Back Story:

Just like Violet, Darrel lives with his parents (Cameron Arthur and Carolyn Lavoie) and twin siblings (Josh and Janet Lavoie). Violet and Darrel met when they were both 5. Their mothers are childhood friends, so they wanted them to meet each other since they wanted their bond to last. They were opposites so they couldn't get along well. But every day their mothers would let them meet. As they grew they both made a relationship which consists of rivalry. But still they enjoyed each other's company. They spent most of their time together and not in a good way, but just fighting. At the age of 9 they battled and whoever wins was superior to the other. Violet won which angered him and made him train harder. Even if he trained hard every day, he still couldn't defeat her, which gave him a strong sense of determination. He still has to defeat her and tries to find every way to defeat her. Even though they have a bad relationship, he has grown attached to her.

(He likes the color black. You might be saying that it was pretty obvious but whatever)

("-_VIOLET P.O.V'_-")

"Hello," he says, "Darrel do you still intend to defeat me?" I ask the man who looks like he is going to a funeral. "Of course, don't ask such an obvious question," he replies and smiles at me. "I'm fine with whatever you do, but just don't disturb me during a Phase," I stare intently at him, he looks like he doesn't take what I'm saying seriously. "Sure," he says still having that stupid grin. I leave and head to where I originally wanted to go. He's planning something. Well he wants to defeat me. So he wouldn't really follow what I said, well that is to be expected from him. "Netero-san, what is the next Phase going to be?" I ask the old man. "Well, you will see for yourself," of course I didn't really expect for Netero-san to give me an answer. A few minutes later we went aboard the airship with 42 remaining applicants. "Allow me to introduce myself to the remaining 42 applicants. I am Netero, Chairman of this year's Hunter Exam Selection Committee," Netero says. "I'm his secretary, Beans," a 'man' with green skin and a head resembling a bean says. "Originally, I'd planned to make my appearance during the exam's final phase, but as I'm already here," Netero stops for a while and looks at us. "I love the tension in the air! So I'll stick around for the rest of the trip," Netero points out. "We are scheduled to arrive at our destination tomorrow morning at 8 AM. You'll find dinner waiting in the dining hall. You are also welcome to get some rest. In other words, you're free to do as you please until you are contacted," Beans continued. "Okay! Gon, explore the airship," Killua exclaims to spiky-haired boy. "Yeah," he says and the duo had left. "How can they have so much energy? I'm hitting the sack," Leorio says.

"You can say that again. However, I do have one concern."

"Hmm, what's up?" Leorio questions what the blonde had said.

"How many more phases are there," he points out. He's right though, not one of us has ever thought of that before.

"They've never mentioned that haven't they," Leorio responses, a few seconds later we were approached by Tonpa.

"On average, there are 5 to 6 phases," I eyed him in suspicion. He quivered a bit as soon as he saw me. His thoughts are all just for the fun of 'crushing' us.

"Which means we still have 3 or 4 to go," Leorio responds with a bit of melancholy.

"All the more means to rest," Kurapika says slightly depressed or tired.

