Camellia
Summary: The future will never be the same and the story will change one way or another. After all, there is no Tsunayoshi. This isn't his story anymore. SI-OC. FemTsuna.
Beta: CeresNamikaze (No one is perfect, so maybe you can find an error here and there!)
Just a warning: FemTsuna, SI-OC, SI!FemTsuna, AU, Violence
Just so you know (Name): The name Tsubaki means 'Camellia'. The meaning of the flower depends of the color. Pink symbolizes 'heartfelt longing' and is the perfect flower for long distance lovers. Red is like... When in passionate love, adding a Red Camellia to your bouquet can mean only one thing to the intended recipient: that he or she is the very life of the fire in your heart. I like this one... Now, White Camellia, from what I know, is a way to say 'You're simply adorable'.
Target 6. The Camellia and an Unexpected Visitor
Tsubaki
Tsubaki rested her back to the wall in the corridor with a frown in her forehead. She could hear her mother muttering to herself as she looked for something and Tsubaki knew that the woman was doing everything she could to not start sobbing right there and then. Tsubaki didn't know what the problem was, but she knew that it had something to do with Iemitsu. And if what she saw her mother hiding truly was a gun, then Iemitsu's lies and true identity would brought to the limelight.
Taking a deep breath, the young girl sent one last look in the office direction before she decided to give her mother some time and leave the woman alone. She walked to her room and closed the door behind her, staring at nothing for a moment before shaking her head and moving toward Fon who was frowning, staring at her with worry.
"She is fine..." I hope.
She didn't finish the sentence, but the Storm Arcobaleno seemed to have heard her anyway. He hesitated for a moment, as if debating with himself if he should ask her what was wrong or not.
He tilted his head. "Do you want to talk about it?"
Tsubaki opened her mouth to politely decline the offer when she saw the expression in his face and remembered that Fon wasn't only the Storm Arcobaleno, he was her Guardian and although they only knew each other for a few hours, it was enough for him to want to be part of her life and for him to want to help her no matter what.
She could trust Fon.
Just like how she could and would trust her other Guardians.
Tsubaki just needed to remember that and that she was their Sky. She kept forgetting how important being the Sky was. She kept forgetting how the Elements looked at the Sky for guidance and for a place to belong. She kept forgetting that her Guardians more likely expect and want her to lean on them as they would lean on her...
"No..." She shook her head before smiling at Fon. She turned her attention to Lichi who was sleeping in his partner's lap and patted the little monkey. "Not now anyway. But I am grateful for the offer."
The blinding smile he sent to her was enough for Tsubaki know that she had been right and had done the right thing.
"What are you reading?" She asked, noticing that he was holding one of her notebooks. She just didn't know which one. Tsubaki had many notebooks like that one with ideas and things that she would be recreating.
"My Neighbor Totoro."
She nodded.
"Are you planning to publish it?"
Tsubaki tilted her head. "I am, but I want to wait a little..."
She had already talked to Nana about publishing some of her works when she was a little older (People would never believe that a three years old could make a Manga, at least at seven she could be called some type of prodigy or whatever. And when she had still been Elise, she had heard of a eight years old that learned to play the violin in only three months and he played like he had been doing that for years, so why not).
They started talking about her projects as Tsubaki grabbed some papers to continue drawing Inuyasha and stayed like this for a few minutes until Nana knocked on the door and entered into the room.
Fon placed a hand over her shoulder when Tsubaki noticed the expression on the woman's face and the way her eyes were red. It looked like she had been crying. She looked at him by the corner of her eyes and Fon shook his head, silently telling her that it would be better to leave Nana alone for now.
Tsubaki had to bite her tongue to stop herself from saying anything and nodded in agreement.
Nana smiled at them. "It is a little late, would you like to stay here tonight or do you want me to call your father, Fon-kun?"
Fon looked at the window.
It was already dark outside.
He shook his head and smiled at Nana. "Don't worry Sawada-san. I can go home alone."
She frowned. "Are you sure?"
Fon nodded, standing up with Lichi in his arms. "I will be fine."
