"yo! We're coming at you live from Merqury city, somewhere in California, USA! I'm you're host, Terry Nash." The man with tidy light hair began to walk down the stretch of a sidewalk, with a camera following his movement. "Nearly a decade a new competition was created to push snowboarders past the limit its name SSX! Eight novice snowboarders participated and shred through several outrageous tracks and made a name for themselves. But it did not end there; soon a new one begin called SSX Tricky with courses remade, new boarders, and even wilder tricks. A few years after that SSX3 was born and its new location Big Mountain welcomes its riders both new and old; to take on avalanches, snowstorms, and shifting terrain. The time finally came when they went on tour and travelled to different regions testing their skills on international snow till at the end SSX came to an end and the pros moved on to do other things. Then ssx veteran Zoe Payne along with veteran Mackenzie "Mac" Fraser and newcomer Tane Mumea brought back SSX standing for Snowboard Skiing Motorcross. They assembled some of their friends and pros including Elise Riggs, Kaori Nishidake, Moby Jones, and Psymon Stark. They also recruited two new boarders to join them; Alex Moreau and Ty Thorsen to take on nine of the deadliest mountains in the world. However another SSX expert Griff Simmons heard about it and tried to conquer them which made it into a race to see who can do it first. It eventually led down to zoe and griff in a showdown on the deathzone descent. The race was tough but in the end Zoe came out on top or should I say bottom hanging on to the chopper taking her home as they leave the king in the powder. It's been a year since that day and we have not heard anything of SSX since then till now. Me and some of the world's best architects, planners, designers, and constructers to build nine of the most insane and most challenging venues around the world and we would like to challenge SSX to take them all on. So come on down to good old Merqury city for the Pre-event Celebration where we have a special surprise for you. The recording from two days was paused as Zoe kept looking at the screen knowing that something doesn't feel right but who was she to decline a challenge. She looked around see her fellow boarders preparing for the bash. "Alright time to show the world how the Mac rolls" Mac said before hearing a fake cough from Elise. "I mean how we roll Hehe" he quickly said not wanting to face anybody's wrath. "What do we know about this guy?" Tane asked as he was straightening his coat; "He's a big TV host that did some of the greatest shows ever: History's Biggest Sports Fails, Agent Kahuna, Love & Soccer, Knockout, and Super Athlete Showdown." Ty replied excited he gets to meet one of his favorite famous persons. "So it's just a party nothing I'm new to here and am an adept at." Alex said while looking over her outfit for the seventh time. "Alex is right let's have an amazing time!" Kaori cheered as she finished her hair; the rest were finished and left for the festivity.

It was a lively event in the old city/track as the music was pumping and the people were jamming. "Now this is more like it love" Moby said relaxing as Zoe was sitting burrowed up to his side. Alex and Elise were being admired and talked to by men of all ages, Kaori and Ty were dancing and grooving to the music, Tane was signing autographs from fans, and Mac & Psymon were stuffing their faces at the buffet line. "This stuff is awesome" Mac said stuffing his face with as much bacon wrapped Filet mignon as he can; Psymon couldn't say anything due to his being full of coconut shrimp. "Wow it's an honor to meet you Ms. Moreau and Ms. Riggs" said a sixteen year old; "Please darling no need to be so formal here" Alex said to the boy with a heartwarming smile as Elise gave him a kiss on the cheek. Ty and Kaori were dancing wildly to hip hoppin beat; "you got some major moves there Kaori" he said. "Thanks but you're just as good as well" she replied to her fellow boarder. "Tane would you mind signing here?" a lady requested moving her hair to the side revealing her neck. "Anything for a fan" he said signing the lady's skin. Another 60 minutes later everyone gathered for the big announcement as the man himself Terry Nash appeared and began his speech. "Thank you everyone for attending this little shindig that will be the beginning to another exciting competition. Please welcome our guests of honor team SSX!" Terry announced as cheers and applause was made for them. "Now as you all may have heard we nine new courses for them try out, not a single are the same so it will be a new experience each time. As you all may have heard I said I had a surprise for the competition and I will make due on that promise" he said as everyone kept cheering but the Veterans know it's not gonna be something they like at all, judging from the smirk on his face. "And here they are!" he yelled as everyone noticed several choppers hovering over the start of the old track; several masked boarders descended down and started to shred through the entire course. Most couldn't believe how good they were, even team SSX were having a hard time believing it. When they made it to the stage they stopped their boards causing a blast of snow aimed right at boarder's faces. "Dude what the hell" Zoe roared; "I know that's just cold right" Alex said trying to be literal and funny. "Oy just who'd you think you blokes are!" Moby yelled; "They're not nice" Kaori whined, most got all the snow off till psymon being you know psymon shakes his off like a dog getting it on some of his friends. "Dammit Psymon" Elise was less then pleased.