"But you should be careful. The secretary only told us when we'll arrive at our destination. It's possible that the third exam could take place on the ship itself. And it doesn't necessarily mean we'll be contacted at 8 AM," I smirk at what he said, my eyes darkened. I couldn't understand the rest since I was too busy thinking about how to kill him. Before I even noticed the two were calling me. "Wait, I have something to talk with Tonpa-san!" I called out to the two. I slowly lean near his ear. "Don't even try, as long as I'm with them you can't even try to do your thing," I whisper to him. He responds with a nod and leaves. I then head to the two who were awaiting me. "What did you tell him?" Leorio says. His voice slightly tired. "Nothing, it's not important," I just replied. We then walked to a room, which was the dining hall. There were a few people there. We had our fill and left the room immediately. We headed to one of the rooms on the ship. I sat next to Kurapika. They slept after a few minutes. I can't just stay here and do nothing about Darrel. I left the room and try to look for him. I walked though almost all of the hallways. While I was walking through one, I felt pressure from one of the rooms. No doubt about it, its Darrel's. I open the door, the creaking of made the dark room gave it a feeling that Darrel would like. In the middle of the room was a man. "I didn't expect you to make it very obvious," I call out to the man in the room. "I thought you wouldn't have found me if I hadn't done so," he says sarcastically. "Tsk… fine then. If you want to fight me, I will accept," I say. I just want to end it now. "I knew you would say that," he grins at me. We both ready ourselves. For a moment we both disappeared. I try to kick his head, but was blocked. He grabs hold on my leg, and I was tossed. I get out my sword and hit legs, arms, and stomach. I injured his stomach a bit but he wouldn't lose just by that. He aims for my stomach as well but I blocked it with my sword. I then move faster and faster until he couldn't keep up. Tsk… he's gotten much better, but he still has a long way to go. I then saw a chance to aim for his throat. I place my sword on his throat. "Are you done?" I ask him. Based on the look on his grin, he forfeits. I remove the blade which was about to penetrate his throat and leave. "Challenge me when you've gotten stronger," I comment and head back to the room. I didn't expect him to take the Hunter Exam. Well he has always been the type to never give up, so that was to be expected. I reached the room and saw Tonpa-san peeking through the door. "Excuse me Tonpa-san," I rudely walk past the door, and closed it shut. I sat next to Kurapika, and rummaged through my bag to look for the picture. I eventually got it out again and remembered what father said. I sigh at the thought. I run my fingers on the picture. He resembles Mother, the black hair. I mean I have black hair too, but it he resembles Mother more. Pale complexion, grey eyes, it's like mother in another form. His gaze is cold here, but it seems very comforting a bit. I just hope it would be that easy to find him. But, they never said how long I should take, so I can take my time. It's getting late, those two haven't arrived yet. They'll arrive later. I place the photo back in my bag. I should get some sleep. I fell asleep the moment I closed my eyes.

THE FOLLOWING MORNING

I groaned, it's morning already, but I still don't want to move. The two have already left, since I always wake up late. I lazily grab my bag. I try to properly stand up. It was noisy in a specific room. I head to the room, and most of the applicants were there. I saw the group but Gon couldn't be found. I run over to them. "Morning," I called out, waving my hand. "Morning," all of them replied. "Where's Gon?" he wasn't with them so he must be doing something. "He's probably still sleeping," Killua mentions, he has a very ominous air around him today. "I apologize for the long wait everyone. The airship will soon arrive at its destination," Beans explains. After a few minutes the airship landed on top of a tower. "Everyone the exam's Third Phase will begin here at the top of Trick Tower. To pass this exam, you must reach the tower's base alive, the time limit seventy-two hours. With that, we will now begin the Third Phase. I will pray for your success," but I wonder where the examiner is, or who he is. The airship then leaves. We were stuck on top of the tower. I walk over to the edge. I see. I understand what they're planning. I looked for the rest who were apparently staring at something. I walked over to them to check what they were looking at. There was a man who was climbing down the tower. Idiot, the Hunter Exam wouldn't be so easy as to make a phase which requires us to only climb down a tower. A moment later a group of birds, or more like some mutant baby-bird thing swooped up the man. Just as I suspected, we can't climb down. There must be a hidden entrance here. I stare at the pattern of the surface of the tower. There is a possibility there is going to be an entrance here. A few minutes later, the number of applicants has been reduced. They have found one before me. I placed my foot on one of the blocks. The blocked seemed like it was going to open. I jumped and the there was a room. There was a table like thing on one side of the room along with a board with a message on it. I read the message "The 6 of you must the will of the majority to reach the goal," it says. I look at the surface of the table, six stopwatches with X and O on it. I got one and placed it on my wrist. I have to wait for five more then. A moment later, a group appeared. Killua, Gon, Kurapika, and Leorio arrived. Is like some kind of fate or something? "Ah, Gon-kun, Killua-kun, Kurapika-san, Leorio-san," my voice echoed in the room. "Violet-san," Gon says ecstatically. Two hours later another person arrived. Tonpa the Rookie Crusher arrived. Most of us seemed depressed on who arrived. They all grabbed their watches, and a door was revealed. "At this door, select O to open, X to not open," Gon reads what was written on it. All of us obviously chose O. The screen then showed the results. 5 said O and 1 said X. Leorio was infuriated and suspected Tonpa which was highly likely. He bickers at the man for a few minutes. I didn't really care since I don't like noisy people and the door was open anyway. "It doesn't matter the door opened," Gon says. "No, it does matter. This guy deliberately pressed the wrong button!" Leorio says, trying to convince us. "Sheesh, you're so childish. It doesn't matter as long as it's open. And besides what's done is done. You can't do anything. Sweetheart please kindly shut your mouth!" I yell mockingly. "That's right, even if he keeps pressing the wrong button, the rest of us just need to press the right one," Killua continues. "Fine," Leorio says in defeat. The room which was revealed had another question. "Which way do you want to go? O for right, and X for left," Gon reads it out loud once more. We pressed a button and once again the results are shown. 4 chose O and 2 chose X. "Huh! W-Why would you choose to go right? Normally you should go left." Leorio once again gives another problem, but this time I chose to shut my mouth.