There was a pause as Nana stared at him before she nodded. "Alright. But I want you to call us later to confirm that you got home safe."
Fon agreed to do so and smiled at Tsubaki before kissing her forehead. He said that he would see her tomorrow and walked out of the room after Nana. Tsubaki's jaw dropped at what he had done and shook her head before turning her attention back to her manga. She didn't stop blushing for hours after that.
00
After dinner, Tsubaki silently followed Nana around. She mentally thanked Chao who had gotten the habit of electrocuting her every time she made a sound next to him. The man had insisted that if she wanted to survive in their world, she would have to learn how to walk and even run without announcing to her targets and people around that she was there. He also said that this was part of her Stealth and Endurance training, so she kept her mouth shut about it and endured.
When Nana walked inside a room and then to another and appeared with boxes or papers in her arms, Tsubaki decided that after whatever discovery the woman made inside Iemitsu's office (Which she was now completely sure to be a gun after seeing the object in one of the boxes in Nana's room and that the woman had tried to hide) had given her some kind of reality check or purpose.
If Nana had learned about the Mafia or not, Tsubaki didn't know.
What she did know was that Nana seemed stronger now. Actually, it was like the presence around the woman changed and what seemed to be a dense Mist around her, protecting Nana from the world and creating a bubble around her, had been unveiled and was now more free and light.
The next day, before Nana left her in front of the Wei's compound for her training, Nana hugged her close and thanked her.
Tsubaki simply patted the woman's head with a small smile.
She didn't need to be a genius to understand that Nana was thanking her for not making questions and for giving her space.
With one look that said that if needed; Tsubaki would intervene and help her, the small orange eyed girl waved to the teary and grateful looking woman and started her way to Chao's house.
"Good Morning, Tsubaki-chan."
Tsubaki's lips twitched into a small smile when Fon walked out of the house and sent a warm smile in her direction. She didn't comment about the honorific used by him and nodded before looking around a little confused.
"Where is Chao-san and Li-san?"
She didn't dare to ask for Bai. The man had the tendency of appearing every time his name came out of her mouth and Tsubaki wanted to keep the calm and peaceful moment for a few moments.
"Li is in Osaka, he has a Mission with Bo." Seeing her confused expression, he chuckled. "Wei Bo is our brother."
"Ah..." Tsubaki nodded.
"My father is inside with Guo, Bo's son."
"You are the only one without children, aren't you?" The question was made before she could stop herself. Tsubaki's eyes widened a little in horror as she placed her hand over her mouth. "Forgive me, it was rude of me. I shouldn't have asked."
Fon stared at her for a moment before he smiled.
"I am." He nodded. "Li has Bai, Bo has Guo and my little sister, Mei, has Kyoya." Tsubaki blinked.
She hummed.
Tsubaki couldn't help but wonder when she would meet this woman and her future Cloud Guardian.
She opened her mouth to say something when she noticed someone walking in their direction. Turning Tsubaki saw a pale woman with sharp dark brown eyes and long jet-black hair with thick, square bangs. She was wearing a long, black and red Chinese dress, which was decorated with petals of flowers.
Lichi, who seemed to be running from the woman, blinked when he saw her and jumped in Tsubaki's arms.
"Uki ~!"
Tsubaki smiled at the little monkey. "Hello to you too, Lichi."
The woman stopped and tilted her head. "Well, well... Is this Sawada Tsubaki?" Fon stepped closer to Tsubaki which made her narrow her eyes a little when the woman leaned forward, placed her hands behind her back and smiled down at her. There was something wrong with that smile. "Well, it wasn't a lie. You truly isn't a child, are you?"
Tsubaki pressed her lips together.
She was pretty sure Chao had said something to her. Chao was certain that she was in a situation similar to Fon's and was cursed somehow (Li seemed to think differently and Tsubaki felt like he wanted to lock her in a room one day and torture the truth from her, which she made sure to never be left alone with him).
