively, clawing at the sand under her paws. "If you had any respect for Halibel you'd be angry too." Mila-rose shouted directing her anger on Apacchi, instead of the enemy that could crush her in a second.
"HEY! I don't want to hear it from you. I got my legs broken twice in one day." Apacchi snapped back. "And neither of you have been a help to me all day!" Apacchi shouted back before point her horn at Ulquiorra. "The emo has been more helpful than you."
"I am not emo."
"What, you expect me to stand here and do nothing while she sits on Halibel?" Mila-rose shouted back to Apacchi.
"I got my legs broken twice because I did something." Apacchi said resting her head in the sand not looking or acknowledging anyone. "You got no broken legs because you've have done nothing."
...
"I don't think even praying to our God-King could heal that one." Abirama remarked as he peaked over the top of a difference sand dune.
"Abirama! You're still alive! Awesome!" Lilynette shouted with her hands in the air happy to see the weak chicken alive. He was funny.
"Alive and not alone." Abirama said looking behind him to the crowd of hollows, his follow elite guards, with the exception of Findorr who was still out cold from White's earlier attack. They all didn't look the best clearly having been roughed up and defeated by them, but they hadn't run. "White. Niggre told us you wanted to meet God-King Barragan. Why?" Abirama asked ignoring everything else.
All eyes went to White. "What's it matter? If he's impressive enough, you'll get the opportunity to convert me to your belief system." White remarked with a grin under his mask.
"As blessed as you would be placing your belief and trust in our god-king..." Poww started making his easily distinguishable presence known more so. "...we are asking if your intent is malicious?" Poww boomed growling.
"Depends. If he doesn't piss me off, I'll spare him." White commented back getting nothing but angry glares. "Glare all you want. You weaklings couldn't fight me together if you tried. So how about you do the smart thing a help spread the word of your lord by allowing me, maybe them as well..." White said gesturing to Ulquiorra, Stark and Lilynette. "..., to see what all the hype is about. I do hope though your god does not disappoint." He finished awkwardly crossing his bladed-arms.
A few of the elite guard glared at White while the others gave a passive look, although hiding their smiles under their masks.
'I am going to enjoy watching you get your face smashed in.' Ggio Vega thought being of the ones grinning under his mask.
"Our lord does not disappoint." Ggio answered before his eyes shifted to them others. "Will those others be joining?" He continued before making eye contact with Ulquiorra as they stared aggressively at one another. "Please tell me your coming Ulquiorra?"
"Oh he's coming." Charlottle repeated with a passionate voice making Niggre peer at him with a suspicious look.
Again, the green mammoth could swear he was doing that on purpose. He just didn't have the proof yet. No one normal would talk that suggestively every time they opened their mouth. Right? That couldn't be considered normal. But everyone else treated it like it was normal...
"Yes. I will be joining." Ulquiorra clarified. "I too wish to meet this God-King. But I merely wish to meet him. I don't have any plans after that." Ulquiorra said deciding to go with Stark's words and just go with the flow. Even thought multiple had tried to kill within the last few hours, he was bored. Secretly, he enjoyed fighting but didn't realise he did.
Ggio hummed, almost purring. "Spectacular." He mumbled.
SNAP
Lilynette snapped her fingers getting Ggio and the other elite's attention. "Hey pussy-cat, first question." She started getting an annoyed glare from Ggio and a few laughs from everyone else. "How do you talk so easy with those two, big fangs? And second, why didn't you ask me and Stark?" She said resting her hands on her hips, wriggling on Halibel's head.
"First, with ease." Ggio said answering the first question. "Second, I did ask. But am assuming you are coming now." He finished.
Lilynette grinned in response. "Your assumption was correct!" She shouted jumping to her feet, grabbing Halibel by her hair and throwing her to Stark. "Catch Stark!" She muttered as Stark casually caught the unconscious Vasto lorde. With a skip in her feet, Lilynette bounced to the elite guard. "Let's move people. Hope you lot know the way back to your lord. And don't stand too close to me and Stark. Because, well, you'll burn to death." She cheered skipping quickly pass them like they forest critter in a fairy tale.
Impassively, Ulquiorra looked at White who looked back just as impassive before shrugging and walking away to follow the cheeky hollow.
"Alright. This way hollows coming to meet the God-king." Poww said as he and every guard turned in the direction of the Los Noches, the palace of Emperor Luisenbarn.
