"Fratello! Wait for me!" The voice was loud and belonged to a certain auburn haired Italian, following after the brown haired sibling ahead. Having missed the bus, both Feliciano and Lovino had to walk, well in their case, run to school.
"Hurry up!" Yelled the older one, brown eyes cast back to look back at Feliciano. Both were in high-school, yet Lovino had taken to being the 'father' like figure. Well, the father-like figure who was a total asshole to those who fucked with his younger sibling and himself.
The only reason they were late was because Feliciano had taken too long in the shower. Lovino tsked, thinking how it seemed unfair for the younger to take a shower first. He was older, shouldn't he have rights to shower first? Then again, he was always one to wake up later.
The only reason, he believed, the auburn haired Italian got up early was to see that...that boy Ludwig.
Ludwig was a tall, muscular blonde haired man. At the beginning of Feliciano's high-school year Ludwig had moved to America from Germany, along with his brother and father. After their grandfather passed away, and they had obtained the large sum of money left for them, they moved to America for a "new chance at life", or so their father, Gerhart, had said.
Feliciano found that Ludwig, with his slicked back hair; with bangs that fell down after P.E, looked incredibly sexy. The most interesting, the most loving characteristic about the German that Feliciano just loved were his eyes. Eyes so blue, deep, sparkling. Like the ocean and the skyline that collided together.. He hated the ocean but he loved the sky.
Feliciano snapped out of his thoughts when he felt a hard force collide with his knee. For a moment he crouched there, left hand covering his knee. What had hit him? Once he was revived from the trance by his brothers words "Dio, Feli can't you be a little less clumsy?" he looked to see what had scraped against his nee. A pile of twigs. He let out a whimper of pain, standing up with a pout as he caught up to his brother. "M-Mi dispiace fratello..."
Once again they began running and Feliciano felt a weight drop in his chest as the school came into sight. Signing in, the two went to their respected classes. When Feliciano arrived to his classroom he paused, bringing a hand to his chest and letting out a deep breath. Ludwig was there, of course he would be, but he was closes to the Italians seat. When did the desks move? Stepping into the room he flashed a smile to the teacher, striking a small conversation about why he was late.
Spinning on his heel he made his way to his desk, sliding into the seat with ease. "Ah, Ciao Luddy!" He greeted a smile plastered on his face. He watched the German's ear twitch in response and blue eyes slid from the position on the teacher to Feliciano. "Ah, Guten Tag Feli."
Feliciano's heart skipped a beat, his smile growing brighter at the nickname that escaped the German's mouth.
"Where have you been?" Asked Ludwig, a light scarlet blush dusting its way across his cheeks.
"Oh, I was late because I took a super-duper-uper long shower!" Feliciano explained with a nod, tilting his head once his eyes located the blush.
"Gute, gute. I was...I was worried about you.." his voice trailed off, eyes landing back on the teacher he began to talk.
"You...you were worried about me?" eyes lit up, widened at the thought of the German being concerned for him.
Unfortunately Ludwig was unable to answer as the bell rang, signalling the free period for the Italian and wonderfully the German! Feliciano smiled, following after the blonde man. Ludwig raised an eyebrow, looking back at the Italian. "Ah, Feliciano. Would you...would you mind coming to lunch with me..?" he questioned, shifting his backpack so it slung over his other shoulder.
Feliciano let out a happy sound, grabbing the others hand and nodding rapidly. "Si, si! Where will we go?"
Ludwig turned his head away, eyes locking on the russet colored truck which his father had given him. "Arby's, its the closest place to the school."
"Aww, what about that Italian place...?"
"It will take too long."
"Oh...oh...Bene"
The rest of the day went by in a flash of colors and sounds. By the time Feliciano arrived home, he was exhausted. Lovino, that big meany, had gone home with Antonio leaving Feliciano to do all the work Grandpa Julius didn't want or couldn't do.
When he went to bed. Feliciano felt happier than he ever could.