From what Chao commented one day, while they were training, he first thought she was Nana's mother. But since she looked like a female miniature of Primo with dark brown hair, he decided that she was actually Nana's mother-in-law and was Iemitsu's mother instead. He thought that the Vongola knew of her situation and that in case something happened to the current Heirs of the Famiglia, she would be taking their place (When did he learn about her relation to the Vongola anyway?).
When she heard that absurd theory of her being the cursed mother of Iemitsu and the spare Heir for the Vongola (Although the latter was more or less the truth), Tsubaki could do nothing more than stare at the old assassin with a blank expression and sweatdrop. She didn't say anything, not knowing what to say at such theory, and Chao considered her silence as a confirmation.
He had been rather smug at that.
She had decided that if people wanted to make their own conclusions about her then it was their problem. By this point, if they simply asked, she would give them a honest answer. Tsubaki was already tired of creating excuses.
Actually, Tsubaki was starting to get amused by all the misunderstanding surrounding her. After a while, she had decided that they were rather funny. For example; Chao had decided to help her improve all the fighting styles she knew and after she gave him a demonstration, the old man had somehow made the assumption that she had created those styles.
Her? Having created Taekwondo and Baguazhang?
She snorted.
Maybe in a past life.
"You tell me." Tsubaki said.
The woman's lips twitched before she nodded. "My name is Wei Jia. I am one of Chao-sama's nieces."
Tsubaki bowed. "Sawada Tsubaki, I am Chao-san's student."
Jia tilted her head before turning toward Fon.
"Fon-sama, Chao-sama and Guo-kun are waiting for us."
Fon thanked her, his eyes focused on her for a moment, and they followed Jia to the house. They walked for a while in silence before they entered in a room that Tsubaki knew to be the same one Chao had used to talk to her and her mother when they meet. Inside the room she saw Chao drinking tea and on the other side of the table, sitting with blinking eyes playing with a Gameboy was a boy with an emotionless expression that expression that made her blank and cold expression look like a smiling face in comparison.
Tsubaki stared at the boy, who couldn't be older than twelve years old, blinking in disbelief when he turned his face in her direction. The boy had messy black hair and reddish-brown eyes. He was wearing a dark blue tank top underneath a Chinese black jacket lined with silver, along black pants and black sandals. He also had a black necklace with round, white gems hanging from it and his face... His face!
This boy looked like Uta from Tokyo Ghoul!
Great. Tsubaki thought as she sat down, keeping herself close to Fon. Just what I needed. First the Zeno look alike and now this...
"You look like a doll." Tsubaki jumped at the emotionless voice and turned, staring at the Uta look alike with wide eyes.
When he had gotten next to her?!
He had been on the other side of the table last time she checked!
She backed away a little when he leaned forward, staring into her eyes.
"So you're Tsubaki..." He tilted his head and nodded. "Hello."
Tsubaki gulped. "Good Morning." She gave him a polite smile, trying to not get too uncomfortable. Although he was a rather creepy individual and made her think of Uta, something told her that he was a gentle soul deep down.
Like, really deep down.
"Where is Bai?" Jia asked suddenly.
Fon and Chao sighed when the door to the room were slid open with force. Chao calmly offered tea to his son who nodded in acceptance and thanked the old man. Jia raised an eyebrow and Tsubaki could only stare when a shadow appeared from the open door and came in her direction.
"You called ~?" Bai grinned widely as he opened his arms as if he would hug both Tsubaki and Guo.
But before he could reach them, Guo raised his arm and fisted his hand which connected to Bai's face and the silvery blonde was sent flying, hitting himself against a wall and leaving his face on it before he fell to the floor, twitching a little and moaning.
He was ignored by the members of the Clan in the room. Jia decided to eat a few cookies and read a magazine while Chao and Fon were talking to themselves. Guo, on other hand, was patting Tsubaki's hair, as if fascinated by it.
"Gu-gu is so mean to me ~"
Guo looked at him, his eyes still unblinking (How did he do that?!). "Don't move." He said when Bai tried to move to sit down next to them. Bai froze and stared at Guo with wide eyes. "Sit boy and stay."