Placing Halibel on his shoulder Stark patted Ulquiorra's shoulder with a welcoming smile before nodded toward the group of hollows leaving. They were making way and Stark could say he was looking forward to it. Going to walk pass Ulquiorra, Stark stopped though as Mila-rose stood in front of him defensively.
"You'll end up like the deer, pussy-cat. Don't challenge me." Stark said in no mood to...well he wouldn't say fight, more like shoo this fly away. He was mental tired. Physically he could fight for a hundred nights without breaking a sweat but he wasn't up to it in his mind. Too much thinking and deciding and talking, eww it was disgusting to just think about for the hollow of sloth.
"I can't just let you take Lady Halibel." Mila-rose growled fully aware she was going to die trying to fight this enemy. She was trembling with anger and fear not sure what else she could do. "She's not yours." She whispered in anger.
"Do nothing Mila-rose. Everything's going to be ok." Sun-Sun answered for her slithering up behind her getting a distressed look from the lioness. They weren't in a safe situation but Sun-Sun could tell easily enough, that they being Stark, Lilynette and Ulquiorra, had no malicious intent and weren't aiming to manipulate or convince them of anything. They just wanted Halibel's company because of the human like hollow. Given time, Sun-Sun was confident that a compromise could be met.
"We can't stop you." She continued looking a Stark being frank, her eyes drifting to Halibel for a split second. "So we'll join you. Lady Halibel is our master. When she awakens she will most likely attack. You'll need us to calm her." Sun-Sun said quiet sure that would happen the moment she awoke.
Stark nodded. "I wasn't going to stop you from following to begin with. And I doubt anyone else has a problem with it." He said his eyes peering to Ulquiorra behind him with small smirk. "But do remember what Lilynette said. Do get too close to me and her or you'll burn to death." He said walking around them to follow the others that walked beyond the sand dunes, out of their sight but easy to sense.
Mila-rose looked at Sun-Sun with an uncertain face but said nothing to the serpent who squinted confidently. With a swing and smooth slither of her body, Sun-Sun followed Stark looking quite strong and content before Mila-rose turned to follow reluctantly. Sun-Sun first thought was always correct, going about any decision or people she came too. That was why Mila-rose hated when Sun-Sun got her way, partly because her intuition was always right but mostly because she'd rub it in her face later.
Soon enough they and Stark were gone too over the sand dunes.
...
"Are you serious right now?" Apacchi questioned to herself still on the ground. She couldn't move and they knew that. Or had they just forgotten her.
"You are not serious right now!?" She shouted not believing that she had been left behind. This was it, her friends really were the worst.
"You think you're being funny! Bitches! Coming back here and help me!" She shouted before letting her head hit the sand. Within a few seconds, a shadow moved over her.
"Oh no, why you?" She said looking up at Ulquiorra, standing over her staring at her with is big green, annoying eyes.
"Are you joining us?" Ulquiorra asked sure she would but was confused as to why she had been left behind.
"Of course I am. I just can't move right now."
Inspecting her body, Ulquiorra focused on her legs and could see Stark's reiastu lingering in her body disrupting her reiastu and healing. It looked like a poison almost but seemed to be stuck to her. "If you don't move so you're going be left behind." Ulquiorra pointed out.
"I noticed!" Apacchi shouted. "I would have left already Captain Obvious if I could." Staring at her blankly, Apacchi quickly grew frustrated with Ulquiorra screwing with her.
"Would you like me to carry you?" Ulquiorra asked.
"No! Yes! I mean, why are you offering?" Appachi said wondering why Ulquiorra was waiting for her.
"Because you asked me before." Ulquiorra recalled remember Apacchi begging him to take her to her friends. "I thought you would require assistance again being in a similar situation."
"Why though?" She asked very suspicious of Ulquiorra.
Ulquiorra was going to explain why through he's earlier conversation with Stark and White but decided to make it simple. "Because I want to."
"Hmph, whatever. Fine. Carry me." Appachi growled not having much else of a choice in people. She could ask him to drag her friends back to carry her but was content with Ulquiorra carrying her.
...
"No...no... why are you carrying me like this again?" Appachi whimpered a little red under her mask as her belly rested across Ulquiorra's shoulders as her legs hook around and down his neck and chest. When Sun-Sun and Mila-rose saw her they were going to make fun of her hunted pose on Ulquiorra.
"Like I said before. It is the easiest way to carrying you." He said as he started walking with the deer on his shoulder looking at him confused. Looking at him she was anger but she soon began to think more. He had no mouth and no need to eat. Like Halibel. And like Halibel, he was helping her.