"That's true. Studies have indicated that people who are lost or stuck at forks unconsciously tend to go left."

"I've heard that before too."

"Wait! The numbers don't add up! Which button did you press?"

, "Right," Killua and Kurapika said one after the other.

"Y-You guys."

"That's why they chose to go right, to outfox the examiner. If the examiner knows that people tend to go left, the left path will be more difficult," Tonpa says running over to the three. I follow them and try to get close to his ear. "Know-it-All, you're getting cocky just because they stopped Leorio. If you stop I won't kill you," I whisper in to his ear. I could sense that he is getting irritated. We were presented with an arena looking room. The middle of the room was probably where the fight is going to occur, but it is the only place where you can stand on. On the other side of the room was a group of cloaked figures with shackles on their wrists. "The applicants have arrived, remove the shackles," one of them says. The shackles were instantly removed and fell to the floor with a loud thump and removed his cloak in the process. "Jeez… I'm finally free," a muscular man with a few scars on his head says. "Allow me to explain, before you are some of Trick Tower's prisoners. The Hunter Exam Committee has also officially hired them as examiners. You will be against the six of them. The fights will be one-on-one. Each person may only fight once. You are free to use any method you like. There will be no draws. A win is declared when the opponent admits defeat," the unknown announcer or the examiner ends his sentence there. "You may choose your order, it is majority rule. So secure four wins and you may pass. The rules are simple," the man on the other end says .Three wins, that's easy enough. "However the actual fights will not be quite so simple. The prisoners' sentences will be reduced by one year, for every hour they delay the applicants here. In other words, their goal is to also buy time," the examiner continues. They smell of trouble so I decided to use my powers. I cover my right eye with my right hand. The first one was 199-year sentence for robbery and murder, Bendot. The second one was 149-year sentence for serial bombings, Sedokan. The third was 108-year sentence for repeated fraud and blackmail, Leroute. Fourth was 112-year sentence for illegal gambling and trafficking of endangered species, Majitani. Fifth was 986-year sentence he killed 146 people, all were torn into at least 50 pieces by using his bare hands. In some cases, his victims are torn into thousands of pieces and regardless of what gender it is. When he was arrested, he did not resist, instead he tore a large piece of flesh off the left arm of the police officer, Johness. My eyes widened at the last man, it couldn't be. I was a bit surprised at the last one. Let's see if I can get the chance to fight him. Sadly, Killua will have to fight him. "Okay I'm up first. Choose your combatant," the man called Bendot calls out to our attention. "I'll go," Tonpa says. I just want to watch him suffer for some reason. After choosing, a bridge was connected to the arena. He walked up to it and met with the man face to face. "Now let us determine the method of combat. I propose a death match," he stares at him as if he wants him to be faltered by it. "I accept," I smirk, he felt a bit annoyed by it. "I commend you for your courage," he says. He prepares his aura and attacks, well close to attacking. "I GIVE UP!" Tonpa says all of a sudden. That idiot didn't even want to win. He just wants to sabotage us doesn't he? He headed back after it was decided. "Man that was a disgrace. He looked a lot stronger up close," he says as if he wants us to believe him. Leorio grabs his shirt in a threat to make him stop. "Bastard you just confirmed all my suspicions. You're a worthless piece of trash only good for sabotaging other applicants," Leorio has started another quarrel. "Exactly, that's what I do every year and I plan to continue the tradition. I'm not looking to pass the Hunter Exam. I'm only in it for the thrills. The Hunter Exam is a trial meant to crush confident young people's dreams. The moment of despair, when ambition and hope give way, gives me the sense of exquisite pleasure, especially when I'm actively shattering these rookies' dreams. I don't plan on becoming a Hunter. I've already had enough fun this year. It's time for me to bow out," the expression on his face changed. I sigh "You really act like a child this is what they want us to do. To waste our time quarreling with each other you idiot," I exclaimed he was starting to get annoying and I can't hold it back in. "However, if their goal is to buy time, then the old man made the correct choice. That bald guy is probably a former soldier or mercenary. Had you fought him, he would have started by crushing your throat so you couldn't give up. Then he would have tortured you without killing you," Killua explains the possible sadistic methods he would have done on Tonpa. Another person appeared. "Don't worry everything will be fine," another says he's probably the next one. Just like the first one, the shackles were removed and he removed his cloak. "If we defeat 