When Bai did as told and sat down with a pout in his face, Tsubaki looked at Fon, silently demanding for answers.
Her Storm Guardian looked at her and chuckled.
"Guo is the only one aside from my Grandfather that has any control over Bai. Nor Li has as much control over his own son as them."
"Why?" She couldn't help but ask.
Chao chuckled.
"No one knows."
"Can I move now ~?" Bai asked.
"No."
There was five seconds of silence. "And now ~?"
"Silence."
"..." Bai stayed there, looking at the floor for a few seconds before he started making gestures with his hands.
Guo gave him a deadpanned expression (or so Tsubaki thought).
"I said no moving."
Bai stopped with his arms open widely and a funny expression in his face. He was completely frozen.
Tsubaki's lips twitched into an amused smile when Guo took a picture of Bai with his cellphone and started muttering to himself.
The Wei Clan could be very scary and terrifying almost all the time. But frankly, they could be a funny bunch... A very strange but funny bunch.

Jia, she learned later that day, as she trained her muscle memory with Fon, would be staying in the Wei compound for five months to help with her training. Guo, on other hand, would be staying in Namimori because his father wanted that he finished training (He relied too much on his guns and needed to learn a little more about hand to hand combat and his father - Bo - couldn't give it to him because the man was much better in the use of the swords) and for him to go to school. He would be going to Namimori Middle School next year.
At the end of the day, when her mother came to get her, Nana had asked her to wait a little before she moved to talk to Chao. Tsubaki couldn't hear what was said, but knew that it had to be something strange coming from Nana if the way Chao blinked and raised an eyebrow at her was any indication. The old man nodded and Nana walked back to Tsubaki with a determined look in her face that made Tsubaki look at Fon who shook his head and mouthed for her to wait until Nana told her what this was about.
Tsubaki frowned a little but nodded before taking her mother's hand and walking home with her.
The weeks were fairly calm after that, although Tsubaki's routine had changed a little. Before, she would have breakfast, her mother would take her to training and at the end of the day, Nana would come to get her and then they would go home and Tsubaki would draw a few chapters of Inuyasha (She wanted to finish this manga before starting any of the others) and would have dinner before going to sleep.
The changes on her routine had been that after training, Nana and she would walk to the Yamamoto household. Tsubaki didn't mind the change, it gave her an excuse to see Yamamoto and bond with her future Rain Guardian whose bond with her seemed to be really weak right now or at least dormant. But she couldn't help but think that Nana was hiding something important.
She learned what Nana was hiding one night, when she stepped in front of Tsuyoshi when they were alone in the room. She stared into his eyes and narrowed her eyes before demanding him to tell her what was going on.
The man stared at her with wide eyes and hesitated a little before he sighed in defeat and told her that Nana came to TakeSushi on afternoon with a determined face, asking if he knew how to use a gun and if he could teach her.
"So she learned about Iemitsu?" Tsubaki accidentally muttered her thoughts out.
Tsuyoshi looked at her in disbelief. "Y-You knew?"
Tsubaki stared at him and kept her face straight, unwilling to admit to herself at that moment that she had made a mistake.
"He isn't good in hiding his involvement with the Mafia."
Tsuyoshi pinched his nose before he took a deep breath. "You're smarter than I thought. Children your age shouldn't know what Mafia means."
She shrugged but didn't say anything.
"Nana wants to protect you... So she asked me for help..."
Tsubaki looked into his eyes again.
"You better take care of her and teach her well then."
Both of them noticed the threat there. Tsuyoshi nodded before he patted her head with kind eyes.
"I will."
Knowing what her mother was hiding made Tsubaki feel more calm and relaxed, it was good the woman had been planning something like a confrontation with Iemitsu. Nothing good would come from this, that the girl knew.
When she commented to Chao what her mother had been doing, the man threw his head back and told her with a grin that Nana was one courageous woman because she threatened to shoot him in the head if he didn't protect her from the dangers that came with being related to Sawada Iemitsu.