Letting her head hang she relaxed. "Thanks." She whispered looking away from him as much as possible. Thanking his asshole made her feel pathetic but he was helping her.
Ulquiorra heard her but didn't say a thing.
'Being thanked by a hollow.' Ulquiorra thought not uncomfortable but content that he joined Stark and Lilynette. There was much more to hollows than he thought, and he was looking forward to seeing more. The God-king awaited them and Ulquiorra could say that he was looking forward to meeting the God-king.
XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX
Techniques list:
Cero - The destruction of atoms and their components to residual reiastu through abrasion of violently streaming and burning spiritual particles.
Mass shifting - The ability to stretch, condense or expand a portion of one's body. Examples, Ulquiorra's Wings, Ggio's Tail, Sun-Sun's body, Niggre's Trunk.
Free Mass Shifting - The ability to turn one's body to a liquefied state. All Gillan hollows are capable of this. Turning their bodies to a liquid form.
Ulquiorra:
Cielo Nocturno (Night Sky) - Through his wings, Ulquiorra can generate reiastu waves that amplify and lead air around himself in the form of twisters, blasts and blades. His control of air is however only through his wings, their movement and the reiastu waves. He hasn't developed in a way of manipulating air without these means to do so. The reach of these reiastu waves is incredibly large and the further they go from his wings, the more power and violent the winds can become.
Luz (Light) - Is the lance he capable of materializing. The lance is capable of increasing and decreasing its length in either direction, at the same time or from a single side. By saying or thinking its name Ulquiorra can cause it to explode in a flash of light that continues to expand and burn violently for 3 seconds.
Dios Vista (God's View) - Allow Ulquiorra to manipulate the perception of his eyes to extremely high level, making the world move either slower or faster through his eyes.
White:
Oscuras (Dark)- Allows White to generate darkness that takes the form of a thick, heavy sticky liquid liking to plasma. It is capable of crushing and burning those who make contact with it and will stick. The amount of darkness that can be generated is ridiculously larger and from the point its generated it can continue to grow. It can become so large that it can look like a landslide or very small island. White can manipulate it with thoughts alone. However the movement of the darkness is slow struggling to move at some points. The reiastu can be identified simply as hollow, though does not distinguish White's reiastu.
Todo Pero La Lluvia (Everything but the rain) - Allows White to create rain clouds and thus rain. When it rains his stamina and reiastu reserves and control increase to a point that he can increase his speed greatly allow him to make multiple after-images of himself or completely invisible to the eye. It is also capable of increasing his strength, durability and healing. A problem with the technique is however that doing so amplifies bad memories in his mind, making him more aggressive and desperate to win. This makes the ability dependent on his level of despair in the situation, thus why he hates using it. No one knows this effect though.
Stark and Lilynette:
Descorrer - A common ability among Arracanar, allowing access to the Garganta and through the Garganta access to the human world and soul society. It appears a rift in space being able to expand to accommodate any size of objects. It is stable enough that it can't generate a vacuum like a rift should.
Quemar (Burn) - By touching anything with their raw, solidified reiastu Stark and Lilynette can cause an instant incineration of nearly anything much like a cero. Unlike a cero though, it spreads from the point of contact and produces no visible flames or energy. Those that watch it swear that it burns and strips its target to ash but can't see, hear, smell, taste or feel any evidence of such.
Halibel:
Tierra Ardiendo Mar Cero (Sea burning Land Cero) - A cero 2000x Halibel's size that blasts in the form of a wall like cero before turning into a streaming Tsunami cero. It is extremely destructive being able to stream itself for 15 seconds reaching a very long distance before ending. It could kill Seated to Vice-Captiain level shinigami.
Apacchi, Sun-Sun and Mila-rose:
Hermas Cero (Sisters Cero) - A cero combined by the three followers of Halibel. It is capable of harming / potentially killing Vasto Lordes and Seated Level Shinigami.
Cuerno Cero (Horned Cero) - Appachi builds a cero on the tip of her horn, stabs her enemy with the horn and releases the cero from inside (Appachi only).
Poww and Ggio:
Falso Cero (False Cero) - A fake cero charged to look like it was going to be fire but is in fact a dud (Ggio only).
Marejada Cero (Surging Cero) - A massive cero fired from Poww's mouth, matching the diameter of Poww's mouth as a Whale and producing a thunderous boom when fired. It is capable of killing hordes of adjucent hollows easily (Poww only).