4 of the remaining 6, then we win," he continues. He was slender and he didn't look like a fighter either, so Killua didn't have to make the move on this one. "Who's going next?" Killua asks the remaining 5. "Me, I'll go," Gon raises his hand. "Are you sure?" Leorio looks at Gon intently. "It's fine since he is not a fighter but a serial bomber. But be careful thought Gon, everyone has a trick or two up their sleeve," I remind the younger boy about it. Sedokan's grin can easily be read. The bridge extended once again. Gon and Sedokan were prepared. I didn't really care about what they are talking about but all of a sudden he held out two candles, a smaller one and a longer one. Most people would choose the smaller one since they all know that it is a bit cliché. He's really easy to read he put some oil on the longer on to make it burn easily, but the stronger the flame the harder it is for it to die. I heard a bit of their conversation and I remember him saying that the first one whose candle's flame dies first is the loser. Gon chose the longer one without knowing about the consequences and he chose it for the same reason as simple-minded people have. Just as I suspected the flame started to burn wildly, the candle started to melt quickly. Gon placed the candle on the floor and went over to Sedokan's candle and blew the flame out. Gon had won the match. It was a bit of common sense and wasn't really interesting. The third match started, unlike the others this one he didn't immediately take of his cloak. "Alright, I'll go next," Kurapika suggests it was his turn. The bridge extended again. Once they reached the ground he removed his cloak and revealed another muscular man with blue skin with hearts on his left chest. He resembles Frankenstein a bit. "That's one freaky body," Leorio seemed astounded by it. "And face…," Killua adds. "Look here," he points to the hearts on his chest. "I've killed nineteen people, but it bugs me that nineteen is such an uneven number. I'm so glad I've gotten to meet number twenty. I insist that we put our lives on the line. I won't accept some half-assed contest. Blood! Entrails! Agony!" he then lets out another laugh. He should be scared now? What a cocky bastard who relies on the way he looks. "Very well, you can decide on how we settle this contest. I'll agree to your decision," Kurapika shows no sign of fright. I can see him clench his fist. You still maintain the thought that he's scared, I want to kill him all of a sudden. "In that case, I also propose a death match where we fight until one of us surrenders or dies. However, don't expect me to stop when you surrender and beg for your life," he lets out another laugh. Is he still trying to provoke him? Your thoughts surely are annoying. "Very well, I accept," he takes of his tabard (I don't know what they're called). "Let us begin," Majitani looked disappointed at his reply. He ponders once more but I was too lazy or bored to listen. "Hold on. I forgot to mention something. No weapons allowed. We'll beat each other to death with our fists. After all, while I may be hired as an examiner, I'm still a prisoner. I'm not allowed to carry any weapons," he's trying to avoid himself getting injured or eventually killed, what a coward. "I see, I understand," he throws his swords on the floor. While Majitani was pondering I looked at him, he seemed scared. "Anything else, if not, I'd like to get started," he says. He smirks then inhales. As he does so his muscles become more prominent. It's as if he wants him to be amazed or something. "Hey now, is Kurapika going to be alright. This guy looks dangerous," well it must be scary for someone unlike me. "Don't worry. He will win," I say. "How are you sure," Leorio faces me begrudgingly. "It can't be helped, can it? When Kurapika threw his swords on the floor, didn't you see the look on his face? He almost looked like he was nervous or scared. A person with that big of a body shouldn't be faltered by that. And his thoughts all have the same meaning like "You have be trembling in your boots" it's like he wants him to be scared. In short, it's his appearance which makes others falter. And he is aware of this so he expects Kurapika to be the same as the rest," I explain. He didn't give me a reply but he just continued watching their ongoing match. He jumps high into the air and aims for Kurapika. He dodges and the part of the floor he was standing one was crushed. He stands and turns around, and reveals a tattoo of a twelve-legged spider. "A tattoo of a spider with twelve legs… that's," what is it. "Yeah, I recognize it. Anyone aspiring to become a Hunter has heard of it. That's the symbol worn by the notorious band of evil thieves, the Phantom Troupe," my eyes widened at the name of the so-called notorious band. It seems familiar, father explained this to me once but I was too young to understand, "Really?" Gon asks, "Yeah, definitely. They're famous. I heard about them straight from Kurapika." Leorio reassures. I turn to Kurapika. The air around him has changed. Majitani turns back to Kurapika and chuckles. I haven't heard that much about the Phantom Troupe, but based on the way he acted the whole time, the tattoo must be a fake.