Nana had learned from Tsuyoshi what the Wei Clan really did for living and Chao seemed to have told her why Tsubaki was training under him. In return, Nana told him that she was also training with all she had to protect her daughter and be a good mother.
It brought a smile to Tsubaki's face to think that Nana accepted her choice and was doing her best to learn to protect herself and others. At least this Nana had more chances of survival than the original. It was also good that this Nana knew about the Mafia because Tsubaki hated lying to the young woman who loved her so much.
"Tsubaki, the tree!"
The warning from Chao came too late.
Tsubaki groaned and fell to the ground when she hit the tree.
"She ran two extra hours today, making it a total of six hours running... Good, but not good enough." Tsubaki shoot a look at Li who was standing in a corner, sitting on a raised root of one of the trees in the garden and writing in his black notebook. The man had come back from his mission two days ago and frankly, Tsubaki hadn't missed him. "Her stamina is longer, having suffered a growth of 13%... The number of cuts and bruises on her were cut off by 6%... We will need to raise her perception training, she didn't notice the tree standing in front of her until the last minute." He shook his head as if disappointed and she glared, not caring that her forehead was bleeding at the moment.
"Tsubaki-chan, here..." Tsubaki blinked and looked at Fon who smiled to her, offering a towel and water. He watched her clean her face for a moment before he turned his attention to his brother. "Ignore Li. He does that to everyone."
"I don't think he likes me much..."
Chao walked in their direction, his hands behind his back.
"Nonsense. If he didn't like you, even if a little, you would be dead or suffered a rather unfortunate accident."
She nodded and spared a glance toward Li.
Tsubaki blinked looking around. She could see Bai pocking something with a stick (She didn't want to know what it was) and Guo was practicing katas with a katana, but she couldn't see Jia.
"Where is Jia-san?"
Fon's fingers twitched and he smiled. It wasn't a good smile and it made Tsubaki remember that Fon seemed to do anything to keep her away from Jia. Although she really didn't like – or want - to be near the woman since something seemed to be wrong with her, it took a while for her to notice that all members of the Clan - even Bai - were always tense when near Jia and always kept an eye on her, especially when Tsubaki was with them. It made her a little relieved that she wasn't crazy and that something was really wrong with the brown haired woman.
"She has gone out for the day." Fon said before he discretely took a deep breath and his smile seemed less forced.
Chao observed his son for a moment before he nodded. "She will be back in a few hours."
Tsubaki tilted her head a little before nodding.
It was clear to her that they didn't want to talk about Jia.
"Sawada-san, your break is over."
She stood up and looked in Li's direction.
"I thought training was over for today?"
A knife was thrown in her direction, cutting her left cheek.
Tsubaki turned and started running while trying to ignore the aches in her body and how Chao chuckled at her and shook his head in amusement by his brother actions.
"Isn't it enough, Li?" Fon asked his brother with a frown.
"She should be grateful that I am only making her run." She could feel the man glaring at his brother. "I was planning to test her endurance against poisons."
While Tsubaki knows that Chao liked to electrocute her for punishment or even a form of training and that every child of the Wei Clan had endured the same treatment as her, Tsubaki was pretty sure that Li wasn't going to train her. The expression in his face made it clear that he would actually torture her with several types of poisons and if he killed her... Well, Tsubaki could almost imagine what he would say: Ops! It was an accident!
If possible, Tsubaki simply forgot all the aches in her body and started running faster.
Li really didn't like her.
Nana
After finding the gun in Iemitsu's office, it felt like all those years she had known him were nothing but an illusion. Nana, as she placed the gun back to its place, couldn't help but wonder if anything that Iemitsu told her since they meet was the truth, she also couldn't help but give a small laugh void of any emotion as she ignored the tears streaming from her eyes.
Iemitsu was a hypocrite.
He had told her to stay away from Tsuyoshi and Amaya, saying that they were dangerous and were lying to her.
But he was the liar and the dangerous one.
Her friends had never hidden anything from her.
They had never hidden their weapons and she was more than aware of their connection to the Yakuza.