"Watashi no shazai no Kaori sore wa anata ga kanjiru koto ga dekita baai ni wa, yoriyoi, watashi wa anata ni mukatte mezashite inakatta" said one of the mask snowboarders and some of the team recognized that voice; "that voice Hiro-san is that you?" the girl asked the figure. He removed his headgear to show a handsome Japanese man with short brown hair and brown eyes; "Yes Kaori it's me" he replied in fluent English. "Ladies and Gentlemen presenting boarder A: Hiro Karamatsu" Terry introduced,

"Hey Hiro how's the leg" Moby teased the Japanese man of how he was forced retired. "Moby alvayz ze jokesters vich iz all you'll eva ve" said a cocky french voice; "Oh no don't tell me" Zoe groaned as another athlete revealed himself with his blond well-kept hair (SSX tricky style) and shades. "Back from popular demand for male veterans we have Jean-Paul "JP" Arsenault" the host presented.

"This cannot be happening" said Elise; "Oh it's happening chica" said a female Hispanic voice as another took off their gear to show a beautiful Hispanic lady with tanned skin, long blonde hair, and seductive brown eyes. "Also back from popular demand but for females the bewitching Marisol Diez Delgado" Terry led but, Elise just growled while grinding her teeth.

"Also returning we have: "Broderick "Brodi" Ford"; the tall man appeared be to the same as he was only his blond hair with brown roots spikier nearly covering his eyes,

"Allegra Sauvagess;" the female in question was more mature and developed body with her red hair now in a unbraided messy like attractive way, "Viggo Rolig"; like Allegra he aged grown into a more handsome and dashing young man making all the girls swoon over him,

"Tyson Logan"; once his face was shown the team nearly mistook him for his older brother Nate looking exactly like him only difference is his blond hair. "And new bloods joining us are Bionca Bianchi!" Terry hosted, revealing a female of European descent in her early twenties with ivory skin, black hair with violet highlights, and dark blue eyes.

"And last but not least the Prince of Extreme: JACK" Terry finished as both Ty and Tane did a spit-take once they heard the name seeing the last man fully concealed in artic survival gear not revealing who he truly is.

"YO Nash what's going on" Mac question the TV host; "why I thought it would be nice to give you all some fresh competition and who better than some old and new rivals" he said with devious glee. "This cannot be happening" Tane said while facepalming. "So here's the game: just like the deadly descent only one rider from each team can one mountain; they'll race and do tricks, but it'll all come down to the Duel it round were they two must traverse the entire course to the finish were the winner will rule the mountain, the team with the most mountain rules wins the challenge."

"No prob this win is in the bag" Viggo boasted; "so says the dude who left cause of the old tongue to a frozen flagpole accident" Zoe retold. "Come on guys were supposed to have fun" Brodi intervene trying to be the peaceful one; "true but, winning would make the fun even sweeter" Hiro told the surfer/boarder. "Now rest up competitors we have a big day ahead of us tomorrow for you and our new team may I present you, Team Neo-SSX!" Nash announced as they were being swarmed by fans and reporters. The original SSX just looked in stupid shock at what just happened trying to process the whole thing. "Uh…love what the eff happened?!" Moby asked Zoe; "This entire race just got even more ridiculous that's what" she responded as her and the rest left to prepare for the biggest competition of their lives.

So now the challenge is set and the competitors have all been announced who will win? And who will be the loser. Stay tune!