"What's wrong? Cat got your tongue? I'm Majitani, one of the Phantom Troupe's four kings. Consider that first strike my way of saying hello. This is our last chance to surrender. I'm still willing to…" he was cut short until Kurapika lifted his head. He's from the Kurta clan so his eyes must have already turned scarlet. I couldn't see much of Kurapika's face since his back was faced towards us.

"W-What's wrong with you?" Kurapika suddenly disappeared. He appears in front of Majitani and grabs hold of his face and lifts him up, "O-O-Okay. Wait! I get it! I surrender!" he was then punched and fell straight to the floor. "Consider this as a warning. First: a real Phantom Troupe tattoo has the member's number on the spider. Second: they don't bother counting how many they've killed. Third: never mention the Phantom Troupe ever again. If you do, I'll kill you," I smirk. I want to fight him. I try to stop bloodlust from leaking. He puts back on his tabard (I don't know what they're called) and his swords and heads back.

"You okay, Kurapika?"

"Yeah, I'm not injured."

"Also, is it safe for us to be near you?"

"From the moment I saw him, I knew he was weak. And mentally, I knew that was a fake tattoo, but as soon as I saw the spider, everything in my sight turned red."

"Well, I can't really blame you."

"Actually, to tell you the truth, even when I see a real spider, my personality changes, and I enter a frenzy."

"You should have told us sooner…"

"But this means that the rage in me remains strong as ever. I suppose I should be happy," he sits next to me.

"We should keep Kurapika away from spiders", "Definitely."

I turn to look at the opponents. They are discussing something about the next would do. It would be the woman, right? Leroute wasn't it? The remaining are Killua, Leorio, and myself. "Okay! I'll secure one win!" I just hope Leorio is not easy to manipulate. Since his opponent is a woman. "Okay! Toss that guy out and send in your next competitor!" he seems mature now but how will he act later. "We can't do that," so it is really a woman. "What's that," Leorio gets pissed off easily doesn't he? "We can't move him yet, because his match hasn't been settled," she's got a point, that guy is still awake. I can hear his thoughts. "The match hasn't been settled? What do you mean?" he's as noisy as ever. She goes over to the body of Majitani and checks on it. "He is still alive, he was only knocked out," not for long. I stand up and grabbed my knives. I walk over to the body and think of a possible place where I can cut him. I placed one of my knives on his neck. "If he's not dead he would react immediately and if he is he wouldn't feel a thing right? Okay, let's make a deal. If he reacts when I slowly start to cut his throat we win this round and otherwise. You said it was a death match so I can end his life here," I smirk. I couldn't hold back my urge to kill him. "I bet 40 hours that he isn't unconscious," the woman says. "We'll lose if he dies. So you can have three wins," we waited a few hours for him to wake up thought. "Tsk…," I slowly start to cut his throat when he suddenly wok up "I'm awake! I'm awake," we won that one and then began the match of Leorio and Leroute. "Well? Are you going to tell me what the next bet will be? Or have you lost your nerve because I've figured out your scheme?" I have a bad feeling about this. Her shackles were removed and revealed a beautiful woman with wild pink hair. "Very well," this just confirmed my suspicions. "That old guy is probably dancing on the inside," Killua's idea was actually correct. "Then let's bet on whether I am a man or a woman," don't tell she's going to let him. "What's wrong is there a problem," he is going to fall for it. "N-No," Leorio thinks for a while. "That's fine But how will you prove if I'm wrong?" well I can already tell what's going to happen. "Oh right! I'll let you examine every part of my body. Until you are fully satisfied," fully satisfied? That would take forever, since a male like Leorio probably has some dirty thoughts in his head. That's their plan, there's a chance he would say she's a man for him to do so. "Leorio will bet she's a man," Kurapika expects that too. "Okay, I've decided. I bet 10 hours that you're a man," idiot, don't worry I'll punch him later. "Too bad, I'm a woman. Would you like to check?" she is really a temptress. "B-B-But of course," he immediately runs over to her. A minute later he was indeed completely satisfied. "Now it's your turn to think of a gamble. What do you want to bet on?" well I didn't expect anything more from Leorio, "Hey Leorio, why don't you bet if you are still in your teens!" good one Gon. "Come on, Gon, It's pretty clear that I'm still a teenager!" no it doesn't. Leroute also seemed shocked at that. "Right, in that case, we'll use rock-paper-scissors! I'll bet on who'll win a game of rock-paper-scissors!" we already lost 10 hours in his match so please don't act like an idiot now. Before I even realized it was the second try. "I win!" she happily says and runs off. He came back with a slump. I stand up and punch in the head as hard as I can. "Idiot, we have no time to care about your personal needs. It was fine with me if you hadn't sacrifices the first bet with it!" I scold him. "Sorry, I was pretty confident about my rock-paper-scissors abilities," he just says. I sit once again in the spot I have been before. "Pretty pathetic showing then," Tonpa says. "What was that? Well, I can't argue with you on this one," he admits it. Well I am not the person who forgives easily. The score was then 2-2. Before I even realized the next one entered. It was finally my turn and I can finally have some fun. The man unveils himself and just as expected. It was the son of the person who I killed a few months ago. He's here to get revenge. Well I can't really blame him. "Hello, are you Mr. Sedgwick? Do you still remember me?" I ask the young man before me.

"How could I ever forget? You're that woman who massacred my family and placed the blame on me!"

"Well, don't blame me. I was merely ordered to by your family's rival."

"Don't give me that shit! It is your fault that I'm stuck here!"

"Have you gotten better at fighting? If so please make this worthwhile."