Nana used the rest of the day to look for anything that explained to her who Iemitsu truly was and that explained the gun. In the end she found several boxes and papers related to the Mafia and something called Vongola. And as she sat down in her bed at night and started reading those papers, Nana felt like her eyes had been opened.
Several of those papers were descriptions of assassinations attempts against Tsubaki because her daughter (Her mature and sweet daughter) was related to Iemitsu. Iemitsu, it seemed, had placed several people around the house to protect Tsubaki and her. Actually, some of her neighbors worked under Iemitsu.
Nana gritted her teeth as she grabbed some of the papers, forcing herself to not start crying because such thing would not help her.
Nana, as she read the papers, came to the conclusion that she couldn't continue with the illusion of being the perfect wife and ignoring the fact that while she loved Iemitsu, he didn't love her enough to be her husband. She also needed to be strong if she wanted to keep her daughter alive and protect them both from the world Iemitsu had forced them into.
So with this in mind, after she left Tsubaki in Chao's house in the next day, Nana walked to Tsuyoshi's house feeling like such determination that she hadn't felt in years. The moment she saw her old friend, Nana looked into his eyes and it didn't pass by her how his eyes widened in surprise when he saw her face.
"Do you know how to use a gun?"
Maybe she should have phrased her question better, her friend seemed like he wanted to have a heart attack by the way he grabbed his chest and looked at her, but Nana didn't think that she had enough time to lose before the Mafia came knocking in her door.
Some of those papers made it clear that Tsubaki would be involved with the Mafia, whether she liked it or not. In case something happened to the current Heirs, her daughter would be the next in the list. It relieved Nana in knowing that Tsubaki was learning how to protect herself, because if something like this happened and her little Tsu-chan wasn't strong enough then she would be forced into a political marriage and would be nothing more than a walking incubator to the next Heir.
Nana wanted to be part of her daughter's life and nothing would stop her or take Tsubaki away from her.
She would turn herself into a Hitman, like those seeing in American Movies, if it was needed.
"Nana what are -" She interrupted Tsuyoshi.
"Iemitsu. I found Iemitsu's gun in his office along several papers of a Famiglia called Vongola." She glared at him and ignored how her friend started muttering about how stupid Iemitsu was. "I am not stupid or as naive as people think, Tsuyoshi! I need to know how to protect my daughter from Iemitsu's world. Are you going to help me or not?"
Tsuyoshi observed her for a moment before he nodded. "Alright... Maybe I can also teach you to use Amaya's fighting style... She... She had wanted to teach it to you after she found out that you and Iemitsu were together but... Well..."
Nana took a deep breath and looked in the direction of Amaya's picture on the wall.
And I started ignoring and avoiding you two...
She turned her attention back to Tsuyoshi and hugged her friend who froze.
"Thank you, Tsuyoshi..."
He stuttered for a while before he hugged back a little hesitantly.
"Anything for you, Nana..."
After that day, Nana would train and learn from Tsuyoshi after she got Tsubaki from Chao's house and after the TakeShushi was closed. She would leave Tsu-chan with little Takeshi and she would go to the Dojo of Tsuyoshi's house for them to train.
It was in one of those training sessions that Tsuyoshi hesitantly asked her if she knew who Chao and his family truly were. Nana was a little confused at this and told him that they were Martial Artists.
The expression on Tsuyoshi's face had made her feel sick.
"Nana... They aren't only Martial Artists... They are Assassins. Everyone in the underworld knows them."
Learning that her daughter was actually training under an Assassin had made Nana want to lock the small girl inside the house and leave her there. But Nana had notice how fond Tsubaki was of the Wei Family, especially Fon-kun who Nana considered to be Tsubaki's best and only friend.
She also could see how Tsubaki had improved. Now that she had been truly looking for it, Nana could see the bruises in her daughter body, but she could also see how she had gotten more gracefully and how the sixth sense the girl had for danger had gotten stronger. Because of this, Nana now knew which of her neighbors were Iemitsu's employers. All of them always received a suspicious look from her daughter.
