Alexis POV

"It's a Saturday and there's nothing to do. Mindy and Jasmine went to the beach to look for some 'eyecandy', Atticus is messing around with Zane at the harbor and Chazz went to see Bastion, something about revenge for humiliating him the other day," Alexis thought.

"Should I go visit Jaden? I mean, he's not one to make plans on days like this. I mean, it's not like I want to see him or anything," Alexis blushed at the thought.

"Okay then, let's go," she said, standing up to fix her hair and, with one last look at the mirror, left to go look for the King of Slifer Red and, undoubtedly, the guy who stole her heart, like she'll ever admit that.

Slifer Red Dorm

Normal POV

"Jaden, you need to stop thinking about dueling for a while and just rest. Look at yourself, you're in no condition to stand, not to mention go run around to challenge someone," Syrus said to his sick-looking friend.

"But I don't wanna mommy. I want to play cards right now," Jaden whined like an eight year old boy.

"For the umpteenth time, I'm not your mother!" shouted Syrus.

"Better mother than a monster," grumbled a person from near the door, "to think that I'll be thought as a 500 pound grizzly bear with six-inch claws. I swear that cold of his is making him think like a madman."

"What should we do then Chumley?" asked Syrus rather impatiently.

"Simple, we leave him alone for a day or two until he recovers," stated Chumley.

"That's ridiculous! How on earth do you think will Jaden even recover if we leave him alone like this," now looking at the brown-haired teen, trying to catch something imaginary from the air.

Before Chumley could respond, they heard a knock on the door.

"Jaden, are you in there?" said a sweet female voice from behind the closed door.

"There's your answer Syrus," Chumley replied to his blue-haired friend.

Alexis POV

As soon as the door opened, I saw Chumley smiling as he welcomed me in and a nerve-wracked Syrus just behind him.

"Hey guys, is Jaden around?" she asked.

"Yep, he's still lying down on his bed thinking up some new strategy. Me and Sy are gonna leave you guys now. Will be back tomorrow morning to check on him. Oh and the medicine is under the kitchen sink," Chumley said hurriedly, pulling Syrus with him, left, and then closed the door behind them.

I stare at the now closed door in front of me, wondering what was that all about when a voice broke through my thoughts.

"Mommy, I'm feeling hot," said the voice. Is that Jaden I heard?

Going up to see him in his bed, I saw him sweating and shivering at the same time. The sight of seeing him like that made my heart melt.

"Oh Jaden," Alexis said worriedly. Now I know why those two left. How typical of them to leave everything to me when stuffs like this happens.

I knelt down to feel his forehead with the back of my hand before he removed it away.

"Not like that mommy," he said while grabbing my head and pulling it closer, our foreheads touching. I blushed, surprise from the close contact he made so suddenly. After a few minutes, I pulled away.

"You're fever is really high Jaden. What have you been doing lately?" she asked.

"I played cards with a friend last night by the river then I fell. Is mommy mad? Jaden said, hiding beneath his blankets.

"No, mommy's not mad," Alexis replied, playing along with him.

"Can mommy make my fever go bye-bye now?" Jaden asked, poking his head out of his blankets, staring at her with puppy dog-eyes.

"He is just so cute and adorable. I just want to hug him," Alexis thought while patting his head.

"Don't worry my little Jaden; mommy will make sure that your bad cold go away," she replied.

Standing up, she looked for the medicine Chumley told her about and wet a new towel to put on Jaden's forehead. After making sure Jaden drank the medicine, (Eww… It tastes like dirty old sock) she replaced the towel on his forehead and asked him to go to sleep now.

"Give me a good-night kiss first mommy," Jaden asked her.

"Ehh? D-do you really need one?" Alexis replied, blushing like a little schoolgirl.

"But you always do that before you tuck me in to sleep."

Hearing that, Alexis put a brave face on and kissed his cheek, her face red like a tomato. I wouldn't mind Jaden like this.

After giving him his kiss, he immediately fell asleep, snoring like a running freight train. He never changes, even after being sick.

She plopped down on a chair and, with one last look at the fast-asleep snoring boy she cares for, went to visit her dream world.

(Hours passed)

"Oh Jaden, please don't stop," Alexis cried to the boy on top of her.

"You make such a cute face Lex," Jaden said before capturing her lips with his own, moving deep inside her, feeling her shiver from his touch. She then broke away from the kiss and touched his face lovingly.

"What do you think I'm doing? I'm having some of my Alexis special, extra tender," he replied huskily in her ear. She shivered from his breath.

She opened her mouth to answer back, to make him stop, but no words came out. Instead, she heard herself moaning after feeling Jaden pinched her round nubs through her clothes. Oh my god, I can't believe this is happening to me.

"Don't worry Alexis, I may not remember much of what happened but I do remember telling you that I love you. Lex, you're the only girl for me and that wouldn't change. Hear me Alexis Rhodes, I love you from the bottom of my heart and I will never leave you," I told her, hugging her crying self near me.

"Thank you Jaden, thank you, thank you thank you and I love you so much," she cried, catching my lips, flooding me with warmth that I never felt like. I feel her shifting things to overdrive, pushing me back onto my bed, ravishing me. "I could get used to this," I thought as I returned her feelings with my mouth, feeling her body on me as we give in to each other's love, not caring a about anything else. The only thing that came to my mind was of the door opening to reveal a group of shocked teens, all shouting, cursing and urging us to do more. Looks like we have some explaining to do.