He immediately started running towards me. I stand on the same spot. He tries to cut me with me with a knife. He is starting to move faster though. I let my guard down and he suddenly appeared behind me. I turn around and he kicked me. I tried to lessen the impact with my hands but failed. He appeared in front of me and prepares his knife. As he almost hits my head I dodge, but there was a small slit on my cheek. Tsk… do I have to use my sword. I take my unsheathed sword and aim at him. I don't want to kill him instantly. I feint for his stomach and appear behind him. His body was thrown to the other side. He slowly gets up and throws multiple kicks and punches at me. I grab both of his arms and locked him into place and placed him onto the floor. "Oh yeah, we never decided on how we should fight. Do you propose a death match?" I ask him. He replied with a groan. "I'll take that as a yes," I smirk. I hoped that this fight was longer than this. I unsheathe my sword and end his life. "I win right?" I turn to the group of prisoners. "Y-Yes," Bendot says. I smile and sheathe my sword. I walk back to them group. "You could've killed him instantly though," Killua points out. "Well, I was quite bored and wanted it to last a bit longer," I reply. "You're going to kill your opponent instantly right?" I ask him. We are both born in a family whose members all enjoy killing. Well my family enjoys killing as a hobby. Killua's family is more like for their living. "You act like your mother if you say it that way," he points out. "Well I was born into a family of serial killers, so it can't be helped," I say. The rest seemed shocked at what I had just said. "Violet you were born into a family of killers?" Gon asks me. "Yeah, the Elaraveths to be precise, that's why Killua and I are acquainted," I explain. "Ah, Killua it's your turn," I say. "Guess I'm off," he says calmly, just when he was about to leave, "What Killua?" Leorio suddenly yells. "What's that supposed to mean?" he asks, nothing less from a person who is confident about his abilities. "Damn it! I really needed to win my round!" is he underestimating him? Well I should shut up for a while. "Gon this guy is totally pissing my off," he mutters t him. "Don't give up before we even know what the contest is about! Well if it's something like mental math, I'm surrendering," he lectures. "That's right! Depending on the opponent, we still have a chance," I don't really get Leorio sometimes. The man named Johness removed his cloak. "That guy…" Leorio mutters.

"You know him?"

"We should take the loss. Killua! Don't fight him!", "Why not?" he asks.

"Johness the Dissector, the worst mass murderer in Zaban's history. He chose his victims randomly. It was a famous case, 146 people, young and old, men and women, met with brutal deaths with his hand. They had one thing in common. He murdered all of them with his bare hands. He was known for his iron grip, the power in his fingers. You don't have to face that psychotic killer, there's always next year."

Despite what he said he still went to fight him.

"Hey Killua! Killua! Damn it, did he even listen to me?"

"We should let him go. Maybe, he has a plan."
They met face to face. "How are we settling this contest?" he asks, "Contest? I believe you're confused. This will be a one-sided massacre. I have no interest in the Hunter Exam or any offer of amnesty. I just want to hear you scream," the man named Johness replied, "Really? Okay. Then the loser is the one who dies."

"Yeah, that's right. I'll tear your body apart," he extends his hand. Sadly Killua had already made the move. Johness hadn't realized what he did until it happened. Killua walked slightly away from him. "W-What. I'm so cold," I was correct. He turns to look at Killua. He shows him a part of his shirt with blood stained on it. "That's… mine. G-Give it back," he suddenly fell to the ground. Hmm, that was quick, but I could do it quicker. I would like to give him a funeral though. Maybe I can ask mother and father about that. "Okay that's four wins, two losses. We pass right?" he asks the man named Bendot. "Yeah, you win," he says. "By the way, you must be itching for some action, since you didn't get to do anything. Want to play with me?" he mocks. "I'll abstain," he says, I could see him sweating a bit. "Oh, okay," he seemed a bit disappointed by his response. "Who is he?" Leorio asks. "He's one of the members of the Zoldyck family. He is the third to be precise," I explain. "So we have to members of infamous families," I smile at him.