Nana also knew that she could do nothing to stop Tsubaki from going to the training sessions. Her daughter had wanted it. But it didn't stop Nana from going to Chao one afternoon and she was proud to say that she had threatened the old man with a gun if he didn't protect her daughter well. She was training for a reason after all, and if something happened to Tsubaki he would have to deal with her. It didn't matter if he was an Assassin. Nana was a mother and mothers did everything to protect and care for their child.
"Now you look like the mother and not the child." Chao had said to her after he agreed with her.
Nana felt a little proud of that.
She knew very well that between Tsubaki and her, it always looked like her own daughter was actually the mother of the duo, but she would continue to try and show that she was a good mother and that Tsubaki didn't needed to do anything to protect her.
It was her job to protect her daughter, after all.
And this was exactly what she was going to do.
No matter what.
If Tsuyoshi, who was with her in the same room, noticed the Indigo Flames in her forehead as she did this promise to herself, he never said anything.
Tsubaki
After her training finally - finally! - finished for the day and her mother had gone to train with Tsuyoshi, Tsubaki and Takeshi (She had decided to not call him Yamamoto, especially when she noticed how happy he could get when she called him by his name) had gone to the park near the TakeSushi.
It was December 17 and there was snow everywhere so they had decided to make snowmen. Actually, only Takeshi was making the traditional snowman. Tsubaki, for a reason she had yet to understand, was making statues of the Seven Arcobaleno (She had thought of making Luce, but gave up on it since she really didn't know her as much as she knew Fon and the others). All of them were wearing winter clothes (made of snow of course) and although they had all been made in anime style, she was still proud of her work.
"Tsu-chan!" She stopped making the details in Colonello's clothes and turned to Takeshi. "I will call Nana-san and Dad to see it, 'kay?" He asked with a big grin.
Tsubaki nodded with a small smile, not seeing why not.
Takeshi waved to her and ran in direction of the TakeSushi. Tsubaki stared at him for several minutes before she turned her attention back to her work. It took a while for her to finish but when she did, Tsubaki frowned a little since it was clear to her that something was missing. After a while, she shook her head and decided that it would be better to also create the Arcobaleno's partners.
She placed Leon in Reborn's right shoulder while the Hitman was smirking and looking in her direction. Verde was pushing his glasses up and holding a cup of coffee while Keiman was near his feet, Oodako was next to Skull who was hiding his bike, Fantasma was placed above Mammon's head as he (Tsubaki was pretty sure Mammon was a he) counted the money he was holding, Falco was also above Colonello's head as the blonde grinned and held his sniper and Lal was next to him with her arms crossed.
Tsubaki backed away a little and stared at Lal.
"Does Lal have a partner?" She frowned in thought.
"No, she doesn't."
Tsubaki nodded and thanked whoever had answered her. She continued to work until it finally came to her who had answered her.
She paled.
Slowly, Tsubaki turned around.
A smile was sent in her direction to her. "Hello, Tsubaki-chan."
Oh, for the love of the Sage, why him?!
She bowed to the pale white haired man wearing a green kimono and round glasses. Frankly, Tsubaki should have known that he would appear one day or another. But she had hoped to not see the man in a few years at least.
"G-Good Afternoon, Kawahira-ojisan."
He seemed greatly amused by her discomfort as he tilted his head and his smile widened. "Why don't we talk a little?"
Was it too late for her to start running?
Target 6. The Camellia and an Unexpected Visitor
And Kawahira appears!
So, I had several people asking me to make Tsubaki into the Sky Arcobaleno. It won't make much difference for me if she was, I was planning to give almost all Arcobaleno to her and make them her Guardians anyway (Only Viper/Mammon and Lal weren't going to be her Guardians). Until next chapter, I will decide if I should make her the Sky Arcobaleno or not... *shrug*
I had several problems writing Nana POV in this chapter, but at least I am finally over with it and can publish this... And what do you guys think of Guo and Jia? Well, Jia didn't do much but well, she will be important in this Arc.
Anyway! I hope you liked this chapter and please, don't forget to:
